Quick Hits: Tater's Creamy Thighs Edition

French president and coffin-robber Emmanuel Macron... sues a man for depicting him as Hitler on a billboard due to his policy criminalizing unvaccinated people who go to cafes or bars.

And not just that-- the authorities in Toulon, where the billboard was posted, are investigating the man for the crime of "public insult."

The lawyers of French President Emmanuel Macron are suing a man who depicted the head of state as Adolf Hitler, amid recent protests opposing France's health pass and Covid vaccine restrictions.

Michel-Ange Flori, a billboard owner from the southern French region of Var, reported that he was shocked by the charges, which he describes as a breach of his right to freedom of expression.

On Wednesday evening, Flori tweeted: "I have just learned that I will be heard at the Toulon police station tomorrow upon a complaint from the president of the republic."

He highlighted the irony of the charges, making reference to France's controversial history of liberalism and freedom of expression: "So in 'Macronia' we can make fun of the prophet's ass -- it's satire -- but to make the president look like a dictator it’s blasphemy." Flori's remarks reference the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo's controversial depiction of the prophet Mohammed.

One of the billboards in question was placed at the entrance of the southern French town of Toulon and showed Macron in a full Nazi uniform with a toothbrush moustache and swastika armband, which had been adjusted to read 'LREM' (La Republique En Marche) -- the centrist party founded by Macron in 2016.

An investigation was opened by Toulon authorities for "public insult" on Tuesday.

Around the world, the Global Ruling Class has decided to conduct a coup against the democratic process itself.

Here's a picture of the illegal political dissent. The caption reads: "OBEY. GET YOURSELF VACCINATED."

So Mike Lindell is pulling all of his ads off of Fox.

Good for him.

Mike Lindell bought a lot of ads on Fox.

Is Fox just going to run gold ads in their place? Or maybe more ads from their friends at The Lincoln Project?

The Moderate, Centrist Merrick Garland is suing Texas over its efforts to protect itself from covid-carrying illegal aliens secretly scattered throughout the state.

Covid is a terrifying virus that demands we do whatever we can to control it -- if it saves just one life -- unless we're talking about infected illegal aliens.

Then it's no big deal.

In further proof that social media is for the mentally ill, the following posts found at I, Hypocrite.

To help you understand the Authentic Frontier Gibberish below, you need to first understand the term "headmates" is used by people with multiple personality disorder (or pretending to have MPD, for attention) to describe their other personas.

See, it's like roommates, but in your own head?

Below, a mentally ill person asks for advice about his/her/whatever shocking realization that one of his "headmates" is a transphobe!!!, because this headmate, a lesbian, is not attracted to trans "women" with penises.

I don't know what the acronyms mean, except they refer to some kind of made-up gender or sexual preference.

86 "Gentlemen ...", I assumed Biden being handed the nomination was because he was clearly beyond his last legs, very expendable, and it would make no sense to have any of the others - as mediocre or worse as they are - damage themselves by being crushed by Trump.

Only thing that made sense at the time.

Apparently all of my assumptions were very, very wrong.

Though I still wonder why the Biden data team, for PA at least, openly said right before the election that Trump needed 53% of election day votes to win. He got 61%. This is consistent with a blow-out, using parameters the Biden data guys themselves agreed with.

What I wonder of course is ..... what happened? And/or why would their model be so wrong? And of course I've wanted to see Trump's data team state-by-state breakout since election night, at least for the 6 key states. Predictions and info, vs. official results.

You might want to read about the Georgia Yazoo cession act of 1802. One of the requirements was that native Americans be removed from remaining state of Georgia proper into the territories of Alabama and Mississippi which were ceded to the US government in the act. Essentially, presidents until Jackson were arguably breaking this law. History is a lot more complicated than textbooks and to get a better grasp on the issues really requires extensive reading in an era of original sources.

127 87, rhomboid, the huge conference call election night, the wargaming the election, and the Fox call of Arizona for Biden led immediately to the cessation of counting and the huge ballot drops early in the morning after in the crucial contested states indicates coordination across the country by a lot of players.

