Politico Poll: Near-Majority Says Biden Mentally Unfit to be President; Majority Says He's in Poor Physical Health

Let's Go 25th Amendment.

This poll was done by nastily partisan leftwinger Celinda Lake -- she's the one that was quoted a lot in the article about Democrat strategists plotting a more "aggressive" campaign to call Republican liars and claim that any attempt to ban CRT would be tantamount to "letting white supremacists write the curricula." She wasn't responsible for that last quote, but she claimed that CRT was Just Another Racist Republican Lie.

She does trash polls for the Democrats, slanted in favor of the Democrats.

And this the best polish she can put on the turd that is sliding down Biden's pantleg.

Only 40 percent of voters surveyed agreed with the statement that Biden "is in good health," while 50 percent disagreed. That 10-percentage-point gap -- outside the poll’s margin of error -- represents a massive 29-point shift since October 2020, when Morning Consult last surveyed the question and found voters believed Biden was in good health by a 19-point margin.

Asked whether Biden is mentally fit, voters are almost evenly split, with 46 percent saying he is and 48 percent disagreeing. But that negative 2-point margin stands in stark contrast to Biden's numbers last October, when voters believed he was mentally fit by a 21-point margin.

Biden turns 79 this weekend, assuming he hangs on that long.

Celinda Lake claims that the public's questioning of Biden's mental fitness -- including SNL doing joke about it (or the closest approximation to jokes that they can manage) -- is due to, what else, Racist Republican Lies.

"["Conservative outlets" are] running a very aggressive campaign on this, and it's bleeding over into the mainstream a little," Lake said. "By and large, the people who believe this are Trump supporters anyway or they've been exposed to the right-wing disinformation machine."

But Politico points out the "right-wing disinformation machine" was also working before the election, and the public had a higher estimation of Biden's mental capabilities.

You know -- when his puppeteers were more able to hide him in the basement all year and "call a lid" every day smartly at 11am.

Before last year's election, independents and voters overall believed Biden was more physically and mentally fit than Trump, whose mismanagement of the pandemic damaged his campaign as the Biden camp embraced social distancing and mostly eschewed large events.

Or medium-sized events. Or small events.

Or just "events," period.

But with Trump gone as a foil for now, Biden is more in the spotlight than ever...

Well, they still hide him, but he's not as hidden. And the public hears him saying things like "The Great Negro."

And then they hear the spin from Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself), "That wasn't on the script he was supposed to read!"

Precisely.

Precisely.

Biden's approval rating is low for this partisan Democrat poll, 44 approving to 53% disapproving. They say the approval rating is "essentially unchanged" over the past few weeks, even though it's fallen from 46% to 45% and now to 44%.

They do not say what the disapproval rating has done. I found that suspicious, so I looked it up on RealClearPolitics: It rose from 51% in the last couple of polls to 53%.

I would not say that approval falling from 46% to 44% and disapproval rising from 51% to 53% -- a net four point shift -- is "essentially unchanged."

Politico notes that other polls show a greater level of concern about the fake president's rotten brains:

A recent Harvard-Harris poll found that 53 percent of voters said they had doubts about Biden's fitness and 47 percent did not. Asked if Biden is too old to be president, 58 percent said he was and 42 percent said he was fit enough.

That may be related to the fact that he no longer has the capacity for coherent human speech:

...

The Morning Consult poll found that voters didn't find Biden a clear communicator by 20 points, they didn't find him energetic by 26 points and they did not find he was a strong leader by 17 points.

Biden's bleeding support from blacks. Or, as Biden might say, from The Great Negroes.

Newhouse noted that Biden is losing support among the most loyal Democratic segment of the electorate: Black voters. Not only does polling show it, Newhouse said -- so did a recent focus group of Black voters in a Southern state who were interviewed to discuss policy issues.

At the trial, I think the judge is deciding whether or not to let the jury see some drone footage they've requested to see again. I think. I'm only half-listening, he's babbling as usual.

Here is the best case scenario. From this meme's lips to God's ears:

Those focus groups probably have a closer estimate to reality overall throughout the country than any poll.

And if blacks, loyal Democratic blacks not just blacks who have been voting Republican for a couple of cycles after Obama disappeared, are turning on Biden, then we're looking at a very red Congress in 2023.

They know. There's no way in hell they don't. The man has had 2 brain aneurisms and operations. He's got to have at least 2 and most likely far more neurologists that see him on a regular basis. Asking dementia questions is a regular part of an examination for elderly and potentially brain-damaged patients.

If he actually did do one of those little one-page tests, they'd shred and burn that sucker.

Draw a clock representing the time. Give him 3 words to remember at the end of a presser. He'll fail the most basic ones at this point, no matter what drugs they pump him with. The slide is noticeable week by week now.

Yeah, back when he was on TV less than a few hours per week, he was in his basement under his "lids" and the press was talking him up constantly while never asking where the fuck the candidate was and why he wasn't saying anything.

