Note: that cryptic line of letters and numbers you see underneath each board diagram is a representation of the position in what is known as "Forsyth-Edwards Notation", or F.E.N. It's actually readable by humans. Most computer applications nowadays can read FEN, so those of you who may want to study the position, you can copy the line of FEN and paste into your chess app and it should automatically recreate the position on its display board. Or, Windows users can just "triple click" on it and the entire line will be highlighted so you can copy and paste it into your chess app.

So that about wraps it up for this week. Chess thread tips, suggestions, bribes, rumors, threats, and insults may be sent to my yahoo address: OregonMuse little-a-in-a-circle yahoo dott com.

PSA

Duluth Trading Post has a bunch of clearance deals. Some are really, really great. If you are a guy who needs Sunday-night level clothes for work, go immediately and buy the blue and white checked Wrinklefighter straight collar shirt ($15) and Class Act Standard Fit No Iron Pants ($20). I find the pants run a bit large and they've got elastic, so a 36 goes up into the 38 range as well. They've got navy and khaki.

They've got magnet-front (no button) dress shirts for folks who might have trouble with buttons from arthritis or the like, too.

Pet related: A nice leather collar for $20.

There are some other great deals there as well, but those pants and shirts are standouts.

Free shipping at $50.

I don't see it but our people need training. Antifa has workshops on how to instigate violence, spot hostile media etc. We need workshops on how to avoid being baited, how to spot feds etc. Or we're just going to keep walking into setups.

PDT should cut them all off at the Pass, and release his taxes on his own. I doubt there is that much there would damage him. Maybe he has less money than he said, but he is till pretty damn rich. He is probably one of the most audited individuals on the planet.

133 Hey, all, I missed the Pet Thread,

Condolences to all those who have lost an animal friend this week.

Somebody asked about ivermectin. I got a tube of the horse paste, a dispensing syringe of it, I mean, from Tractor Supply. There is a store locally, but I ordered online. Miss Linda measured out her dose this week and took it in some peanut butter. (It does not taste like apple as the box says.) Two small side effects: a kind of cold-spike in her forehead between the eyes for a couple of minutes, and a bit of sniffling for about as long, and that was it.

I haven't taken mine yet. Maybe tomorrow.

The first thing I do is spray the wound with
Demmoplast First Aid spray.

I take the nozzle and put it flush to the wound and spay until the medication hits the spot. - you'll know when it hits the spot.

The aerosol forces the medication all the way through the wound and it washes the wound. Also the propellant, propane, is antibacterial.

The dosage goes by body weight, both for people and for horses. The "syringe" is not a needle, it's a plastic barrel with a plunger. You set a knob at the correct marker, lock it, then push the plunger, and the right amount of paste comes out. It's 1 ml (? I think) per 100 lbs. of body weight.

As far as I know, it can either be a prophylactic, or be used as a med if you're showing symptoms.

179 FCCC has the ivermectin dosage. IIRC but don't trust me it was the same dosage per lb as for worming horses. I used what I figured was 200 lbs. (as a horse wormer Ivermectin has a huge safety factor) They label it clearly for 250 lb increments and then it gets harder to tell.

And yes, I believe you take Ivermectin every 2 weeks to ward off the wuFlu, or 2 doses 48 hrs apart for exposed, or 1x/day for 3-4 days if sick. I did the 2 doses, when I thought dad 'might' have the wuFlu and didn't want to get to feeling as punky as him and him maybe get to point of needing hospital. The one that did it for me (beyond entire continents stopping their problems) was the test where they gave X number of doctors and nurses the medicine, and didn't give it to Y doctors and nurses. IIRC 6% of the dosed group tested positive (I'm not sure about symptoms), and something like 90% of the no-Ivermectin group did.

217 195: Other than an aftertaste (I just globbed wormer on some bread and had very tiny wormer sandwich) I had zero side effects. If you got to TSC or order online from someplace like ValleyVet make sure you get Ivermectin for horses (or possibly dogs) and that it is ONLY ivermectin. A lot of cattle wormers have ivermectin but also have other anti-parasite ingredients that I highly doubt were originally developed in Japan as anti-virals and may not be safe to consume.

Anecdotally I know someone who had undiagnosed Limes disease, who thought they had worms from Vietnam service. Other horse wormers would help for a bit, when they took Ivermectin (in hospital, human version) probably over a decade ago now, it cleared up their Limes disease.

218 The CDC's recent flip-flop on masks, now saying that even the vaccinated should go back to wearing masks when in higher-risk places, is based on a single study that looked at a recent Covid outbreak in Barnstable County MA. The vaccinated were getting infected at alarming rates you see. You can find the study here: https://tinyurl.com/92nkmt

What's left out of the study is that the big town in Barnstable is Provincetown. P-Town has been a gay mecca for decades. At the time of the study, P-Town was in full gay pride swing with an influx of out-of-towners who came for the "frigging in the rigging.".

Left a reciprocating saw hanging from a tree. We are between thunderstorms (usually a day ending in y in Kansas).

If it was a one-iron, I'd go out in a thunderstorm. I'd be safe holding it over my head.

Have a great night, everyone. May you be blessed with bliss.

At the beginning of next year, California will begin enforcing an animal welfare proposition approved overwhelmingly by voters in 2018 that requires more space for breeding pigs.

California will lose almost all of its pork supply, much of which comes from Iowa, and pork producers will face higher costs to regain a key market.
