The Quotes of The Day

Quote II

When in doubt, don't.Benjamin Franklin

Quote III

Quote IV

Quote V

“It has been all carrot and no stick,”Ian Porter, a former oil and gas executive who now leads the West Australian environmental group Sustainable Energy Now

Quote VI

“Although it may seem inadequate, the law is the law. The harm it caused, the death and destruction….it’s almost unspeakable. This is not like cases we frequently have that involve guns and carjacking and drugs. This is a whole different level of insidious criminal behavior here.”Judge Mark Norris

Good work if you can get it.

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — 9 Investigates why a Seminole County Sheriff’s Office captain wasn’t given a medical evaluation or sobriety test after being found passed out in traffic, his engine running and his foot on the brake, at a Seminole County intersection.

Channel 9 investigative reporter Karla Ray was the only one to obtain video of the incident, which shows a responding deputy giving the captain a fist bump before sending him on his way.

OK, the answer is: It is none of your f*cking business. HIPAA does not stop businesses asking you if you have been jabbed for the Kung Flu.

Fact check: Businesses can legally ask if patrons have been vaccinated. HIPAA does not apply.

The claim: HIPAA prevents anyone from asking if you are vaccinated
As mask-wearing and social distancing guidelines relax for fully vaccinated people, businesses are navigating how to implement new policies in their stores. Many businesses are ending mask requirements only for fully vaccinated customers.

Vaccine opponents, including Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., are using the occasion to resurrect the false claim that the HIPAA federal privacy law protects individuals from being asked about their vaccination status.

On May 18, several GOP members refused to wear masks on the House floor in defiance of House rules on mask-wearing, including Greene. When asked whether she was vaccinated, Greene told reporters that asking about her vaccine status was a HIPAA violation.

Greene is not the only one spreading this claim, which has spread widely on social media in recent days.

And Florida Goldi Locks said this pool is just right.

Florida woman accused of skinny-dipping in stranger’s pool, deputies say Heather A. Kennedy charged with trespassing, resisting officer without violence

The homeowner told deputies he returned home and noticed a naked stranger in his pool after spotting clothing scattered across the lanai.

Deputies said when they arrived at the Cambridge Drive home Kennedy was hostile toward officers and told them to leave her alone.

According to records, deputies asked her to get dressed and to get out of the pool several times.

If kids were blowing out their brains, gun manufacturers would be the center of attention. Tik Tok not so much.

A TWELVE-year-old boy died on Tuesday after reportedly attempting the viral TikTok "blackout challenge" only months after it left another 12-year-old with brain damage.

Cops are investigating the death of the boy after he was found “unresponsive" with “ligature marks” around his neck in an Oklahoma apartment at midnight on Monday.

Hopefully these guys will never be cops again.

Two police officers were handed prison sentences after beating multiple porcupines to death with batons. Michael Rolerson, 31, and Addison Cox, 28, were reportedly fired from the Rockland Police Department in September after another cop allegedly posted a video showing Rolerson killing a porcupine.

Other cops apparently saw or heard about the beatings and one of them informed officer Anne Griffith, who vowed to report it and told the colleague to do the same.

‘This was not dispatching a deer that was hit by a car. This was not dispatching a pest animal that may be a threat to humans or domesticated animals,’ Griffith wrote in a letter to her supervisor obtained by The Portland Press Herald. ‘These porcupines were in their natural habitat and causing no harm.’

Do gooder fascists cause environmental problems.

Since the Covid-19 pandemic began last year, face masks and other personal protective equipment have become essential for health care workers. Disposable N95 masks have been in especially high demand to help prevent the spread of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes Covid-19.

All of those masks carry both financial and environmental costs. The Covid-19 pandemic is estimated to generate up to 7,200 tons of medical waste every day, much of which is disposable masks. And even as the pandemic slows down in some parts of the world, health care workers are expected to continue wearing masks most of the time.

Husband who beat wife divorcing him to death on cruise ship found dead in jail

The old saying goes something like this, "It is easier to ask for forgiveness than it is for permission." The person who coined this statement never dealt with the crazies of San Francisco.

San Francisco, in the midst of a severe housing crunch, has fined a pair of developers for adding more housing units to an apartment complex than they were permitted to build. It might also require them to remove some of the existing illegal units.

On Friday, the San Francisco Chronicle reported that an ownership group including Yin Kwan Tam and Cindy Zhou Lee has agreed to pay the city $1.2 million to settle numerous code violations at a collection of apartment buildings they constructed on San Bruno Avenue in the city's Portola District.