If you were to get many thousand public figures to cheer lead every single day about what a great, awesome genius that Mannix fellow is, while I rarely made an appearance and when I did make an appearance I said only finely-honed, fully researched, panel-tested statements to feed into the professional cheer machine, you'd probably find that people had a net-positive impression of me.

163 Legal Insurrection posted that Defense is complaining about the "AMP" program Prosecution used to enhance the video. Specifically, the instruction manual for the program specifically says that it is an INVESTIGATORY TOOL and not a FORENSIC TOOL FOR COURT ROOM USE.

That also goes to the Defense complaint that Prosecution provided them with an even lower resolution version of the video than what was presented on the last day in court. Judge asked Littlefinger if that was true and his response is "that information is not in evidence."

Defense filed a second motion for Mistrial with Prejudice citing the Prosecution withholding evidence and the enhanced imaging problems.

I don't disagree. The GOP's leadership has had no interest in advancing conservative interests ever. Even the rise of the Tea Party was met with swift retribution by the establishment because they were divided and leaderless, making individual members easily manipulated or cast out, leaving us nothing but the anemic Freedom Caucus that became a complete joke pretty quickly.

Still, we have Trump now, and Trump is the most engaged and powerful ex-president in a very long time. He's obviously working on continuing to remake the GOP. I don't think the GOP has proven it is worthy of any of my money and I honestly almost never vote for them, but that doesn't mean that something can't be made of it. We may hate the brand of the GOP, but a red wave building means that it still has purchase amongst many Americans. Trump is trying to use that, and I'm really hoping he succeeds.

I've been saying for a while that there's a fight between the Old Guard in safe blue seats and the young activists. The fallout from Obamacare gutted the party of rising young leadership who could have bridged the gap.

And yes, the panic on election night was the Old Guard dems like Pelosi and Schumer, who would have been the first to go if they'd led the Dems to another humiliation and allowed Trumpism to be vindicated.

369 It's funny that once the subject of SALT came up, libs and the media (BIRM) stopped talking about how Blue States are constantly bailing out and supporting Red States.

No, no, no. SALT caps are unfair, because it means that the blue states subsidize the red states even more.

Particularly funny is watching the Left in Oregon explain how unfair it is that the Federal government limits the deductibility of Oregon state income taxes, when Oregon limits the deductibility of Federal income taxes on state tax returns.

The prosecutor with held the video from the defense and showed it to the Jury during closing arguments claiming it shows rittenhouse pointing his gun at people before the shooting. Doesn't matter that it does not show any such thing, but he with held it from the defense and introduced it during closing arguments which is illegal.

382 This may have already been brought up but Bidet tells another whopper at his infrastructure bill speech. Babbling away about the importance of bridges he claims that he once had a house that burned down with his wife in it. Then clarified, his wife got out okay but a significant part of his house burned down and if there weren't bridges the FD wouldn't be able to get there on time.

1. The fire was in the kitchen only and was put out quickly by the FD.

2. Bridges had nothing to do with the FD getting to his house.

3. His vaccine mandates have cost first responders their jobs, put on non-paid leave, or firehouses having to close down due to lack of staff.

397 I go back to my theory that the steal wasn't a long-planned thing, but was a desperate response to the horrified realization that they were possibly going to lose the House and give Trump two more years with a GOP government.

No, they were working on getting Trump out of office at all costs, a year or more before the election. Pelosi and others let slip once in a while "he's not going to be president". They went all out to get rid of him, what they didn't expect was the cast of clowns and lunatics that they threw out for the primaries to be such pathetic, insane, and disgusting human debris.

So they ended up panicking and pushing Biden through because it was a choice between him and Sanders. And they cannot control Sanders.

___

Here's the problem. Every time Republicans lower taxes they also take millions off the tax rolls altogether. George W. Shrub was proud of this, as if it was something to champion. So what happens then is the millions who pay nothing will happily vote for more "free" shit, because for them it truly will be free. Trump did this as well, got a lot of people to pay nothing.

I don't know why they always feel the need to do this. Just lower the fucking rates for everyone. But stop with all the tax credits that allows people to get to $0 taxes paid.

Embrace Trumpism - which they can't do, because the establishment hates it.

The culture, by and large, does not want government to dictate morals. They want government out of their pockets and out of their bedrooms. They also, in huge majorities, want those with peckers to piss in one bathroom and those with va-jay-jays to piss in another. Finally - the vast majority wants to quit giving out free checks and everybody to get off their ass and take one of these jobs that every store sign is begging for.

Trump understood that. That's culture.

The shutting down of six states' counts all at the same time was just one planned option available to then should the vote counts in swing state not look good despite all of the other schemes they implemented to get enough votes for a Biden win (a Plan Z -- the last, desperate option when all else fails).

