Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | CNBC Poll: Biden Falls to 41% Approval as Public Loses Hope on Covid and the EconomyWelcome back to the Obama Economy. Only worse this time, somehow. ... Just 31% say now is a good time to invest in stocks, the lowest since 2016. Jay Campbell, partner at Hart Research Associates, the Democratic pollster for the survey, points out that Biden's numbers on the coronavirus are particularly worrisome since he believes Biden's perceived ability to deal with the pandemic was a major reason for his election. ... The survey clearly shows Americans noticing the supply and labor shortages that are plaguing businesses. Some 60% of the public say goods that were once easy to buy are in short supply, including food and groceries, paper products, and cleaning products. Also, 66% appear to have noticed labor shortages, saying they have experienced stores closed on odd days or at strange hours when they normally would be open.Meanwhile, network "news" shows are embargoing the polls. The Joe Biden presidency is collapsing and the networks don’t want you to know about it. Two just-released polls have found the Democrat at record lows. But between the evening newscasts on Tuesday and the morning shows on Wednesday, offered zero coverage of the very bad news for Biden.Rasmussen has even more bad news for President Turnip Mash: clear majorities do not believe he's mentally competent to hold the job of president, nor that he's even making his own decisions. Rasmussen Reports surveyed 1,000 likely voters and asked, "How confident are you that Joe Biden is physically and mentally up to the job of being President of the United States?" A full 50 percent said they are "not at all confident," while another eight percent said "not very confident." In fact, only 27 percent said they were "very confident" Biden was up to the job of being president, while 14 percent said "somewhat confident." Basically, only 41 percent of voters believe Biden has what it takes mentally and physically to be president. Rasmussen also asked, "Is Joe Biden doing the job of president, or are others making decisions behind the scenes?" Only 38 percent believe Biden is making decisions, while a clear majority of 53 percent say others are making decisions for him.More from John Nolte at the link. Comments(Jump to bottom of comments)1

"Loses hope?" Nah. 41% approval ain't in "lost hope" territory. It's in "extremely annoyed or angry" territory. As we get deeper into angry territory, the polls will fall. Once we get to "lost hope," his (or whoever the figurehead is at the moment) will be in the high 80s for approval because they'll stop polling altogether and just make up results.

They knew exactly what they were getting when they voted for him. But their TDS was stronger.
Exactly. Beat Trump was all they cared about, because he was threatening their grift, he was ruining everything by reversing their gains, and he was succeeding at pushing back. Not a lot, but some, and that would not be allowed. You have to understand, after 8 years of Obama, President Hillary was going to seal the deal. They were THIS CLOSE ][ to locking it all in forever. Trump ruined it and he had to pay. They all knew Biden was an idiot, a scumbag, a corrupt piece of grifting trash, a child molesting pervert, a sneering ahole, and losing what little mind he had. You should have seen my left wing buddies faces when I told them Biden was going to be Obama's VP choice. No way he'd pick that loser. They knew. But any cost, any price, any method to beat Trump. He was the nominee, so he's their guy, to the wall, forever, no matter what. Posted by: Christopher R Taylor at October 21, 2021 03:59 PM (KZzsI) 18

Posted by: FenelonSpoke at October 21, 2021 03:58 PM (ueGNX) ++++ I have a guess on this. A few weeks back, Ace posted another poll thread, but about the media. It said that 7% had a high degree of trust and that about another quarter or so had a moderate degree of trust in the press. The 27% are a mixture of hardcore political hacks who want their bread to keep bettered (no more than 1%, if I had to guess) and the rest are those people who still trust the news for some reason. I suspect that the overlap on the "thinks Biden is very competent" and the "moderate to high degree of trust in the press" Venn Diagram is significant. Has anyone taken a poll to see how party affiliation has shifted since the election? I'm assuming that a bunch of people who would have called themselves moderate Democrats last year now consider themselves Independents and some anti-Trump Independents might now call themselves Republicans. That would change the weight that is given to each group and thus the outcome of the polls.

