CNN Medical Reporter Sanjay Gupta Appears on Joe Rogan's Podcast, and Gets Grilled About Why CNN Lied About Him Taking a "Horse Dewormer"

When Joe Rogan caught covid, he took a course of monoclonal antibodies as well as Ivermectin. I think he also took HCQ.

All were prescribed by his doctor.

When he bragged he'd shrugged off covid and was healthy after three days, the leftwing media, including the Clickbait Nonsense Network CNN, claimed he had taken a "horse dewormer."

This was a complete lie, of course. Ivermectin is in fact prescribed by veterinarians for horses and cows as an anti-parasitic, but it's also prescribed to humans, and of course Joe Rogan got the human form of the drug.

Not the horse form.

Nevertheless, the Clickbait Nonsense Network called it a horse dewormer.

horsedewormerdonlemon.png

This was a defamatory lie. It's so defamatory that Rogan is considering suing CNN for defamation.

Sanjay Gupta made an ill-advised trip to Joe Rogan's podcast where he was forced to answer uncomfortable questions about his employer's constant "gleeful" lies and defamations.

"By the way, I'm glad you're better," Gupta said.

"Thank you," Rogan responded. "You're probably the only one at CNN who's glad... The rest of them are all lying about me taking horse medication."

"That bothered you," Gupta grinned.

"It should bother you too," Rogan shot back. "They're lying at your network about people taking human drugs versus drugs for veterinary."

"Calling it a 'horse dewormer' is not the most flattering thing, I get that," Gupta conceded.

"It's a lie," Rogan pushed back. "It's a lie on a news network... and it's a lie that they're conscious of. It's not a mistake. They're unfavorably framing it as veterinary medicine."

That language by Rogan makes me think he's consulted a lawyer about the basis for a lawsuit.

"Why would they lie and say that's horse dewormer?" Rogan asked. "I can afford people medicine motherf---er. It's ridiculous! It's just a lie! Don't you think that a lie like that is dangerous on a news network when you know that they know they're lying?... Do you think that that's a problem that your news network lies?"

"What did they say?" Gupta asked.

The podcast host first told Gupta that his ivermectin was "prescribed to me by a doctor," forcing the CNN correspondent to say the drug "shouldn't be called" horse dewormer.

"Does it bother you that the network you work for out and out lied, just outright lied about me taking horse dewormer," Rogan grilled Gupta.

"They shouldn't have said that," Gupta admitted.

"Why did they do that?" Rogan asked.

"I don't know," Gupta responded.

"You didn't ask? You're the medical guy over there!" Rogan exclaimed.

"I didn't ask," Gupta said. "I should've asked before coming on this podcast."

Gupta denied Rogan's claim that CNN made the claims with "such glee" before playing a clip of "OutFront" anchor Erin Burnett calling ivermectin a "livestock drug."

"I don't think Erin had glee," Gupta reacted.

"Well, it's more Brian Stelter who was the gleeful one," Rogan replied, referring to CNN's leftwing media guru. "The point is that's a lie."

"It can be used for humans! I get it," an uncomfortable Gupta exclaimed.

"Not just could be used for humans- is often used for humans along with all the other drugs that I took. All human drugs," the podcast host said. "They know it's a human drug and they lied. It's defamatory."

"Yeah, they shouldn't have done that," Gupta reiterated. "I don't know if it's defamatory."

"I bet it is," Rogan asserted. "It's a lie."

Rogan wanted to know what else the Clickbait Nonsense Network might also lie about to please its ultrapartisan shitlib viewers:

"My point is you're working for a news organization. If they're lying about a comedian taking horse medication, what are they telling us about Russia? What are they telling us about Syria? Do you understand that that's why people get concerned about the veracity of the news?" Rogan pressed Gupta before the CNN correspondent, again, conceded he did not take a horse dewormer.

19 when pewdiepie's daily views exceeded those of an average network, suddenly the Wall Street Journal did a hit on him to find two (2) incidents where he had Said a Dirty Word.

These attacks are to scare off advertisers from their competition to convince businesses to only advertise on "safe" networks. With tiny audiences.