Note that unlike the 2000 election in Florida, the media is staying far away from requesting the actual ballots to be analyzed by professionals. Instead, this is called a threat to democracy. My guess is that the computerization of elections has led to both Republicans and Democrats being compromised since 2000. Otherwise, the other assumption is that Republicans are being quiet because of blackmail, payoffs, and coercion including credible threats against family and self.

153 Though I still wonder why the Biden data team, for PA at least, openly said right before the election that Trump needed 53% of election day votes to win.

Posted by: rhomboid (OTzUX) at July 30, 2021 04:19 PM (OTzUX)

I don't think that they expected Biden to win. My theory is that everyone was expecting a BLUE WAVE because their models told them it would happen, which would secure the House and give them the Senate. Even if Trump won he'd be hamstrung by a strongly Dem Congress and the narrative that he was poison to the GOP downticket. Instead his coattails nearly carried the GOP to gain the House, and if he'd won they'd have held the Senate as well. The Dems panicked and dumped a ton of ballots in key cities to carry Biden over the edge.

160 whig, wasn't aware of the election night conference call - who? The 2 facts that have never had a serious explanation are the cessation of counting in only a few key states (first time in history, I think), and the pattern of votes (the huge Biden-heavy vote drops in the middle of the night, which didn't match historical patterns or logical patterns).

But it's a measure of how dead the civil society is, especially what is called the "press", as well as of course the "opposition" party, that such clumsy and outlandishly fishy-looking things resulted in ...... absolutely zero interest or scrutiny.

The macro, top-down, common sense notion that the election was stolen is obvious and compelling ("but, but .... umm .... mail-in ballots! that's it! that explains all the anomalies!!"). This screen is greatly reinforced by macro anomalies: bellwether states being all wrong, incumbent with historic partisan approval and historic cross-partisan traction ..... losing to a guy with no campaign.

189 Willowed: Appliances are largely disposable now. They're also way cheaper after adjusting for inflation

I'd agree with that - BUT, you haven't saved any money because 1. you'll have to buy 3 of the POS for every one of whatever it is you're replacing.

I knew a guy and his wife who just a few years ago were still running a Philco refrigerator in their basement for backup beer and soda duty. It was a wedding present in 1948. It worked fine. You'll hear that old refrigerators "waste energy" and should he replaced with "Energy Saving" new models.

This is actually a lie. Shocking, I know, in this day and age. Put an ammeter or otherwise check the current draw on the old beast. It is less than the modern units. And they are quiet. One thing, they do need defrosting now and then.

With a Dryer - an electric dryer can't "save" any energy. If it uses 2/3rds less energy, it just takes 3 hours to dry a load that used to take 45 minutes. F that! I still have a Maytag from 1977 in the laundry room. Cold Dead Fingers MFers.

I get that sometimes, people want to "update" appliances, because of fashion or appearance. But it is insane to retire equipment for that.

By the time Biden was picked they had their entire plan in place. I think bloomberg was the last attempt at an honest win, but after his humiliation they knew they were going with the other route and they just needed to pick a puppet.

I think their surprise was how ineffective the "legal" methods were in FLA (big tech censorship, flooding the airwaves with lies,...) and that they had lost there and needed more illegal votes in the other states to cover.

225 rhomboid, part of the trick was that the Dems had real time access to voting information and voter history and used that to forge the ballots necessary to win using registered voters (some are floaters that do not actually exist) that had not voted as a cover. If you control the voter history files in real time, then you can be assured by 11 pm if they have not voted that they will not do so. That is why the turnout numbers are so out of whack in those jurisdictions.

That is also why the DOJ freaked in AZ when the audit committee wanted to actually contact voters at their registered addresses to determine whether or not they voted.

239 whig if you mean people "voted" by having the system vote for them, when it was certain they hadn't actually voted, yes that seems to be a key technique to fraud based on actual registered, live, in-state voters.

The timely information about who's voted has actually been available for many many cycles. At least 20 years. Know of campaigns where there was a standard 5PM last sweep of targeted voters who hadn't voted yet.

I think Braynard has done some work showing that infrequent voters and out-of-state voters whose names haven't been purged from the registry are likely key raw material for fraud schemes.