Planning documents show that in 2013 the city granted permission for the construction of five buildings—containing 10 units of housing plus office space and ground-floor retail—on lots that were either vacant or featured a shuttered gas station.

Do you have a burning desire to visit Iceland? Here are some tips about your visit.

10 Useless Icelandic phrases you should not bother to learn

While visiting Iceland it's useful to know some key phrases in Icelandic, like góðan dag/good day, takk fyrir/thank you and matseðilinn takk/the menu please. Then you have some you should not bother with. Here are ten.
1. Hvar er næsti McDonald’s? / Where is the nearest McDonald’s?
Nope, no Big Mac for you. There are no MacDonald’s restaurants in Iceland. The fast food chain used to run three outlets in Iceland for a while, but they closed their doors in 2009, the owner maintained it was due to the economic crisis. We believe it was because local burger joints beat off the competition with their tasty burgers (you don’t’ find Starbucks either in Iceland. The local cafes whip up much better coffee drinks).

The ONT Musical Interlude

I wish there were more musicians like Eric Clapton. Eric Clapton Won’t Perform for “Discriminated” Audiences Where Vaccination Is Required - Following the news that the UK will implement a vaccine passport for certain events, Clapton said, "I will not perform on any stage where there is a discriminated audience present"

Canned Heat, Nazareth, Edgar Broughton Band, Groundhogs, Sensational Alex Harvey Band, Medicine Head, all appeared at Buxton Festival in Derbyshire, England. Hell's Angels arrived in force and proceeded to drink the site dry. Initially they paid for the booze, but when the money ran out a deputation was sent into the audience to collect donations of 10p per person. About 20 minutes into his set Chuck Berry was showing one of the Angels how to do his duck-walk properly. He did one from one end of the stage to the other and disappeared into the wings. The band played on, the Angels bopped, and Chuck legged it to his car and drove off at high speed, never to return. via thisdayinmusic.com

Two Feel Good Stories Tonight

Officer Mark Conklin, Tonight's 1st Feel Good Story of The Day.

A police officer is being hailed as a hero after incredible footage from his body camera showed him responding to a building engulfed in flames before saving the occupants’ lives by catching them when they jumped out of a window.

The incident occurred at approximately 12:15 a.m. on Monday, July 19, in Jamestown, New York -- about 70 miles southwest of Buffalo -- when Officer Mark Conklin was handling a service call on Baker Street and he was alerted to a possible house fire about a block away on William Street, according to a statement from the Jamestown Police Department

Stupid games and stupid prizes. Tonight's 2nd Feel Good Story of The Day.

LOS ANGELES — A man armed with a handgun defended himself during an attempted armed robbery in Los Angeles, and left two suspects with gunshot wounds to their legs, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

“Words were apparently exchanged, and the victim ultimately produces a handgun, apparently to defend himself and others in his group from the would-be robbery suspects. The victim fired his weapon towards the suspects and then all parties immediately fled the location,” LAPD said in a news release Tuesday.

17 The San Francisco officials might be dicks, but that doesn't mean they weren't right in this case. From the Reason article:

Planning documents show that in 2013 the city granted permission for the construction of five buildings - containing 10 units of housing plus office space and ground-floor retail - on lots that were either vacant or featured a shuttered gas station.

The developers instead ended up building 29 total units without any of the offices or open space they had promised. In addition, the final project lacked some of the promised parking spots and had none of the fancy façade features depicted in the original plans. The new units also lack a second means of egress, which is required for fire safety purposes.

So the builders tried to pack more people into the building, with fewer parking spaces (which likely means more congestion on the streets), and without the required safety features. Yeah, I'm not sure I would trust the builders to not cut other corners as well.

19 "Religion is what keeps the poor from murdering the rich."

I have been saying that Revelation in Scripture is written in such a way where a person can read Pre, Post, Amill-, Dispensational, Pan- or pretty much any other interpretation from it. It is the perfect Post Modern document in that it is the wax nose that can be molded to say anything the reader wants.

But at the end, no matter what Age, Culture or Nation the reader bases his interpretation in, the result of it is always: "God Has This Under Control, Don't Overthrow Your Government".

This is the most infuriating part. We trust our lives and our health to "health care workers" yet they are fully invested in the medically indefensible position that the face diaper has any medical benefit.

Proof again that hospitals suffer from the same gallery of pathologies of any entrenched bureaucracy.

