The Morning Report - 3/17/22

noflyzonegap.jpg

Good morning, kids. Thursday and so the turducken of Haile Selassie stuffed inside Mahatma Ghandi and wrapped with Winston Churchill - President Volodymyr Zelensky - made his pitch to Congress via Zoom/Skype. Invoking everything from Pearl Harbor to 9/11, he begged and pleaded for America to basically start World War 3 to preserve his precious Democracy.

Kind of ironic that Zelensky's description of Putin's invasion of Ukraine sounds exactly like the Democrats description of what happened in that very building on January 6th, 2021. But no matter. There are far too many people in that desecrated edifice - desecrated by the presence and criminality of 99% of the politicians, not by buffalo headdress guy and certainly not Ashli Babbit or Roseanne Boyland - itching to send American troops into the Ukraine for the purposes of liberating a threatened people yearning for Jeffersonian democracy and saving their asses from the American people this November for destroying their heir lives and livelihoods. But mostly to save their asses from the American people this November for destroying their lives and livelihoods.

I've made the case as best as I can that despite Putin having no excuse for waging a bloody war of aggression/conquest, the fact that the Davos Global Reset Mafia are all in against him means something really stinks, since they are soulless fiends perhaps worse than Putin. But, you see, if I even dare to make this point, I'm a Russian stooge spreading disinformation and on the side of an evil Russian madman. Joey Soft-Serve himself called Putin a "war criminal." That after flip-flopping on that term like a tuna on the deck of a pitching trawler.

Well then, if Putin's a "war criminal," and anyone who gives him aid and comfort is the same, then what about this?

"Russia's top state-controlled energy company is set to cash in on a $10 billion contract to build out one of Iran's most contested nuclear sites as part of concessions granted in the soon-to-be-announced nuclear agreement that will guarantee sanctions on both countries are lifted . . .

. . . "We, of course, would not sanction Russian participation in nuclear projects that are part of resuming full implementation of the JCPOA," State Department spokesman Ned [Ryerson] Price confirmed on Tuesday, referring to the original 2015 nuclear accord. Russia's foreign ministry made a similar statement on Tuesday, saying that "additions were made to the text of the future agreement on JCPOA restoration to ensure that all the JCPOA-related projects, [especially] with Russian participation, as well as Bushehr [nuclear power plant], are protected from negative impact of anti-Russian restrictions" by the United States and European Union.

The removal of these sanctions will provide Moscow's Rosatom company with a critical source of revenue as American and European sanctions crush Russia's economy in response to its unprovoked invasion of Ukraine. The concessions to Moscow have generated frustration on Capitol Hill, with top Republican leaders accusing the Biden [junta] of weakening penalties on Russia to secure an agreement with Iran. . .

. . . The official further confirmed that the United States will "not sanction Russian participation in nuclear projects that are part of resuming full implementation of the JCPOA," such as work on Iran's civilian nuclear program. "The United States will take actions as necessary to ensure that U.S. sanctions do not apply to the implementation of JCPOA nuclear-related projects and activities by non-U.S. individuals and entities," the official said.

R-U-F-K-M?! Joe Biden, via Ron Klain controlling the geriatric spasticated lips, calls Vladimir Putin a war criminal, flaming assholes on both sides of that fetid aisle are calling for Putin's scalp delivered on an MX warhead as they cry a river of glycerine tears because of some spiel from a guy as well as the nation he leads that together ain't exactly squeaky clean kosher. But then Needlenose Ned Ryerson Price informs us that we're letting the Russians broker a deal for us that gives them billions of dollars AND paves the way for Iran to get the bomb as well as billions more to fund "tourism in all its forms" as Yasser "that's my baby" Arafat once accidentally on purpose malaproped.

If I were Biden and everyone who did the Pelosi Seth Brundle Hand Jive while listening to Zelensky, I would not be using the term "war criminal" so freely. While a mushroom cloud may not appear over Kyev, this insanity means that the prospect of one appearing over Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Dubai or Riyadh is that much more real. And if none of that grabs you, inflated food and gas prices will be the least of your worries considering they might not be available at all.

For two years and continuing until today, there have been interruptions in commodities for sale. A number of factors contribute to this stuttering availability of commercial goods. Labor shortages in picking, packing, processing, and transportation led to gaps on some grocery shelves. Delayed imports of raw materials for canning, bottling, and bagging due to shutdowns in countries of origin will likely continue, especially now that China is locking down whole cities again.

