Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is suing the Biden administration over its move to end the Title 42 public health order, arguing the rule is holding back a "devastating flood of illegal immigration."
The lawsuit, which is the latest legal challenge from Republican states against the administration's move to end Title 42, alleges that the Biden administration failed to follow the Administrative Procedure Act’s notice-and-comment requirements and did not consider the consequences of ending the public health order. https://tinyurl.com/28m85t4n Posted by: Vic at April 24, 2022 06:03 AM (mZwKe) Posted by: Vic at April 24, 2022 06:03 AM (mZwKe) Posted by: Vic at April 24, 2022 06:03 AM (mZwKe) 14

BRINNON, Wash. (WXIN) – It wasn’t the usual mountain rescue for first responders in Washington’s Olympic National Forest.
Instead of rescuing a hiker that was stranded at the top of a mountain, they came to the aid of a woman who was stuck inside an outdoor toilet. The woman was using the facilities at the Mt. Walker vista point on Tuesday when she dropped her cell phone into the underground container below a vault toilet, according to a public Facebook post by the Brinnon Fire Department. People with cellphone addiction are everywhere. I like to play cards at the casinos, and sometimes I'll just sit at a slot and feed it awhile, mindless entertainment. People will be sitting at them, hitting the spin button with one hand and holding their phone in the other, blabbing away about absolutely nothing. Some of the newer slot machines have charging ports. I have seen dealers at the card tables tell players to lose the phone or move on.

Rumor on the street that the current Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy (MCPON) stepped in shit while visiting and meeting with the crew of, I believe) The Carrier George Washington.
After suffering the loss of ten personnel, including three suicides in recent months, when one of the crew asked about deplorable living conditions, his response was that they needed to 'lower their standards'. Not playing well with the lower decks, at all. And seems to parallel this administrations response to the American people being upset with less choice, and out of stock items on grocery shelves. Friends-a couple- went on cruise 2 weeks ago. I don't know why anyone would get on a cruise at this time as we are trying to squash the Chinese pandemic. With that said, they came home with, that's right, Covid. The worse part is, the day the came home they visited our local bar...at happy hour. No masks-not that they do much of anything- but still!!! then he came back the following day. And much to his chagrin, I got word he had covid. yUP, called his ass out in front of people. Some left. His wife called our mutual friend, who had told me about their situation, and said she was "sorry she ever mentioned it." Unreal. Nice words escape me so I will just call them SELFISH.

First, the defendants portrayal of the joint venture at issue as ill-defined, [in]coherent, and too complicated for a jury to understand is simply wrong. The evidence will further show that the joint venture continued and crystallized early in August 2016 when the defendant, Tech Executive-1, and agents of the Clinton Campaign met at Law Firm-1. In particular, on August 12, 2016, the defendant, Tech Executive-1, the Clinton Campaigns General Counsel (Campaign Lawyer-1), and the co-founder of the Clinton Campaign’s hired investigative firm (the U.S. Investigative Firm) met in Campaign Lawyer-1s office. In other words, the defendants efforts to distance Researcher-1 from the joint
venture in order to shield his emails from the jury fall flat. To be sure, Researcher-1 maintained a comparably greater degree of independence and scientific integrity than the other researchers insofar as he pushed back repeatedly against the over-stated conclusions that Tech Executive-1 and his other associates seemed intent on advancing. But his communications make plain that even though he believed the proposition being advanced in the Russian Bank-1 allegations was unproven, he nevertheless agreed to advance the overall goals of the project that Tech Executive-1 had requested.
