The Lie That Keeps Giving: Covid Can't Be Spread During BLM Riots Because of The Science

There are accusations that Fauci and the CDC have reduced quarantine periods from 10 days to 5 to accommodate industry and to keep entire companies from shutting down.

Almost as if what is claimed to be "The Science" is in fact a hodge-podge of political decisions being made by bureaucrats and their political counterparts, like Ron Klain.

But then, this has been going on since the start of the covid panic. Fauci lied about mask being ineffectual, because he didn't want lowly civilians buying them up and shorting them for medical professionals. (Surprise! He had it right the first time -- they are almost entirely ineffectual, but he didn't know that when he claimed it.)

Update: Commenters say he knew that masks were practically useless at all points during the pandemic:

34 >>Surprise! He had it right the first time -- they are almost entirely ineffectual, but he didn't know that when he claimed it.

Axshually, he did.

Fauci wrote and email to Sylvia Burwell, Obama's former head of HHS, in February 2020 and told her that store bought masks were basically useless against a coronavirus.

He's been on every side of every issue depending on the day and the political need.
Posted by: JackStraw

He then played game with what would constitute "herd immunity" -- 70%? 75%? 85% 90% -- and admitted he just made up numbers according to what he believed the public was "ready to hear" or what they would tolerate. When he felt they were "ready to hear" higher numbers, an would tolerate higher numbers, he shifted his target for herd immunity upward.

He admitted this -- he admitted that what he claimed to be "The Science" was in fact just a grab-bag of psychological gambits and tactical deceptions intended for maximum manipulative impact on the public.

And yet when you pointed this out, he contacted his palz at the social media companies to censor you.

"Experts" wonder why people don't believe a ***-damn word coming from their lying mouths, and want to know why.

Why? Why won't they believe us any longer?

Why do they believe that when we talk about "The Science," we're really just hustling them to get them to comply with our policy and political preferences by labeling it "The Science"?

Why do they not trust us about "The Science" any longer?

Well, maybe they should look at the huge repulsive mass of lies they've vomited at us for two years for a clue.

Starting with this one:

Screenshot (1066).png

Screenshot (1067).png

politicalsciencegg.png

More from John Sexton, including a great thread from about the Era of Healthy Covid-Safe Rioting from Drew Holden.

Screenshot (1079).png

This "public health expert" wants you to know that Whiteness is a very serious public health issue and we need to take to the streets to fight it.

Screenshot (1077).png

This isn't "The Science" -- this is rabidly leftwing partisans, drenched in self-interest, bending and mutilating science as needed to advance their preferred political agenda.

And they're not practicing public health -- they're firing off gunshots and throwing ropes and cracking whips to control the herd and get it moving in the direction they want.

We are not cattle, and you are not cowboys, assholes.

Your "expertise" is only as good as the used car dealer's -- he's an expert too, you know. In used cars.

And both of your expertises stop counting for shit the moment we realize you're using it to bluster and scam us, the minute we figure out that you're weaponizing your informational advantage to cheat us.

Reliable expertise requires two factors, not just one:

1, proven knowledge in a subject matter field

2, proven honesty and integrity in using that expertise fairly on behalf of his clients, without self-dealing

Our expert class continually fails the second factor. They continually dupe the people they're providing their "expert counsel" to, and engage in self-dealing and self (political) enrichment.

And when they get caught embezzling, they just keep saying, "But we're experts! We're really, really good at corruptly inducing you to sign over your property to us!"

And what's more -- Shiiiiit, 90% of the time they fail the first factor, too. 90% of the time they're incompetent and not even actually experts, either.

I actually think he did know that. By the time he transitions into mask fascism, he does so for political reasons -- initially to give people a talisman to hold onto in the face of a disease they cannot control.

That quickly morphs into a way of enforcing loyalty to the COVID priests, as the response is further politicized.

But the problem I have is that, like THE SCIENCE more generally, cost/benefit analysis is only allowed when it can be a perverted tool of the overall assault. Nobody did cost/benefit on COVID response, because to have done so would have made it clear that we were being destructive for no reason. And heaven help you if you try to do one in other domains. Bjorn Lomberg was canceled for daring to do a cost/benefit assessment of global warming responses.

