The Morning Report - 4/20/22

mcombass.jpg

Good morning, kids. Wednesday and Salena Zito has been covering the political scene in Pennsylvania and other rural and suburban locales for quite a number of years now, so I think she more than most has her finger on the pulse of the base. Her latest piece, though, which focuses on what's happening in Macomb County, Michigan in the run-up to this November and 2024, really irked me.

. . . Macomb County, one of the state’s largest and a bastion of blue-collar Republicanism, had 288 credentialed delegates meeting, each representing his or her home precinct. This county, which supported former President Donald Trump twice, could be described as one of the most “America First” large counties in the nation. Trump was even there for a rally last week. It is arguably a bellwether as to the current state of the party and its new conservative-populist coalition going forward.

When Macomb Township Republican Jamie Roe walked into the event at the Shelby Gardens convention space, he said the place was well on its way to being packed and that the mood was “spirited.”

County conventions choose the county executive committee, which in turn elects officers, including the county chair. After the 2020 election, the executive committee members and officers became solely focused on re-litigating the 2020 election. If you disagreed with them or doubted the utility of the exercise, you would quickly be called a RINO. Frustrations grew among Macomb conservatives, who generally did not think the election was stolen and were tired of hearing about it. They wanted to focus on winning in 2022 at the state, local and congressional levels while the chances seem good.

“Last night, everyone who was focused on winning the election in 2022 had been pushed over the edge,” said Roe. “Fed-up activists and elected officials joined together to remove the Executive Committee and officers from office and replace them with a new group focused solely on winning in 2022 and not on the past.” The event, which was raucous, also unified people who have been political adversaries for years but understood that the current path of the county party would lead to disunity and defeat. . . .

. . . Macomb’s new county leadership is not by any means anti-Trump—it is just unwilling to be stuck obsessing over a lost election.

“We have all the opportunity in the world to win a lot of races and to govern according to our conservative populist values, but you cannot accomplish anything if all you talk about is what happened in 2020 and try to re-litigate it,” said Roe. “The people who lost always presented themselves as the ‘most pro-Trump’ and are the same as those who sit in the front of church and try to make certain that everyone sees them,” said Roe. But Roe said they also have no experience in winning elections.

“Their life is nothing but virtue-signaling how much more MAGA they are than you,” he said. “It’s old and everyone has had enough. . ."

. . . In 2020, Joe Biden carried Michigan by more than 150,000 votes. Last week, at his Michigan rally, the former president began the rally by saying, “The presidential election was rigged and stolen, and because of that, our country is being destroyed.”

Grassroots activists have a way of showing us what is happening within a party long before the first ballots are cast. What happened in Macomb is evidence that the party is ready to move on—not necessarily beyond Trump, but certainly beyond 2020."

First of all, it makes no difference whether you are supporting Trump in '24, DeSantis or some other as yet unknown dark horse non-RINO (please God, any of those). The fact remains that what Trump stated in the pull quote is correct. The greatest crime in American history, which resulted in the death of the republic as founded, cannot be swept under the rug. For this Jamie Roe and others like him to insist we "not re-litigate the past" is both clueless and dangerous. First, it's clueless because the only reason Joe Biden "carried" Michigan by more than 150,000 votes was because of the in-your-face shenanigans in Wayne County and other Democrat-controlled districts that dumped ballots that stole the presidency and quite probably a Senate seat from John James. We may be keyed up and fired up for this November and beyond, but that in no way means that the Dems will be sitting on their two left hands.

Second, and more importantly, it's dangerous because to insist we move on from 2020 is to both further the big lie that that election was totally above board and that Joe Biden was legitimately elected. Worse, it signals the Democrats that not only what they did was okay, but that it's acceptable by our side that American elections can be corrupted to banana republic levels, or worse.

I'm sorry but. . . THAT. CANNOT. BE. ALLOWED. TO. STAND.