Because of recent crop failures and lackluster harvests, many regional grocery warehouses, which usually have about 18 months' worth of packaged and frozen food in stock, are practically empty according to a friend whose family owns a large chain of stores. Low stocks of livestock feed and hay due to drought are reducing meat, poultry, milk, and egg production in some areas.

Monica Showalter's excellent article the other day—Biden is about to get caught flat-footed on another crisis: Ukraine war–generated global food shortages— examines the impact that Russia's war on Ukraine is having and is expected to have on global grain and fertilizer availability, as well as food production.

Besides the drought hitting the mid-plains and potentially causing the abandonment of this year's winter wheat (that's for flour) crop, the La Niña system is expected to bring above-average rains to the eastern and southeastern parts of the US, potentially delaying planting and harvest. If California continues to value a practically nonexistent smelt over its people, there will be little water for the Sacramento-area rice farmers. They've already pulled down avocado and almond orchards due to restricted water allocations elsewhere in the state. . .

. . . Already we are hearing about food rationing in various places in Europe. We've seen some of that during the worst of the pandemic shortages, but it's been managed by local vendors. It's likely to get much worse before it gets better.

Let's Go Brandon's expertise lies in making the worst possible decision given any type of choice and regardless of the number of options available...that much is painfully obvious. We can rest assured that, when the government wakes up to this problem, it will be too late.

The demands of equity will ensure that those at the head of the food and farm assistance lines are the ones with the most victimhood points. Even if the food we are used to is available, the cost will be close to prohibitive for those on a budget. Also, it's very likely nothing will have been done in the meantime to secure our food stocks from the depredations of the export market. It will be another case of the political class waiting until the last minute and then going overboard trying to react.

The author goes on to urge Americans everywhere to not only stock up on long-lasting packaged staples, but to start growing food crops at home. If only there were a way to drill for your own oil and refine it in your basement. Of course, Merrick Garland in a face colander and dominatrix gear will come after you.

He is not a war criminal because he started a war, although technically a war of aggression is in fact a war crime.

I term him a war criminal because his war aims could have been without intentional attacks on unarmed civilians, also a war crime. The random targeting of civilian occupied areas, also a war crime.

The Stagflation of the 70s didn't fit well with accepted macroeconomic models of the time. In retrospect it was simple: oil prices.

When they go up significantly and quickly, they simultaneously increase the prices for everything else, while depressing economic activity. Supply chain problems are an added bonus.

In the 70s it was caused by the Arab embargoes. Today, it's a Biden Junta own goal.

71 This willy nilly tossing about the term "war criminal" is counter productive and pointless.

Bad things happen during war, and the term should be reserved for acts that are truly heinous and despicable.

The Junta took out a guy in Afghanistan that was delivering water, was that a "war crime."

And we've been periodically dropping bombs and droning people for the last twenty years all throughout the middle east.

But these are all "bad guys" and none of our bombs have ever killed civilians, every person we've killed was a straight-up terrorist.

If it wasn't so sad, it would be very comical.

Lindsay Graham is very secure in the believe that he is untouchable insofar as being voted out by the people of SC. It doesn't matter how angry he makes us, how utterly devoid of conservative principles he really has, how he lies, how his record and words show what he's really about. He knows his war chest at reelection time is massive. He knows, just like always, if he even gets challenges during a primary, it's usually a 10 person pile-on that dilutes their individual strength, wherein a run-off and his $war chest would ultimately finish them off, and even at that, our open primaries would allow D's to cross over and vote for this pig. He's arrogant. He believes he can crap on the voters of SC by any means and he's assured reelection regardless.

98 Not that anyone who needs to read this will, but here goes anyway:

To Whom It May Concern,

The loose money policies of the last 20 years are so are coming home to roost. Prices are going up, which means people have less. Interest rates are also going up, which means it is more expensive to borrow money - something people need to do more often due to prices going up.

It would be morally just for those who made and enacted said loose money policies to pay those costs. Alas, they are secure in their ivory towers - insulated from the results of their greed and shortsightedness. Instead, it is every day Americans who now all too often have to choose between food on the table or gasoline to go to work. It is the poorest among us who are worst affected, but those most likely to help them (the productive Upper-Middle Class for the most part) have less ability to do so because we are *also* feeling these negative effects.

While there is no single magic bullet, let me suggest that making the supply of energy more abundant (for example, by increasing domestic oil production), and reducing the tax burden on that productive class would be two major steps forward to help.