The problem, particularly in the USA, is that those people weak enough to get the vax will suffer the long term consequences. The more shots, the more consequences. Many people are. But as they know many people also respond to fear. The disinformation campaign works on those people. They've never really worried about their mortality. Most of them have never been shot at or have ever lived in any real danger. The they put this 24/7 psyop where they constantly tell everyone they're gonna die, their kids are gonna die, there's no escape, etc. it's classic and provokes panic, bad decisions and compliance. Before you know it, it becomes a psychosis with many people. So I cant really blame them. Other then they need to snap out of it.

Exactly the opposite. That the 1918 caused so many problems in healthy, young immune systems was it's trademark. It struck people in the prime of life because those are the ones whose immune systems overreacted and caused the 'cytokine storm'.

Covid affects older people or those with otherwise compromised immune systems worse. Also people not generally in good health.

Riots and confrontational actions are a healthy way to engage in vigorous activity while outdoors.

The COOF virus has a robust "don't take on vigorously exercising individuals" avoidance system that is far more advanced than stealth technology -- so much so that we could learn from it!

Case in point - I recently visited an elderly woman (nearly 100 years old) who knew me when I started going to her church in the early 90s. She hasn't been to church for over a year because there are people in her church who aren't vaccinated against COVID, even though she's been vaccinated and boosted.

This means that about 90 percent of the people in the US will die, and the current elites won't be in the useful few who physically defend the serfs from bandits.

In a less extreme form, a huge amount of value is created by companies trying to provide luxuries for the large urban middle class doing jobs. You destroy that class, and suddenly that trade and all that depends on it is gone. Then all those things that were cheap and mass produced aren't, and are gone or very expensive. This bites into even your own luxuries, mister ruler.

High-water mark claim was that N95s had some benefit, in a clinical setting - an assertion that itself is viewed skeptically by some.

Bottom line, the actual science, in March 2020 and now, shows no benefit from any of the sort of masks or mask practices that are recommended or actually occur.

They've convinced themselves that high tech factors - particularly automation and AI - make it different this time. The world they are trying to build is one with a hyper-rich and all-powerful elite class to whom most of the production accrues where everything is made with automated equipment that is kept running by the new merchant class of engineers who are comparatively well-paid. Not to mention he published a research paper on the 1918 influenza pandemic where he determined that there were more deaths due to secondary bacterial pneumonia than the actual 1918 flu. The spread due to the mandatory universal wearing of masks.

223 And a massive well-designed RCT in Denmark in 2020 confirmed, for the Nth time, that mask-wearing has no measurable benefit in the reducing transmission or anything else in the general population.

One of the authors, when asked when the thing would finally be published - it had finished peer review, etc - said "when someone is brave enough to publish it".

Savor the "science" in an environment in which that kind of remark could be made.

Fauci's involvement with the Wuhan lab has been know since the summer of 2020. Trump had Dr Atlas on his team and he was ridiculed as a flat earther for pointing out the truth.

Once this got taken over by the media and the left all common sense was abandoned and nobody was listening to anything but fear porn and anyone who dissented was ignored or destroyed.

Actually, this was a devastating failure of government interference. They banned most incandescent bulbs in favor of the environmentally ruinous, expensive and generally very poor quality Compact Fluorescent (CFL) bulbs. This was a big boon to the manufacturers of those, with Philips and GE likely being the primary desired beneficiaries of the policy.

But the problem is that CFLs suck and everyone hates them. It is very likely that the "no more incandescent bulbs" regulations put in place here and other places - combined with the fact that the alternative technology was shit - were a major driver in getting cheap LED area lighting off the ground and onto shelves in quantity. It was a policy backfire, not goal. LEDs likely would have made old-type bulbs more or less a speciality product all on their own, but the technology wasn't all that close to ready until there was a sudden unexpected demand to make it so.

Posted by: Joe Mannix (Not a cop!) at December 29, 2021 04:30 PM (DU+/6)

255 You all are forgetting one factor that hasn't been very visible lately.

Automation. I'm afraid that they can remove a large part of the population without affecting their standard of living very much due to automation. It's ready right now and the corporations are only holding back because there are too many people who would protest and riot if their jobs were lost.