Yes, I get it. We are facing existential threats to ourselves, our children and our future both at home and abroad. But do I have to remind this Roe schmuck that the skyrocketing prices, gasoline and food shortages that are just over the horizon, civil unrest, a migrant invasion in the millions, political censorship and persecution and a potential nuclear war in Europe with Russia, Chinese expansionism and all the rest of it is because the 2020 election was stolen?

To the Deep State, the Democrat Party and their flunkies in the GOP-e - all of whom are in service to a globalist vision that sees America prostrate and/or destroyed - nothing is going to stand in their way, certainly not elections. Especially now that they know that they can get away with stealing them. More hateful than that is wearing the moldering skin-suit of truth and justice while sliming anyone who calls them out on it as a traitor or insurrectionist. Roe and others who say move on only embolden and legitimize them.

In practical political terms vis a vis the issues affecting us in the here and now, yes we can absolutely kick the living shit out of the Democrats on the mind, body and soul rape of our children with this transexual psychosis, and we should. Ditto on Jive Kampf crackpot racialism, the war on our energy independence and concomitant building of a mass grave to the 12th century via the Green New Death, and on and on and on.

But I am never going to forget and certainly never going to forgive the Democrats and far too many in the GOP who stabbed us in the heart in 2020 and then again on January 6th, where there are scores of innocent citizens still being held in the Garland Archipelago awaiting their turn in a kangaroo court. Whether this Jamie Roe and others like him realize it or not, that situation is on the ballot this November and in 2024. And it's an existential issue from whence everything else we are suffering flows. To wit, what sort of a society and government are we going to have or, worse, tolerate?

17 to insist we move on from 2020 is to both further the big lie that that election was totally above board and that Joe Biden was legitimately elected. Worse, it signals the Democrats that not only what they did was okay

Worse yet, it signals to the embedded administrative state that overthrew the 2020 election and corrupted the 2018 midterms that the voters are not going to take revenge.

We are way past needing "fair elections", or any moderate form of justice. America needs revenge, against the intelligence community, the DOJ/FBI, the deep-seated ticks of marxism in academia and, most of all, the teachers unions funding all the foul Democrat races and promoting so many evil school policies.

They need a healthy dose of the power of and. Yeah, focus on winning - especially at the state and local level. More important, focus on winning *correctly* with actual conservatives and no limp-wristed Dem-in-sheep's-clothing lickspittles. That needs to be done, but ignoring the election theft - including in their own state - will make a victory focus irrelevant.

Why bother finding and fielding good candidates if the elections system is broken? It doesn't matter if you find Christ himself, resurrected as candidate for office, if he can't win because the game is rigged. The platform counts and that platform needs to be all about energy, border control and elections hygiene. Start local, where they are starting. But don't pretend the election theft didn't happen, or you'll never win again because you'll just be neutralized. Where real steps toward elections fairness have been taken - Ohio and Florida, for example - the right side tends to win. Don't ignore it.

And, if they choose not to steal them or fail to do so, they can just subvert them, at least at the national level. This is why I hope DeSantis - who I agree is the strongest candidate right now - does not win. The deep state is in charge and if the president is some kind of pro-American subversive, he will be stymied. Trump demonstrated that the presidency is a false prize. Win or lose, it doesn't matter nearly as much as it should on paper. Locally and at the state level, however, that is a very different story.

47 I agree, JJ.

Since we can't turn back time (I wish), we cannot forget how we got to such a sorry condition and that begins with securing the integrity of the vote for the upcoming election and beyond.

That is a very minimal basic step one.
If you believe the election was stolen, you can't be against such measures. You actively want them taken, to give us a chance to force change and get the worst of the destruction of the US and Middle/Working classes by the Democrats stopped.

If you believe the election was not stolen, you should still be in favor of securing the integrity of the vote. If Biden and the Democrats won honestly, why would a clear accounting of the vote make any difference at all? It wouldn't.

So, that is step one. At the same time, step two, that is once we've achieved power because the vote is honest and secure. Have all the things, laws, bills, etc, in hand and ready to go on day one.
These are not mutually exclusive.
Sheesh, these idiots are supposed to be professionals.