While the result is the same, the world didn't have some sudden mass-famine in the last 18 months. Unless this killer who slaughtered this couple was on bath salts, you won't convince me they weren't targeted because they were white. The media is fully culpable. The politicians and others who foment this black rage are fully culpable. The court systems who look the other way at the monsters they're creating and setting free are fully culpable. But since we're apparently living through a time when nobody can say a word about it without fearing for their lives, I guess it will never change. Long live St. George Floyd......

142 The talk about food shortages.... IMO another op. A lot of people stand to get rich on the presumption there will be food shortages. This type of thing doesn't happen overnight. Even during the plandemic you could find most anything, perhaps not at a particular time. Crops today are engineered to withstand pests, drought, poor soil and a host of other conditions. The only reason they would fail is due to some sort of intervention. Likewise the only reason a farmer would not plant a particular crop would be because he was paid not to.

Natural shortages due to climate or solar... no.

Man-made shortages due to arrogance... probably.

151 And as I keep saying, a stolen election is a bad omen, but if Joe was elected fairly then the nation is fucking doomed. I am less apocalyptical than these graveyard whistlers.

The whole reason why no GOP Congresscritter has breathed a public word about a stolen election, and why they are terrified to even mention the J6 political hostages is under the Established Narrative™ that any despite all of 2016's challenges to Trump's win; that questioning the election will cause people to doubt Our Government™ and allegedly bad things would then happen.

Ironically, it appears that instead of telling the world that the former United States is full of communists, activists, grifters and garden variety fuck-ups, its now advantageous to say - "yeah the election was stolen, we really aren't these people."

That was the subject of my morning walk and muse. In view of the massive amounts of money that is being thrown at these Global Efforts, whether is is trillions to be pissed away on anything CoViD related or ginning up a fake war in order to pipe tens of billions into the Food For Oil program grift that ended when the Party Military epically botched all things Afghanistan.

There is a growing cabal of globalists millionaires and billionaires who require a constant flow of Food For Oil programs. During Trump's four years, they went through a form of famine, now they are perceive themselves in a time of plenty and are doing all they can to redeem the lost grift.

The US is effectively crippled. The junta doesn't have a hope in hell of countering or even impeding Putin without full scale military intervention, which the gutless junta would never do on purpose. So why would Putin want Biden gone? Dropping whatever dirt he has would serve no purpose other than to galvanize sane Americans into taking their country back, recreating the American Hegemon that had sat astride the world making it say Uncle for half a century. No way Russia wants that.

224 The Reason Islam's So Keen on Hating Us
______________

Yep, "Religion of Peace" my ass.

Islam is about conquest and hatred. What kind of idiots (cough, George Bush, cough) think that conquest and hatred are about "peace"?

The only time muzzies are going to be peaceful is when they've established their worldwide caliphate and forced the rest of us to submit to their insane religion or die. Actually, they likely won't even be peaceful then, since the different branches of islam (sunni and shi'a) will continue to fight amongst themselves for dominance.

But let's keep lying about what islam really is, because that's been working out great for us so far, right? And let's keep importing more muzzies into western lands, because that's got to end peacefully, right?

237 Vmom-There are various translations that people read, for various reasons. The most important thing is having a Bible that you will read because it's comprehensible I like the New Revised Standard Version. It might also depend on what your church background is. Roman Catholics, for instance , consider some books as part of the canon that Protestants don't. It's good to have good introductions and notes so Bibles for RCs would have notes related to that faith tradition. Please consider getting a plan in reading through the Bible. They are available on the net. I think it's wonderful that you want to read through the Bible!

I think this is one of two factors. It wasn't just a whisper campaign, Lloyd Austin publicly announced that NATO had that "open-door policy" with regard to Ukraine. That was one big element.

The other, I suspect, was Kazakhstan. After the second Ukrainian color revolution in 2014, Putin said very clearly and very firmly that he would not permit any more color revolutions in what he views as his sphere of influence. This is why Russian invaded Kazakhstan last year and put it down. Color revolutions are the Western IC playbook.

I strongly suspect that this is really about two things, not one. Ukrainian ambitions to join NATO (and NATO's desire to have them join) are one, and the attempted Kazakh revolution is the other.

That is similar to asking "What gun should I buy".

But you did qualify the statement with "cover to cover" which is much different use case than "studying". For studying, I recommend the Amplified Bible because Hebrew/Greek doesn't translate well to English, but Amplified is horrible for daily reading.

Your denomination also effects the commentary Bibles. If you are a Reformed Dispensationalist (rejects Covenants), then Mac Arthur's Study Bible in either ESV or NKJV is good. If you want more of a Covenantal background, then clearly the Geneva Study Bible is the Go-To (ESV).

