Durham Issues Subpeonas to Hillary Clinton's Law Firm and the Tech Bros Who Fabricated the Alfa Bank Hoax

Jason D. Meister

@jason_meister

BREAKING: Special Counsel John Durham issued a new set of subpoenas, including to a law firm with close ties to Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign

CNN tries spinning the story away-- no doubt to protect the "sources" (really coconspirators) it was working with to push this hoax on to the public and into the FBI.

Special Counsel John Durham has issued a new set of subpoenas, including to a law firm with close ties to Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign, an indication that Durham could be trying to build a broader criminal case, according to people briefed on the matter. So far, Durham's two-year probe into the FBI's Russia investigation hasn't brought about the cases Republicans has hoped it would.

The grand jury subpoenas for documents came earlier this month after Durham charged Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann with lying to the FBI in a September 2016 meeting. During that meeting, Sussmann handed over data purporting to show links between the Trump Organization and Russia's Alfa Bank.

That tip became part of the FBI's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election but the FBI ultimately couldn't find evidence of a link.

In seeking additional documents from Sussmann's former law firm, Perkins Coie, investigators from the special counsel's office appear to be sharpening their focus on the Democratic political machinery during the 2016 campaign and efforts to tie Trump to Russia.

Perkins Coie's clients in 2016 included the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee. The law firm also hired on the campaign's behalf a research company that commissioned the dossier from ex-British spy Christopher Steele that alleged that Trump was compromised by Russia.

While working for Perkins Coie, Sussmann also represented Rodney Joffe, a cybersecurity expert referred to in Durham's indictment as "Tech Executive-1." In 2016, Joffe, who has not been previously identified, worked with researchers to collect internet data about the Trump Organization that Sussmann took to the FBI.
Durham's continued use of the federal grand jury in Washington, DC, signals that he could be interested in adding to Sussmann's charges or bringing cases against additional defendants.

They go to raging leftwing lunatic "Popehat" for his unbiased take:

In interviews with CNN, several former federal prosecutors criticized Durham's use of what's known as a speaking indictment against Sussmann, laying out a broader case detailing the suspected political motivations and conduct by several people outside of Sussmann's legal practice who aren't actually charged. The former prosecutors say a false statement charge is typically straightforward, and often laid out in a single sheet of paper.

"There are two ways to take it: The way charitable and favorable to Durham is this is basically making a case for this being material," said Ken White, a former prosecutor-turned-white collar defense lawyer in Los Angeles who follows Trump-era cases closely. "The less charitable interpretation is, this is Durham doing what he's going to do, basically making his pitch for Trump as a victim."

Here's where CNN spins this "research" -- making up fake crimes and reporting them to the FBI in order to get the media to report the headline "FBI investigating a crime" -- as something that happens every day in DC.

The larger narrative Durham describes lays out a practice not uncommon in politics and a world that's usually opaque to the general public -- in which campaigns traffic stories that could hurt their opponents, and sometimes try to get law enforcement to open investigations into alleged wrongdoing. At times, the research and authorities' reactions to the research will leak to the news media as part of partisan attempts to affect election outcomes.

A friend writes: "LOVE that part. Gee, I wonder if CNN, including the authors of this piece, ever played a role in such partisan politics."

Lawyers steeped in Washington are often involved in opposition research efforts.

Justice Department officials suspected a similar effort was in the works in 2020, when Rudy Giuliani sought meetings with top Justice officials to provide documents related to Joe Biden and his son, Hunter, while providing news organizations some of the same information, according to former Trump administration officials.

"Suspected."

By the way, CNN refuses to acknowledge the "documents" it's talking about here, which come from the Hunter Biden Laptop. "Hold 10% for The Big Guy" and all that.

These practices themselves aren't regulated by the law, and Durham hasn't charged as a crime any actions central to the opposition research itself.

"Certainly it's routine for people with contacts in the government to be hired to try to get the government interested into launching an investigation that's advantageous for clients," White said. "It's all part of petitioning the government."

This is petitioning the government -- protected by the First Amendment, CNN says.

Lawyers hiding their clients and passing off hoax crimes to the FBI to trick them into conducting a criminal probe. And then lying to the FBI about what brought them into their offices.