Get the picture? We're in the way now. Before we were a means to an end thus justifiable and patience could be expended. Now? There's little need for a large excess to them of the numbers of people and to many of them have become a costly burden. then why the open borders you ask? Well the open borders is for a more compliant source of manual labor and it acts as a threat against those already a burden to keep them either in control or otherwise occupied. They can be sorted out later.
First the elderly and disabled along with the chronically ill need to be removed. Then the removal of the excess health care workers who are really more nannies for the elderly than nurses.

For every innovation, there's a price. The price of robotic gun platforms is that, once their location is identified they can be taken out with standoff weapons, with no fear of casualties by the aggressor. It's just equipment. Nations hesitate to cause bloodshed during a border skirmish, but no need to hesitate for these.

As I've said countless times before:

The left and the far left always take both sides of an argument, even simultaneously, and trots them out depending on the political usefulness. This is why talking points like "leftists used to be against big corporations" are completely useless.

They play off of each other, and especially use them to barrage normal people. It suffocates the political discourse and leaves normal people with no options to speak out, because leftists are constantly massaging the message so that any action leads to their pre-ordained conclusion.

When the narrative shifts against their dominance, the "reasonable" side of the left gets the front page, right until the Overton Window shifts again, where the crazies immediately burst onto the scene. It's not flip-flopping, just constantly ensuring that eyeballs are on them, and not anyone who actually opposes them.

At the end of the day, even the engineers, let alone philosopher kings, are incompetent to rule because most of them simply do not understand other humans well enough to manipulate them.

If a society keeps devolving, you get people willing to kill others in mass quantities that will rule. Sociopaths with some psychopaths among them. The engineers and philosopher kings will work for them.

Theodore Veblen imagined such a society run by engineers in Engineers and the Price System. Read it if you want. Heinlein poked some fun at it in the short story, The Roads Must Roll but apparently was a true believer in it at some point previously.

There's also the Peter Principle at work here. Pick a field like chemistry. Bob is a chemistry expert. He's on the board at his university, he goes to conferences around the world, he's on television 3 times a week, and he is on calls with government officials daily, many times.

What is one thing he ISNT doing anymore? Chemistry.

Thus experts tend to be the ones that would rather be in meetings and hobnob rather than do what they are experts at.

They already have that port in the Crimea, Sevestapol. At this point the status quo is fine for them, and they were looking forward to selling lots of gas to the Germans or anyone else.

The problem is the Neocons, EU and various Eu state leaders keep thinking they can build an empire in East Europe. Ask Charles XII of Sweden how that turned out, and he actually had an army.

They basically stopped testing for flu. Nationally. That does not mean there was no flu. Early on, first week of march. Flu tests came back both A and B. It should only be one or the other. In retrospect, seems that that the vid was popping both flu tests. Its shouldn't have. So, its something of a semantic argument either way.

Posted by: your expertise varies at December 29, 2021 04:41 PM (FRov5)

No, it really isn't a semantic argument at all. A semantic argument is an argument that hangs on a word or term having differing meanings or implications depending on the context or origin of the argument. "having the flu" and "having Covid" are two distinct, objectively different ideas. Nor is it a trivial thing that one can actually tell that a false (+) PCR is a false (+) if one is interested in looking, and I gotta tell you, the College of American Pathologists was all over this issue.

423 "Remember, Trump kept Fauci on.

As much as I hate Biden, I can't get passed Trump not flushing this turd down when he had the chance.

Posted by: Cameroom"

Trump didn't have the ability to fire Fauci. Fauci isn't a political appointee, but rather an employee of the FedGov, with specific protections against being fired for political reasons. In order to fire him, he would need to go through the FedGov employment system, and fire him for cause (like dereliction of duty, theft, etc. You know, non-political reasons to fire someone), and that would have been insanely difficult to establish cause. Like, prohibitively difficult.

Firing a FedGov employee is stupidly difficult and Byzantine, and that's when clear cause is established.

Fauci, for all his faults, never established clear cause to fire him. Disagreement with POTUS? That's political, and protected. You'd have to establish that he misused his power in some way, or stole something, or was grossly derelict in duty (and no, a list, even a littany of mistakes doesn't count, because they could be argued to have been made in "good faith" and therefore weren't dereliction).

