Biden Mulls Requiring Vaccine Passports for American Citizens Traveling Between The States, While Walking Unvaccinated, Covid-Positive Foreigners to Walk Across the Border

Biden is considering vaccine mandates simply to cross an internal border in the US.

For citizens, of course. Illegal immigrant foreigners will continue being bused around the country without any vaccine passports. Hell, without any passports, period.

apnewsbidenvaccinepassports.jpg

"Too polarizing for now."

Meanwhile, in leaked audio, DHS Secretary Mayorkas admits to border guards that the border situation is "unprecedented" and "unsustainable."

But, of course, in public utterances, he and Team Ice Cream Cone insist there is no emergency.

Prisoners in our own fucking country while illegal immigrant foreigners are allowed to do as they please.

9 Try it, Sundown. People will NOT stand for such blatant shitting on citizens while giving a pass to illegal aliens.

May not be an organized resistance, but things WILL happen. Keep sending the message that certain animals are more equal than others, and those less-equal will start thinking -- what else is there to lose?

Don't advocate it, don't want it, but apparently Joe's handlers do.

60 As I've been saying for many months, it's a wonder to me that BP still does anything but minimal "work to rule" union-style "work" any more. It's actually a credit to the sense of duty and good natures of many of them that they still do. A lot of their work is actually rescue - in some sectors a large portion of resources and energy are spent just trying to save the lives of illegals abandoned by smugglers, or who were dumb enough to try crossing where/when it was risky and difficult.

But the likely-criminal Mayorkas (selling visas in previous DHS stint) is wrong, there's nothing "unsustainable" about any of it (though, credit where credit is due, this is actually a correct use of the word "sustainable", which has been destroyed along with much of the language).

This is exactly what much of the country voted for (including most Dems, who actually didn't know they were voting for this, and hate it like everyone else), or appeared to vote for, or was officially certified to have voted for.

There is no rule of law, no opposition party, no press (just a quick list of the major missing components). This creates bizarre, infuriating, unjust situations.

78 The "policy" options, as usual, are no different than they were 20 minutes ago.

The "policy" options to "fix" this involve a time machine to return to Trump's package of policies and clear intent, which themselves took years to reach the stage where the flow was turned off.

And there is no time machine. And there isn't much chance this "administration" can pretend to return to Trump's key policies, and convey any sense of seriousness or will in doing so. Absent this, there is literally nothing to be done.

This was discussed on an earlier thread and the consensus seemed to be that if Joe Xi-den signed an EO mandating Wu-Flu interstate passes, a bunch of blue states will band together and manadate internal vaxes and make it super-easy, barely an inconvenience for vaxxed ppl in those states to travel between them. However, if you're in a (vile, dirty) red state, prepare for border check points and making your life miserable, even if you can produce "papier, bitte!"

That this will aid state fragmentation makes this all the better, as that's the next step for saying those (vile, dirty) red states that don't comply are "in rebellion/insurrection" by Biden's Cabal.

How the Government May Accuse You of Domestic Terrorism
Investigative journalist Glenn Greenwald stated that the end goal of the newly emerging war on domestic terrorism is to "essentially criminalize any oppositional ideology to the ruling class," adding, "There is literally nothing that could be more dangerous"
Journalist Whitney Webb is concerned about fusion centers, at which the Department of Homeland Security, FBI, NGOs and others in the private sector collaborate to decide who's a terrorist and who's not
Fusion centers have been around for a while, but as the war on domestic terror progresses, Webb believes that fusion centers will take on the same role as the CIA-run Phoenix Program during the Vietnam War, which were designed to collate names of dissidents and people with extremist sympathies to databases so they could be pursued by the relevant authorities
Silicon Valley and the national security state are now fused; deleting your social media accounts is one of the best ways to stop feeding the domestic terror machine

First off, health insurance covers covid and with Obama care every one is covered even if they do not have private insurance. Second, those allergic to ingredients in the vaccine SOL? Finally, didn't Reagan make it impossible for hospitals to refuse treatment? What is with this?

1. Internal Passports are step one of Social Credit Scores and convert freedom of movement into a privilege. These put us well on our way to building out the surveillance infrastructure. Combating CV-19 is a fig leaf.

2. Replacing fossil fuels with solar and wind for everything, including transportation, centralizes energy generation and allows it to be under government control. The Climate Change stuff is a fig leaf.

____________

No, but you don't need to completely enforce it. All you need to do is put enough restrictions and other things in the way and you will get what you want. You won't stop all of it, but that is not the point. The point is to make as many people comply as possible. Eventually, no one thinks it is weird that you have to take off your shoes at the airport. Then you can go and pay a duty to get TSA Pre-Check and hand over personal information to avoid having to take your shoes off.

185 I know it's required to accept 98% of the lies and false framework of the vandals and "other side" in making all manner of snarky and outraged points, but C19 is prevalent, has been for over a year and a half, and its variants are no more "containable" than C19 was.

The occurrence of actual cases will vary, regionally and seasonally, regardless of *any* policies or "non-pharmaceutical interventions*, and, apparently, regardless of even pharmaceutical interventions when those come in the form of non-sterilizing vaccines (don't prevent transmission).

We can't "beat" a virus like this (key, key, key false concept from the outset), nor is it very likely we can "manage" it in an active sense, unless/until enduring sterilizing vaccines (like those we are familiar with for other pathogens) are introduced.

