The NeverTrumpers Who Propagandized for Biden, All the While Supported by Democrat Donors, Now Distance Themselves from the Disaster They Foisted on Us

bidendunham.jpg

Who could have predicted this, apart from every genuine conservative and anyone who'd had even a passing acquaintance with Joe "They gonna put y'all back in chains" Biden?

They did the same with Hillary Clinton, of course -- somehow overlooking all of her proven corruption, mendacity, and evil while never shutting up about every defect, real or imagined, of Trump's.

And now they bleat -- but how could we have known?!?!

Stephen Hayes
@stephenfhayes

Joe Biden's speech yesterday was filled with misleading comparisons, cheap demagoguery & false claims. The worst of his presidency - from the guy who claimed unifying the country is in his "whole soul."

We opened today's Morning Dispatch for our analysis.

His rhetoric was unbelievably inflammatory. And Biden has a history of inflammatory racial comments. Remember "Put you all back in chains"? He made that comment about the Romney/Ryan ticket. Yes, Romney/Ryan.

-- David French (@DavidAFrench) January 12, 2022

As Twitch notes, linking a Tweet from @danieltobin, here was Right Reverend French gushing over the man he helped put into office through crooked means:

davidpastorfrenchendorsingbiden.jpg

nevertrumpwhocouldhaveknown.jpg

I'm still waiting for someone to mash-up Biden's speech about wanting to "heal America's whole soul" with his nasty divisive race-baiting from two days ago.

Did the NeverTrumpers really believe that Mr. "They gonna put y'all back in chains" wanted to "heal America's whole soul"?

Or were they just paid to say that?

Let's face it, none of these individuals is exactly overburdened by talent or skills that could be put to economic use. And none of them are young enough to develop new ones.

If they don't repeat what their Democrat donors want them to repeat, they don't eat.

And you can tell just by looking at them -- they do like to eat.

Below: Some truly frightening clips of Biden who cannot even read simple words from his teleprompter.

In McCarthy's bulleted "agenda" for a (potential) Republican majority he provided a crib notes list that looks like it was written by a major donor's 8 year old. He didn't even mention the border, or even focusing on illegal immigrant removal. We call that a "clue" as to who a majority will be working for. Hint: it's not the voters, it's the big CoC type donors.

Well, the game changed. These people have zero value to the Left anymore, and I suspect that the funding is drying up. When W wanted to privatize a portion of social security, Bernie said he would fight it tooth and nail. Even though it would have meant that a poor man who worked til he died to make ends meet would still have something he could leave to his kids.

Also, that poor man probably started working young - maybe 18, maybe before. If he was able to save a portion of his SS in a private account until he retired, it would likely grow into a nice little nest egg. We all know how compounding interest, over a period of 50 or so years, works. Bernie was against this.

Posted by: Blago at January 13, 2022 12:45 PM (RzH1B)

They'd love to be "good" conservatives again and resume their grift. The problem is that Trump lost the election, but wasn't fully defeated. Trumpism wasn't repudiated.

Rember, Trumpism is at its core a reevaluation of our global commitments, a desire to focus American domestic policy on ensuring that America benefits, and respect for blue-collar workers, American industry, and American culture. It is in direct conflict to the vast, increasingly fragile, globalist structure built by the managerial class over the past fifty years.

If there's an established one in your neighborhood or city, she can go and see what she thinks. The ideal is not supposed to be a mutual admiration society. A good group will laud the positive things in a work ("I loved that the characterization of the son"), but should also point out where it falls down or misses the mark. Not everyone in the group will have the same pluses or minuses, which is okay. But if a majority say that something doesn't work, your daughter would be well advised to examine at the piece and see where she can fix it.

The emphasis should be on fixing a work and getting it in shape to be published eventually.

When something happens fast, in the midst of a Supreme court case, sometimes the Court will leave things they way the are and punt the decision. Upholding the CMS rule and denying a stay, and upholding the stay on OSHA, but without issuing a ruling. They say appeal improvidently allowed or something like that. The information about vaccine ineffectiveness is well known by us, but most of America is just starting to figure it out over the last two weeks. Plus major European announcement yesterday about that.

326 Just to show you a few anecdotes that bought into some of this, I have in-laws that are "normal" Republican conservatives that 99% of the time, vote Republican. But they really let the "hand wringing" stuff to get them.

One wrote in "Pence" for President, the other left it blank, but voted a straight Republican ticket on the rest of their ballot. Liberals NEVER do this shit.

But I hope they're happy they ended "mean tweets" and could watch the nightly news again. Lester Holt seemed relieved and that's what matters.