I can't help but wonder; since so many vaccinated folks have caught this variant if they even have a covid variant or if they possibly have a totally different respiratory virus but the vaccine protein spikes are confusing the covid tests. (probably I am way off, I know zilch about the subject) But if I'm not; then only general antiviral treatments would be helpful. Monoclonal antibodies seem like they would be specific to covid-19, and plasma from covid patients for sure would only do any good against covid-19. HCQ and ivermectin and the new $$ anti-virals would probably be more broad spectrum.

He wrote a very good trilogy: "Invasion Rabaul: The Epic Story of Lark Force, the Forgotten Garrison, January - July 1942", "Fortress Rabaul: The Battle for the Southwest Pacific January 1942-1943", and "Target: Rabaul: The Allied Siege of Japan's Most Infamous Stronghold, March 1943 -August 1945".

291 I know what you are saying, but they were terribly inefficient. The insulation on them was terrible. One of the miracles of technology is how little energy a fridge uses today compared to the 70s.

No! This is a straight up fucking lie. They (Mostly) use a lot less electricity, if we were talking about the 1970s, you might have a point. Don't trust these assholes. Get your KillaWatt meter out. Measure, don't guess. SOME models were energy hogs. They take the specific, and then apply the general.

It begs the question anyway. We're talking an appliance that might cost $25 or $35 a year to run.

Even if it were true across the board, who fucking cares? Getting rid of a perfectly reliable appliance, spending $900 to save $5 a year and then replace it with an unreliable POS is not a good plan, ever no matter how many times you sharpen your pencil. If you think the POS coming out of you know where are going to last 70 years, forget it. What's the carbon footprint on replacing major appliances every 7 years?

A huge problem with models of effects of freons on ozone and CO2 on global surface temperature is they cannot be adequately test-verified. Even if you sealed-up the largest domed stadium in the world and used it as a test chamber, it's an infinitesimal volume compared to the Earth's atmosphere, and it is all but impossible to simulate everything that can affect the Earth's atmosphere, at that scale.

317 280 mrn88, Umm, not really true. The inner cities have been running voter scams since Tammany Hall. The techniques are well known. But, the Republicans refuse to challenge it because it involves racial issues and the DAs for those cities are Dems. Take a gander at the abortive 2016 audit of Detroit boxes by Jill Stein. It was shut down because the ballot boxes examined contained far less than the votes that were tallied from those boxes. Thus, they ran the same ballots through the scanner multiple times. From reports, it appears that the same tactic was used in GA and probably AZ.

It is more likely that fraud is established business in those cities and once the govt goes to the Dems, they create a self perpetuating fraud machine.

Those living farther from the moonbat-pocalypse may not be aware that the leading edge of the fringe has been busy, ideologically - arguing that The Chosen Ones, whomever they may be at a given moment, are owed sexual gratification from Everyone Else, and that Everyone Else is bigoted if they say they're not interested. It's a great combination of obscene, power-hungry, and evil. Not insane - they know what they're asking, they're just truly that evil.

It's here where well-meaning or even pragmatic, self-interested feminists depart ways with the prog orthodoxy. Just as we all suffered the shift in demands from "bake the cake" to "wax the balls" to "suck the dick", so have they.

345 Adding to whig's comment, the MI recount in '16 was stopped because under state law there must be a base level of reconciliation/agreement between ballot box contents and the register (tally) at enough precincts. Wayne County failed - spectacularly - to meet this thresh-hold. In '20, *this measure was WORSE in Wayne County than in '16*.

An "election" so fraudulent that you can't even do a recount.

In a "GOP-controlled" (legislature, big dogs in elections and election law) state. One wonders how many times MI has been stolen for a Dem prez candidate since 1992.

Oh - and another MI-related highlight of '20. Key battleground counties in MI, which had a 30-year history of prez campaign intense effort/ground game .... saw no Biden effort. Local Dems were mystified. But yeah, he won MI by 100K+ votes.

The Aussies did more than most realize. The issue is that they haven't decided that it's time yet.

For those unaware, the number of guns the Aussies handed in is less than the number of Ruger 10/22's imported. Australia may not be stacked to the rafters with guns like the US, but they're pretty well provisioned - and almost entirely off the books at this point.

356 The Moderate, Centrist Merrick Garland is suing Texas over its efforts to protect itself from covid-carrying illegal aliens secretly scattered throughout the state.

Stupid Abbott sent a sternly worded letter back to Garland instead of counter suing.

BUT
