    22 From the tech thread...

Apparently China produces 85 pct of the worlds magnesium supply and they have instituted production curbs so the world supply is drying up.

So consequently, aluminum billets, which magnesium is hardener, may be in serious short supply.

Coupled with the chip shortage, you may see every automaker cut production or stop producing all together on every new car line.

If you need a car, you should probably get it now.

24 Wow, a linked article at that "inject all the Kulak Kidz" piece:

"The bottom line is that after the second dose, 100% of Phase 1 subjects who received the Moderna vaccine had either a mild or moderate local and a mild or moderate systemic side effect from the vaccine. That's right, 100%."

    https://tinyurl.com/4yvkzk2y

I'm guessing those "minor" side effects aren't routinely reported.

    2 options:
    1 - Lie
2 - Lower cases by not testing asymptomatic people. Lower cases further by testing for the flu and calling it that, if positive. Lower deaths by treating early with drugs known to work, like HCQ and Ivermectin.

"federal officials plan to discuss making smaller-dose versions available to the nations 28 million children between the ages of 5 and 11."

This is probably, sadly, more true than not. I don't have a school aged kid anymore, but I would never inject my kid with experimental drugs for a condition he has next to zero chance of dying from. But plenty of Karens will.

    ----------

Lizzy, the problem will be getting a court to rule properly on this. Everything about these mandates is illegal and they know it, but they are going forward anyway. Breyer turned down the Maine case already.

My husband and daughter work for (different) federal contractors and they both have until COB tomorrow to get their religious exemption requests in. The problem for my husband is that even if he gets the exemption from his employer (which he will), the government client has now said that no one without the vaccine can enter their buildings even with an exemption. My husband would be unable to do his job and fears the next step would be that he loses his clearance.

We are praying for any and all vaccine mandates to be struck down. We need a miracle.

I am noticing a bit of pushback within my family. My DIL changed her mind and allowed us to visit with the grands yesterday (even though we remain unshot). Actually, she was almost back to normal - not as freaked out about it all.

Mind you, DIL wanted us to get the shot so my 2 and 4 yr old grands would be protected. Yeah, I know.

But, she is not as hot as she once was to have the kids get the vax.

It's grotesque. There's never been a trial in children. No long-term findings. The findings from young people (adolescents and young adults) are not promising. The risks adolescents face from the vaccine are likely higher than the risks they face from COVID. For young adults and especially young men, the risks are still likely higher from the shots, especially considering that 2-3x annual boosters are coming. You get to face the risk twice a year and compound the problem, all while your COVID risk remains flat. It's obscene.

But at least adults can consent. Children can't. Given the problems with older kids, expanding the shots to include younger kids is despicable.

110 This new name ... will clarify the company as a conglomerate, with ambitions beyond social media. The Facebook app might be the cornerstone of the company, but Zuckerberg has been very clear that the future of the company belongs to the metaverse.

WTF is the "metaverse?" I read on in the linked article, but they don't define the term directly. It appears that "metaverse" is the name for interactive, mutual, multi-participant virtual reality schemes - like meetings, concerts, etc. - and Facebook has a bunch of experimental offerings to make it happen.

Sounds great. I get to stay at home, play in a simulacrum and enjoy an ersatz life. Sounds ideal for when I need to escape from my 500 sq. ft. efficiency apartment owned by Blackrock because the hum of the refrigerator I'm renting from GE Capital is bothering me but I can't leave because we're on Round 5230 of public health/climate change lockdowns, yet I still want to enjoy a cup of pseudo-coffee delivered by drone from Amazon to keep the chill at bay because there's a gas shortage - so I might as well drink it with "friends" I have never met in real life by "meeting" them in a VR space.

130 I think everyone has to demand info from China on how the heck they've kept cases and deaths so low since the beginning of the WuFlu epidemic

Pretty simple. They are actually telling the truth.