52 Evening peeps.

HIPAA... in a nutshell it prohibits your medical conditions and medications from being disclosed unlawfully. It generally applies to the electronic records, but paper ones too. It is legal for someone to ask if you've been vaccinated... they're not asking you if you've got rabies, or the clap, or... they're asking if you've gotten the jab. Whether or not you tell the truth is your bidness.

Posted by: Martini Farmer at July 21, 2021 09:15 PM (BFigT)

53 HIPAA -

Conversely, If one has a medical condition that would make the jab 'not advisable', then a Business would be in violation of ADA for refusing service to that one which did not get the jab.

Demanding proof that a customer really needed that wheelchair or you'll kick their ass out, if you will.
So, conceptually, HIPAA does apply.

Let's ask Morgan and Morgan if they'll take the case...

63 Reading the EEOC update on COVID says an employer can require the vax but if you have a valid medical or religious reason for not doing so, they can't fire you but have to make reasonable accommodations for those that choose not to vax. They can ask if your vaccinated but if you say no for medical reasons they cannot ask anything beyond that and can't fire you for not getting vaxxed but may require the employee to work from home or wear a mask.

64 I think people can help the situation a lot if they follow Clapton's lead. Refuse any service, activity, or privilege that is restricted based on jab status, whether you yourself are jabbed or not. Treat a business the same way you would if they refused service to blacks, for instance.

Posted by: Emmie -- we need more Trump, not less at July 21, 2021 09:20 PM (Hrwnm)

65 @53: "... then a business would be in violation of ADA for refusing service ..."

Theoretically, but not necessarily. Devil in those details, and it gets into the whole "greater good" aspect of public health exceptions. Likely gets litigated from the bench, in favor of refuse service, and appealed all the way up to the Supreme Court. Depends on the specific details of the case. Possible that you can't refuse for things like open air outdoor dining, but could for something like spending more than fifteen minutes in a small office for something like a therapy session or eye doctor appointment.

Also, there's gonna be an epic meltdown when all the people who got it because FedGov told them they didn't have to wear a mask anymore are now being told by FedGov that ackshually, they were sold a bill of goods and better start wearing masks again and bend over for Shutdown 2.0. Watching this go down should be entertaining as hell.

84 Clapton, in my opinion as a music fan and a guitarist since i was 10, is the greatest guitarist to ever play. On top of writing some of the best music, reinterpreting songs in an original way, and innovating on multiple fronts, he probably is the cleanest musician out there, someone who pretty much never hits a wrong note and can play every style imaginable (watching him shred is hilarious though) He also did it without having to rely on gimmicks. I'd have to say his songs with Derek and the Dominoes take up a few of my top 10 slots.

He's always been fairly conservative from what I've read, as he's a guy who seems to want to live his life, enjoy his passions and his friends, and not be pushed around by someone else's demands. Plus like a real conservative, when he sees a problem he deals with it, not expecting daddy government to do so.

163 Courts have ruled that employers can fire those who refuse the jab. Same goes for schools and students.

For experimental emergency use authorized vaccines? Says who?

The courts are in direct violation of black letter federal law, then. How does that work?

Approved immunizations have long been required, if not always rigourously enforced (40 million illegal migrants and foreign nationals don'tcha know)

This will likely become moot once FDA approval is secured. A debacle of epic proportion, and one that will continue for decades. It could very well (further) bankrupt social security "disability".

Also not a good look for fascists, because it won't matter what the issue is - "Do this, or get fired." They don't care what the law is, and there's nobody left practically who does.

You think things are weird now? You ain't seen nothin'. These are the good old days.

Posted by: Blinker at July 21, 2021 09:59 PM (psnXj)

235 I've explained it before but here you go:

Those that are vaccinated (if it's effective) cannot catch COVID from me if I get it.

Those that choose not to get vaccinated understand their risk and accept that they might catch it, so we're fine running around with the other half who also aren't vaccinated. We just think the odds are in our favor.

So there is no reason whatever to force vaccination on people. Those that want it can get it and be protected from those of us who don't want it.

If it's a real vaccine that works, of course.

261 The place I used to work is on an Army installation. I spoke with my former supervisor last week about how they were handling the whole vax/no vax thing. He said they want everyone to get the jab, but they can't make them, nor are they going down the rabbit hole about mandating it and collecting vax cards to verify... yet. OTOH not being vaccinated is not a valid reason to work from home because you're afraid you'll get something or other if you go into the office.