20 and of course Joe Rogan got the human form of the drug.
Not the horse form.

++++
Not that it matters. Ivermectin is Ivermectin. It's the same stuff in terms of active ingredients. Technically the veterinary lines have lower quality control standards than the lines for human production, but that doesn't matter either because the people running agricultural lines won't be in business for long if they're pumping out substandard or dangerous products that threaten the livelihoods of their customers.

Now, this nuance may matter if Rogan is feeling litigious (and I hope he is), but it doesn't matter to the core argument about Ivermectin being the target of a coordinated international hit job.

Rogan was very aggressive with Gupta. I'll give Gupta that. He wasn't angry, he wasn't unhinged, he wasn't about to "hurtle himself across the table" and throttle him. He was, though, aggressive. He didn't let go of the points he wanted Gupta to make (like "do you think it is a problem that your network openly and gleefully lied about Ivermectin, called it a 'horse dewormer' and ignored its huge legacy of human treatment?") and cornered Gupta like the dog that he is until Gupta answered the question straight.

But there's a big difference between aggression - which is fine - and violence. There was no violence. Was Gupta discomforted by the interview? Probably, yeah. He got pressed hard on specific issues in which his own credibility and honor were held up for inspection, and this was done by an interviewer with more views that Gupta's whole network. That probably was uncomfortable and stressful and unpleasant for him. But it wasn't, at any point, violent or approaching violence or moving toward violence.

These assholes need to get their heads straight. If that interview was borderline violent, then both speech and violence have lost all meaning and all distinction.

This is the logical progression. 60 Your Honor, this was in no way defamation by the network. Since the topic of the drug Ivermectin became a hot-button issue earlier in the year, it has been described as "horse dewormer" not just by our network, but by most or all media networks, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization, and countless other major health and media organizations. The drug Ivermectin is also, among other things, and anti-parasitic treatment - that is, a dewormer - for horses and other animals.

Given the reality of Ivermectin's use as a horse dewormer and the common description of the product's use for that purpose in various media and health organizations over the past year, it is clear that the drug's name - "Ivermectin" - and it's description - "Horse Dewormer" - are, in narrow context, synonyms. "Horse dewormer" has evolved over the past year into a slang term or expression that means "Ivermectin." Using a slang or other colloquial term to describe something is not defamatory.

I am sure Your Honor agrees, and can also rest assured that the check is the mail.

85 I think Rogan had this guy on because he was told by a lawyer that tho it was defamatory it would be difficult to quantify any damage done. If Rogan was a Dr himself or some other profession where his taking a veterinary medicine despite warnings by health officials not to could do damage to their position and/or income.

For a suit to be successful there must be proven damage done by the defamatory statement(s) to the plaintiff.

So he took second best and beat up on a mild mannered Indian Dr.(?) who's just trying to keep his job.

But that's okay. This stuff needs to get out there.

Maybe. Time will tell. Some evidence is starting to point to it. It's a phenomenon (with high incidence of occurrence when prior coronavirus vaccines have been attempted, along with a few others) where the presence of the antibody actually aids reinfection later, resulting in higher viral loads and worse illness than if the vaccine had not been taken.

Approximately, if I understand it properly.

If you would like to keep a stash of medicines for the burning times, many animal medicines are exactly the same as the human version, just not FDA approved. One such example would be fish antibiotics. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it is in the family of tetracyclines.

I disagree. The main problem is that COVID is being handled as an untreatable illness by the medical system. They do nothing to treat it until you're at death's door and then they'll slap you on a vent and see if you pull through.

That's the real issue here in my mind. People may treat the vaccine as the silver bullet that it very clearly isn't, but even that is a subordinate problem because then if they catch it - whether or not it was made worse by the shots - they still get the same official response of "go home and die."

No, we don't know if Rogan's regimen would have saved that guy or anyone else - but we don't know because our system refuses to even consider trying it. It or anything else.

173 Maybe.

I think ADE is also possible even without having had been previously infected with SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19, correct?

From what I have read, in general, the "vaccines" weaken the "vaccinated" person's immune system overall. So in addition to the possibility of ADE, it leaves the "vaccinated" person vulnerable going forward to every other illness as well.

