The Morning Report - 10/7/21

follwthscausch.jpg

Good morning, kids. The situation we find ourselves in is beyond serious. Not to put too fine a point on it, but what we are faced with is quite literally life and death. All this talk of national divorce let alone the fantasy of reconciliation or even of accommodation is just that. Pure fantasy. They are the party of death. And in order to validate their own existence, we cannot be allowed to live. Our existence, left to its own devices would create a society of happy, fulfilled, prosperous, peaceful and free individuals. Their's, would be exactly the opposite. Why do you think they put up the Berlin Wall?

We are not merely political rivals. As I said yesterday, to view us that way would confer upon us a status of equality and legitimacy that is antithetical to their beliefs. In their eyes, what we believe is racist, sexist, bigoted, xenophobic and homophobic. The land we inhabit has been declared stolen. Our history and heritage a lie and/or a usurpation. Our achievements and prosperity were built on the backs of slave labor and exploitation of the poor. And on and on. This has been a more or less constant drumbeat since at least the end of World War 2, but it has grown louder and more percussive, especially over the last 10 years or so.

Now that they've essentially captured the nation and overthrown our government, along with large swathes of our society, economy and crucially academia, there is no red line they dare not cross. If the actions of James Hodgkinson, BLM/Antifa or even the more than likely malice aforethought actions of Angel of Death Cuomo in slaughtering thousands of elderly nursing home residents doesn't convince you, maybe this will:

Although Jeremy L. Carter was vaccinated against [Chinese] COVID-19, he still caught the virus at the end of August, Lewke detailed. He became sick enough to be hospitalized at Rochester General Hospital and continued to deteriorate to the point where he was placed on a ventilator.

After consulting with Carter's primary care doctor, Carter and his daughter Jill Alvarado wanted to try Ivermectin. Although the drug is not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to treat [Chinese] COVID-19, and the FDA has explicitly warned against using it, some doctors have prescribed Ivermectin for [Chinese] COVID-19 patients.

However, the hospital refused to administer the drug to Carter, even though the family said they would gladly sign away any right to file a malpractice lawsuit.

This forced Alvarado to sue Rochester Regional Health, where Rochester General Hospital falls -- and she was successful. Finally, a judge sided with the family and ordered the hospital to administer the care.

Still, though, Rochester General Hospital refused. Rochester Regional Health filed an appeal on Saturday, and a hearing was scheduled for Monday, Lewke's report said.

Carter died on Sunday.

Attorney Ralph Lorigo, who sued Rochester Regional Health on behalf of Carter, told Lewke he's filed dozens of lawsuits against health systems in western New York alone over the past few months.

"Every case I have is a person in a hospital dying," he said, "what is the harm if a hospital is done with its protocol?"

Lorigo has already filed three suits against Rochester Regional Health to get them to administer Ivermectin, including Carter's suit.

"Each of those times we were successful and those people went home. In this situation we sued, we got a court order and the hospital refused to administer the Ivermectin," the attorney explained.

Wow, I didn't know the experimental ward at Birkenau was still cranking out MDs. Like these ghouls in Colorado.

Persecution is now cool! A woman who has stage 5 renal failure was suddenly told by UCHealth (University of Colorado Health) -- just before her kidney transplant operation -- that she was banned from the hospital because both she and her donor are unvaccinated.

Here I am, willing to be a direct donor to her. It does not affect any other patient on the transplant list," Jaimee Fougner, Leilani Lutali's kidney donor, told CBS4. "How can I sit here and allow them to murder my friend when I've got a perfectly good kidney and can save her life?"

Lutali said she received a letter from Colorado health system UCHealth at the end of September explaining that she and Fougner have 30 days to begin the vaccine process. They would be removed from the kidney transplant list if they refuse the shots. "I said I'll sign a medical waiver. I have to sign a waiver anyway for the transplant itself, releasing them from anything that could possibly go wrong," said Lutali. "It's surgery, it's invasive. I sign a waiver for my life. I'm not sure why I can't sign a waiver for the [Chinese] COVID shot . . . "

. . . Idiotic and cruel decisions like this from too many of today's health care professionals has destroyed the entire reputation of the scientific and medical community. People once trusted their judgment, because the goal had been above all to find the truth and to best serve the patient. That trust is now gone because of stupid actions like this . . . If Americans don't rise up in rage over this madness, death camps will soon be here.