It is. EO-based rule is a bad approach, made worse by the realities of the deep state. If a good president uses the EO pen to work around Congress, it will be undone promptly upon the new administration. This is precisely what happened with Biden's flurry of pre-packaged EOs on his first day in office,

If a bad president uses the EO pen to push further than anyone would put up with, that will largely stand. Reverse it or not, it won't matter because the deep state agencies will just keep on keepin' on. The federal government is hopelessly broken and the agencies need to be torn down and we need to return to the spoils system for the bureaucracy.

Not to mention that fair application of law is impossible because the law is so broad and so internally contradictory, with punishments so variable, that it can only be used as a weapon. Everyone commits felonies every day, just by living life. When the state turns its hungry eyes to you, you will indeed find that you're a lawbreaker. It could be incidental or deliberate targeting, but it could happen at any time and hangs over everyone in this country like the Sword of Damocles.

There is no such thing as a "law-abiding citizen" anymore. It can't be done. There are peaceable citizens and non-peaceable. The law has nothing to do with it.

60 The mask issue has deeper roots in the unraveling of faith in the law than Mr. Paine suggests. The mandate was a fake law in that it was an improper executive edict - while it may seem corrosive to some to have the judiciary weigh on such matters, it is our system's design. 62 56 If the podcasters are right (and I think they are), Trump runs and wins in 2024. What then? The entire administrative state in D.C. is dead-set against him, as is the Uniparty (who would normally staff the cabinet jobs and senior administrative jobs). And, after 2020, Democrats went after the livelihoods of anyone who worked for Trump, including trying to get his lawyers disbarred.

It has, but it isn't merely failure on their part. It was active abdication. The Congress outsourced its duties to the executive branch and with every enabling act they signed, they pushed us further down the road to perdition. It wasn't failure to act by Congress that got us here, it was their deliberate acts of abdication.

71 No one seems to have noticed that when we have partisan judges making laws and then others unmaking them, the respect for the law tumbles. One cannot have a society where the law intrudes on virtually every aspect of life, and is constantly changing. When people see arbitrary laws thrown around and thrown away, they start to see the laws themselves as suspect.

Posted by: Thomas Paine at April 20, 2022 07:48 AM (5kI0z)

------

This is true and an excellent point. Unfortunately the nation started down this rabbit hole a long, long time ago. To quote Ayn Rand once more on the destructiveness & danger of non-objective, arbitrary "laws":

"An objective law protects a country’s freedom; only a non-objective law can give a statist the chance he seeks: a chance to impose his arbitrary will -- his policies, his decisions, his interpretations, his enforcement, his punishment or favor -- on disarmed, defenseless victims."

72 I would think that yoking Election Hygiene (i love that turn of phrase) to a perennially aggrieved progessive like Bernie Sanders or whoever, could be an interesting move.

Begin to shift the rhetorical landscape away from Red vs. Blue or Right vs. Left, two thoroughly meaningless distinctions in the age of the Uniparty, and towards People vs. Entrenched Aristocracy. Essentially an ecumenical populism. The core message would be, "we can't even begin to have actual politics, allowing the electorate to guide the course of state, when a cabal of corrupt shadowy figures is allowed to install whoever they like into positions of power".

The election was not stolen from Trump. It was stolen from Everybody.

74 On the crime front it is NOT a surprise to ANYONE, including Democrat officeholders, that crime has gone up with their anti-policing and pro illegal immigration policies.

This is an intended affect. Why? So that they can claim their is an emergency and seize more power.

In the past this hurt them at the polls - a lot of Republican success in the 70s and 80s were promises to crack down on crime...but the left believes it controls the media sufficiently now that can't be repeated - that LIVs will believe the increases in crime are due to racism, or income inequality or whatever the left wants to claim the cause is.

76 I actually understand - even if I disagree with - the impulse to say "2020 is over, let it go."

Anyone paying the slightest bit of attention knows that the election was stolen (or, at least, that there are very legitimate reasons to have concerns which have never been thoroughly investigated), that the government media complex then proceeded to gaslight an entire nation, and that Joe Biden should not be President.