IMO all the bitching and moaning is moot. It's already apparent even if you get the vax you may get the crud anyway.

It's sinister, and there's something else going on behind the scenes that those in the know would rather not discuss. I'm betting it has to do with DNA markers and bioweapons targeted at specific populations/races that are probably not Chinese. That's my tinfoil hat talking BTW.

262 Okay. I just took a swipe through CDC history. You have to go around the CDC website as, big shocker here, it gives virtually no information.

I checked on deaths related to the polio vaccine from the '50's. A bad batch was shipped and 53 fatalities from the vaccine and over 100 cases contracted. In addition, more people closely associated with those who had received the bad batch also died or contracted polio.
Compare to the "Rona vaccine push now with a death toll of, IIRC 9,000. The Salk vaccine had been tested extensively which this current stuff is only now being tested on a frightened and cowed population.

One of my tasks since January of 2020 was to compile and present all-things-C19 to governments, GSOCs, institutions and other entities. I'm talking heat maps, charts, forecasts, time-series, everything. The NGA approached me to help them sort out C19 NPI compliance with a contract that runs through 3Q2021.

I put a stop to it back in May - ten months after the pandemic was over and it appears that C19 is endemic like a myriad of other bugs. None of my clients care anymore. Most stopped caring after June2020. The last stopped caring in February 2021.

It only runs in political and social media circles to cover and take all of the oxygen up over the real horrors of inflation, economic crash, tyranny and impeding wars that are about to crush us all.

I get a strong Big Tobacco vibe from all this. I actually don't have a huge problem with the concept of fast-tracking an experimental treatment in an emergency situation for those who want it, but to then immediately turn around and shout that it's totally safe and perfect and wonderful and everyone had better get it right now or else is disingenuous and, yes, very creepy. Especially given the extreme levels of political interference from numerous factions all exploiting the moment for their own disparate and often conflicting goals.

Last night I talked about the rich depth of 60's-70's-80's guitarists, and how there really is nobody that has snatched the crown from them. Sure, we argue it's Hendrix, it's Clapton, it's Page, it's Trower, it's Stevie Ray Vaughn, or someone else.
The fact remains that today, these guys are approaching 70, or died when they were that unlucky 27, but nobody has replaced their skillful ability to make an inanimate object sing with the soul and humanity as they all did.
IDK why. I'm not going to speculate, but know it is true.

My realization is that this gaping hole in the replacing of a previous generation of maestros with younger ones isn't happening. It's not happening in music, in government leadership, or in corporate leadership. Or reading jmel's post, not even some narcissistic drivers stopping to help a person in need.
I'm not sure where I'm going with this, other than to be really fucking depressed and wonder where we all fucked up.

Actually, Richie Blackmore said something similar once upon a time. Among the session guys in Nashville were some really great guitarists, that would make Richie look bad, and Blackmore was a tremendous guitarist himself.

Clapton is a fine guitar player, but a performer and showman, too. And I have about a million of his records and CD's. He is not the greatest guitar player alive today, but that doesn't mean I don't love to listen to him and hear him play.

He had an interview (video) not long ago, and discussed the lockdowns (bad, repressive) and his reaction to vaccination; he was in pain (in his hands) for weeks after the second shot, and thought he would never play again. He has said that now a lot of his friends don't call or talk to him now, all over being public with his bad reaction.
As he says, he's a musician, not a doctor or scientist.

378 I usually stay out of "best guitarist" conversations, because my criteria is from the viewpoint of a guitar player. I judge guitar players by how hard they make me stretch my own ability
to play their stuff, but after years it came to a point where nothing
really pushed me "that" hard. Then I started looking at which ones were
unique. There are a ton of ham and egg players, so I don't even consider
them. At the same time there are others that are easy to play, but just have
little quirks that work and they use it brilliantly. One example, I'm not a pink floyd fan, they can
make an
ounce of crystal meth fall asleep, but that guitar player can do more
with one frigging string than others do with 6. He bends into notes,
bends out of notes, bends during the notes. Is he hard to play? Fuck no,
not by a long shot, but he is unique.

383 I haven't been around here in the last few months much, because, frankly, the news was so fucking depressing. And some chit in my personal life wasn't going according to plan, either. So this week I decided to start posting again, and did so last night.
After a few months of being away, the news is actually worse than when I left. But something else brought me back, and I intend to stay around.
There are still good people, doing good things, and not for self-benefit.
And those people congregate here in the gray boxes. I feel like I owe you, well most of you anyway, for helping me stay sane and providing inspiration to continue to put one foot in front of the other, and repeat it until progress appears.
The gray box people here are, for a lack of a better term, my "church". The collective wisdom here is as good or better than anything else, anywhere.
So, thank you all. For being you. IDK what the future holds, but I am glad I'm facing it with support from this gang of misfits, professionals, and morons.