Well, they already have interment camps in Australia so it's just a stone's throw - even with Fauci's arm - to "the showers" where something other than water comes out of the spigot.

Last week, Tracy-Stone Manning was confirmed as Director of the Bureau of Land Management on a straight party line vote. Every Senate Democrat -- including "moderates" like Manchin and Sinema -- voted to put Ms. I-Talk-to-the-Trees in charge of 65 million acres of federal forests.

President Barely Conscious called her "extremely well-qualified." And what qualifications they are! In the 1990s, Stone-Manning almost went to prison for her involvement with Earth First's tree-spiking project, which could have ended up maiming a lot of loggers.

Times change, Stone-Manning hasn't.

In 2020, she recommended a commentary by her husband suggesting that houses near a forest fire should be allowed to burn. (They have no business being that close to the sacred oaks and esteemed elms.) She actually managed to find someone crazier than herself to sleep with.

As you might expect, the Director is also anti-child. In her graduate thesis, S-M referred to children as "an environmental hazard." For the sake of the planet, Americans need to "breed fewer consuming humans," said she. She included a picture of a child in a field with the caption, "Can you find the environmental hazard in this photo?" Charming.

Among neo-Malthusians, the clamor is growing . . . They may get their wish sooner than they can possibly imagine, and without lifting a finger.

In the past 70 years, the worldwide fertility rate (the number of children the average woman will have in her lifetime) was cut almost in half -- going from 4.7 in 1950 to 2.4 in 2021. In the United States in the same period, fertility went from 3.5 to 1.77. . .

. . . There are many factors contributing to this worldwide phenomenon, including the decline of marriage, the rise of abortion and contraception, loss of faith and growing urbanization. Thanks to so-called progressives, abortion is now the leading cause of death worldwide. . .

. . . Leftists started by hating their country, then their class, then their race. Now they've essentially given up on their species.

Can socialists really be so dense that after 100-plus years of failure (on every continent and in every era), they still expect socialism to work? Maybe that's no longer the goal.

Perhaps, just perhaps, they are no longer blinded by utopian fantasies. Maybe, for them, breadlines, crop failures, 5-year plans and mass starvation are the goal -- the better to kill you with my dear.

Death and disease may not only be an end but also a means for political power grabs. Biden importing tens of thousands of illiterate peasants who carry diseases a hell of a lot more deadly than the Peking Pox - none of which they have to be inoculated against - will spread everything from tuberculosis to mumps to measles to dengue far and wide, overloading an already way overburdened healthcare delivery system. Can you say "never let a crisis go to waste?" But I digress.

As I mentioned up top, societies that embraced socialism and communism (willingly or not) collapsed in a heap of misery and lingering or sudden death in short order. A better analogy of where we are headed than the gotterdammerung of 1945 Nazi Germany may be the 1978 madness of Jonestown, Guyana. The Left cannot and will not understand that you cannot create paradise on earth when all you have are very flawed human beings. To do so requires being able to alter the unalterable: human nature. And you will never change human nature no matter how many human beings you consign to the ovens of Birkenau, the pits of Babi Yar or the Gulag Archipelago. Or now, the Garland Archipelago.

Hungarian Minister of Family Affairs Katalin Novak discussed the country's pro-family policies during a meeting with reporters Wednesday, describing how Hungary seeks to address declining fertility and birth rates by encouraging and offering incentives for marriage and bigger families.

Novak pointed out that many believe that if a person wishes to save the planet, that person should abstain from having children. The Hungarian minister for families said she found the sentiment "crazy" and that such notions were not common in Hungary.

"We just say that it's stupid," she said.

"That is an advantage of our politics, we speak frankly, we are outspoken," she went on. "We use simple language that everyone understands."

Hungarians wish to leave the planet in a better condition than they received, it Novak said -- "But to who"

"If you don't have children, for whom do you preserve the planet for?"