I think a huge part of the problem is the number of people who know that the FNM spin for the Democrats but have no idea of how effective the FNM are at smothering the reporting of facts inconvenient to the commiecrats.
I think this because that was me before 2008. When I found some web news sources and especially AoSHQ and learned how coordinated the FNM are and how they all ignore inconvenient stories it was a shock to my psyche. Also my 81 year old dad still watches hours of local FNM. Nickle is used for currency because of its oligodynamic effects against virus, bacteria and fungii. Back when we weren't a nihilistic society that actually cared about the well begin of others and society as a whole, items that were handled a lot were deliberately made of metals that kill viruses and bacteria. Brass door knobs are now made of steel and aluminum. The copper in brass is antimicrobial. Silverware was made of silver. Stainless steel is not oligodynamic. Real silverware reduces the spread of disease. Stainless steel just cleans nicer. We don't care about health, we care about convenience. Yep. Everyone on all sides of the hiring process have become assholes. I've conducted phone screens where you can hear their keyboard clacking as they enter your question into google, then their answer is the top response from google. I've heard people flushing the toilet as I'm talking to them. I've had people ghost me at the interview. I've had people call after they arrive an hour late with no notice, angrily asking why I didn't meet them at the door. I've had people in the interview room fail the simplest coding question I can think of, even though their resume says they've been working in the industry with that specific technology for a decade or more. My brother interviewed at the state 15 years ago for a job at IT. They were just looking at the internet and they asked him how he'd go about setting up wireless for the whole city.
He answered the truthfully (based on his considerable expertise and training at that point): You cannot, yet. The technology isn't there. And it wasn't, then. But one of the guys at the interview was the man in charge of this particular operation and it was his baby, his big project and he did not respond well to this information. Joel said later that he should have just fed them a line of nonsense and technobabble just to get the job and eventually it would work, but he'd have the cushy job, pay, and benefits for all those years until it came to reality. I've gone blank in a coding interview before. When someone is struggling, I give them time to think, but if they're obviously panicking or take a long time with no progress, I'll start walking them through the thinking process, then I would start giving hints, then if that doesn't help, I'll even write parts of the code and invite them to fill in parts. For them, its more "don't spit or get stuff in my mouth" than virus protection.
I think it has more to do with incompetent management making a Blue Ribbon Committee of staff and consultants to Come Up With Something. They sit around knowing that this is a worthless mission since influenza has been around since the dawn of history and it isn't like today's management is the first one to look at ways of reducing the spread of infection. Here's my contribution to employers acting badly.
I had one place assure me multiple times that the interview would be with one person, not a group. I, of course, immediately assumed that meant it would be a group interview. Sure enough, as I was walked back to the interview, there was a smirk by the guy leading me back and "oh Person X is in court so sorry it's going to be a group interview instead." I smiled back and said "Yes. That's what I assumed. I read the same how to test an applicant articles as you do." That brought everyone up cold. There was also the place that had me cool my heels for 45 minutes. I figured out where the camera was about 15 minutes in and then, when I finally had it, I took out some paper and wrote "I know you're watching me" and held it up. The guy I was supposed to be interviewing with came out like two minutes later and was laughing oh you figured it out. I shrugged and told him that the only reason I stayed is because I wanted to tell him directly that if a company starts with playing games like that, there is no way I would trust them and I walked out. Three years later he was busted for having cameras in the women's bathroom. Posted by: alexthechick - Boobs and hysteria at October 21, 2021 05:08 PM (GbPPJ) 409

Of course Biden isn't making any decisions. He can't remember anything from day to day. Mark Belling of WISN 1130 radio made a great point about Biden few days ago. The man keeps telling his Amtrak buddy story so many times even though he's been called out about how his friend "Ang" couldn't have talked to him about his million mile Airforce2 record etc... He's been lying about that so long, he just keeps repeating it over and over. he CAN'T REMEMBER TO STOP TELLING THE SAME LIE! Now if this clown president can't even remember to STOP REPEATING a lie he's been called out on several times and been reminded by his staff not to talk about it, WHAT THE HELL ELSE ISN'T HE REMEMBERING?! He can't even remember to shit in the morning, let alone remember any major current events. He can't even remember his briefing before he gets in front of a camera, yet he's running the show?!?
That's why Turnip mash Brain's poll numbers keep cratering, even the normies and his own "supporters" are seeing this and internalizing it even if they don't actually put 2 and 2 together.
