CDC: Gee, Maybe Young Men Might Be At Risk for Myocarditis From Covid Vaccinations Like Those Conspiracy Theorists We Pressured Internet Monopolies To Deplatform Accurately Claimed

I could swear this was a Conspiracy Theory That Would Get You Deplatformed just last week.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Wednesday said younger males should consider waiting longer between doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines in order to reduce the risk of a rare form of heart inflammation.
In an update on its website, the agency suggested an eight-week interval between the first and second doses of a primary mRNA vaccine schedule.

The "mRNA COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective at the FDA-approved or FDA-authorized intervals, but a longer interval may be considered for some populations. While absolute risk remains small, the relative risk for myocarditis is higher for males ages 12-39 years, and this risk might be reduced by extending the interval between the first and second dose," the agency said.

How long has this been denied for?

The CDC cited studies in adolescents and adults showing the small risk of myocarditis associated with vaccines might be reduced and peak antibody responses and vaccine effectiveness may be increased with an interval longer than four weeks.
"Extending the interval beyond 8 weeks has not been shown to provide additional benefit. There are currently no data available for children ages 11 years and younger. Therefore, an 8-week interval may be optimal for some people ages 12 years and older, especially for males ages 12--39 years," the CDC said.

Well since we're still learning about this vaccine, and we have no data for children under 12, we definitely should go forward with plans to vaccinate all children between two to five, who have no risk from covid whatsoever.

Don't be too upset, though. It's not personal.

The CDC just makes it a habit of withholding all important data from you.

The CDC has been withholding large portions of COVID-19 data from the public.
The New York Times reports that the CDC has published only "a small sample of the data" because it fears the public would not properly understand the data, that the public is too dumb.
"The agency has been reluctant to make those figures public, the official said, because they might be misinterpreted as the vaccines being ineffective," the Times reports.
In other words, if there's proof that the vaccines against COVID are less effective than promised -- as each triple-vaxxed COVID positive individual proves -- you don't deserve to know about it. So don't ask.
Among the hidden data points are the hospitalization rates broken down by age and vaccination status, in addition to the effectiveness of booster shots. Just the important stuff.
Two weeks ago, the CDC published the effectiveness of boosters in adults younger than 65. Yet that information did not include tests among adults ages 18 to 49, the group least likely to benefit from booster shots because the first two doses left them well-protected.
When Kristen Nordlund, a CDC spokeswoman, says the public would "misinterpret" this data, she means the public would see how the CDC is lying to them. That cannot happen.

Say -- withholding data about the efficacy of boosters among young adults...? Would that include young males, the same group at elevated risk for myocarditis...?

I sure hope the CDC wasn't hiding data that showed that the vaccine wasn't doing very much to protect young men from covid, at the same time it was also withholding data showing that the vaccines were increasing the risk of myocarditis in young men.

But I'm sure they wouldn't have done that. I'm sure they wouldn't have withheld data which would have otherwise allowed people at very low risk for serious covid harm to make rational, informed choices about their own health, just for purposes of supporting a politically-decided vaccinations-at-any-cost propaganda mission.

In fact, the CDC's mission is entirely about lying to the public.

I've told this story so many times you're probably sick of reading it. During the ebola outbreak, Obama, the International Cosmopolitan, decided he would not ban travel to the West African countries where ebola was breaking out.

That would be privileging American lives over African ones, which is not something an American President should do.

Therefore, Tom Frieden, then the head of the CDC, was sent out to Reassure the Public that The Science (TM) supported this policy. Remember, at that time, this was a political hot potato, because people wanted the borders closed until the outbreak was over.

To support the president's political choice, Frieden straight-up lied in an interview with CNN's Sanjay Gupta, claiming that ebola could not be spread by a sneeze, because ebola was not "airborne transmissible."

Gupta probed him on this, trying to get him to change his story, because he knew Frieden was misrepresenting the medical facts, but Frieden clung to his politicized lie.

Ebola is not, in fact, airborne transmissible, but that is a doubletalk distraction, because a sneeze is by definition not an example of airborne transmission, but an example of direct contact, and yes, ebola is very much transmissible by direct contact, as by a sneeze. (I think one of the spread in the US was through a sneeze.)