Tracy Stone Manning has a railroad spike with Katalin Novak's name on it. Or in the words of the Autistic Green Jesus, "How dare you!"

Meh, if Scoldilocks and her ilk inherit the Earth, maybe we should leave it a flaming ruin.

22 I am not at all surprised by any of this. The hospitals aren't going to make any money by getting people WELL. They do get a big chunk of change for each person that dies of the covid though. More if they are on a ventilator. Hubbysharn out smarted them on that - he stayed conscious to the very end and refused the ventilator.

Plenty of harm. If they engage in the alternate protocol, liability surfaces, and waivers are never a sure thing. If they engage in the alternate protocol, it opens serious concerns with billing and Medic{are|aid}. If they engage in the alternate protocol, it will draw the ire of regulatory complex. If they engage in the alternate protocol, they will become infamous in the eyes of vengeful press whores.

All of this is related, and it is all related to the malignant influence of the state on medicine.

Back in the early 20-oughts, I was in Little Rock on a work trip. The Slick Willie library was in very early stages of development. I grew up in fire territory. I don't live there now, but fire was an annual - and in bad years, it was nine months out of twelve - terror for most of my life. When you push the urban/rural boundary (called in modern circles the "Rural-Urban Interface, or RUI, approximately defined as the exurbs) outward, you incur different risks. One of those risks can be forest fire. But our presence in the sacred wilds as a justification to do nothing is asinine for two big reasons.

First, we are men and therefore more important than trees or animals. Period. You're damned right I am a supremacist. Man above any other consideration. To believe otherwise is to be evil. I do not endorse gratuitous environmental destruction, but the environment is subordinate to us and our needs. Second, those virgin forests aren't. There are no natural, primeval forests as dense as those found in the Interior West due to centuries of management. Fire management is essential and proper.

The Left is a bundle of contradictions wrapped up in a rainbow flag. They don't know what they want.

They want lowered emissions, but they don't want the lowered economic activity. They want everyone vaxxed to save their lives (they've already gotten their 14th booster for the children!) but want everyone they don't agree with dead.

They want to govern a prosperous, peaceful America, but they also need to stamp out anyone who doesn't think they're doing the best job ever.

88 22 I am not at all surprised by any of this. The hospitals aren't going to make any money by getting people WELL. They do get a big chunk of change for each person that dies of the covid though. More if they are on a ventilator. Hubbysharn out smarted them on that - he stayed conscious to the very end and refused the ventilator.
______________

There is no excuse for these hospitals to deny ivermectin to patients, especially after their own protocols have been tried and have failed. There have been multiple studies that have shown that ivermectin can be effective, and India used it extensively and controlled their covid outbreaks very successfully.

I hope that family files a wrongful death suit against the hospital that refused to even try ivermectin, preferring to let the patient die rather than comply with the court order. Assholes like that need to pay, and through every bodily orifice. There is just no excuse for their despicable behavior.

They want a slow burn. Government spending is about 5 trillion out of 20, or about 25%. If it falls by half, it's at least 10% subtracted from GDP. That's a technical depression. It would be a good thing after the first (admittedly very brutal) year because virtually all of that government spending is malinvestment, but they desperately do not want that outcome. A lot of stuff will break, medical care (given the other topics here) not least among that other stuff. They have an existential need to prevent and avoid that. That is why they panic so much about government shutdowns and capitulate 100% of the time. The government can play games for a few weeks, but not longer than that. If it keeps on going, the checks stop being sent and the wheels come off. No one can deal with it, and so they avoid it. For now.

That would be correct if:
1. The vaccines worked indefinitely or for very long periods of time. They don't.
2. The vaccines did not cause serious side effects. They seem to, especially in younger people.

But even if it were technically correct, refusing to consider therapeutic treatment is still insane and evil. Not everyone will get the shots (some can't, some won't) even if they're flawless. People will need treatment regardless. They're evil to the core.

Posted by: Joe Mannix (Not a cop!) at October 07, 2021 07:21 AM (+IIqY)

102 Gotta hand it to them. They can easily prove ivermectin isn't effective by waiting until the patient is near death to give a little dose and then say "See!!! SEE!!! It doesn't work!!!" when they don't recover.