The vast majority of Americans are *not* paying the slightest bit of attention, and still (despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary) believe what the people on the news tell them.

Politically, people are afraid that, if the true corruption and theft is revealed, the American people will either say "see, it doesn't matter if I vote" and just stay home (being secure enough to not care about "all that"), or that the real shooting will start. Either of those is a bad outcome.

That said - the truth is better than a lie, and freedom is worth fighting for (thus why I don't agree, just understand)

Right. The other possibility - and this is what I suspect Bill Barr's position was - is that the corruption is so deep and so broad that if exposed, even in one corner of the government, it will cause a crisis of confidence so extreme that the entire system could fall. Maybe that leads to shooting or maybe it doesn't, but it does lead to the end of the federal government and possibly federalism in general (e.g., a breakup of the country or its conversion into a fully centralized dictatorship under someone less dirty than the people there now).

I wonder, had Reagan and GW (Daddy Bush was a DIABLO before it was cool) played "tit for tat" with regard to regulation, sue-and-settle, and so forth, if this could have been prevented.

Imagine the NRA suing the ATF over, for instance, the Assault Weapons Ban, and the AG "settling out of court" to remove it. Or imagine the gasoline companies suing back when corn ethanol was mandated and the AG refusing to defend the mandate.

Then imagine the FedGov issuing regulations on abortion providers. "No, we're not restricting abortion. We're making sure it's sufficiently safe."

Make the Democrats squeal over the stuff, and then say, "OR, we could return all this power that is rightly the legislature's back to the legislature. ALL OF IT. No more 'Executive Agencies.'"

Maybe, maybe if Trump wins in 2024 with DeSantis as his VP and then DeSantis wins in 2028 - maybe we could do something like that and see some real progress. Make them lie, for once, in the bed they've made.

129 So Biden may think about not ending Title 42. His puppeteers are still accomplishing record-smashing illegal immigration. It's going on now. Title 42 or no Title 42.

Let's be honest. Biden doesn't think about anything other than ice cream and how little girls smell.

His handlers realize the political benefit they can get by keeping Title 42 and then just saying "well, there are just so *many*, we're doing our best!"

Because LIVs are largely oblivious and will believe it.

I would prefer nullification. Nullification ends one of three ways:
1. The states capitulate
2. The feds capitulate
3. There's a civil war

Nullification is the only approach I can think of that doesn't jump directly through door number three. It's a possible outcome, and perhaps even a likely one. It isn't the only possible outcome, though.

155 Part of election corruption is the largest, bluest counties around major cities in swing states are always the last to count their ballots.

They literally wait to see the margins they need to overturn election results, and then they get their counts in. And whaddayaknow, the Democrat squeaked it out just as the last ballots are counted.

Republican county clerks in Michigan and every swing state need to adopt a short and sweet mantra: You first, Wayne County. Do not release your vote tallies until Wayne County's results are in. If that won't be for days, see you in days.

If the public and media want to howl about it, let them pressure the blue counties who use this tactic as part of the rigging. Force them to get adequate staff and equipment to do their damn jobs on election night.

Prior to rules changes, I agree with you. But a rules change would help tremendously and it is appalling that it wasn't done at least thirty years ago when it became possible. It would be simple:
1. Precinct sends "count beginning" message to the SoS
2. Count proceeds until completed
3. Precinct sends "ready to report" message to the SoS
4. After *all* precincts have checked in, the SoS sends "report results" message to the precincts
5. The precincts transmit results to the SoS

Posted by: Joe Mannix (Not a cop!) at April 20, 2022 08:03 AM (DU+/6)

I don't know. I think reality gives us and hand in the fight against corruption. And that is the fact that China is freely bribing both politicians and others of Our Betters.

Charges of treason or corruption, insurrection, what have you could be pretty easily established if Senator X took money from China and then worked to over throw a duly elected President, or helped send factories to China, etc. Or a general giving China our plans secretly, etc.

