Far left Democrats are going berserk of the repeal of Roe. I always thought that was a bad ruling which was based on zero legal reasoning. The Constitution does not give the federal government the power to regulate abortions. The other thing here is that the liberals have had control of the courts for decades. How to they like it now that conservatives are in charge?

As Tucker opined, what terrifies these people is having to do "democracy". Win over people and vote for your ideas - what a concept. It actually makes local stakes higher again - and nationalized politicians like AOC, Pelosi, etc - who should only be beholden to their circa 500k electors, don't like it.

There's more to the gun control bill, to be signed by JoJo the Waterhead this morning, than just the red flag law. A little tidbit in there is clarification on the licensing of dealers. Expect to see U Haul trucks unloading khaki clad glowies at gun shows in increasing numbers. You're walking around, have a gun for sale or trade, and the nice guy strikes up a conversation and buys it. He can't prove you sold it for profit, but you can't prove you didn't. Process is punishment.

There are some otherwise relatively intelligent people (and some not so intelligent) who are waking up to discover they've been lied to. That is, yesterdays decision changes nothing with respect to abortion in their state. Furthermore, that all this latest decision did was let the voters of each state decide how they will handle abortion policy.

== It goes without saying, but those frothing crazies go berserk at everything. Do they not know, or does it even matter in their pea brains, that abortion will still be available in many states? I was pleasantly surprised when my Monsignor very publicly took Hochul to task on her abortion stance. The church has tried to take a very non confrontational stance on these central questions of faith, and that confuses and distresses the faithful. Doctrine is very clear on these matters to those who read it. Be part of Gods holy church and work for him, or don't and be something else. you gotta remember, to the radical feminists who have a lot of influence in these matters, abortion on demand and at the taxpayers' expense is the only way women can protect themselves from being forced into pregnancy and childbirth and total dependency on men.

Talk to any sentient honest person whose had an abortion. They have a lot of regrets and emotions about it. Stopping the beating heart of a child and realizing that it was your hand which allowed it is a terrible thing to live with. It is also why these programs where we can help support expectant mothers with whatever their needs are can be so important. It's also why they are bombing these counseling centers. They reveal the lies being told about abortion and that "choice" can mean life for the child and support for you and the baby.

i am a pre-trib believer, as is his message. We ain't seen nothin' yet. It might get tough, but it isn't close to tribulation tough. Spoiler: God wins in the end. Eschatology is a wax nose, with Revelation being the greatest letter written in the post-modern style. If you read the words of Christ in the Olivette Discourse and in the between-times of his Kingdom parables, if you read the words of the apostles in their letters, it has a very strong preterist vibe - that is, the men inspired by the Paraclete wrote as if they expected to be alive at the LORD's return. (Spoiler: John was). The various forms of chiliasm I think is a reflection of man's understanding of God's word through contemporary influences, whereas the intent of Revelation is to the leave the reader with the God Wins In The End conclusion so that the reader will live that way confident in that knowledge. Yeah, the cops hit the crows with tear gas in AZ. Which I thought was great.
I was also quite surprised our outgoing governor issued such a strong statement regarding Roe V Wade. However, the usual suspects, Democrats one and all, made sure to issue statements decrying overturning Roe V Wade. One of my friends has a pro-choice wife and I asked him last night how things were. Was she angry?
Nope. She hadn't even talked about it. I wonder how much of this is just a passing tantrum. In a week, we'll have a new national shortage, the economy will be officially in recession, etc. Posted by: Ace-Endorsed Author A.H. Lloyd at June 25, 2022 08:47 AM (llXky) 363
344 So, I just went for a walk with a woman who has a very sweet spirit and I love her, but she talks the entire time and I mostly say "umm" or "ahh" or "How could you handle that?"
Posted by: FenelonSpoke That's kind of you to walk with her. This is why I like to walk alone. And it also makes me sad to see people out on a walk in nature, with headphones on, head down, grinding it out. There would be zero joy in that for me. I love the sound of the woods. Posted by: Tinfoilbaby at June 25, 2022 08:46 AM (oopYk) --- Disagree. The Dobbs leak was a warning order, and they had a month to mobilize. They even had a standby notice go out, and they knew the potential days a decision would come out. In fact, alerts to law enforcement were going out Thursday evening and into Friday morning. Posted by: Nova local at June 25, 2022 08:49 AM (exHjb) --- These people also live in a bubble. They tweet and facebook each other, get 10,000 likes (half from bots) and then wonder where everyone is. More than any other issue, the Dems are really deluded about public support on abortion. Which is a good thing. Posted by: Ace-Endorsed Author A.H. Lloyd at June 25, 2022 08:51 AM (llXky) 369

Posted by: Tinfoilbaby at June 25, 2022 08:46 AM (oopYk) ----------- The left has had plenty of time to organize. They had advance warning though the Dobbs decision being leaked weeks ago. I suspect the masters of the days of rage were told by their Democrat masters burning down cities going into the mid-terms would be counter productive. My experience is they refuse to consider the possibility, including shouting down any such discussion. When it happens, they'll just scream. Its a bizarre kind of psychosis. I can't explain it. But I sure as shit know when I see it. Posted by: Here We Go Again at June 25, 2022 08:54 AM (rXn4d) 374

Posted by: Ace-Endorsed Author A.H. Lloyd at June 25, 2022 08:47 AM (llXky) The Left is a spent force. They've spent 50 years crowing about how there would be a "huge" public outcry if abortion was ever overturned, and now we're at that point and... nothing except a few paid wokesters wandering around DC with signs. They still (for the moment) control the heights, but they've already lost everything else. They're a dying bunch of aristos, holed up in their castles insisting that everything is just like the old days, while the peasants begin to revolt. The Left is down to one Justice that can form a complete sentence. Don't expect any impressive dissents in the next term..

But Roe was self-fulfilling. When the babies became "throw away" items, Fatherhood went with it.
Multiple studies have shown that the biggest determining factor in childhood development, especially for boys, is the presence of a father/male figure. "It's three things: first, a tight pussy; second, loose shoes; and third, a warm place to shit.” Roe make "loose shoes" more than a concept. Posted by: SMOD at June 25, 2022 11:03 AM (X5CsJ) 383
64 Maybe give Sterling a toy to knead?
Try a cheap fleece blanket (the kind you find at Walmart). Our cats all have a piece of one (about 1/3 of a blanket), they will knead and mouth it like they are kittens. They are all at least 5 years old Posted by: PMRich at June 25, 2022 12:30 PM (eh5ud) 384