Seems like it would be a lot easier to say "Here, take this and some of these supplements, keep and eye on your oxygen levels, and come back if they drop below X"

But there's only $100 or so in that approach.

This isn't the normal callous disregard in which hospitals routinely engage, this was in direct violation of a court order. We need "rage leaders." This is critical. Rhetorical rage or outrage is needed both as a release, and to prime the pump of the people. This was my point about Hawley's absurd non-rage the other day -- his and others insistence on a business-as-usual, mannered sternness. As for Trump, while his heart is in the right place, he is incapable of the sort of cultivated, philosophic rage required.

Indeed, this rage is a release without which violence is inevitable.

But politicians are now stricken -- you can see it in their faces -- by the fear of acting outside the ever-shrinking limits the media will allow before being labeled a "terrorist."

This is the norm throughout this evil saga. Ivermectin *can* help bring you back from the brink, but little or nothing else can and, as always, earlier is always better.

But with other things, namely HCQ+Zinc+D, it is useless if you're far progressed into the disease. You need that big and *early* for it to help. It isn't as good as Ivermectin, but it also isn't useless and we knew about it earlier. But the studies - all of them - waited until you were on a vent (e.g., sentenced to death in most cases) before administering therapies. Then the therapies failed as one would expect. Boom - they don't work, we're back to square zero.

It's deeply evil. The studies were turfed on purpose.

Manchin and Sinema are playing the parts of whipping boy for the left right now. Neither are up for reelection next year, but there are 4 Democratic Senators from purple/red states up in 2022. Why aren't we hearing from them? Why aren't Kelly, Warnock, Masto, and Hassan being pushed forward and asked their thoughts on the filibuster?

Because the DNC and the media are protecting them from having to take any kind of position. If Manchin kills it, then it saves them the tough vote right before a seemingly red wave election.

136 The "Reverend" Jim Jones case is kind of an interesting thing if one takes a deep dive into Democrat party politics. He was very well connected in California politics, and there are some rumblings of alphabet agency payroll enhancement. The Lord only knows what the game plan was, perhaps some sort of mind control research, as was the fashion of the times then, as now.

It's been retro-conned into the "Reverend" angle, but the fact remains his victims were largely black, if I recall correctly. It's a real shame what happened to California. Cult members and brainwashing runs deep on the left hand side of the aisle.

More and more people are getting on board the Politics Are Local train. Hopefully we can badger our feckless politicians here locally to consider setting up Sanctuary Cities and Sanctuary States against Communist centralized oppression from The Party.

In the meantime, The Party is running around in chaos as each warlord in State, the Party Military, Commerce, Education has set fires they no longer control and their Beijing Overlords are setting their sights on stirring up their own conflagration in the East.

146 Interesting article yesterday on Insty's site, written by two "women" who are prominent transgender doctors. One of them is the surgeon who performed the "transition" surgery on the boy called Jazz Jennings, who had the reality t.v. show about becoming a girl.

Anyway, these two docs wrote an article about how puberty blockers should not be given to kids, and how the medical industry is lying to the public that puberty blockers are "completely reversible." (I recall reading that in the case of the 8-year old boy in TX whose nutso mother was trying to transition him and went to court to get him on puberty blockers & succeeded).

According to the docs, puberty blockers retard the development of the kid patient's genitalia, which causes the transition surgery later to be more difficult. Puberty blockers also can cause sexual dysfunction. The docs say that if the kid transitions before ever experiencing an orgasm, it is likely they will have lifelong sexual dysfunction. But none of these effects are explained to the kids or their parents when they're being advised about the joys of "transitioning."

The docs offered their article to the NYT -- which refused to publish it.

They've gone fully political, willfully blind, deaf and dumb versus Hippocratic Oath. It is deeply, deeply disturbing.

I think a lot of this is lawsuit avoidance.

There's been a huge push over the last 20 or so years to to qualify and qualify treatment under "best practice".
Mostly, so that undertrained Physician's Assistants can be given a 1-2-3 checklist for treatment and/or "diagnosis". This is to drive "healthcare for all" and video doctoring etc and control costs.
Cure or help the patient? Diagnose properly? Maybe not so much.
Does ivermectin work? It seems to. Would you get your ass sued license revoked? Maybe.

