At any rate, Biden enjoyed curing cancer so much he's decided to do it again. And no, this has nothing to do with his Miserable Failure on covid. I wonder what that's going to do to cancer death rates. Oh well if cancer doesn't get diagnosed I guess it won't show up in the statistics. There's a win for you, Brandon!

Calculating it should be fairly easy. Because the schedule for such screenings is typically based itself on data from years of observation, so one can assign a rough probability to the increased morbidity or undiagnosed/untreated worsening of a disease or condition based on the same data.
EthicalSkeptic, a data scientist, was doing this from early on, but I haven't seen whether he's refined or continued his calculations. Should think it would be quite straightforward.
And, most importantly, it was not because of the "pandemic" - it was because of the science-free, panicked, hysterical *reaction to* the virus.

This is a pretty easy bet for him. Unless the world ends (which is certainly possible), progress is still going to be made and the Dems and this new agency can take credit for what is the current trend anyway. If it doesn't work, no one will remember.
And then there's another big factor in this, I suspect. What is the next-gen cancer treatment that a lot of the pharma industry was betting on before COVID? mRNA. Maybe it will even work. But a new Cancer Bureau will, I suspect, include lots of handouts for Pfizer, Moderna, J&J, AstraZeneca, etc. for new drugs and treatments based on existing research and technology that was all accelerated through even more handouts under Warp Speed.
Or I am just a tinfoil hat wearer. I dunno.

The timing/frequency of screening tests is based on the stats derived from years of observation regarding the condition/disease in question. Your chances of X developing undetected or worsening if you do not adhere to a screening interval can be expressed in %s. The intervals used are based on this - with a %, and associated interval, being picked.
Thus the turbulence with breast cancer screening intervals a few years back - there is no single "correct" interval, it's just a question of picking the sweet spot for prevention/detection and cost.

It's not as ludicrous as it sounds. After all, cancer is sort of analogous to a port backup, where a bunch of malformed and weak vessels are clogging up the works and crowding out good, healthy vessels from the ports and thus causing a resource starvation.
Sequestering vessels further offshore and managing the port facilities is sort of like tackling cancer. Sort of.

And that's 100% the truth. Medicine doesn't want cures b/c then there's no more money. Like the AIDS treatment protocol, they want something that "cures" you, but requires you to stay on the treatment forever. That's money in the bank.
Which, as an currently incurable-cancer person, I'm okay with the AIDS solution if my cancer gets to it. Right now, even without a cure, the same paradigm develops for my cancer, except most times, you eventually have to stop taking the meds b/c they stop working and/or get toxic, and then you switch til there are no more and you die. I'd take the "always works without toxicity" trade for the money.

Worth keeping an eye on. Assuming there is a spike, we're left dealing with one of the many problems of the COVID response: the lack of treatment and testing for routine stuff. Is something causing a big spike in breast cancers, or is it just that nobody got tested for a few years and now the case counts are spiking hugely since people are going back to the doctor?

Just as a reminder... the mRNA therapies were supposed to be the bespoke "cure" for cancer when this whole line of exploration was started decades ago. They just cleared the testing hurdle by mandating mRNA gene therapy in the form of a pandemic "vaccine".

We know the clot shot reduces overall disease immunity. I've seen some speculate that it is specifically affecting the t-cells that normally target cancer.

Beau was as big a crook as the other Biden family members, according to those who knew him.
There was a story last year, I forget where, but the person who told it was somebody who'd bought some crooked favors from the Bidens (and he used his real name in the story). He wrote about how he went to a meeting with one of the Biden brothers and some other people, and then Beau came in at the end (and Beau was either the state AG, or running for AG, at this time). Somebody made a joke about a press release or something, and Beau Biden got angry and said nobody in the room better ever talk about what went down there, and if anybody did talk, every member of the Biden family would deny it, and would denying knowing any of the people present.
It would have been pretty unlikely for an honorable man to have emerged from the Biden family, given what we know about Joe, the Biden brothers, Hunter, Ashley, Jill, etc. None of them are honorable people, so how where would Beau have learned it?

I'm leaning towards the camp that the spike protein was the point here and that SARS-CoV-2 was chosen just to deliver it. Which has pretty damning implications for the vax, given that Moderna was clearly involved at some point in the development of the virus.
Not really sure what to make of the freaky sepsis and encephalitis aspects of severe infections - whether that was intended, or fortuitous, or accidental and undesired - but I also think it's clear by now that they either knew what worked as a preventative and cure ahead of time or had one in the wings. Probably both. There are screenshots floating around from a 2019 news segment where you can plainly see references to Merck's COVID drug development on a PC monitor.

The drug may be fine. Lot's of older drugs work well.
However, we don't have healthcare anymore. We have a health process. Between insurance companies, lawyers, and gov't regs, everything is dictated. Wife was in hospital, just overnight, and they gave her a drug to prevent blood clots. It's because the ins. company and lawyers require it. She's not supposed to take those drugs because she can bleed out.

The funny thing is that most of those ridiculous hi cap magazines are somewhat unreliable in the field. Trained people do not need them as regular mag changes do just fine. I recall how one potential mass shooter had a drum mag malfunction and that prevented them from killing more. Might have been the VTech murderer or another.

Personally, I prefer the trimmer 20 round mags (which was the original design) in ARs and have some 10 and 5 rounders for range work and proof testing.

Well the beauty of the thompson is that the mag well had slots to actually support the drum, which had small rails that fit into the slots so it didn't pull down. that feature was eliminated in the M1 version of the thompson, so it couldn't even accept the drums. But yeah, the drums were frigging heavy.