In fact, a fair amount of our overseas allies were also pushing the removal of Trump, etc, etc. Not to mention the Ukraine and Russia both.

It could be open season on anyone coordinating with a foreign power against a duly elected gov't.

That "limits" the scope of perceived corruption to traitors and the treasonous.

1 - If that happens (and it is at least as likely as 3), we're worse off than before. Any illusion or vestige of the States being semi-autonomous entities will be gone.

2 - About as likely as me finding a winning Powerball ticket on the ground. Technically possible, but it won't happen - too many have too much invested and too much to lose.

3 - I give this about a 50% chance of happening anyway, and it's far better an outcome than the next most likely option.

Secession does not *have* to lead to CW2.0 - it's possible (okay - probable), but not necessary. And at least then there's a much lesser chance of the State(s) in question "just" backing down, although losing would still be a possibility, of course.

172 Aside from his numerous policy accomplishments which for some reason get overlooked by many but are more than any Republican president accomplished in 8 years in my lifetime and got him 75 million votes in his re-election win, yes win, perhaps his most significant accomplishment was ripping the mask of US politics and culture in a way that can't be unseen.

The left has been completely exposed, from the media to culture to social media to the schools to rigged elections to corrupt and to the very real nature of the deep state. Some of us knew this before Trump. After Trump the entire world knows it whether they admit it or not. No politician in my lifetime fought harder against incredible opposition and produced. Nobody. Ergo, I have no issue exploring and attempting to fix the fraud and electoral integrity issues. But that's for troops on the ground to do. There has been a lot done, and still more that needs to be accomplished. But making it seem, or literally making it your raison d'etre will lead to nothing but a punishing defeat. It seems to be almost a narcissistic obsession with Trump, and frankly it's tiresome for a lot of voters. The absolute failure of Democrats has succeeded in creating a very large coalition of voters who seek to defeat them. They want someone to bring them together, around the issues and an agenda that most of us can agree on. This constant obsession on fighting yesterdays battles and making this a grudge match not only divides the electorate, but makes people apathetic. That latter factor will result in lower become totals, and that serves no one. Create a vision for the future people can rally around. Have a plan and articulate how it will be carried out. Leave the division to Democrats

196 Not far from me is an 18 foot bridge that failed on a state route. With my state district represented by the chairman of the state House transportation committee, they expect the expedited repair to take 13 months .. for a two lane 18ft bridge
Meanwhile the load on alternate routes has caused an additional bridge to fail and another to be closed, lest it fail with the resultant load from the obvious diversion.

… and this is under mostly the Trump rules

What makes it take so long are considerations for the impact on the fish in the creek during and after the construction, the fact the bridge is in an historic district, the Army Corp of Engineers since the creek dumps into a nearby river .. then add in the state DEP and the federal EPA.

211 It's utterly imperative we not move on from a stolen presidential election just because it's inconvenient in whatever manner. It was perhaps the biggest political crime since the country's founding. Because it happened. It's real. They did it. Biden sits in the WH illegitimately. That's pretty big stuff. But I keep this in mind. It's 4/20/22. At this point, there is nothing we can do about that now. We must move forward and move heaven and earth to make sure it never happens again. And once elected, make those who took part pay for what they did, state by state. We 1) need to win 2) prosecute to the fullest extent of the law for 2020 3) put election integrity at utmost priority. All things can be accomplished without fracturing as a party. It will be interesting to see the reaction when D'Souza's 2000 Mules documentary is released. The movie is based on documented evidence gathered by True the Vote that claims in the 6 swing states that turned the election days after election day more than 5 million illegal votes were harvested, way more than enough to turn the election.

If you view Trump's claims as sour grapes then I can see why you would be tired of them. If you see them as a warning that if something isn't done your vote is meaningless I'm not sure how it couldn't be one of the top issues.

256 Prior to rules changes, I agree with you.
Posted by: Joe Mannix

You need to add:
5. No ballots will be counted after final count transmitted.