But Frieden lied because... oh, what excuse would he give? What would Francis Collins or Fauci or Rachel Walenski say...? Because he didn't want to "confuse the public" with "scientific details that would mislead them," so he offered a "simplified version of the truth" that would "steer them to the right conclusion."

Or, in starker terms: He lied about the facts in order to force the public to accept a conclusion that he and his political team had decided for political reasons, not scientific ones, and he omitted any details which would tip the public to the fact that these questions were in fact highly debatable and that this debate was largely one of covert political choice, not one of open scientific determination.

So, the real reason? He and Obama wanted to keep the border open and thought that a few cases of ebola spreadin in the US were an "acceptable risk," but didn't want to have to make that case in the public, so they just lied and claimed that ebola could not be spread by a sneeze, because it's not "airborne transmissible."

The CDC is all about pretending there is absolutely No Doubt about their conclusions, and No Possible Debate about their recommendations, to avoid the public having a chance to debate things the public should be debating.

The CDC exists as an expressly anti-democratic institution -- it exists to not only be apart from democracy, but to actively thwart it.

With lies, with subterfuge, and with smears against anyone who dares question what a bunch of penny-ante government bureaucrats who could not keep a job as a mid-level lab assistant have decided what "The Science (TM)" should be.

Now, I don't think there's anywhere where it's written down in the CDC protocols that you're supposed to lie to the public, or that Public Lying is the major part of "Public Science." You don't commit that sort of thing to writing. Writings can be subpeonaed.

But I would very much like Congress to put these bastards under oath, from Frieden to Collins to Fauci to Walenski, and make them answer under oath whether it is part of the secret, verbal culture of the CDC that the most effective way to lead the public during an oubreak is just to lie, lie, lie to them until they do what you fucking tell them to do.

Because that is what the CDC is all about. It's obviously what they're all about.

I just want them to be forced to admit it, or to go to jail for perjuring themselves in front of Congress.

I don't agree with the Vulgar Marxism of the left. "Vulgar Marxism" is an epithet applied to Marxist/leftist thinking that attempts to explain behavior in the capitalist west in the crudest way possible: "Oh, of course that happened, someone's just making money from that."

No matter how far-fetched it might be that someone was doing X for money might be. Thus, the adjective "Vulgar" in the phrase. The thinking is vulgar, crude, unrefined. Stupid.

Not that the public is too dumb. This is the same argument put out last year by MIT's data science program (written by undergrads but endorsed by the dean). The amateur/armchair/after-work statisticians, data scientists and data visualizers did *very* good work with public health data and drew wildly different conclusions than the government did.

Their level of peer review within their groups was was often brutal and they picked every nit possible. The quality of the work was so good, in fact - and they turned around results so quickly - that they were an effective challenge to public health authorities.

MIT concluded that that public health data should only be shared in aggregate and after analysis to avoid normals from building opposing narratives. The complaint wasn't quality of work - that was acknowledged as incredibly high - but that the wrong conclusions were being drawn. Solution? Don't publish the data.

* again, how is it "effective" if it doesn't prevent infection? And prevention of infection, and related public health benefit of reducing transmission, was absolutely the core idea of a vaccine in the first place, and the entirety of the public understanding of its potential value

85 I ended up getting pericarditis after getting Covid in the first wave. Treated, cured, no worries. I had several checkups afterward with a cardiologist out of caution. Always very cordial and light conversation with the guy. My last checkup, he noted I hadn't gotten the jab, and he asked why. I told him that, having had covid and acquired immunity, having allergies and asthma, and reading multiple cases of clots and heart problems (I think Adama Traore from the Premiere League had just gone down that weekend, clutching his chest), I told him I was uncomfortable getting the shot.

He looked at me with amazement. "That's not true! There are no problems! Where are you getting this information??"

Needless to say, things turned icy from that point and I won't be back.

I actually think that's unfair. Brandon is a catastrophic fuckup and has made everything worse in this regard, but the complete destruction of trust cannot be laid at his feet. This has been a 20-30 year exercise, accelerated dramatically under Obama and they hit the afterburners on it during the Trump administration and especially during COVID. Trust is gone. Almost nobody trusts the government, the press, academia, NGOs or major corporate institutions. This has been building for a very long time and has only recent broken out into a general and broad-spectrum trust and credibility crisis.

My major corporation (which is one of the few remaining good ones, BTW) never went full Castreau and mandated it. Now, they've announced an immediate end to all COVID restrictions for their employees - masks, travel, everything, period.

