President Ice Cream and His Whorish Dum-Dum of a Wife Wish You a Very Trashy Christmas

Trashy Jill Biden's -- I mean, trashy Dr. Jill Biden's -- awful trashy Christmas decorations:

Screenshot (851).png

ahorrorinblue.jfif

The pile of gifts represent all the goods piled up on container ships off of Long Beach that won't get here until February.

But what the hell are those blue globules supposed to be? Is that supposed to be exogenous dopamine being injected into Joe's dying brain?

34 If you saw a picture of those blue fucking disks and were asked what holiday you thought they were celebrating - what would be your answer? Because, I'm not sure I've got one.
Posted by: Clutch Cargo

As I noted long, long ago: Dumb people always think that if something is abstract, that makes it "smart."

And the fishnets. Dr. Jill, this is a Christmas display, not a factory rejects GILF porn video.

Reaboi joked about the atrocious Christmas Gift Bonanza display -- filthy lucre is the reason for the season, you know -- that Joe Biden likes to set up a sexy scenario where he can chase children through a simulated F.A.O. Schwartz.

Compare to Melania's decorations, which the trashy media claimed were trashy:

Screenshot (852).png

Screenshot (849).png

Dr. Jill proved she was a Real Teacher by forcing kids to wear masks while she, of course, ignored masking rules entirely.

She also forced them to sit on the cold floor.

Screenshot (853).png

Below: This kid has the right idea.

Update: Just kidding, it's not real. It's a mix of video of Dr. Jill and old video of a kid yelling in a classroom.

Darnit.

What a magical Christmas it would have been if it had been real.

Exit question: Have you heard your first Christmas song yet? If so, what, when, and where?

I heard mine doing the last bit of supermarket shopping for Thanksgiving. It was Felice Navidad. Not sure who it was. Wasn't Jose Feliciano or whoever.

277 Certainly wildly better than some sort of postmodern mobile that looks like a piece of off-the-rack corporate HQ lobby art and mountains of fake presents.

...

That's the major thing about the decorations - they look super corporate. Which is quite a tell given that corporate America are now the enforcement arm of the DNC.

My favorite detail remains that there's supposed to be a stocking on the fireplace for each of Joe's grandchildren, but there's one conspicuously missing for Hunter's crack baby.

that my friend is a completely accurate accent for the lovely hellscape I happen to live in

makes my south philly one sound melodic in comparison!

...but let's go back to the TRAVESTY that was Mare of Easttown ... what the hell was happening there I couldn't follow the convoluted plot b/c the voices were SO BAD. and the clothes?!?! oh come on literally no one dresses like that in Delaware County. also the film locations made no sense it turned Delco into the Haunted Hills or something. Delco in reality is weird enough - use that!

I believe that was last June.

210 Newsweek has, of course, their Newsweek take on the Biden vs. Trump Christmas decorations:

https://outline.com/unKtNV

Note that they say that Biden's decs are a return to more traditional values, as opposed to that arriviste Melania Trump's. They slam the white branch display that the WH featured back in 2017, without showing any pictures of it (guess what: I did, and it look pretty cool to me).

Funny that they don't show any of the pictures that Ace features in this post.

325 How DARE anyone criticize the Portland teacher's union for their innovative proposal to teach four days a week, instead of five, reserving Fridays for "self-study" by students.

Some teacher responses to criticism that this would reduce instructional hours by 20%:

We need to stop worshipping arbitrary instructional minute quotas overseen by the state as some sort of gold standard that is effective in every situation. Our world has been turned upside down and we are still grasping at instructional minutes as if the energy behind those minutes just comes out a teacher's butt

----

Part of what's happened is that we actually had time last year to do our jobs and we realized how much work we had been doing unpaid previously.

Poor babies. As Randi Weingarten has pointed out, teachers are the real victims of Covid.

Portland already has considerably fewer instructional days than most districts.

Not a good look. That's a BIG problem if he tries to run in 2024.

A pilot is responsible for the well being of every passenger on that plane. So what about those kids? He's obviously derelict in his duties, and therefore not a credible witness.

