Gallup: Biden Hits a New Low in Approval, Even Lower Than... Kumala's

The survey service said the president has plummeted 13 points since June, now sitting at a dismal 43% approval rating, the lowest of his presidency.
Worse, said Gallup, "For the first time, a majority, 53%, now disapproves of Biden's performance."
The survey was taken after the failed Afghanistan withdrawal that left many Americans behind, an event condemned by the nation in multiple other surveys.
"The latest drop in Biden's job approval score is the second significant decline since June. Biden's honeymoon ratings near 55% first faltered in July, falling to 50% amid rising COVID-19 cases caused largely by the delta variant. In Gallup's Aug. 2-17 poll, Biden's rating was essentially unchanged, at 49%," said the service.

Out of the headlines for a while, Vice President Kamala Harris has steadied her polling, and now the nation is split on her job, 49% approving, 49% not. She sits exactly where Biden did in 2009, his first year as former President Barack Obama's vice president.

16 In absolute terms, polls are inaccurate and full of lies. In terms of a specific comparison within the same poll, however, there may be some relative value.

If Kamala is polling better than Biden, that implies a serious problem. As we remember from the primaries, *nobody* likes Kamala. If she's beating Biden, it means Biden's actual position is a complete disaster.

Quincy Adams ended up more unpopular as his administration continued, and he was unable to do anything while in office (stories of him skinny dipping in the Potomac aren't the sort of thing that comes from a super busy president).

This administration is making no new friends, pissing off more people, and disappointing others.

I sure hope voting matters in 2022, because if it doesn't the people will find other ways to let the administration know that they don't approve.

I still think that they didn't. They expected Biden to lose a close race while the Dems gained the Senate and expanded their control of the House. This would make Pelosi and Schumer very powerful, and allow them to spend four years stymying Trump while fundraising off of him. Meanwhile the GOP would run away as fast as they could from Trumpism.

Instead, when they realized on election night that Trump was going to win big, and that he might very well pull the GOP into the majority in the House, the Dems panicked and ordered the Steal. But they couldn't do anything about the House, and only a limited amount about the Senate. So they're stuck. They have too narrow a majority to appease their progressive base, and therefore rely on an increasingly incompetent and crippled Biden administration.

Internecine fighting between the Biden and Harris factions would be part of it. My guess is that Biden was supposed to step aside a while ago, but things have been so chaotic that it would look bad, plus he, and his enablers, doesn't want to give up power. This fits well with some of the news reports stating to trickle out about how short-tempered Biden is, how aides worry about bringing him bad news, etc.

They're starting a modified limited hangout about his health.
"The President gets short-tempered some times."
"The President seems distracted in meetings."
"The President seems overwhelmed at times."
"The President's health is a bit off."
"Something is wrong with Joe."

You can see photos of the ID cards among all the other trash the Haitians left, but only if you read foreign papers. U.S. media won't tell you the truth -- that these Haitians were living comfortable lives as refugees in Chile and Brazil. They had jobs and were safe. But when Biden stopped deporting Haitians here, they called their family members and told them to come on in. So they left Chile and Brazil so they could "upgrade their lifestyles" and get more of that "free" money and shit that the U.S. hands out so generously.

"Job approval" polls are useless. Because they tell you nothing. An approval could be negative, because Leftists want the politician to be more leftist and those on the right are angry the politician is behaving too leftist. So those two groups combine for a low approval.

Polls asking specifics for issues such as "do you agree with the Biden Administration policy to not require illegal immigrants to be vaccinated for SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19?" would be useful.

Anything short of answers on specific questions is useless. The polls will always either fall on party lines or will be deliberately skewed to push a narrative.

Yeah, my cable is constantly begging me to upgrade. Sure guys, I know how cable works. I'm going for the ride with everybody else, you can only throttle me so much. The population in my town has grown exponentially in the past 2 years. I used to be in the boonies, and now I'm surrounded by developments. Yet, the only thing I've got a choice of is Spectrum. I'm always 2k feet too far away for DSL. I have zero doubts all these guys have worked out everybody's turf. I will never be able to have an option. TBH, I worry more about upload speed as I have to put photos/videos on my servers for clients. And oddly enough, that's the one that seems to vary the most.

Connection speeds also depend on the server you have. For instance, I'll get the full 50 mbs within 150 miles of where we live. However, hit an east coast server and watch the speed drop dramatically, say, 5 mbs.

I have a 200Mbps connection on plain old coaxial copper. It is more than I need. I like having it because I move a lot of big files around for work, but I would be perfectly happy at 100. 50 would make me do some more workflow optimization (to do fewer transfers simultaneously, or queue them up, etc.). 50 is more than adequate for any typical family use scenario I can think of. With that, you can pull 3-4 streams of video content easily (Netflix, YouTube, etc.) and could get 6-7 out of it in all probability, plus your voice stuff and E-Mail. More is always better, but 50 is a lot.

Among the conditions were: CSA vets were allowed to keep their horses, sidearms, were allowed safe passage back to their homes. Let's see what happens with the AZ audit results tomorrow first. I know the Qberts are all hot to trot and of course there's going to be a false flag event to distract us. We've seen tons of videos of machines being taken to be destroyed. Tens of thousands of ballots going to shredders. I don't think they've ever gotten the routers - and if they did at this point how do we know where they came from? They spent months destroying evidence that wasn't already in hand. IMHO this is going to be more of the demoralization psy-op. Those who want to grasp a thread of hope will see one, the rest will either shrug their shoulders or point and laugh. We saw video of sketchy ballot handling. We saw, in real time, four cities stop counting within fifteen minutes of each other.

This isn't exactly a Sherlock Holmes moment. But its that kind of thing that happens every day at work - for those of you unfortunate enough to get a big company check - where management does a flex, somebody gets fired, and the usual fucks start clucking about "yeah, but they left themselves open because they didn't do XYZ". Hey, remember what the polls said in Sept 2019 for the 2020 election? Neither does anyone else, because they're meaningless. Only thing that matters is who controls the election process and who counts the votes. Michigan is controlled by Democrats.

The only reason that Trump won in 2016 is because the Left thought his candidacy was a joke and didn't cheat. They truly believed that Trump did not stand a chance and they didn't have to bother working to win the election.

In Michigan, Trump only increased the GOP turnout from 2012 by 8% (+164k votes). But Hillary actually decreased Democrat turnout by 12% (-295k votes). Even with that, Trump only won MI by 10,700 votes, 0.2%. 200k vote increase in "Other" voting in 2016 in MI.