Up until 2020 voter count had been pretty stable for a long time in presidential elections. Both candidates got landslide victory amounts that would normally only be explained by large crossover voting. The first election in which a US presidential candidate got 70m votes was also the first election in which both candidates got 70m and one got more than 80m.

The total votes exceeded the entire eligible registered voters in 2018.

The real pool of voters is probably still 130-135m voters, not 155m.

I was young and not totally beaten by life into cynicism as I am now so I was outraged that the plaintiff was going to collect on such a flimsy suit. The Toyota samurai saw the writing on the wall and settled. When the judge told the jury that their services were no longer required, they were outraged because they were going to find for the Rising Sun. 562 This latest issue over the Prosecution withholding from the Defense the full resolution drone video and then giving the Defense a low resolution the day after testimony closed is obviously a huge deal as the video is the crux of the provoked argument that if adopted by the jury gets KR convicted. It seems safe to conclude that we now know how the guy who spent 20 hours manipulating the drone video spent part of his time. The of deception here is huge, this is not an innocent accident. The full video has 1920x844 resolution while the suppled one has 480x212. The reduction in resolution is 15.9 times less and my speculation is it was done to lull the Defense into complacency. This video's has been presented as forensically significant when it is essentially fiction. And by the Prosecution withholding the full resolution version sure seems to know this video is complete BS. And the Judge fiddles around with tales of yore while the jury wants to see this video. This is a most serious moment.

564 The Dems stole it strategically where they had to, GA, AZ, NV and PA. They stole just enough to get over the top. That is indisputable. But it was in the thousands of votes, not millions.

565 Given the population increases significantly every 4 years, pretty much every president gets the most votes. Again, it doesn't prove shit.

Not by that much. If you look at a graph of votes for president they go up each election then there's a huge spike in 2020, far beyond the average rise. Again: Biden. 81 Million votes.

And again: its not absolute proof its an argument that helps build the whole case, and its pretty strong.

Look, I get it, nobody wants to admit or believe that we were witnesses to the Democrats blatantly stealing an election. Nobody wants to believe its possible, let alone so blatant and obvious right in front of our faces.

The intentionally ran a virtual vegetable knowing the fix was in -- and rubbing our faces in it, proving that they could elect a rutabaga and get away with it, and knowing that we now know it.

Once the American people swallowed that obvious election theft, that was it. Everything that happens from here on out is because they got away with this. When future historians write about the half-century (or more) of American tyranny before its final collapse, the 2020 election will be the starting marker. Having gotten by with that, the authoritarian socialists are safe to proceed with all plans. They know there will be no check on them ever again.

567 That is indisputable. But it was in the thousands of votes, not millions.

It had to be millions, because Biden won by several million votes. Either he really won and they just padded the results, or they cheated by millions. There's no third option here.

568 I'd also like to hear how Pennsylvania added about 900K votes, from the 6 million total in 2016. Nice 15% increase in four years - I guess the Keystone State just screws a lot.

Bull. Shit.

569 A long while ago I saw a comic strip of two old people walking and they come to a wishing well. They both throw coins in, and the next frame shows they've both disappeared. That's Joe and kamela.

570 Lets talk Pennsylvania - not for you, but for our "I don't believe the election was stolen" friend. FYI - just verify all my numbers with whatever site you fancy.

In 2020 - final results were about 3.46 million Biden, 3.38 million Trump. OK - about 80K votes out of seven million.

On election night - you can check this - Trump had a 700K lead with 5 million of those votes already cast.

So who would like to tell me - of those last 2 million votes, that the margins went 2-1 for Biden ?

No fraud my ass.

I think Trump legit won PA. That state was the most brazen for the steal, but way too much focus was on AZ and GA.

571 Wasn't it zombie who, several years ago, said not to write her off as a losing dumbass, because she was power-hungry and had a lot of people supporting her?

So is Jill Biden. I see her as a vicious bitch with no qualms about cutting someone off at the knees. Look who she married and promoted his Presidential run. Of all people, she knows he isn't right and doesn't care. I'm not sure how Kamala battles that.

BTW, where is Zombie?

572 It will be done at the WH, Camp David, or Joe's Delaware house.

573 During the election, everyone knew that Biden was a place holder. They hid him from the public and told everyone he was moderate in order to eliminate Bernie. COVID was a Godsend for the democrats.

But because no one in the upper echelons of the Democratic party thought Biden would make it all four years let alone run for a second term, the cage match for VP commenced. Jim Clyborn won that contest by endorsing Biden in SC thus giving him the nomination.

But he didn't do it for free. There was a price to be paid: He and the democratic Black caucus got to pick the VP.

And I'm thinking there may have been a deal that Biden stepped down at some point. Don't know.

Fast forward.

If there was a deal for Biden to step down, it seems that Biden reneged as soon as he got in office. From the gitgo, he tried to sabotage Kamala and now Kamala is fighting back.

Who knows where this ends, but I'm making my popcorn a large.