Yeah, I think it's a nothingburger that the MSM is trying to whip into something. The pilot says *everyone* flew on that plane up and down the east coast. He also swore that he never saw anything illegal or even questionable happen on that plane with anyone as long as he was flying it. (oh yeah, don't know if I believe that, but that's his sworn testimony)

So, the Terrible Story is "Yeah, I saw Trump, and he didn't do anything. And I don't remember exactly when and I don't know where he was going."

the white album is hard to rate. it has a lot of good songs but it's so excessive and has a lot of clunkers and fillers so as an album i feel like rating it lower. but it really does have a lot of great songs. maybe it shouldn't matter what "the gestalt of the album" is.

Subjective to be sure but Melinda's is far superior to me.

(guessing on the status of N-M/Nordy's thing, not my daytime gig so to speak)

LOL. Good thing music wasn't corporate in the olden days. It was all purely for the art and records companies didn't make a dime. Come on dude.

622 Trump said years ago that he took one flight on Epstein's plane when his plane was down for service or something. He got a ride from Fl back to NY. This is before he knew what Epstein was doing.

Is there any evidence he took another flight?

Here's an article on it:

https://tinyurl.com/bdd877cm

"While under oath during the Ghislaine Maxwell trial on Tuesday, pilot Larry Visoski Jr. was asked to describe his experience, to which he said "I certainly remember President Trump, but not many people associated with him," adding that he also flew Bill Clinton, Kevin Spacey, violinist Itzhak Perlman, former Senator John Glenn and Prince Andrew. He said that while he was tasked with 'cleaning up' after one of Clinton's flights, he 'never saw any sexual activity' on the plane."

There was a really interesting article a couple of years ago about how the vast majority of hit songs come out of an office complex where people are paid to come up with catchy, trendy hit songs.

It literally works that way. It's not a joke.

625 No, it's not. Music before video was actual music. Concerts were events and nobody gave a shit about boy bands or looks, they cared about the music.

Music got corporate just like everything and got packaged and processed and is as disposable as toilet paper. The music you are sick of came from a golden era of music when it was the music that was important. Those days are long gone.

628 I honestly don't know one single person who goes around saying the Beatles are the greatest band ever out of the blue like oh, say...Rush fans do all fucking day long.

But, basically the same people wh0o don't want to give the Beatles their due are the same kind of lame-asses who see Citizen Kane or 2001: A Space Odyssey or even Star Wars f'rcrysakes, and say "Uhhhhh I don't see what the big deal is."

Of course not cuz all the movies you've seen (or songs you've heard) built on their backs. They took what the Beatle or Wells pioneered and used it in their music, so of course 20 years down the line it sounds like (or sees like) what you already know.

Ok, so he remembered flying Trump. As I said, Trump said years ago that he hitched one ride with Epstein on his plane from FL to NY when Trump's plane was unavailable. I really don't see anything in that statement that counters that.

I grew up around NYC and Trump was ubiquitous. He was a media star in a good way, the media loved him and his picture ran in the NY tabloids on a weekly basis at least. I sure as hell would have remembered seeing him on a flight if I was the pilot.

630 To appreciate The Beatles, you have to have some knowledge and understanding of the musical landscape that existed right before The Beatles invaded America.

You didn't have to live through it, but it helps if you have perspective.
Posted by: JoeF. at November 30, 2021 05:10 PM (mR6Gs)

Very true. The Ramones, Blondie and the like seemed so radical at the time but it was in contrast to how self-indulgent rock had become (7 minute guitar solos and such).

Yea, I don't know to many people who long for the music of Bobby Sherman or David Cassidy.

But you make a good point. That's when music started to go down hill. Hell, the Partridge Family was a corporate makeover of the family band The Cowsills.

634 Every generation has their music that was revolutionary at the time. And every generation thinks that genre is the greatest thing to happen to music. The difference with the 60s music is it never fucking goes away and it is still talked about endlessly 50 years later.

That's why people roll their eyes about yet another Beatles movie. It's not that the band wasn't good, it's just that it's time to move on.