And I don't have to worry about myocarditis, or adverse effects for my kids or anything like that. Glad I'm not into moral panics.

That *should* be true. The approvals - both EUA and formal - were almost certainly fraudulent and in violation of major, important rules. If that is demonstrated, immunity should vanish and Pfizer and Moderna should be driven into the ground through litigation and damages payouts.

But it won't happen. Even if that fraud is demonstrated, nobody will be made whole and Pfizer and Moderna will at worst pay a hefty fine to the FDA, who will continue to look the other way for them.

I talked here before about how my heart got palpitations a month after I got the vaccine.

Did a bunch of tests... oh you're fine, this is all normal. Finally got approved after pushing for it to get an echocardiogram... it proved my mitrial valve isn't working properly. (Finally something showing I'm not crazy, something is wrong!)

But, the doctors are once again saying that's fine, I don't need to do anything about it. I'm going in soon to discuss it, I'm worried they will once again ignore it.

I don't know what to do; second opinion? Fire them all and find a new heart doctor?

Based on the data from Israel and the UK, the shots aren't totally ineffective. They're reasonably effective against the original Wuhan strain, albeit for a brief duration (4-6 months) and that protection comes with non-trivial risks. They're somewhat effective against the Delta strain, with the same caveats. They appear to be entirely ineffective against the Omicron.

It seems to me that there is no reason to get vaccinated now that Omicron is dominant. It won't protect you and so you have only downsides. At the beginning, the entire rollout should have been limited to high-risk individuals and done voluntarily.

But all of these ships sailed long, long ago.

There was/is very little "real science" (TM) involved with the COVID plandemic. It always was a policy driven operation to see how the public would react to forced compliance. It was a test. The feds wanted to see how the public at large would react to potentially unfavorable policies being mandated. Obviously they needed a benchmark for future operations. A playbook.

I think that nobody who is reasonably healthy and of reproductive age should get it, and certainly not pregnant women. There are some findings of problems in men (swollen balls, etc.) but in women those reproductive problems appear to be *much* worse and the miscarriage rate is higher per the military data and Pfizer's data. If I were a young woman, I'd be running as fast possible away from this.

We now know that the vaccines were of very limited effectiveness (according to the Israeli study, they become largely ineffective after about 3 months, and another study suggested that the vaccines actually make people more susceptible to becoming infected with different strains of the virus than if they remained unvaccinated). And the vaccines certainly were not completely safe. Aside from the known risks of myocarditis in young men, there have been reports from insurance companies that they've had to pay out on high numbers of doctor and hospital visits by insureds who had adverse reactions to the vaccines.

The CDC is an agency that is supposed to serve the public interest, not the interests of Joe Biden or Big Pharma. They should be forced to release the data.

Is this what the public voted for? The answer is no.

There was a report a while back that the U.S. government had paid something like $26 per dose for the first round of vaccines (they bought billions of doses), and then negotiated it down to $19 per dose for the next round (also a purchase of billions of doses). Don't know what number they're up to now, but this has been a huge, huge financial windfall for the drug companies. It's not hard to understand why they want it to go on forever -- with mandated yearly boosters from now to eternity.

Don't know what number they're up to now, but this has been a huge, huge financial windfall for the drug companies. I truly believe that most people run no risk. But I also believe that "most" is maybe 60-70 percent at best.

There are far too many people having severe reactions for this to keep being pushed.

My mom, who has no issues other than being 30 pounds overweight and in her 80s, did fine with the initial 2 shots, but decided she wanted the booster and ended up in the hospital that night with extreme tachycardia, shortness of breath, breathing issues, and hallucinations.

But yes, the CDC does lie to the public "for their own good", and I used to think that was unambiguously bad. But now I realize the public is so stupid that I can't really blame them for it anymore. Myocarditis, an inflammation of the heart muscle fibers, way out of normal occurrence rates in younger males after the second dose. But not nearly as far from normal as pericarditis, inflammation of the sac/membrane in which the heart resides. The numbers for pericarditis were something like 10-13 times that of myocarditis back last May, when I looked it up. They just won't talk about it. Why? Because it seems to occur in older males and they can find many other things to blame heart problems on in that age cohort. 20 yo male keels over, they eventually have to admit it. Ten 49 yo males keel over, less urgency to admit it.