NAS and ISV are dated and composed by committees that included heretics. KJV is a memorization classic. If you want the royalty and majesty, then KJV.

KJV doesn't attempt to censure God. 1 Samuel 25:22 where the KJV keeps the "pisseth against the wall" phrase intact (Hebrew = "make water against the wall") everyone else makes it family friendly

BTW, he finished writing the third volume, on Leviticus, some months ago -- but the supply chain shortages prevented the publisher from acquiring the very high-quality paper they've insisted on.

However, in the meantime, he took the opportunity to write a smaller -- but complementary part of the set -- with presumably the high-quality paper able to be procured: "The Rational Passover Haggadah."

Sounds fascinating (had pre-ordered copies for myself and some friends): it started shipping and arrived in early March -- very cool, you read it right to left (the cover/pages, not the actual text).

271 Bear in mind, when reading a new testament, it should sound a little "weird", because the events they're chronicling are, let's face it, weird, and they are written by people from two thousand years ago from a completely different world and culture. Some translations try to sanitize the language and remove every vestige of the evangelists' cultural assumptions and their own personal amazement.

Savior cults and personal messiahs were a dime a dozen at that time. Part of what i love about the evangelists is that they make a real effort not to sound like they're hyping up some magic charlatan, but rigorously describing a series of events that actually happened.

I'm probably going to side with grammie on this one just on read-through. I recently bought a Christian Standard Bible ("He Reads Truth") at an and don't care for it much at all. I've come to the conclusion that I'm very much a traditionalist, though, and discovered that I kind of enjoy the KJV language.

Another that I like a lot is the New Oxford Annotated Bible, but I get the feeling it's not a Bible for Christians looking to get closer to God. I like it, but it feels very academic.

Go to a bookstore and open up your favorites (or the Psalms) and read some. Also notice if the pages are thin, or if there's bleed-through, etc. That CSB one I bought has really thin pages that I think hurt the readability.

New American Standard is very close to the original Greek and Hebrew, so much so that it can seem to have an awkward flow, but I go to it often. Seeing as how I've been saying that for some time I would agree.

However, I wouldn't discount a little payback from Putin as part of the equation. One of the primary sources for the Russia collusion hoax which did a lot of damage to Russia and to Putin and his pals personally was Ukraine. That is where much of the original dirt was gathered to frame Manafort and by extension Trump for working with Russia and to start the public whisper campaign.

Putin is a former KGB officer and knows this and knows how to use blackmail information to exact retribution. Ukraine has been used by both the west and Russia as a proxy to settle scores. Long before the color revolutions in Kazakhstan or here for that matter there was one we ran in Ukraine to take out Putin's pal.

Now Vlad holds the upper hand.

279 The state of the Ukraine war is...odd.

It appears that the Uke army is beaten. But the Russians don't want to go into the cities because it will increase their causalities and dramatically increase civilian causalities.

The Russian army controls the disputed territories, but absent a peace treaty they can't just call it a day and go home.

So it looks like Zelensky's strategy is to use the Uke civilian population/cities as bait to force Putin to get a lot of people killed, at least an order of magnitude more then to this point, to help the FNM get the West to intervene.

And I assume that the Russian strategy will be to then just destroy the cities with artillery - sending your own troops into them is folly (see Iraq).

That's it exactly. It's an ever-expanding and self-fulfilling Kafka trap -- or the physics of totalitarianism only possible in a decadently affluent and morally attenuated citizenry. That is, the food and gas shortages will produce more compliance than revolt, and the revolt will be treated as domestic terrorism and bring down on the heads of dissidents the most awesome machinery of intimidation in modern history. The US government and media and Big Tech -- soon entirely merged -- will represent a controlling power unlike any other. All those "armed citizens" will mean nothing next to its digital financial dominion. Look what they've done to a bunch of bystanders on January 6th -- right under the noses of Trump. Imagine what they can and will do if truly unleashed.

Considering the retards that run things in the West...

Putin does seem to have an advantage over his Western counterparts. One, Putin himself is probably one of the most wealthy men on the planet so he has FU money. Next, is that as an accomplished sociopath crime boss, people fear him like people under Xi fear Xi.

Putin can listen to advisors and also tell advisors to pound sand. Kalorama/Brussels is so conflicted with so many oligarch demands and so many opinions on how to destroy the economy and depopulate the earth that they can't manage a coherent strategy other than the Infant with a Firearm model.

No kidding. I think my cheapie Interlinear Bible is the only one that uses real paper as opposed to that sheer paper.