This is a virus/disease with 99.74% recovery rate. The USA medical community has been lying about everything to do with this Plandemic from the very beginning. PCR test that does not work and was never intended as a diagnostic tool has been used from the very beginning - and is still being used through 12/31/21. "Cases" are supposed to be "positive test (from a PCR test that does not work) + symptomatic". USA medical community has been calling any "positive test" as a "case" since very beginning.

We also know they are lying about the "COVID death" count. Deaths "with COVID" and "from COVID" are all counted as "COVID deaths". 94% of "COVID deaths" are those with comorbidities. Did Colin Powell die from COVID or did he die because of old age and cancer?

After all I have read of the lying and tyranny of the USA medical establishment over the past 18+ months, I believe China more than I believe anyone involved with the Plandemic in the USA.

Got a notice from school that, since DC requires student-athletes over 12 to be vaxxed, any kid who's unvaxxed (no matter what the policy is in his/her jurisdiction) can't play in games held in DC. Lots of public & private schools have mandatory testing for the unvaxxed kids, as well.

    163 This is a virus/disease with 99.74% recovery rate.

I hate that statistic being thrown around, mainly because of the reasons you attached in that the "recovery rate" has an awful lot of other considerations attached to it.

When saying "99 point whatever" you are reinforcing the idea that this is a binary disease. That everything about it is all about the virus and nothing more. No comorbidities, no age selection, no connection to metabolic health, no protocol for early treatment.

Furthermore, what is meant by "recovery"? The current policy is to let the virus do as much organ damage as possible then stick the victim on an vent until death so that the "hospital" can collect the bounty money.

It isn't like you wake up sick, then are totally healed or dead. The longer this shit festers in the body untreated the more organ damage happens, as for the heart, the damage is permanent.

Current medical procedure is meant to maim and kill.

That has not been true in an extremely long time. My Lincoln has 150k. It will hit 200k before the transmission needs major service or rebuild. The motor will keep going to 400k and it will be clapped out and not worth repairing by 450k, but that's 4x higher than the old assumption of 100k.

My other car has only 50k on it, and I expect it to get to a quarter million easily. I'll be furious if I have to get rid of it before the 250k mark. Any modern car that can't get to 250k is a failed product.

How do we know which information is true and which information is part of the BS narrative? Agreed. Though I think it has been 100% political from the very beginning. Recall that the HCQ "fish tank cleaner" narrative was put out early on, I think around April 2020 after President Trump brought it up as a successful treatment. Not to mention, everyone in the medical industry - including Fauci himself - knew from the beginning that masks are useless. Yet they have been mandating them anyway.

I still believe this has been a political op from the start.

225 Vaers says 16K deaths from COVID shots. Various studies say that normally only 2-10% of adverse reactions actually get reported.

Conversely we know that at least half of the reported 700K deaths from COVID weren't. They had COVID but died from something else.

So it is possible, if unlikely, that more people have died from the clot shot then from COVID, and the numbers are almost certainly within an order of magnitude.

Also mentioning my own short published fiction; I don't know if that will help or hurt, but it shows my experience with the written word.

229 The car dealers have to be sweating bullets right now.

    ---

To the contrary, car dealers are making tons of money right now. They don't have to discount anything. In fact many are adding on to sticker price. In some cases thousands of dollars. Plus, they are just taking orders so they don't have any floor planning costs on inventory just sitting around.

And the OEM's are loving this because they no longer have to offer incentives. They may be gone forever.

Everybody wins...except the poor schmucks who absolutely have to buy a car right now. Even used cars bring in a better profit margin than new.

I bought a new car in August when there were still some incentives, the dealer still offered a discount and I got stupid money for my trade. In retrospect I probably got the deal of a lifetime.

Priority Mail is a different product. It is domestic airmail with a shorter delivery window than first class or media mail - and it used to work. Priority Mail would always arrive 2-3 days before first class. Not anymore, though. All mail is now the same class of service with different prices. Might as well send it mule class, since now it all behaves the same way regardless. If I were the shipper, I'd be making refund demands at this point.