327 Wolfus, what does a writing group do? I am the least creative person I know, but I have a daughter who thinks she might want to be a writer. She has written some things, but I don't want to screw it up for her. Would a writing group do things like give good feedback on something written? How does one go about setting something like that up?
Posted by: Catherine at January 13, 2022

More on writing groups: In ours, which has been gong since about 2005 with some of the same people, each person brings a manuscript, 10 pages or less, and distributes a copy to each member of the group. Then the next week, or whenever that work is scheduled, we go around the circle, and each person comments on the work. Not specifically on grammar or punctuation (which some people do really need help with); that can be marked on the ms. It should be more on "Why this piece worked/didn't work for me."

Personally I think a suggestion from the critiquer as to how he/she thinks the passage can be fixed is okay, but our group leader doesn't care for that. So I'll ask the critiquer after the meeting. Depends on the rules of the group.

To pull off 2020 scale in the future, they need the exceptional things they had in 2020. These exceptional things include universal vote-by-mail, absence of ballot integrity, absence of cross-checked counting (to allow multiple counts of the same ballots), etc. They got all of that in 2020, and they will need it again and then some. Cheating at 2020 scale requires 2020 conditions. 2018 or 2016 conditions will make it much harder and even more obvious, if not impossible.

The current buzz on what to do to prevent the virus even getting a hold is to use a nasal lavage. Using tiny amounts of iodine, or hydrogen peroxide or bleach. Then washed thru ones sinuses using a special cup. (you can find kits on Amazon).

This lowers the amount of viral load the body has to deal with.

Same with the hands. Do this when you return home after being anywhere iffy. In this time of a more infectious breed a mask might be advisable just to lower the chances of happening on a cloud of aerosol with the virus in it. (that's how they infected the bats a special aerosol other wise they couldn't infect them.)

Look up on the internet, it's there and how much to use and how to use it.

389 338 This would be bad, very bad. Because the CMS mandate means we are going to crash the health care system. The people in health care who wont get the shot by now, will go to the wall. They'll be firing thousands and thousands by next week.
__________

Not that the vaccines ever made sense, but mandating them now makes even less sense than ever.

We know, from the hospital numbers, that the vaccinated are the ones who are being most adversely affected by omicron. We also know that omicron is not much worse than a cold or flu for the majority of people who get it.

So why mandate something which (1) doesn't actually prevent people from getting sick and (2) makes people who get it more, not less, susceptible to becoming ill?

It's insane.

They really do think Word are Violence; but that means they are completely helpless in the face of anyone who simply says "No, you're an idiot, and I couldn't care less about your idiotic statements."

truly dedicated and hard core radicals of the past would move into Real Violence when verbal violence fails; but I predict the current batch of Karen's will simply retreat to a corner where they will cry, suck their thumbs, and feel Sorry for Themselves.

Yep. It's regularly ten cents per pill. IIRC it got up to seven dollars per pill, but then it was banned in a lot of places because it was undercutting the vaccine.

I strongly disagree that this was "planned" - Schumer is an idiot, and Sinema and Manchin both understand their home states better than any NYC-DC people do. In Sinema's case, remember that even though she ran as a liberal democrat, she is actually more conservative in practice then either Jeff Flake (spit) or John McCain (spits twice) were. And this is what her constituents what! A true prog has no chance at all of being elected, or re-elected, but Sinema is probably assuring her political future with this move.

Well, that's actually a serious problem and if they want to consider trying to make such a move, they'll have to come up with a solution. The obvious solution is whitelisting - only approved accounts are allowed to post - but that would ruin their business models. More AI and a zero-strike policy is more likely. If you post *anything* that trips the filter, you're perma-banned across platforms with no chance for appeal. Make the risks to social media users so large that you act to chill all discussion entirely. Only the blue checks will be allowed to post on any "controversial" topic at all.

Joe was so heartbroken that he took photographers and reporters with him to the Maryland hospital where his sons were recovering from the accident, so that there would be photos of him getting sworn into the senate at their bedside.

There was no need for this, as he could easily have taken his oath of office elsewhere without disturbing his young sons, but Joe wanted to use his boys, who'd just lost their mother and baby sister, as political props so he could depict himself as a devoted father.

It was sickening, but all too typical of the kind of man he is.

In all honesty Ace - and it's a rhetorical reply - because you're off crashing shelves or blowing off the next post or whatever ...

It's a little more than just the "grift" that pisses you off - although the grift is certainly part of it. It's also "Boomer Optimism" (thank you Grumpy92.

It's the naive, stupid, completely faith-based notion that "everything is gonna' be all right" as long as you do the proper virtue signals - and Hell, it's not like the nation could ever fall, so for cryin' out loud, keep that hair decidedly not on fire.

So Back the Blue, BLM - whatever. It's all just a game. It's not like the country could ever fall, after all. Because - as the Boomers love to scold the Millennials on (and do Boomers ever love to scold, and their Millennial students paid pretty good attention) - history doesn't mean jack shit prior to one's own birth.