428 Fauci and thousands of others should be tried and hanged for going all-in on vaccines as THE solution, and staying with that plan up to now. They believed they had what was first required: Safe and effective vaccines. They bet that when safe and effective vaccines were widely available, at no charge, everyone would DEMAND to get jabbed, to save their lives. The failure of the first part of the bet torpedoed the high vaccination rate part of the bet.

I believe Fauci saw what was coming - where we are now - 9 or 10 months ago. Remember how he and CDC changed the long-standing medical definition of
herd immunity, and kept increasing the percentage of the population needing to be vaxxed to attain herd immunity? I believe his ego and fear of being publicly blamed for the vaxx mess made him and CDC double-down on the vaccine-only plan. They figured that if everyone got vaccinated with a semi-effective vaccine, very, very few people would suffer breakthrough infections, and fewer still would die. Then, Presto! No need for treatments and therapeutics. They convinced Joe that practically everyone needed to be vaxxed for Joe to defeat the virus. Presto! Vaxx mandates by Joe.

504 One Heinlein book I think about a lot is "Farnham's Freehold." When I read it years ago I didn't like the tangent it took. I was expecting something far different. But now it feels strangely prescient.

Yeah, it goes off in a weird direction. A few of his 'transition' stories do that (when he quit doing his Juveniles for Scribner), dunno how or why that happened. Same issue in Podkayne, starts off in one narrative direction and then....wham.

In my professional life of people lying to me, I finally decided to only judge the results, since that seems to have been the intention all along, or at least what was worked for, and what we have to live with anyways.
Omicron may well have been some lab's attempt at a live virus vaccination, wild spread and hellishly dangerous.

512 I like publius/miley updates - no editorializing but just gathering of far flung papers/studies on the dreaded covid. Pretty much lets you read and come to your own conclusions. My conclusiopn is that has been a giant op and cover-up. Weaponized after the covid/flu bug showed up to rid the world of those who opposed the Great Reset efforts. Tump pulled the curtain back on the great OZ and they didn't like it.

Name one bureaucrat that "Biden" couldn't fire if that bureaucrat became unhelpful to "Biden". If that fauci troll became unhelpful he would be gone, unpersoned, and "Biden" would be praised. "Biden" only even exists up to and not beyond the benefit of the party.

Remember when they told us swine flu would kill us all and we had to get the vaxx?
F them and the horse they rode in on.

527 I have no doubt that Dr. Fausti was saying what he knew to be true when he dismissed the idea of universal masking in March 2020. He is not dumb, just a career political technocrat with fascist tendencies. However, he truly revealed himself when he reversed himself and said he only downplayed masks in order to protect first responders' access to masks. In that instance, regardless of what he really believed, he announced to the world that he was willing to lie to us about what was best for our health in order to serve whatever other purpose he deemed important/necessary for his political survival. That was Dr. Fausti's "deal with the devil" and should have been game over for him.

528 "In December, Pfizer purchased Arena Pharmaceuticals for $6.7 billion

IN CASH.

Arena is developing two heart medications.
One, temanogrel, treats damaged smaller blood vessels in the heart. The other, APD 418, improves the heart's ability to pump blood in patients with acute heart failure.

Both are being used in clinical trials and have not yet been approved.

By purchasing Arena, is Pfizer admitting that its mRNA vaccines have dangerous coronary side effects?

If temanogrel and APD 418 receive approval, does Pfizer plan to increase the price to make more profit?"

529 72 As much as I hate Biden, I can't get passed Trump not flushing this turd down when he had the chance.

Trump trusted Fauci because he HAD to - he could not substitute his medical expertise for Fauci's especially once Fauci had been anointed as the savior by the establishment and the media. I suspect that some of the outrageous turns and twists Fauci pulled off were DESIGNED to get Trump to fire him, ala Comey!

530 -"Fauci lied about mask being ineffectual, because he didn't want lowly civilians buying them up and shorting them for medical professionals. (Surprise! He had it right the first time -- they are almost entirely ineffectual, but he didn't know that when he claimed it.)"-

NO. You're looking through the wrong end of the telescope.
Fauci told the medical TRUTH about masks being ineffectual.
He just hadn't gotten his political talking points yet.

The LIE was that Fauci claimed that there weren't enough masks to go around for everyone when there were.
Masks for everyone, were the first markers of control and compliance. When the masks were finally brought out of the warehouses, people were clamoring to get their hands on them.
