Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | DHS Bulletin: There Are Threats That "Activists" Will Burn Down the Supreme Court Building and Commit "Nationwide Violence" if Roe v. Wade is OverturnedWhat a shock, the Democrats' street paramilitaries are threatening violence again, and the Democrats are only reluctantly and softly mumbling a very mealy-mouthed "No wait don't." President Biden's administration is bracing for a wave of violence when the Supreme Court rules on Roe v. Wade in June, Fox News confirmed Wednesday. A May 13 memo from the Department of Homeland Security details ongoing investigations into threats to "burn down or storm" the Supreme Court building. Threats against the court arose last month after a draft majority opinion overturning Roe v. Wade leaked to the press. The Supreme Court is expected to hand down the ruling next month. Axios first reported on the memo. The court's conservative justices have already faced targeted protests outside their homes following the leak. The DHS memo reportedly says those protests "are likely to persist and may increase leading up to and following the issuing of the Court's official ruling." The memo goes on to clarify that rhetoric supporting violent extremism does not itself constitute extremism. "The mere advocacy of political or social positions, political activism, use of strong rhetoric, or generalized philosophic embrace of violent tactics does not constitute domestic violent extremism or illegal activity and is constitutionally protected," the memo reportedly reads.Weird how such rhetoric is extremism when the right uses it. Biden and Merrick Garland are doing everything possible to allow assassins to gather close to the families of the Supreme Court justicies. Fox "reports" that, but weirdly, fails to note that the House refuses to pass this bill into law. You can't trust Fox. Fox is a leftwing propaganda organization that just happens to also employ Tucker Carlson as a profit center. Below, Karine Jean-Pierre refuses to say that these threats come from her leftwing allies -- but makes a Freudian slip in acknowledging that "we" are very "one-sided" in what "we call out as intimidation or violence."
She means that the right is one-sided in what they call out as intimidation or violence, but she's admitting, the Biden Administration has been encouraging violence from its leftwing paramilitaries for years. Even before it was in power, it was encouraging antifa to burn down cities to help it turn the country against Trump. Oh, here's what I mean by "Don't trust Fox, Part 2,278." Former Fox Chief Campaign Correspondent Carl Cameron, arguing that those who spread "disinformation" as the Biden Tyranny defines it should be thrown in jail.

off thread,
I brought this up a few days ago, but I think it is being overlooked (well, I only read Ace and Insty, so that is a guess.) Justice Thomas gave an interview with John Yoo and there was a question near the end about the quality of clerk candidates. In answering, Thomas incidentally mentioned that the vetting process the court uses is such that he interviewed one candidate and did not know she was black until he met her. In fact, he seemed impressed at that process. Some background - This is pre-CRT but I think in the 80s there was some concern over bias in grading at law schools and some converted to using ID numbers and not names to reduce this. It seems some groups were not doing so well in the coursework and there was concern that it was due to racism. (This didn't help, and the horrible joke was that bias still existed because those kids would write their number as "I be 1473...") At that time the goal was to be colorblind. When that didn't work I guess they tried CRT. It looks like the SC clerk process is still dominated by those who think it is best to be colorblind. to be continued Posted by: Gentlemen, this is junta manifest at May 18, 2022 06:32 PM (fHali) 47

#46 continued
Some more background - I saw another interview with Thomas Sowell (very vague on when or where, but I remember this detail clearly.) He was asked about affirmative action, and the interviewer made a remark about Justice Thomas, saying that surely *he* must support it. Sowell seemed a bit taken aback and he didn't say that he knew, but he did say that he thought Thomas would not support it since it denigrates the accomplishment of those who achieve their position based on merit. I think on the Left there is an assumption that (a) Justice Thomas is only there because he is black, and (b) therefore he must support AA. Both assumptions are clearly wrong. Here's the real nugget -- Thomas told his staff to make sure the woman knew that he did not know she was black until he met her. I don't remember his words, but it was something about how it was something which would benefit her to know. Posted by: Gentlemen, this is junta manifest at May 18, 2022 06:33 PM (fHali) 54

For those curious about our relative spending for Covid vs the housing crash I found this.
https://tinyurl.com/mvv588kk It's $2.5T passed by legislation to be spent as of June 2020, an October 2020 number had $2.6T, slightly higher. Iirc there was nothing major passed after this point under Trump. Of note is that most of this spending didn't take place until 2021. Biden then had his own $2T relief bill, bringing us to the current total of $4.6T you can easily find. The 5th Circuit just ruled that the SEC acted outside their authority, authority Congress never should have given them, to enforce laws. That's the job of the courts. This is a big shot at the administrative state. Posted by: AlaBAMA
If this holds up and is extensible to the general administrative state, the primary vector the Left uses to undermine the Constitution and effectively create and enforce rules that carry the weight of law by outsourcing Congressional authority to bureaucracy just go neutered. I don't know how fragile it is or how much overhead remains in the system, but the rapid influx of people and business is surely going to be stressing the grid for years and years to come. It's going to be the same thing with water reservoirs. Too much civilization too fast. On the plus side, it is the Supreme Court Building. The same building that gave us Roe vs. Wade. The same building that stood by and watched while a Presidential Election was rigged, by at least five percentage points. The same building that ruled ObamaCare a tax. SEC ruling sounds good from what the wise Morons have presented. My first thought goes to the Big Short movie, where Goldman/Morgan knew they would be bailed out, and the SnP ratings agency faked the ratings on behalf of their BigClients ... while they got out of their dee3p underwater postitions.
In Goldman's case they lies to clients and unloaded their junk on them, and later paid $2B in a "fine". No one goes to jail, the SEC "judges" looked the other way .. it would seem, but I don't really know if that relates to this case at all. Posted by: illiniwek at May 18, 2022 07:20 PM (Cus5s) 246

There are several other Power Grids in the nation with minimal connections to the rest of the nation, just like ERCOT. MAIN, MAPP, the Western version, etc. Many of these grew from the fact that Electricity was a luxury in the early 1900 and only available in large cities or rich peoples estates. BS. It infringes on my right to vote in Pennsylvania, should the decision be placed where it belongs (with the states).
And my Congressional representative - an officer of the court who donned her sad white outfit in protest of the Kavanaugh debacle & who's all in for Voters Rights - better be protecting me & mine (rights). Posted by: Lola at May 18, 2022 09:44 PM (NIYa7) 292
There are hundreds of innocent Americans now suffering as political prisoners!
If the Republicans take control of the Legislative Branch of the Federal government, what actions are they going to take to free these victims, and to punish the traitors who have engaged in violating their civil rights?! As far as I am concerned, most members of the Democratic Party are de facto criminals, as are compliant Republicans. If the Republican Party will not take a position against them, ONE THAT I CAN VOTE FOR, they join the criminals' ranks. And thus the election becomes a farce, one that leaves an honest American no honest leader to vote for!! I'm talking to you, Trump!! Posted by: Ray Van Dune at May 18, 2022 11:01 PM (4OVxK) 293
Lordy.
Please. JUST STOP. Fox isn't conservative. We GET THAT. Only Democrats don't. But they're better than the other 97% of media. Posted by: Pelosi's Eyebrows at May 18, 2022 11:55 PM (l9Soe) 294