All to distract from Hillary's very real secret server scandal.

CNN then goes on to revive the Russiagate Hoax again, and demands to know why Durham didn't mention the hoax they worked so hard to propagate in their indictment.

Stray voltage is useful as long as you can throw up enough chaff to keep people from following the thread you do not want them to follow.

When the thing people want to follow gets more primal (like going hungry) it is harder for this chaff technique to work and will more piss them off.

He wanted to talk about Trump (this was when Trump was still in office, after the lockdowns were over here.) She had effectively merged the State Dept with the Clinton Foundation (see Huma being and employee of both and Doug Band's Teneo). They were actively sharing classified information, between the two organization as well as with the foundation's clients and donors.

And then there was the instances where she was sharing classified doc info for which she was not read in (i.e. epsionage). We can only imagine what she shared/sold, and to whom, via that server. She had people withing IC getting her info she had no business possessing.

It does happen sometimes but those occurrences have been society-breaking events. This would be more of a complete collapse in trust and people revoking the grant of governorship. The complication is that the dynamic has changed as people have shifted from being governed by elected officials and being governed by chosen teams of oligarchs. They cheer for their masters and the oligarchs goggle up media outfits to increase their following.

But when people are not able to support the current narrative in their head and when the day's propaganda doesn't work anymore it will all collapse and the result is often horrific. When all the leftists can no longer pretend they're not "the baddies" what do you think is going to happen?

There is clear criminal behavior here that's laid out in the indictments. The FBI needs an easy fall guy for their criminal conduct. Why not let a few lawyers take the fall for "misleading" them. He can also build on Sussman and expand from there. Lawyers never want to go to jail. I say keep tapping every one you think was involved. Hopefully they will sweep up big scumbags like Elias.

What Durham really needed was a criminal conspiracy charge. The FBI colluded with a range of actors to pull this off. But with today's DoJ, that will never happen.

The lawyers are refusing to sign off on the action due to liability concerns. The Government Affairs department is in conference with the FDA to determine liability scope if they change the recording. The FDA is in parallel conference with the CDC and Fauci. They are all working to draft a waiver that will limit any liability to Pfizer. The waiver, once complete, will go through final review with the government lawyers. It will be signed on Saturday during competing news dumps. The change will go into test at Pfizer on Saturday, and be staged to production on Sunday. The change will roll out and go live on Monday at midnight for the start of the new business week.

I wasn't alive in the 70s, much less as a grown-up paying bills, so I don't have a basis for direct comparison. Inflation is already pretty bad, though, and getting worse, and hits hard. It is doubly bad that it is also happening - thanks to the last 13 years' worth of policy - in an artificial low-interest environment and savings are being detonated far more quickly than they should be, and there are few if any safe havens due to capital market inflation - and neither of these were true in the 70s.

But I've wised up since I said this would end after the election, I now see that there is no end in sight for the Op.

Not an *actor* in the fraud. Very likely a factor. If their system weren't so open to subversion, a fair amount of what happened in AZ wouldn't have happened. Double-counting ballots should be impossible on any well-designed (or even non-poorly-designed) system, for example. Mutable logs should not be in the design of *any* secure system.

Did Dominion reach down from the HQ and fuck with the count? No. Is the design of their system so weak and expose such potential for abuse that it almost had to be intentional? I would argue yes.

Answer - generally it has to do with two things:
1) COVID precautions and protocols mandated by various bureaucratic and corporate entities slow everything down
and
2) lack of manpower (pickers, packers, forklift drivers, semi-truck drivers, etc.) due to COVID and/or lack of interest working for minimum wage.

Our "Just In Time" supply chain is designed to operate without anyone dicking around with the process. The government has dicked around with the process.

401 @349

Here is how the supply chain issue is affecting my industry.

When the Plandemic hit, orders to vendors crashed, existing supply was exhausted, with no new orders, vendors did not resupply at the same rate or at all, people were furloughed or outright fired, this rippled through the supply chain.

As things normalized slightly, new orders were placed but the entire ecosystem was now broken and cannot fufill orders.

For instance, it's taken me 5 months to get so AJA converters, I used to habitually get them overnight.

