The website was hacked, and redirected to another URL. The donors' information was leaked online. And then published on Twitter. All the CBC would need do is publicize an open question for donors -- "What makes you want to donate to the Freedom Convoy?" -- and they'd get hundreds of people responding. They're using the onetime-confidential donor list precisely to let the donors know, "We know who you are." Do not forget, Trudeau has just invoked the Emergencies Act for the first time in history, and has threatened to use the banks to get at the protesters. And the people supporting them, one can infer. Matthew Schmitz @matthewschmitz Last year, at least 68 churches in Canada were set ablaze or vandalized following claims that 215 indigenous children had been murdered and secretly buried at a residential school run by the Catholic Church. . . . . Prominent Canadians cheered on or excused the violence. Harsha Walia, then the executive director of the BC Civil Liberties Association, tweeted "burn it all down." . . . . Nesta Matthews, a radio host in New Brunswick, tweeted, " Burn the churches down." - And all based on a lie. So, hackers:
1. Hijacked the site and redirected traffic so as to suspend operations. 2. Stole the donor list for the convoy fundraiser (at least, if not also others) 3. Leaked the donor list to the press so they can begin doxxing until the banks can start firing their customers But what *didn't* these hackers do? Nothing I have read indicates that they committed any financial crimes. No theft of account numbers, no theft of funds. That's extremely suspicious. I strongly - very strongly - suspect that this was not a hacker or hacking group. I am much more inclined to believe this was a state action, either directly or by proxy. The people who are doing this at the CBC are the villains of the story. ------- Just SOP. This tactic was super-effective at chilling dissent in the US, and I'm sure the Brother Party in Ottawa noticed. Incidentally, this tactic and many others are cribbed directly from the GDR and adapted for the digital age. They're called "corrosion measures," or "disintegration measures," depending on the translator. Erich Mielke devised our system of political repression as a means of crushing dissent more subtly than the brutal terror tactics he had used during the Ulbricht era. He learned from the uprising in Berlin. And he was always smarter than the Brother Party's security pros in Moscow. Posted by: Yudhishthira's Dice at February 15, 2022 03:53 PM (CARG2) 124
The difference now is that it is all blatant in your face. The non-political can no longer pretend that it isn't happening.
My wife and I have daily conversations about the Great Reset and the desire of the administrative state to enslave us. Conversations that we would have both thought were paranoia 10 years ago. I imagine those conversations are happening everywhere now. The question is will Trudeau and his Stasi get away with it. The only way I see that happening is if the Truckers fold and go home. If they don't, then eventually there is going to be a vote of non-confidence and Canada will have to form a new government. And it all could have been avoided if Trudeau had just had the political intelligence to claim case numbers have dropped and rescind the vax mandate. Hell, even Biden had enough sense to rescind the OSHA mandate when it was struck down. But he is an authoritarian with a tiny dick, and can't abide being crossed. Dr. Robert Califf was narrowly confirmed by the Senate on Tuesday to lead the Food and Drug Administration, placing him back in the role he held during the final year of the Obama administration. The Senate confirmed President Biden's nominee 50-46, after Califf received opposition from Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), who argued the doctor bore "a great deal of responsibility" for massive drug overdose deaths that have happened since his last tenure in the position.

Why? The ruling class legislators did not want to get violations. WIth a cop, they just flash their credentials and are let off. Since around 1968 we've rebuilt society in such a manner that NOBODY learns anything and everyone is a child. But that can be reversed by older people growing up. Stop complaining about "adulting" and start cultivating wisdom and truth. Stop whining about how tired you are and how hard things are. They just are. Bear down and do it. I have no problem with universal DNA ID. The problem is with the abuse (stuff like targeted viruses, but even teh end of anonymous activity of any kind....)
In the past, people could not travel and were known by face. The anonymous cities and shit is all new to the modern world. I am OK with knowing who people are when I do a transaction with them. But for that to work, we have to have a much limited state and much more controls on private actors like Big Tech. They are the abusers. The Fed needs to do an emergency stop right now. Can they pull out without destroying the ship/airplane. Think of airplane screaming at a mountain. The longer you wait to pull out, the harder that becomes. At some point, you can't do it with passing out or even destroying the plane by the g-forces required. The Fed is there now. Pulling out one immediate rake hikes and liquidity drains like you've never seen. We're not talking "nasty recession" as the result, we're talking depression. Really? I said we should listen to the wisdom of elders when it comes to raising kids and 5 people immediately attacked me and the idea. What, exactly, does that indicate to you? Does it not say that we should not listen to older people on child rearing? Does it not argue that wisdom has no place because we cannot trust the elderly? Or am I misreading things here? 99% of the problems we're facing now as a culture is a huge shift for decades to crap all over tradition, wisdom, and passed down truths over the ages. Yet here we are with people backing that very thing on a blog where people should know better. Because we're rarely even aware of the culture we swim through.