385 HIPPA was one of the factors that was said to have resulted in the death of a much beloved high school football coach here in Iowa about 10 years ago, Coach Thomas.

Standard issue nutbar kid, really truly crazy, and had been in and out of institutions. "The law" says you can't lock anybody up until he or she does something. He kept doing things, kept hearing voices, kept doing bizarre scary things in public ... but nothing was done about it. When he was released from "observation", law enforcement wasn't notified.

Because of HIPPA, they claim. Or somebody claims. Well he shot and killed Coach Thomas in a class, the kid was no longer even a student.

386 I'm not sure where I'm going with this, other than to be really fucking depressed and wonder where we all fucked up.

Friedrich Nietzsche probably explained it best in his writing of the madman yelling God is Dead.

I have a working theory (based on Romans 1, 1 Cor 2 and many other passages) that the further one is estranged from God, the greater the noetic dysfunction.

John Boyd, OODA evangelist, theorized that to win one needs to have a tighter OODA loop (Observe, Orient, Decide, Act). Pixy only allows me to focus on Decide here and I think that there is a strong correlation to making good decisions based on Wisdom, and one's world-view is a primary influence. A world view that is hostile to Imago Dei is one that will yield the greater atrocities in the Decide department.

Douglas County, NV is beautiful. So is Elko County. Douglas County has Garderville and Minden, which are really nice. Storey County has acreage properties in the Virginia City Highlands. Very red county, but only 30 minute drive to the Reno airport. Dr. Saifedean Ammous is on a podcast by Jeff Deist and is a very interesting speakier. He is putting out a new book called the Fiat Standard, which talks mostly about fiat currencies, how they developed, and how they are essentially a mechanism to create poverty. He also talks about how they affect society. One of the results is to destroy people's bonds in a society and to force short term thinking and personal focus above community.

What I've noticed is it's sometimes really difficult to cover some tunes well, even if they are "easy". There's a YT video of John Hurt playing "spike driver blues" on an old black and white folkie TV show.

It's basically one chord in G throughout, but he's playing " Travis style" or fingerstyle and it's just about impossible to play. Like he did anyway. Slow it down to 1/4 speed and see what I mean. The guy had been playing for 50 years so ...

Trump pushed hard on the healthcare sector to produce the jabs. This isn't exactly a hard to find fact.
So they rushed an untested experimental treatment out on the world, and based on what we know *now* is about 1% as lethal as COVID itself. Though, COVID really only kills the old and infirm, and the jabs seem to target the young and healthy.

And of course the long term effects will only show up over time.

Exactly what I'm talking about. I taught a 45 year old woman, who never touched a guitar, who lives 900 miles from me how to play classical with some minor beginning instruction using a web cam, and pointing her to all the tools she could use. She was reading tabs and learning her own songs in a month.

I've wondered about that a lot. Must have been a real pain in the ass back in the day to figure out what the hell somebody was doing, esp. when they were in some off brand tuning with a capo on the 4 and they aren't even tuned to standard pitch, instead down in the cracks at 433 hz or whatever.

Here's another really good guitarist a lot of people have never heard of - Tony McManus. He plays celtic style, he can emulate bagpipes, with all the trills and stuff. Ya don't have to like that stuff to recognize the guy is a master on the instrument. Mostly plays in DADGAD tuning.

482 LOTS of famous tunes, even hits, are all kinds of wacked out, tuning wise. A classic is "California Dreamin'". The "flute solo", a fixed pitch instrument. So technically, everybody else is "out of tune" if you want to look at it that way, but anyway you look at it, it sounds weird.

"Night Moves" by Bob Segar isn't out of tune, but it is tuned down in the cracks, I think it's about 433hz or thereabouts and a capo on the first fret.

Alternate tunings are a good excuse to buy more guitars.

525 Yeah, I don't think you can have a "greatest guitarist" unless you are going by arbitrary standards such as "can play more styles well" "can play the most notes fastest" " knows the most chords". So much revolves around the song and how much you personally like the style played. Two of my personal favorites who I haven't heard mentioned are Brian Setzer and Billy Gibbons. I also usually love youngish Neil Young extended solos and fully realize that technically he is pretty limited for a name player. Just love his usual electric tone, though.

