Leaked Phone Transcript Reveals That Biden Told Former Afghan President Ghani to Lie About His Government's Success Against the Taliban

Via Twitchy. First reported by Reuters:

In much of the call, Biden focused on what he called the Afghan government’s "perception" problem. "I need not tell you the perception around the world and in parts of Afghanistan, I believe, is that things are not going well in terms of the fight against the Taliban," Biden said. "And there is a need, whether it is true or not, there is a need to project a different picture."

Biden needed that false narrative in order to execute his withdrawal. I'm not suggesting that a withdrawal was a bad policy -- but Biden wanted and needed the lie of the Afghan government stable and in-control in order to sell his withdrawal to the public and shut down questions about it.

So Biden told a foreign president to lie in order to prop up his own political agenda and standing.

Is it just me or do I remember an attempt to impeach Trump over less...?

But phone calls to foreign presidents don't matter now.

Also: Jen Psaki says that she will not discuss leaked transcripts of a president's phone calls with foreign leaders.

What a reversal! We spent of 2017-2020 discussing vindictively leaked (and selectively quoted) transcripts of Trump's calls.

Now it's a crime to discuss Biden's.

However, you can use the old technique that British Parliaments used against kings back in the day via impeachment. Go after the Biden junta's ministers--technically anyone in the executive branch can be impeached and an impeachment motion is privileged in House permanent rules which means a vote. See the 1/19/2018 vote in the House on Al Green's motion. There was an immediate move to table which succeeded but Al Green's impeachment bill got voted upon and commented on briefly in the media.

It was stew in a tortilla. I'm not joking it was someone opened up a damned can of Dinty Moore and put it in a tortilla and called it a burrito.

And it was bad stew.

I threw it at the trash, missed, and a couple seagulls came over to investigate.

They didn't want it either.

Relenza uses the same mechanism of action as tamiflu. It is however delivered by an inhaler. When it was introduced it was really expensive, and some patients had pretty significant broncospasms with it, and some patients just don't like inhalers. My experience was that it was no more effective than the tamiflu. Glad you had a good response to it though!

When in Cape Town, South Africa, a group of us went to a "Tex/Mex" food truck. Granted the "fajita" meat was something local and had a different taste to it - but much of everything else was pretty damned authentic.

I think we were his first / only Texas customers, so he was very nervous when we told him where we are from, and that we are serious food critics.

Imagine his relief when, after carefully tasting the variety of foods, that we said that this would do quite well as genuine Tex/Mex in Austin and Houston.

There was a better Mexican restaurant in Hong Kong that was owned by an American gal. It wasn't great, but I never got sick there. Every once in a while she would get in real Nacho cheese doritos, which were rare in those times. She'd make velveeta and rotel queso and call up her regular American customers to come down for it.

I totally agree. I have learned to instantly reject any food offered to me as a "delicacy." I've never once been given a "delicacy" that wasn't absolutely revolting.

I believe most dishes with that categorization are trash food that desperate people ate when their only other option was starving. Over time, they eventually came to sort of like the taste. Then they forced it onto their children and grandchildren.
