Hunter Biden's Laptop Contains Photos of Joe Biden Meeting With Hunter's Foreign "Business Partners" -- Despite Joe Biden's Vow That He Had No Part in Hunter's "Businesses"

This is by Miranda Devine, another excerpt from her upcoming book about Hunter Biden's laptop.

At some point the Biden White House will have to confront evidence of the president's involvement in his son Hunter’s shady overseas business dealings.
Joe Biden insists he never knew a thing about Hunter's lucrative deals in countries where he wielded influence as vice president.
But evidence abounds on Hunter's abandoned laptop of Joe's involvement.
For instance, Joe invited Hunter's foreign associates to breakfast meetings at his vice presidential residence and to his office in the White House, the laptop shows. He took his son on Air Force Two to countries where Hunter was doing deals, and on at least one occasion, included one of Hunter's business partners on the trip.
Among more than 100 events scheduled in Hunter's diary at the VP's residence at the Naval Observatory in Washington, DC, there are meetings which appear to overlap with Hunter’s business interests.
"Breakfast with Dad -- NavObs" is one such meeting recorded for 8:30 a.m. on Nov. 19, 2015. Five photographs date-stamped on that day and taken at 10:03 a.m. and 10:04 a.m. appear on the laptop, showing Joe posing with four of Hunter's business associates, including Mexican billionaires Carlos Slim and Miguel Aleman Velasco.

One photo also features Velasco’s son Miguel Aleman Magnani, the founder of budget airline Interjet, at whose Acapulco mansion Hunter and wife Kathleen had stayed that March. Jeff Cooper, a longtime Biden family benefactor, who ran one of the largest asbestos litigation firms in the country, Illinois-based SimmonsCooper, also appears along with Hunter.

Cooper and Hunter had been working on energy deals in Mexico and elsewhere in Latin America. A 2013 email from Cooper demonstrates their high expectations of the association with the Aleman dynasty.
"Miguel wants us to go to Mexico City," he wrote to Hunter on Feb. 26. "This is setting up to be flippin gigantic brother."
At the time, President Enrique Pena Nieto was reforming Mexico's energy market to allow private capital investment in state-owned oil and gas monopoly Petroleos Mexicanos (Pemex).

SimmonsCooper also put up $1 million in investment capital for Hunter and his uncle Jim Biden's abortive attempt to run a hedge fund in 2009. When the venture ended, the Bidens returned the money.

Burisma, the corrupt Ukrainian energy company that was paying Hunter $83,333 to sit on its board, also got involved in his Mexican ventures.
In a 2014 email, Cooper wrote to Hunter: "I met with Miguel [Aleman Magnani] last night. He has set up mtgs with the Secty of Energy and the CEO of Pemex for Jan 12. Is there any chance that anyone from Burisma could attend?"

Read the whole thing. The media -- including the "fair and balanced alternative Fox News," whose news division is controlled by in-their-bones leftwingers like Chris Wallace -- refuses to demand Joe Biden answer questions about the lie that he was not involved in Hunter's shady dealings.

The National Pulse just reported that Hunter Biden invested in a partner company to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, because of course Hunter Biden is involved in the Coronavirus Business as well.

Rosemont Seneca Technology Partners -- an investment firm led by Hunter Biden -- was a lead financial backer of Metabiota, a pandemic tracking and response firm that has partnered with Peter Daszak's EcoHealth Alliance and the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
Rosemont Seneca Technology Partners (RSTP) was an offshoot of Rosemont Capital, an investment fund founded by Biden and John Kerry's stepson in 2009, that counted Biden as a Managing Director.

And you're never going to believe this -- the law firm Hunter Biden served as counsel at took active steps to avoid properly disclosing itself as an agent of a foreign government.

The prominent law firm for which Hunter Biden served as counsel took steps to avoid disclosing to Congress its work with Ukrainian energy giant Burisma Holdings, emails from Biden's laptop show.
Heather King, a partner at Boies Schiller Flexner, detailed the lobbying strategy in emails to Biden, his business partners, and an executive for Burisma Holdings in 2014. King wrote that she planned to provide legal and political services for Burisma "right up to the line" at which the law firm would have to disclose the work under federal lobbying laws. King also wrote of plans to meet with State Department officials in order to advocate for Burisma, which was seeking to expand its operations in the West as its owner was the subject of an international bribery investigation.
The emails highlight the gray area of federal lobbying laws, which provide some exemptions for lawyers. King's strategy to avoid registering under the Lobbying Disclosure Act or the more stringent Foreign Agents Registration Act was for Burisma to hire the firm ML Strategies as its lobbyist of record.
Boies Schiller Flexner has not been accused of any wrongdoing, but another Hunter Biden-linked firm, Blue Star Strategies, is under federal investigation for its undisclosed lobbying for Burisma. Biden also helped facilitate Blue Star's consulting deal with Burisma, emails show. Rudy Giuliani, a personal lawyer for former president Donald Trump, is also under federal investigation for his foreign lobbying activities.
Boies Schiller Flexner's arrangement with Burisma appeared to be an example of a firm trying to avoid having to publicly disclose its lobbying activities, one government ethics watchdog told the Washington Free Beacon.

Michael Flynn was prosecuted for far, far less.

A lawyer for Boies Schiller Flexner, who declined to speak on the record, insisted that the firm complied with lobbying laws.

Boies Schiller Flexner has come under scrutiny in recent years for its behind-the-scenes influence activities. The company hired Black Cube, an Israeli private intelligence firm, to spy on victims of Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein. David Boies, the founder of the law firm, represented Theranos, a blood test maker whose owner was indicted for defrauding the government. A Wall Street Journal reporter who published a series of exposés on Theranos has said that Boies and King tried to pressure the paper to kill negative stories about Theranos.

No one asks Biden's White House about this. I never see Fox News reporters -- or the Chris Wallace's Leftwing Opinions Network reporters -- demanding answers about this.

Remember, the Fox "News" Division stayed away from the laptop. It was only the so-called "opinion hosts" who reported the news.

The problem with yard tools is the only thing you can do with them is take care of your yard.

Also, I live in SC with a decent-sized yard featuring a slight incline. It's just small enough for a push mower. Mine is great but self-propelled it is not. Those last few feet are a choooore.

When Spiro Agnew (Nixon's VP from 68 and 72 election) was forced to resign over issues when he was governor of Maryland, Ford (Minority Leader of the Republicans in the House) was nominated and approved by the Senate to replace him as VP.
When Nixon resigned, Ford became President, and nominated Nelson Rockefeller to be his VP.
Just a side note: read something today that Donald Rumsfeld, who grew up in modest means and got and ROTC scholarship to go to college, loathed Nelson Rockefeller and GHW Bush the most, mostly because of their patrician haughtiness of being born into money...a lot of money.
