Biden Babbles Incoherently, Then Whines About "F Joe Biden" Signs

Joe Biden whines about the signs he saw -- which probably said "Let's Go Brandon" or a more pungent variation thereof -- and brags about his vote totals.

Say, remember when the leftwing media branded Trump a narcissist unconcerned about his job as president when he would tout his vote totals?

I guess the leftwing media has changed its mind as regards bragging about winning (or -- "winning") an election.

Biden got more chants of "Let's Go Brandon" in Michigan.

Amusingly, people really now are chanting "Let's Go Brandon." But you know what they mean.

It just occurred to me: Is this why Biden dismissed Kyrsten Sinema's stalking incident? Because he thinks, "Well my motorcade is having 'F Joe Biden' shouted at it as it cruises by at 60 mph, so if I can deal with that, Sinema can handle being trapped in a bathroom while she's urinating?"

I think that's exactly what this hideous corrupt invalid is thinking.

And what the hell is Pops Bagman saying here? And isn't it time to put him in a place where he can get the care he needs?

John Kerry attempted to cover for Biden badly botching the submarine issue and alienating France. But Kerry's excuse-making revealed that Biden... "literally had not been aware of what had transpired" in the sub deal.

Biden unaware of a major decision of the government he supposedly runs?

It checks out!

Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry said on Monday that President Joe Biden "literally had not been aware of what had transpired" in upsetting France over last month’s nuclear-powered submarine deal the United States and the United Kingdom struck with Australia.

"President Biden asked me about it, and I told him, and expressed...," said Kerry in an interview with French cable channel BFMTV.

"You told Joe Biden that it was not the right...," asked an interviewer.

"He asked me. He said, 'what's the situation?' and I explained exactly, uh... He was he had not been aware of that, he literally, literally had not been aware of what had transpired," said Kerry.

I think we should just change the maps to say "China" where Taiwan is. It's coming within weeks.

This is a weak corrupt fool with a brain that is literally dying in real time.

America will be lucky to survive Biden.

I hope the Norms are to NeverTrump's liking.

I go back and forth in my thoughts on this. From all the rhetoric on the Chinese side, an attack seems imminent, but do they really have the military capability to do something like that? Against an armed and ready opponent, it's an incredibly difficult thing to pull off, unless the attacker is willing to go nuclear against the defenses.

for example, a single diesel powered sub could take a big bite out of any attack fleet, and Taiwan is supposed to have 4 of them.

Good point.
Getting a large fighting force on the ground will take both Airborne and Marine forces. Last time I read up on the ability of the Chinese to project power via their Marines, it was pretty limited. The airforce is better...they just need to establish air superiority over a couple of airfields and ports and then try to get their troops in as quickly as possible.
It won't be esy. Hence my earlier comment that they will finess Taiwan, not conquer it.

Saw an interesting article about Chevy/EV
Does this sound like how you want to live with your car? This is how Chevy suggests you live:
THINK TWICE BEFORE BOLTING TO THE EV FUTURE: Looks like General Motors officials may well be second-guessing their wokey decision to invest billions of dollars in developing Electric Vehicles.

There are more than 143,000 Chevy Bolt EVs on the road, but GM recently put out a bulletin advising owners of certain, uh, precautions they are strongly encouraged to take, according to Ronald Stein, writing for the Committee For a Constructive Tomorrow (CFACT):

Not to park your Chevy Bolt within 50 feet of other vehicles in case it catches fire.
Highly recommends that Bolt EV owners not to park within 50 feet of anything you care about.
Recommends parking on the top floor or on an open-air deck and park 50 feet or more away from another vehicle.
Requests Bolt EV owners to not leave their vehicle charging unattended, even if they are using a charging station in a parking deck.

I agree with Mollie on this one. First, accept that the entire "Debt Ceiling" issue is a Big Joke, and only has meaning insofar as it impacts internal Senate Procedural Rules. The Senate set this process up so that they can pretend they have some financial controls on spending, which of course no one really has. Of course it's going to be raised sooner or later, so the only value to fighting it is how much procedural chaos McConnell can cause along the way.

Having said that, it's useful for McConnell to give Manchin whatever he wants to keep on playing the waiting game, since the other side is attacking Manchin all the time. If Manchin wants a short term extension, fine he gets it. The game is going badly for the Dems, so keep the game going as long as possible.

The Senate only allows one reconciliation bill per Congress. The Dems want to use it to pass the $3.5 trillion bill. The GOP is refusing to support raising the debt ceiling because McConnell is trying to maneuver the Dems into a position where they have to use the reconciliation bill to raise the ceiling, which would kill the $3.5 trillion bill. Since the progressives in the House have already stated that they won't vote to pass the $1.5 infrastructure bill without the $3.5 trillion bill along with it, killing one would likely kill both.

255 The Senate only allows one reconciliation bill per Congress.

Posted by: Colorado Alex in Exile at October 06, 2021 01:56 PM

The Senate parliamentarian has ruled the democrats can have two reconciliation bills this term, one to raise the debt ceiling and one for other stuff. That happened yesterday IIRC.