159 Current sitch: sra blaster and I both got the Johnson and Johnson vaccine back in May. Tuesday she had a fever and thought she had an infection (I had the same thing a couple of weeks ago - a sinus infection driven by allergies, and a negative COVID test - both rapid and PCR). We had a road trip planned so she went in for a rapid test just in case, fully expecting them to say that she had an infection. Her rapid test came back positive which we were not expecting at all.

She's still got a slight fever and is at this point just tired - no other symptoms. Still has senses of taste and smell, no respiratory problems. We are not sure where she was exposed. I think there is something really weird with the tests, honestly. Two years ago we would have called this flu like symptoms and thought nothing of it.

True, but you are only allowed reconciliation once in a Congress, and using it to raise the debt ceiling (what Mitch wants them to do) means the Dems can't use it for the budget bill of $3.5T. The Dems have proposed getting rid of the filibuster for just the debt ceiling (and nothing else) but Manchin has refused to go along with that ploy, although he mews a lot about not raising the debt ceiling is bad...my guess is that Mitch is keeping him from joining in with the Dem plan by extending the debt ceiling. I doubt that the Dems are worried about other Dem senators refusing to play ball, even red state Dems, on getting rid of the filibuster for just the debt ceiling because the media has been working overtime giving them cover, and the $3.5T bill has a lot of walking round cash for dem organizations to assist in their re-election.

It appears you are correct; searched (lazily using first result) and found the following at this site: https://tinyurl.com/kzm8v77w

A Congress with a slim Senate majority can use budget reconciliation at least once per fiscal year. Since the U.S. fiscal year ends on Sept. 30 each year, that means they can technically use two reconciliations per calendar year.

Why at least once per fiscal year? Because Congress can address a reconciliation bill for the following three topics -- revenue, spending, and the federal debt limit. Sometimes, a bill addresses more than one of these issues. A reconciliation bill for each issue can only come once per fiscal year.

While Democrats options are still the same, what he did is give Democrats time. He's thinking that's a clever way of alleviating any blame on Republicans, but it's not. Every person breathing air in our country knows who is running the government. Giving them time is a major strategic blunder. You can take that to the bank. 203 195 While Democrats options are still the same, what he did is give Democrats time. He's thinking that's a clever way of alleviating any blame on Republicans, but it's not. Every person breathing air in our country knows who is running the government. Giving them time is a major strategic blunder. You can take that to the bank. Before this happened, I was getting word that some Democrats were starting to panic and were in disarray. That's now gone with Mitch's surrender.

217 That natural gas price spike is going to hurt a lot this winter, but will keep hurting more and for longer than a lot of people realize. Over the past decade, we've had a serious realignment in electrical production. Tremendous amounts of our electricity is now fueled by natural gas. Natural gas has been close to free for a very long time.

Not only is your price to burn it in your furnace going to spike, it's going to cause the price of electricity to spike as well. The spikes will be more in places with lots of gas-fired electricity than it will be in places like where I live (which is mostly hydro and nuclear), but electricity travels far and wide. No one will be immune when the price starts bidding up.

Remember when we had a coherent, production-focused energy policy? That was nice. I liked that. It was only 260 days ago.

They can't use reconciliation to raise the debt ceiling because that keeps the $3.5T budget from they getting filibustered. Re ivermectin. Once you're at the point that you need to be put in ICU, ivermectin is not going to do much good. It needs to be used early, before the damage gets too great. This is one of the tricks Pharma has used to discredit ivermectin. Only look at the effects it has after the patient has progressed to that severe point.

258 As I alluded yesterday, there is another aspect to the COVID vaccine requirement for the kidney transplant patient in Colorado. Anti-rejection medications have an immunosuppressive effect, and I would expect a higher mortality risk if a kidney recipient contracted COVID, especially early post-transplant.