269 So, I saw the Dave Chapelle comedy special, "The Closer" last night, and -

Eh. One, it wasn't funny. A few laughs here and there, but continually amusing? Not even close.

Basically, it was an hour or so of Chapelle begging for everyone to get off his back and other Black entertainers back, cuz he just lo-o-o-oves him some trannies and gays and is feminist as hell. Oh, and he just hates white people and has always been fighting against them.

So, this was a (terrified?)Chapelle pledging allegiance to the New Woke Cultural Dictatorship. Along with stories of him being wonderful to trannies that sounded...well, let's say embellished at best.

It was cringe-inducing. Not a whole lot different than if "they" told Chapelle if he danced a buck and wing while singing "Dixie", he could still have his safety and a career.

If that sounds entertaining to you, have at it.

My theory is that President Trump was overwhelmed with bad advice and sabotage and political pressure. Bad advice on whom to trust with the information regarding SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19, sabotage from everyone in the Deep State and political pressure from people likely telling him ways to handle the Plandemic which would help him survive the sabotage and succeed in re-election.

As someone who routinely reviews resumes to screen potential hires within my department, I can tell you this... 95% of resumes that are given to us from HR are either just plain BS with keywords inserted to get the applicant through the initial filtration process, or filled with extraneous BS unrelated to the position.

And for me, nothing will get you shit canned faster than being revealed as someone who has embellished their resume.

My suggestion FWIW, is that you generate a work history document with relevant experience and durations for each position or role you've held, and relevant training or certifications you've accumulated. This might be controversial, but for ESG purposes, many companies have been doing Equity Promotions of fully incompetent people to management positions. Furthermore, more and more of a company's efforts are being redirected to virtue signaling rather than core operations. Not too many companies are expanding, rather they know that they can jack up prices and let Supply and Demand fix their balance sheet problems incurred from 2020 Government attacks on business.

In 2010 alone, she got me in for 4 different interviews at Chrysler (now Stellantis).

When I received a job opening through a different headhunter late in 2010, I asked if Linda could submit me for the position instead of the person who sent the job opening to me. Within a couple days, I had an interview and I ended up getting the job (which I maintain today).

When I found out about the triplets, I felt like: It's not the back of a pickup at 16, but now I'm going to have to move to Staten Island. I'll never leave my house because I'll have to care for these children. I'll have to start shopping only at Costco and buying big jars of mayonnaise. 362 As for sex at the parents' house . . . well, Mrs. Wolfus No. 2 and I visited her father in Denver before we were married. There was no way we were going to hold off making love for that long. Besides, her father was only about 12 years older than I was and was cool about a lot of things (a pro nonfiction writer, a gun nut, a car nut). But that wasn't a "quick visit"; we were there for a week.

363 some here were posting what looked like a legit study ... people over 65 had like 80% vaccination rate, and were like 60% of the deaths. ... so yes, less than the "expected" 80% if there was no "benefit" to the vax.

BUT, benefit in quotes because that is only in regards to dying from Covid. (and assuming any data is not fudged so unvaxxed more likely to be counted as Covid death). The "benefit" has to be weighed against the risks of the jabs. There is some short term individual risk probably worth it for the comorbidity laden person.

But almost certainly not worth it for young healthy people for multiple reasons. And none of that is well known, especially longer term risks of the jabs. The social risk appears to be the vaxxed are more likely to spread Covid asymptomatically .... maybe that is OK in that if we don't have herd immunity, they will spread covid so we reach it. ... Then they will claim the vax worked. The big killer is shutdowns and the obedience training ... with their goal of 100% mortality rate for Americans still clinging to their Liberty.

"The bottom line is that after the second dose, 100% of Phase 1 subjects who received the Moderna vaccine had either a mild or moderate local and a mild or moderate systemic side effect from the vaccine. That's right, 100%."

I'm guessing those "minor" side effects aren't routinely reported.
