Re: border collie
Ah yes, the eternal question. Does the dog love it, or hate it? We had one that was that way with the vacuum cleaner and pressure washer. We sort of think she liked it, but there's no way to be sure. Especially when "like" and "love" presents itself in such different ways with things we know she likes (canned food, favorite toys, etc.) I sort of think that dog hates that song. I was expecting this to be the wokest school yet. It was not. It was surprisingly normal. One of the things I check on the tours is the posters in public spaces. When #2 son was three years old my aunt and uncle had a rescued fawn on their farm. For whatever reason the fawn took a disliking to little Timmy. Every time he would step out of the house the faun would attack him jumping on him and trying to stomp him. Some months later we were at a movie theater with the kids watching Snow White. During the part where she is lost in the forest and the animals come to help her, Timmy suddenly yells out, "Look out Snow White! There's a deer and he's RIGHT BEHIND YOU!!" In a very frantic voice. Swan is beautiful. One year at work we did slideshows and one persons was lovely footage they had from getting paid to monitor swan migration in I think Iowa. They also had a funny story, the university had a pond with swans and the research group once talked them into having the local species instead of the tamer European imports. That did not last long at all as the native species were way too aggressive towards the students and visitors. Unfortunately I don't remember the names of the two species.

Another one that will blow your mind?
Price how much you can realistically sell the cars in your driveway for right now. Don't get too excited, because that $10,000 200k car is going to be what you're shopping around when you do. Mid 2000s cars with relatively low miles are 15-20k. Holy crap. Posted by: Moron Robbie - nothing's built, nothing's back, nothing's better at April 07, 2022 09:40 PM (Dr/bt) 310
That motherfucker is costing me a king's ransom for the new kitchen. I can't believe how much cabinets went up, well good ones anyway. It was the family business, I did it for years, and probably did well over 200 kitchens in my time, and I'm frigging blown away. My father retired, but my brother is still in it, and even at dealer cost it's staggering, and there is a 10% increase coming in a few days, so I had to get it ordered by tomorrow. My brother priced it all out tonight. I don't even know how people are going to afford anything at this point. I'm convinced this fucking demented husk has been dead for years and satan is wearing his meat suit.

Actually it's not that simple. The Great Reset was happening regardless, and we were lucky Trump was in office instead of Hillary (who was supposed to be) so that we've got a sliver of hope for the republic.
We are supposed to be a lot more like Australia right now, and I guarantee that is infuriating to the people who worked for decades to get all of this in motion. Thank God for Trump. Literally. The infuriating part is that I diligently save a bit of money every month for the families cars. I have a separate savings account for my children, with the intention of buying used cars for each of them and them paying for any associated costs.

Joel Barry, the managing editor of The Babylon Bee (which has been censored for truthful statements about sex and gender), put it correctly when he said, Most teachers arent themselves pedophiles, but they are working in a pedophilic system designed to make kids more exploitable both politically and sexually. They arent grooming kids for a specific pedophile, necessarily. Theyre grooming them for a system of pedophilia which in the long run will result in horrors we cant comprehend. Find your courage and stop it. Posted by: rhennigantx at April 07, 2022 09:49 PM (yrol0) 336

Posted by: Notsothoreau - move forward at April 07, 2022 09:43 PM (5HBd1) Sometimes, sometimes not, it depends on the house, and if you feel like acting like the contractor and hiring good subs to do the work. If you buy a house that somebody is flipping it's going to be a shiny turd with crap materials. Beauty WILL only be skin deep. Acting like the contractor gives you control over the materials. most times you'll save money, but even if you break even you'll have a way better finished product. I'm sure y'all know this... a "house" is not worth shit unless the property it's on is worth something more than said house.
A half million dollar house on the corner of ambulance drive and dump truck lane isn't really worth shit... if you have to live in it an deal with that. People always forget the location and look at the house. There's a small sub-division near town with just barely sub-million dollar homes. It's a shithole. Right off a highway. High crime.
