Poll: Majority of Americans Don't Think That Biden Is Making the Decisions in the White House

A Trafalgar poll, which I think is Republican-leaning. Which means it doesn't have a deliberate leftwing bias.

56.5% of American voters do not believe that President Biden is fully executing the duties of his office, while 36.4% believe he is directing all policy and agenda

31.7% of Democrat voters do not believe that President Biden is fully executing the duties of his office, while 58.6% believe he is directing all policy and agenda

83.6% of Republican voters do not believe that President Biden is fully executing the duties of his office, while 11% believe he is directing all policy and agenda

58.4% of Independent voters do not believe that President Biden is fully executing the duties of his office, while 36.1% believe he is directing all policy and agenda

The Daily Wire points out that the doctor from the Obama White House -- Ronny Jackson -- says that Biden needs to take a cognitive ability test, stat.

"You don't need to be a physician to look at this behavior and see there's something concerning happening," Jackson said. "You can go back -- there's forty years of tape of this man -- he's always made gaffes and stuff but these are different, he’s confused, he’s disoriented."

"We all know people who are 100-years old, who basically are as sharp as a tack, and we know people who are in their mid-60's that having some cognitive difficulties…and I think he’s on that end of the spectrum," Jackson continued. "He's just not aging gracefully at this point. I'm just asking them, when you do the physical exam include the cognitive assessment. As far as I'm concerned the standard precedent has been set and they need to follow and do the same."

Just to prove this, Biden again read directly from his notes when asked about Russia.

Why is Russia still even problem? I thought the only reason it was a problem is because Putin had Hooker Pee-Pee Tapes of Trump.

Now that strong tough Joey B's in charge, shouldn't Putin be cowering?

31 Trafalgar was, I think, the best survey operation in '16. They seemed to very serious about getting things right. I thought they had Trump winning convincingly in '20. I haven't looked to see their post-mortems, if any. They did post pretty straightforward, analytical discussions prior to the election - they came across as actually trying to get the best estimate possible, and to adapt survey research to the changing circumstances.

However, taking it in context as a "flash poll", I did find it intriguing that it might be suggestive of the Dem vote for Trump. It is a near-certainty that this was a significant figure, given all the plain evidence of Trump's political traction across party lines. Such as up to 40% (more?) of Trump rally attendees in 2020 being registered Dems.

I think, for 95 percent of what government in DC does, the bureaucrats are in charge with minimal guidance from their appointed secretaries, assistant secretaries, principal deputy assistant secretaries, associate deputy assistant secretaries, and the like. I would agree with this. Even during the cold war, it was important for the Soviets to puff themselves up to seem more of threat. At the end of the Soviets run, their navy was extremely subpar, their nuclear strike capabilities were degraded from decades of neglect and little upkeep money, and they couldn't keep mobile divisions operational in the field for more than a few weeks, everything broke down. The would be serious nuisance in any war, but dealt with strongly at the outset, they would be more than happy to then sit out any conflict involving other actors.

This is putting additional strain on the supply chains.

285 So I'm continuing my dive into the vote growth between 2016 and 2020.

I mentioned on the ONT last night that Biden vote totals over Clinton grew by a much larger percentage than Trump's did from 2016 to 2020. This happened in 42 states, including some of the deepest red states. States like Kansas, South Dakota, and Idaho.

One average, Biden's vote increased Trump's by 3.68% across all 50 states.

I have some theories here, but trying to find a baseline to estimate against I went to 18 bellweather counties for comparison.

Now Trump won all of these counties, but if you average the increase in Biden's growth over Trump's the advantage is 0.58%

It looks like vote growth is inflated by about 3% roughly.