What was not included in the article JJ linked:

"For transplant patients who contract COVID-19, the mortality rate ranges from about 20% to more than 30%. This shows the extreme risk that COVID-19 poses to transplant recipients after their surgeries," the health system told CBS4. The health system also noted that patients have been required to receive other vaccines, such as for hepatitis B, to help ensure a transplant won't be rejected.

I can understand the rationale for the transplant team to take this policy within the transplant program. It is IMO a valid medical stance. I'm not sure, however, if that requirement should extend to the donor, as long as she is free of COVID at the time of the transplant. Ham-handed on the part of the hospital, perhaps. Evil incarnate, meh, I'm not seeing it in this instance.

At this point, I'd love for the endless game of chicken on the debt limit to fuck up, and end up with an actual running out of the clock. Some damned bankster analysis, who I forget, maybe JP Morgan (scroll through ZeroHedge, they had the story) concluded there was an elevated risk that the game of chicken might not be resolved before Treasury ran out of accounting tricks (which lets the keep borrowing real money but without increasing the debt on paper).

It would be interesting to see just what the fuck would happen. That bankster analysis figured that Treasury would prioritize debt service from existing tax revenue and suspend all other payments. Like Social Security!

Or they might try the trillion dollar coin trick.

We're stocking up on gas for the generator, kerosene for the portable heater, propane for heat/cooking and diesel. We're also prepping to be able to cook on both electric or outside propane just about anything we desire.

I'm predicting heating oil and gas shortages more than electrical outages... but if the weather is as bad as the signs are pointing to, everything's on the table.

I have a local pharmacy, locally owned, NOT a chain, used them for years. They do compounding and work with, lets say "non-traditional" health providers. They have a sign on their door that boldly says "NO MASKS NECESSARY!!!" They are small and generally found out about only by word of mouth, but they have an incredibly loyal customer base.

Nationally, if you don't have a local pharmacy like that, I would search for Hopkinton Drug online. They work with a lot of non-establishment people, and have advertised their stockpiles of ivermectin.

Re the trillion dollar coin trick. I read an analysis a few days ago. There is nothing in existing law that would allow Treasury to do this (coin is still the exclusive province of Treasury, by law -- the Federal Reserve only has control of the "dollar" paper money. Coin is still direct Treasury). The law limits how much coin Treasury can issue. They don't have carte blanche to "print" trillion dollar coins.

Per any logical, reasonable reading of law, of course. I'd love for them to try that, just for the SMOD effect on the banking and markets.

Anybody who accepts leftist premises to begin with is not your friend or ally. I rather think that's his job, to discredit genuine conservatives, to be part of the "good cop bad cop" uniparty machinations, a straw man token "conservative", he might as well work for The View.

344 The discussion about winter fuel shortages is cromulent. NOAA, notoriously wrong about everything, is predicting a "wet and mild" winter for most of the country. Anecdotal evidence says otherwise. Guess which one of these predictions will be the narrative?

Joe Bastardi, who's got more experience than everyone at NOAA combined, is predicting a dead average winter, with only the Great Lakes colder and snowier than normal. He also says it should be a fast/early start to winter.

362 276 Since the Covid vaccine is being found to have detrimental effects on the immune system, forcing a transplant recipient to get it prior to transplant would create an even more risky environment for the patient, no?
______________

Yep, there is risk either way. There have been no long-terms studies on the effects of the vaccine on the immune system, so we don't know what could happen to transplant patients in coming years. It's possible (and some doctors predict) that the vaccine could cause changes in their immune system that could kill them.

Whereas we know the mortality rate of the virus for transplant patients is 20%-30%. So transplant patients who get the virus have a 70%-80% chance of surviving it. They may have zero chance of surviving the vaccine long term.

There is risk either way. The decision of which risk to accept should belong to the patient, not the hospital or the government or some committee.

378 I highly doubt anyone wins a lawsuit, no matter how straightforward the case. These denials of care are happening in clear conformity with the wishes of the Party and State. The entire Great American Shell Game is predicated upon a zero-accountability policy with regard to the Party faithful. Whether it's a chieftain like Comey, peons like Antifa, or someone in between like a doctor who refuses a court order - all must be seen walking away unscathed, or confidence in the power of the junta will wane. Our judiciary understands that with perfect clarity.