So FL's and TX's curves will decline soon, regardless of how man illegals are shipped there. And they would have climbed, with zero illegals.

NHS has been a cautionary tale about just this thing for years. No, nothing that actively stops you, just that they have tools to identify when you've left the state. Dependence on things like CC payments, mobile phones, etc. leave a digital record of our whereabouts that can be stored and queried (think more like red light cameras that automatically send you the ticket in the mail vs. a traffic stop by a cop).

275 "Time to seriously start talking about secession."

There are states that regularly get more $ back from the fed govt than the residents pay in fed tax, and there are states that do not. The former will be less inclined to secede than the latter.

Once a state has seceded, it will then have to do 'international' trade with the USA for many of the resources that it is not self-sufficient in. The USA could punish the seceded state with tariffs. The borders of the state will be sealed, and all cargo traffic will be regulated (slowed) by customs.

A lot of problems with secession.

324 Once a state has seceded, it will then have to do 'international' trade with the USA for many of the resources that it is not self-sufficient in. The USA could punish the seceded state with tariffs. The borders of the state will be sealed, and all cargo traffic will be regulated (slowed) by customs.

A lot of problems with secession.
Posted by: gp Sets In Motion Various Apparatuses at August 13, 2021 02:46 PM (qpX6U)

It would have to be coordinated between many states. Go out with a bang. There is only a handful of states left in the cold, and even in those states, the states would probably split.

Would need some military bases, farming land and so forth. Natural resources. But I think in general we have that covered.

Nope, I was wrong. Their argument is actually a bit more sensible, though I strongly doubt it is actually meaningful. The argument in the article is that the smoke and other pollution due to massive fires exacerbates COVID when people get it, so the fires make getting COVID worse.
Exposure to smoke, whether from air pollution or cigarette smoke, is believed to impair the function of white blood cells in the lungs, blunting the body's immune response. The chemicals in particulate matter can also inflame cells lining the airways and lungs. In both cases, if the body is exposed to a virus in addition to air pollution, the immune response may be slowed and the person may develop a more severe illness than they would have otherwise, researchers say.

360 "So...some enterprising "state" representatives ought to be making some "junkets" to places like France, Brazil, Japan, and talking hypotheticals on trade."

A landlocked seceded state would be at the mercy of shippers who would have to traverse the USA. Water resources are a big secession show-stopper for some states that get most of their water from another state.

The seceded state would have to patrol its border to prevent illegal immigrants. Immigration status would have to be ranked politically. No point in seceding if you then let libs move there.

Secession might work, but I don't think we have any leaders wise enough and uncorrupted enough to make it work.

TORONTO (AP) -- The Canadian government will soon require all air travelers and passengers on interprovincial trains to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
Transport Minister Omar Alghabra said Friday that includes all commercial air travelers, passengers on trains between provinces and cruise ship passengers.
"As soon as possible in the Fall and no later than the end of October, the Government of Canada will require employees in the federally regulated air, rail, and marine transportation sectors to be vaccinated. The vaccination requirement will also extend to certain travelers. This includes all commercial air travelers," his office said in a statement.
France announced this week that it will require people have a special virus pass before they can travel by plane, train or bus across the country.
The Canadian government is also requiring vaccinations for all federal public servants in the country.

407 ",,, C19 is prevalent, has been for over a year and a half, and its variants are no more "containable" than C19 was.

The occurrence of actual cases will vary, regionally and seasonally, ...

We can't "beat" a virus like this (key, key, key false concept from the outset)...

So FL's and TX's curves will decline soon, regardless of how man illegals are shipped there. And they would have climbed, with zero illegals." Posted by: rhomboid

Makes sense ... but are the variants going through the bell curve all over again state after state, repeating the same as c19 the original?
My understanding (constantly changing) is exposure to the original is still (at least mostly) effective "immunity" from the variants (especially since they have less than 1% variation, some say).

More than a few fires in CA have been set by arsonist illegals.

I had a chance to talk to forestry official about it. Completely off the record, of course.

Maybe instead of secession it should be ostracism. Ostracize NYC, LA, SF, coastal Calif, Minneapolis/St Paul etc. Invite all who want to migrate out of "racist" red state lands to do so into the blue havens. They'll enjoy that. All illegals caught in U.S. post-ostracism will be peacefully relocated to a blue city. There ya go.

a prefessor who they knew was doing it and had been aware for so long that they had a tracker on his car. He alone could be the cause of most fires for years. That is how arson often works, with one fire bug setting most fires in a region for a long time before caught.

423 To be fair, we can't fix the problem by eliminating the arsonists. That would just mean the fuel load would build up even more before a natural start.

Fuel load management and barriers have to be in place either way.

Get some minor plastic surgery touch-ups, get some Botox injections, get his recommended 3,000 naps brain go-juice and filter change, have a few replacement hair plugs installed, get a drain, flush, and refill of the internal hydraulic system that lets him stand, walk, and operate his mouth...

Posted by: Gref at August 13, 2021 03:13 PM (AMIL/)

427 I think the best approach is for Conservative states to enact trade barriers against the commie states.

Succession is non-workable, and anything like internal tariffs or travel restrictions would be shot down, but States could set up sales tax, restrictions, and other requirements which target Amazon, Big tech, Hollywood, Fake news, big media, and Big Finance. This would do a pretty good job at hitting the mark and there is a history of sttes having leeway on taxes and regulations within their borders.