And with the Neofeaudalists and Marxist still hellbent on destroying everything, I don't see anything getting back to normal anytime soon.

I'm always wondering if there's ever going to be a "straw" that causes people to finally stand up, wake up and do something. I'm thinking not. I had no idea people would so freely give up their freedoms because skeered, when just 10 years ago people didn't even blink at H1N1.

So I don't think we'd get much in the way of complaints if we had a stock market crash and fuel shortage like we did when Nixon was in orifice. I remember sitting in line for hours to get gas in a car that got about 9MPG on the freeway. But it could be a fuel shortage leading to empty shelves and people in the cities literally starving for the first time in their lives (if they don't freeze to death) might trigger something. Not sure what though. Chances are it wouldn't be against the grifters that caused it.

Shutting off production of pretty much anything out of the ground due to Save The Gay Whales movement; Then telling your productive class that they are worthless unless they commit their soul and life to Fauci and the cult of Covidians.

The United States has stupidly (and in a very collective thinking sort of way) off-shored way too much of our production of essential and semi-essential goods. And it flows through a couple of choke points on the west coast; Cosco container port in Long Beach and Seattle.
They are not running 24/7 unloading at Long Beach for some ungodly reason. Even though +70 ships are parked offshore.
Similar problems in China, for some different sorts of reason.
International container shipping is getting close to collapse, that's what this is all about.
A lot of companies moved up their Xmas merchandise order to ...off shore manufacturers (China and elsewhere), and this is part of the cluster-foxtrot going on.

Nothing. Or, rather, less. Private spending has a lower multiplier than government spending. Public spending has greater velocity and contributes more (by being recycled through the economy more) to economic growth than individual private spending, which is often ineffeicient.

At any other time in our history, yes, we would already be PAST that point.
Remember, a couple decades ago, people actively fought against restrictions on SMOKING.
But I think that today we are dealing with a fresh set of variables that have all come together to render us an almost unrecognizable nation.

Demographics, generational shifts--the WW2 generation is pretty much dead, the Baby Boomers are old and tired--demographic changes---lots of Third World types used to being RULED and jerked around by an impervious elite

Etc.

It can be, but there are far better ways to do it.

Just burn the rolls every four years, three months after the election is certified. Everyone goes. If you want to vote in the next election, you have until three months before election day to get registered again. If voting is important to you, you can register every four years.

Burning the rolls periodically at a decently high frequency avoids a lot of this and is dirt cheap. Don't investigate. Don't validate. Don't cross-check. Just purge and restart.

533 After being told that having the COVID vaccine will allow a mild case of COVID-19 ...

Which is bullshit. the mRNA doesn't have sterilized C19 virus in it. the mRNA loads up the body with the spike proteins which ARE the toxin. Your body is supposed to fight this spike protein and then be prepared for the virus when it comes to strike.

The spike protein is what fucks up your body and begins the cycle of systematically destroying your organs and clobbering your natural immune system.

When I lived in N GA just outside of ATL there was a sign dancing dude that was an absolute master. He had flips, juggles, spins, he'd throw the sign up AND he'd do a flip then catch it before it would hit the ground. I didn't see him for a while and someone told me he was hired by bigger and better-paying outfits ITP. Whatever they paid him, it wasn't enough.

the North American auto industry is predicted to be off pace by about 7,000,000 vehicles this year...and next year, too

that's about a 40 percent drop. and if they had the chips to build the vehicles, the cost of steel would bankrupt the industry in two weeks or less

The point is that the trigger is unpredictable. Far, far worse happened in Romania and people did nothing. Right up until they did something. The trigger, whatever it is, is always unusual and unexpected and timed weirdly.

577 Dear Ace, I'm a long time lurker, rarely I comment, but, if there is one thing I cannot stand, it's the term "co-conspirator". You ever heard of a "co-conspiracy"? Of course not. You are either a "conspirator" or you are not. It's like using "gender" when what you really mean is "sex". Gender traditionally referred to whether a word was masculine or feminine, like "actor" or "actress", not male or female like these progs, who have bastardized the English language insist and who don't have a swinging dick between them, whatever their "gender".