As I've said before, Ivermectin and HCQ were not some crazy things Trump just remembered from his time at Med School.

Ivermectin and HCQ have long been looked at as general purpose antiviral's it's just that the Op could not work if there was something that could ameliorate the virus.

The other reason they were denigrated is good old fashioned greed.

imo they wanted the deaths in order to promote their BigPlan ... they needed fear, so they stopped the most effective treatments, and sent people home till they were too far gone to save (while sure, many recovered despite no treatment).

Another treatment that is now being looked at (using UV internally somehow) was changed by propaganda media into "Trump tells people to drink bleach", a lie that like Trump/Russia, still lives (in MFM and social media) to this day.

That is the other issue, but when they are good, they're as good as Rush, who ran 3 hours (or about 1 hour of actual content and 2 hours of ads, Rush repeating something, goofing off, or talking to his producers about technical issues).

You gotta listen doing other stuff, like washing dishes or folding towels, driving, golfing etc.

BTW, I am extremely skeptical about the stories of many people using horse ivermectin, that Gupta cites. I suspect they are just as serious as the fish tank cleaner stories we heard.

valleyvets.com pretty much stays sold out of livestock ivermectin 1% injectable solution. And the reasons are simple -- no scrip required and you cannot easily find doctors willing to write them for human use here in the US anyways.

Largely because TPTB in gubmint have made it that way. So yes it is being purchased for human use by 100s of thousands of people.

The cutest part is that according to the Norsk plod most if not all of the victims were killed AFTER the guy had been first detained by police but (escaped? walked away?)

Apparently "DROP THE BOW, MOHAMMED TELL" doesn't work too well if the cops aren't equipped or willing to use their own weaponry.

It's also more than a little dishonest - I skimmed it. For instance, Gupta is trying to assert that people who are unvaccinated but have gotten COVID are twice as likely to get reinfected than those who were vaccinated. The CDC report he links to is this one:

https://tinyurl.com/u6scdjr2

However, if you read down to the end of the article, it says that there are at least five limitations (caveats) to the study - which are not small, BTW. In addition, the CDC acknowledges that the 'scientific understanding of natural infection-derived immunity is still emerging' Gupta thinks that linking a CDC article bolsters his argument, and because nobody would read it, he gets away with it. It's not definitive, however.

IVM is one of the most heroically successful *human* medications in history, having greatly reduced a couple of horrid endemic parasitic afflictions in Africa - billions of doses administered (I think it's up to that).

And - Gupta is a sad case. I think he was in the field, in Iraq, and of course instantly jumped in to be of assistance with a US soldier who had sustained a head wound. Incredibly, this normal act was the subject of "controversy", since he was a "journalist". Unbelievable. But when the situation arose, Gupta did the right thing (think it was him). 373 And - Gupta is a sad case. Which is something.

431 "Epidemiologist says that whether we're vaxxed or not, we're all going to get COVID"

For various definitions of "Get Covid". Those that have strong immune systems, and/or already have B-cells (T-cells?) from previous Covid variations, may "Get Covid" and never notice, or "get it" in such small amounts that they won't even register as having gotten it.

Some of the highly vaxxed areas seem to be getting bigger outbreaks, even if death rates are marginally lower. (Israel, Norway, Vermont?)

One study many here referred to showed for those over 65, 60% of Covid hospitalizations had been vaxxed, BUT 80% of that total (over 65) population were vaxxed.

So there was SOME reduction (from 80%) in hospitalizations, and presumably even more reduction in deaths. (unless vaccines had actually caused deaths not discovered/counted in that Covid study, or caused longer term deaths yet to be seen)

That was the whole point of the last 30 years. The insurance companies screwed the small practitioners on reimbursement, because they could. Then add the government mandate a large capital outlay required to go to electronic medical records (back when these systems were NOT cheap and you also had to refinish your office space in most cases for secure areas. Topped off by the rising cost of malpractice premiums and increasingly complex and arcane medicare, medicaid reimbursement rules backed by justice department prosecutions caused most practitioners small groups to run to the arms of the corporate practices/hospital conglomerate. Much easier to control you doctor now, than it used to be. Not. A. Coincidence.