261 257 Okay I agree they stole the election . I don't want to sweep it under the rug but what is the plan besides just repeating that fact? I would think it would include some type of voting integrity legislation that would require Republicans being elected to pass. Those that are tired of the same stolen refrain should acknowledge that plan and those with the one note complaint should offer their plan on how to prevent it happening in the future. That said this is the political solution. Admittedly I'm past that IYKWIM.

It's happening at the state level.

Emergency powers repealed in PA that gave the governor authority to muck with a lot of stuff. The entire MI election being declared invalid by a state court. Rule changes in TX, GA, AZ. Investigations of Fulton and Maricopa county.

People keep looking to the federal government for state government issues, for some reason.

Presidents don't have any control over the election process for president in the 50 states. Bug and feature. He warned about the mass mail in voting throughout his 2020 campaign and he was exactly right and more people should have taken it seriously then.

What Trump can do and is doing is alerting everyone to what actually happened and what will happen again unless action is taken at the state level by us to make sure it doesn't happen again.

It doesn't matter if you support DeSantis, Trump or Bozo the Clown, without election integrity nothing else matters. If your vote can be rendered meaningless then there are no elections only installations.

----
The first problem is calling it a "Philly". It's a cheesesteak.

As a lifelong (but now former) Philadelphian, the whiz thing is a complete mystery. I don't know when the name places started using it. In my youth, the "official" cheesesteak had either white American or mild provolone, nicely melted.

To be honest, the whiz steak is only good at 2:30 am after a bar crawl. The grease and the whiz mix together to form a potent hangover blocker. Or so I've been told......

I'm reminded of how lots of companies with truck fleets put governors on the gas pedals back in the '70s. You couldn't go faster than 55 (okay, maybe 56 downhill and with a tail wind). This was in the days of the national double-nickel speed limit. It lasted a while though: The Ryder truck I rented in '97 to move to Denver was limited to 55.

The idea being, you'll burn less fuel at 55 as opposed to 70. And you will. But time also governs money. That's why you don't see those governors on vehicles any more.

Wahlberg, being a part of the Hollywood system, is completely desensitized to course, vulgar language. I'm much the same; I can put it up with it a bit more, but I don't find it "entertaining" in the least. Film makers of the past had no trouble telling very good stories without resorting that cheap gimmick to make their characters sound "tough"; I see it as much like Michael Bay's overreliance on big 'splosions. Trump, as de facto leader of the party should be tied into that process. Guess what? A lot of the heavy lifting is still being done by outside groups. If you look at the reasoning for the actual ruling, I believe this is the one that the SCOTUS will uphold. I although I don't agree with all of their decisions on this topic, they have been quite consistent. If there is some plausible claim that the Feds have authority over the people affected - such as with service members - then they have allowed mandates. When there is no plausible claim for such authority (such as claiming that the CDC is a regulatory agency with broad powers, rather then just an advisory agency), then they have thrown the regs out.

I agree, and there were other things as well. Trump let the media kill the Hunter laptop story, and said nothing when he could have been shouting about it every night for the last week of the election. He never said a word, it felt like people like you and me knew more about it that last week than he did. So many missed opportunities.

340 It's happening at the state level.

Partly that's because it involves a Federal election. Sure states can run them how they want. However, the elections have to be fair. I have to believe a lot of Federal laws were violated. The generic civil rights violation claim would work. I'm less about new laws because the old laws were violated with impunity. I'm for a large number of prosecutions and jail time.

You are singing a song dear to my heart! We still have three branches of government, but today they are the Executive, the Judiciary, and the Bureaucracy (which considers itself independent of the other two). All real decisions about power and policy are made by one of those three. Both houses of Congress are just for show, which is why not much will change even if conservatives sweep this fall's elections.

378 That Hunter Biden letter to his awful father is interesting. Hunter bitterly resents Joe's constant references to Jill "saving our lives" after the accident that killed Neila Biden. Hunter says that he and Beau were forced to go along publicly with the fake Joe and Jill story because Joe told them if they didn't, they'd be betraying him. Hunter says that "Mom mom and Val" (referring to his aunt Val, and presumably his grandmother) were the ones who really saved him and Beau, and that Joe never gives them any credit, because he prefers to push the fairy tale about Jill.