The democrats don't want to do that because it automatically generates attack ads for republicans just like the democrats did in 2006.

Maybe. Evergrande is pretty big but I'll just say this. I was in Shenzhen in the mid 90's, seeing a lot of half built high rises with no activity. I asked my interpreter what was going on. He said "developers who ran out money. Happens all the time".

My theory is that the PRC will apply pressure, then let up, then apply pressure (to Taiwan), then let up. This cycle goes on for months.
I was actually reading into this yesterday, and found there were a whole slew of aviation incidents in the 1950's and into the 1960's. China and Taiwan shooting each other's planes down. Taiwan doing overflights into China to gather intel (likely for us). They actually had U-2's for a while.
The end game is that Taiwan will eventually capitulate without a fight, at some time in the future; there are likely thousands of PRC agents on the ground in Taiwan now. China wants Taiwan intact, not wrecked with hundreds of thousands dead and injured.

I have a similar story. When I was living in Minnesota, my phone number, after the local area code, includes one of the area codes in Wisconsin. So I would get lots of calls from people in the same MN area code looking for the financial aid department of a college in WI, and a law enforcement/court system in one of the WI towns. I would tell the callers that they had to dial a 1 before the WI area code. Some didn't believe me and would dial the number the same way again. I didn't answer when they called the second time.

1) Taiwan fights back, it does on paper have the ability to hold off China for a few weeks. China doesn't have the amphibious capability it needs (yet).

Now we have a global supply crisis even worse since all the good foundaries are in Taiwan, but nothing is getting built or those foundaries are being bombed.

2) China takes over in a walk and now owns the world's high end chip manufacturing capability.

I don't think either scenario is going to play well, cause no one will be getting their Playstations or Xboxes. Going to be a worldwide crisis, not just US. And Biden gets the blame no matter what.

418 I think electric vehicles are rather impractical myself, just due to short range and long charging times alone, not to mention the burden on the electrical grid. There's a lot that needs to be fixed before EVs become practical and widely adopted.
Posted by: FriscoYoda

The effect is double-edged. As the Big 3 (haha) convert to all EV vehicles, we will find that we can't go places routinely that we used to go. Out of range. No charging stations at hotels, motels, etc. along the way.
And no major effort to beef up the power grid when millions of people routinely drive EV's. And as the IC engine goes away, gasoline will become harder to find and very expensive, in case you wanted to hang on to that gas powered car.
This is part of the Big Plan to cut down on mobility of individual Americans, and control us better. TAKE THE TRAIN. Oh, that's right you have to be up to date on vaccinations to take the train or fly.

There's a book called "The Protracted Game" by Scott Boorman which is a useful discussion of the differences between Chinese and Western thinking.

Personally I'd look at Africa: a build up of Chinese military assets in the HOA would have the ability to shut down shipping through the Indian ocean. This would force the US to commit to an extended campaign to clear the Chinese military out of the region, increasing casualties and giving China leverage in pushing a negotiated settlement. The goal isn't to defeat the US, but to come out ahead in terms of influence.

Taiwan and Japan and increasing readiness while China may be at the height of her power for all it knows and the political situation in America can not reliably get any better than the one one now.

478 465 Missouri woman is seeking $1 million from GEICO in federal court after she had sex and contracted an STD from a man in the backseat of his vehicle that was covered by the insurance provider.

__________

What are they claiming, that the woman's vagina and the man's penis collided, and therefore her damages should be covered under the collision provision?

479 As for Los Angeles - LA has a lot of minorities. And as we know, minorities by and large are some of the biggest groups not getting vaccinated. I suspect that this will end up just as unpopular in LA as it's proven to be in NYC...

If it's like it is up north, they absolutely ignore the Hispanic places. When the shutdown first started, one of the popular bar/restaurants continued business as usual. Same with other places. They're not only exempt, they're invisible. So then they also get to become a nightclub and run prostitution. It was weird driving through essentially a ghost town and seeing a full parking lot with a full dining room as well as a full patio. I'm guessing it's the same in SoCal. It takes a lot to get the attention of the authorities, which one place finally did with an entire neighborhood complaining, open drug use and prostitution, and somebody getting run over in the dining room. Run over. In. The dining room. She ded.

481 Friday I'm gonna see how many sets of dumb bell press I can do with a pair of 65-pounders. Last time was 1x8, 1x6, then bumped down for the last set. A few weeks ago I was doing 3x8 with 50lbs and a buddy in the gym told me to stop being a "Biden" and go heavier. Let's go, Brandon!

482 "103 So, who's going to fact check and see if Biden actually had a relative that worked."

I think this will be a simpler search, likely also with a null outcome.

I will. More likely Saturday... Friday is my workout and I'll feel tired then, but Saturday morning I'll wake up and feel it.

I'm going to be sore tomorrow from the low-weight, high-rep shoulder stuff I did today.