I love going to one hardbound Bible because I know where everything is. To the point where the book falls open to within a few pages of what I am looking for.

That said, I spend FAR more time using digital because of the immediate access to commentaries and dictionaries.
I have this cool free app on the mobile device that is a complete interlinear for both testaments. (though each verse requires its own page)

The curious thing to me is why Biden provoked this war. Putin has been very clear about what would be a trigger for him for a long time and yet Biden did it anyway.

Of course he's an incompetent moron but even he and his team of idiots had to know his constant teasing about allowing Ukraine into NATO was just waving a red flag under Putin's nose and yet he kept doing it.

360 The BLM was established in 1946, but its roots go back to the years after Americas independence, when the young nation began acquiring additional lands. At first, these lands were used to encourage homesteading and westward migration. The General Land Office was created in 1812 to support this national goal.

Over time, values and attitudes regarding public lands shifted, and Congress merged the GLO and another agency, the U.S. Grazing Service, creating the BLM.

Oh, BS. War with China is always "possible." There is a world of difference between "possible" and "imminent" and if it's the latter, then a couple thousand soldiers will not make a meaningful difference. Nothing about that makes sense unless we're going for "this is a down payment against you Reds if you so much as blink," which I doubt given that the CCP owns most of our government.

I smell a cover story. They're there for another reason - migrants for the Pacific islands, help designing or expanding their concentration camps, augmenting lost manpower because of the vax, etc.

373 It's safe to say that the events as presented by the great and powerful Z sound like J6 because they are meant to..in order to generate hatred for J6 and tar Trump supporters as nazis, and because the IC uses the same basic script every time. They don't do it because they're lazy, but to establish a false pattern, one that the public is "comfortable" with and will recognize as bad.

374 Of course he's an incompetent moron but even he and his team of idiots had to know his constant teasing about allowing Ukraine into NATO was just waving a red flag under Putin's nose and yet he kept doing it.

I suspect there is a lot more going on here than meets the eye and I'm not ruling out some "advice" he may have received from Davos.
Posted by: JackStraw at March 17, 2022 09:16 AM (ZLI7S)

we discussed this slightly in last night's ONT, with some input from a Russian source as to how Putin believes he can make the western powers back down. Intelligent men would see the danger and back down; but intensely stupid men blunder into wars because they can't imagine that their stupid plans won't work.

in August 1914, every Great Power was absolutely convinced that their opponents would back down, once they saw how seriously they were making a commitment to all-out war.

Posted by: Tom Servo at March 17, 2022 09:24 AM (evAgx)

375 Oh, BS.

This is why authors and screen writers use variations of the same plot. They have to give the people something they're comfortable with, bad guys that they can hate, and heroes they can comfortably love and cheer for.

MArk Bray also gave away the game a bit in the Antifa handbook, "nazi" and "fascist" were chosen as no one is sympathetic and no one cares how they are destroyed as long as they're destroyed.

Britain was reporting problems last fall with the shutdown of fertilizer plants there and other sites in Europe. Blame was placed on lack of truck drivers, the demand for gas from China, low product storage/warehousing levels, a major fire. Why does this seem so familiar & why isn't the U.S. better prepared?

435 You want to know what a "no-fly" zone looks like? I'll tell you. No-fly zones require AIR SUPREMACY, not just air superiority. Air superiority would be obtained the second we got involved, but SUPREMACY requires essentially unfettered access to the air over Ukraine, which means that we would need to employ SEAD and DEAD tactics to destroy all AA and SAM sites employed by Russia, which are all largely on the Russian and Belarussian sides of the border. SEAD and DEAD are more colloquially known as "wild weasel" tactics (see next)

Posted by: Goober at March 17, 2022 11:00 AM (Hgvgt)

436 You are all mostly familiar with that, right? It's where a tactical strike group consisting of a "bait" plane who's job is to purposely get shot at, and then two or more "kill" planes to take out the SAM site once it fires up it's radar with HARM munitions that hone in on the radar signal. What this means is that we would need to kill Russian military assets inside of Russian owned territory. This is absolutely REQUIRED in order to satisfy US and NATO doctrine for no-fly. You'd also be shooting down any Russian air assets sent in to defend the SAM sites. TL;DR, there is no way to enact a no-fly zone without committing acts of war against Russia and starting WWIII. I'll say it again, a no-fly zone means WWIII. Not "might" mean. WILL MEAN WWIII. You want nukes over Seattle? Because that's how you get nukes over Seattle.