It's interesting to know how Hunter really feels about Jill. It would also be interesting to know if Hunter and Beau knew, or suspected, that the affair began before their mother's death, and may have been the reason for her death. But whether they do or not, it's clear that the Bidens have been lying to the American public for decades about who and what they really are, and that Hunter Biden and the others have been willingly taking part in a scripted (by Joe) performance for the cameras, while secretly seething in private about all the lies they tell on Joe's behalf.

If they mandate without a law and arrest or take anyone to court will they not make that 'anyone' rich beyond the dreams of Crocus?

414 So, you're telling me that Hunter banging Jill was a grudge fuck?
____________

I know that's a popular joke around here, but there's no evidence (or none that I know of, anyway) that those two were ever together sexually. Hunter probably would bang anybody, but I kind of doubt that Jill would do it. She decided early in her life to make Joe her focus. He was her golden ticket to status and fame and wealth, and she probably wasn't going to do anything to screw that up. She popped out one kid, which she apparently didn't really want (according to Ashley) to satisfy Joe. And she has gone along with every lie that Joe has scripted for her. Jill is a weird, cold (again according to Ashley) woman, but not all that interesting. The dynamics between Joe and his sons, who apparently revered their mother Neila, is more interesting, IMO. How much did they know, or suspect, about their father's role in their mother's death?

415 Good morning to the Horde.

I read Zito's article. I found nothing objectionable. Yes, the election was stolen. However, these folks are focused on the fight in front of us.

Do we forget? No. Do we gnash our teeth and shake our fists and refuse to move on? Some do. Or, do we buckle down, resolved to avenge the theft by securing the victory in front of us by crushing the vile vicious corruption that pretends to lead our fair nation?

Put me in camp of remembering - and looking to crush our enemies.

424 I live in Macomb County. My husband and I were down in the dumps after the election but by March 2021 got fired up and went down to the Macomb GOP office. These are great people and like us believe the thing was stolen.... however.. this group of people BELIEVED that after Lindell's symposium that Trump would be put back in office by August 2021... THEY REALLY BELIEVED this... I looked at them and said I was with them on the stolen election but there was no way that Trump was going to be put back in office, that granting every thing they believe to be proven true that there was no mechanism for it... we went to a few more meetings after that, but every meeting was a bitch session and they were not moving the ball forward on anything. I totally agreed with them on everything but they were focused on something that couldn't happen. It was super frustrating. I went there after seeing the guy on War Room encouraging everyone to become precinct chairs, I went there fired up but let frustrated as hell.

425 Well, JJ, I think the election was probably stolen, too, but I have no proof of that and I haven't seen proof from anybody else, least of all from Donald Trump. Yeah, there were many fishy things that occurred on election night, but those do not amount to proof of anything.

After Biden was installed, there was no way in hell that he would be removed and Trump put into office. No. Damn. Way!

Trump has been beating a dead horse for well over a year. I think he has blown any hope of being elected in 2024 with his futile efforts to overturn the 2020 election. That's why my hopes are on Ron DeSantis for 2024.

430 The letter from Hunter is more damning than it even appears on first glance. The "chain of conscience", rambling, grammatically incorrect and wholly incoherent nature of it stand in stark contrast to Hunter's career of earning hundreds of thousands of dollars per month in highly placed positions in important companies all around the world. We're essentially talking about a guy with a resume that would make him "Fortune 500 CEO" material, that can't even write a letter to his Dad that makes coherent, grammatical sense.

Wouldn't you expect that a guy who is actually qualified for those jobs could actually write a letter or an email that could pass a basic grade school English exam?

Is it possible that a guy who can't even write in his own native language could still end up in these positions?

Or are we literally looking at stark, incontrovertible proof that he was not, as claimed, qualified for any of these jobs, and that he was kept around simply for his relationship to Joe?

The world wonders.