So you can say such and such is "fact" sure, but your deliberate omission of relevant facts makes your statement a LIE.

441 How do you feel about low grade Beaver tranquilizers?

I try to avoid low-grade beaver.

442 I thought, you know why they did that? Because they believed in science.

Yep. Science told them they needed to kill the inferior to give everyone (else) a better future. And the ethicists said it was good, and they shut up/cancelled/ imprisoned Christian leaders that opposed them.

Oh, and the same thing happened here on a smaller scale. Our Supreme Court ruled it was ok to sterilize untermenschen against their will...for the greater good - this is where the three generations of idiots quote comes from.

I have a suspicion the SC will quote that decision if forced to approve the clot shot mandates.

443 A lot of it is similar to today. They speak of how fun it was to wear their Hitlerjugend uniforms and sing songs about killing Jews etc.

C'mon, everyone loves singing and uniforms. Just look at the Dave Clark Five.

444 The ivermectin in what Rogan took and what is in the horse paste is (probably) exactly the same stuff ... BUT since the horse versions are formulated differently and sold separately, it is only a Lie and Defamation to claim "Rogan took horse medicine".

Gupta of the Junta slithers in response "oh, so that bothered you", about the smear. He deserved an aggressive response ... to an an aggressive smear campaign that goes from CNN to top levels of government.

445 Let me tell you the some "science". Let's just say for the sake of argument that the data is accurate and the artificial inoculations work sort of, for a while.

The very best course of action is for you after you have fully established inoculation is to go out shortly thereafter get exposed and finish the job of vaccination by programming you memory T cells against the whole virus and not just the spike proteins. All immunology tells you this will result in a more robust, longer lasting, and more comprehensive immunity to COVID. Such that you would never likely need a "booster" again.

So why wasn't this recommended by anyone?

446 After 15 minutes I'm yelling, "Get to the point, you blowhard!"

I rage quit one program on XM because the host was guilty of that to a near felony level. One time when he started to get to the point after 30 minutes of filler, he stopped himself to harp on another point.

Nowadays, I'd rather read the transcripts.

This is bad but not as bad as asking a question and then talking over the respondents answer. That would be Hannity.

The FNM tells the Karens they will die if they get the Wu Flu to amp up their terror. It would be hard to square this advice with that propaganda point...

Would you rather see billionaires take joyrides to space or our country make long overdue investments in child care, clean energy, and affordable housing? Its time for a #WealthTax.

All the wealth of US Billionaires is 3.5 Trillion. Would cover Fed expenditures about 6 or 7 months.

Yeah, but imagine how (for instance) Covid would have turned out if we didn't have Google- and Gates- funded researchers creating the virus in the first place, much less creating fake studies showing a) hcq doesn't work, b) ivermectin doesn't work, c) azithromycin doesn't work, d) all the new antihistamines don't work...

e) "But one of the British trials shows that aspirin doesn't work..."

Paradoxically, we'd have a lot more capitalism n this country if taxation forced the Gates and his ilk to live under bridges.

452 I am amazed that CNN Legal let Gupta go on the JRE.
Not JR has admissions from the CNN Chief medical authority that the statements made in multiple broadcasts (with Chyron, so passing through layers of staff/editorial) were factually false.
Interestingly, the "malice" and "intentional falsehood" now seems to boil down to essentially the same question, that JR was alluding to.
Why would you call something that's not a veterinary medicine a veterinary medicine UNLESS your intention was to defame.

I would not want to be either CNN Legal or Gupta at this point.

Misdirection. That isn't the lie they are accused of.

457 The truest face of a liar comes in the form of his defense against accusation.
Lemon reveals that he is OK with lying to you and the whole world.
Stelter reveals that he will say anything his boss tells him to say and he will say it to the whole world.
Gupta reveals that he is OK with consorting with liars and he's OK with allowing them to lie in his area of expertise.

My cat gets the same med for hypertension that I do. I had a cat in a study in the 90s that was testing a human drug for suitability for use with cats. It worked great, but there was a shelf life issue. She got compounded meds for that for the rest of her life.