Always stuck with a Strat with a Rat and delay pedal live.

538 That photo has the Encina power plant in the background. Just past there (going right, or north) was the end-point for my rides when I did regular rides up the coast. Started across the road from Torrey Pines golf course (where they just had the open). Which meant on returning south, I had an almost mile-long uphill climb to finish. It was about 35 miles total.

Really need to get back to doing regular long rides at a decent pace, as part of a recovery program (getting back in shape/shedding a few ounces). Rides along the coast spoil you, though - the scenery, the temperatures - makes it hard to do rides inland.

You are not kidding. I have 6 guitars in a rack behind me. 2 are tuned to E, one is Eb, another is D, another is C, another is C#. Those are the beaters, because my good stuff stays at E in somewhat climate control because the nuts are cut for .009 gauge strings and are set up for that. With all the lower tunings you need heavier strings, and no fucking way am I altering my good stuff because metal bands are all over the frigging map these days with tunings. It drives the wife crazy. She'll walk in and say why are you playing those pieces of shit, can't you spare one??

".... Personally, I believe deeply that we lose something vital to our survival as a Nation when we forget the blood of patriots.
Words, symbols, heated rhetoric and clever argument all pale when measured against the brilliance of the white of marble, the emerald carpet of living grass borne over they who rest beneath, forevermore.
And the fields and fields of flags upon each, bearing quiet witness to the precious, eternal value of that sacrifice.
Dignity, honor, respect and a day of remembrance is all that they ask now of us. Especially, remembrance.
So, this weekend, set aside if only for a day, thoughts of (D) or (R). Rail not against your fellow American, nor wish harm to him, his party or his creed. Not on this day.
The men and women in those graves are no longer Democrats or Republicans. They are still and eternally though Americans, and are forevermore worthy of this day given but to them.
Honor the Day. Honor Them."

Hell, we're worried about ol' Bob@NSA and his buddies (and rightly so), but it looks like now private actors, if they have enough money, can do the same thing Bob can.

I've never had a smart phone (Miley hasn't either), and never will. Never created one social media account of any sort. All my vehicles are old enough not to have any GPS shit on them. And that's the way it's going to stay.

Yeah, no clue what they're saying either, lol. I only catch some of it. They're from Germany. I think the song is mostly about soldiers that probably died in WWII because of assholes like hitler and the Hiro shithead, a war that was lost before it began, etc, but I do think they talking about everybody's fallen. I think the first verse is Honor the fallen heroes, see their last resting place, perished in the battle of nations, where they found eternal peace.

603 I spent the whole afternoon hammering stuck pistons out of an old Studebaker V8 engine that had sat on the ground in my yard several years, after having sat on the ground elsewhere for years before that. Took a lot of blows with a ten-pound sledge, but they all yielded. Pistons are junk, of course, as are the connecting rods. I have a good supply of used ones, no big deal. Block might clean up standard, re-ring it with brand-new second-hand pistons. If not, it can be bored oversize. That will be saved. Crank, likewise, might polish up to to standard size. Camshaft will be OK.

If I can make it run again for a couple hundred dollars, I will. I have a potential use for it, but not if it needs a three thousand dollar rebuild.

At any rate, I am tired, and time to hit the sack. Night, Horde.

Hubby is in therapy, improving physically. Definitely seeing some cognitive issues.

We had a weird string going to concerts at one point.

Jules got really into Meat Loaf in her retirement. First concert we went to was Atlantic City, 9/10/01. Yep, we flew home on 9/11. From what I can figure from the timing I think we were close to the path of the plane that went down in Shanksville.

Landed at O'Hare and it was spooky. Very quiet, it was early, but a lot of armed police. We drove home, talking about the trip and didn't have the radio on. After stopping at the DeKalb oasis turned the radio on and the second tower was collapsing. A bunch of people called when we got home as they were worried that tragic day.

Second was a bit later, we went to the UK for a few concerts, came in to Heathrow. Brit friend picked us up and we drove right by where there was that bombing, I think at a tube station, just a few hours later.

There was a third thing too, I can't recall. We thought we should stay home, but we didn't. Luckily we just missed 3 tragic situations, but that didn't stop us.

I also said, "Since COVID began I have not been infected, nor has anyone I know, and the one person I know said to have died from COVID had long term Blood clot problems already and died after the Vaccine."
I expect eventually the Dr office will request I end my business with them unless I get that shot.
