Politico: Kamala Harris is a C***

No, not "cop." That's only three letters.

Breaking news, huh?

Yesterday there was a story that suggested that Harris would find a challenger in 2024 by Pete Bootiejudge.

And then suddenly, the knives come out for the first time against Queen Kamala.

This story seems source to Kamala Harris' own staff. My speculation is that they've been longing for the media to report on Kamala Harris' nastiness and chaotic nature for years; it's only now, when the media is discussing a Harris vs. Bootyjudge primary, that they'll actually report a story they've had for more than a year.

The handling of the border visit was the latest chaotic moment for a staff that’s quickly become mired in them. Harris’ team is experiencing low morale, porous lines of communication and diminished trust among aides and senior officials....
In interviews, 22 current and former vice presidential aides, administration officials and associates of Harris and Biden described a tense and at times dour office atmosphere. Aides and allies said Flournoy, in an apparent effort to protect Harris, has instead created an insular environment where ideas are ignored or met with harsh dismissals and decisions are dragged out. Often, they said, she refuses to take responsibility for delicate issues and blames staffers for the negative results that ensue.

This all comes as a complete surprise to me.

"People are thrown under the bus from the very top, there are short fuses and it's an abusive environment," said another person with direct knowledge of how Harris' office is run. "It's not a healthy environment and people often feel mistreated. It's not a place where people feel supported but a place where people feel treated like s---."

It's pronounced enough that members of the president's own team have taken notice and are concerned about the way Harris' staffers are treated.

Okay, Politico did actually ask about this.

The answer from Harris' camp? All the criticism from Harris' staffers of Harris and her chief of staff Tina Fluornoy, who are largely female and "of color," are due to...

Well, I'll let you guess.

Harris and Flournoy's defenders also note that women in power--Black women in particular--are subjected to standards that men often don't have to clear. A tough and demanding office environment may be seen as a virtue for one and a sign of disorder and lack of leadership acumen for another.

Yes men have it easy. I mean, we're never expected to perform and judged on that performance. And of course men, particularly white men, can always play the "You're just being meeeean to me because I'm white and male" card.

I mean, it's just such a cliche how often white men get to play that card to excuse their failures.

This is what I mean when I say "The media has had this story for decades, but refused to report it."

Harris' staff struggles are nothing new. People who have worked for her in the past describe days as "managed chaos." "The boss' expectations won't always be predictable," said one former Harris Senate aide.

Politico attempts to put this in the kindest possible way -- claiming that Harris exudes calm and order when things are going well.

But when things get challenging, her "aides feed her anxieties," and she goes to brittle, bitch pieces.

"When people feed her anxieties, all of that goes away," said another Harris friend, "exacerbating the bad tendencies."

So she's a Stronk Empowered Wahman who can only keep her shit together if you protect her in a reinforced steel Hug Box.

So when she's not tested, she passes the test. When she's actually tested, she fails.

But why are the knives out? Kamala was their chosen one and they're stuck with her. She's the next president. They've painted themselves into a corner with her. She was supposed to be president *now* but she was so dreadfully unlikable - and was flayed so completely by Gabbard during the first debate - that she failed completely. This was their way to end-run their own voters and deal with the Biden problem once the stuffed suit dies or is forced out.

But there's no way out. They could make her resign, but the odds of them getting a VP they actually want in the big chair through confirmation will be difficult. Not impossible, but damned hard - and Biden could shuffle off at any moment. It's odd that they're softening up the field to take her out, and makes me wonder what their contingency plan is. It sure as shit ain't skipping her and going to Pelosi - Pelosi has the same problem Biden does *and* she's in the wrong faction.

Don't assume that there is some master plan. The Dems have factions just like the GOP, and those factions are at war. The hope may be that she can be weakened enough to be controllable once she's in the Oval Office, or that she'll be so wounded that she chooses not to run in 2024.

If Trump runs in 2024, he will win. The key is to make the rubes who 'voted' for Biden in 2020 not feel too bad that they made such a huge mistake. They need to know that 'we told them so' without shouting from the mountaintops that 'we told them so'.

The reason that men are judged - and expect to be judged - on performance and accountability is because that is the standard that they set for themselves. This isn't something about which you can complain when it is your standard and your truth.

The problem is that chauvinistic male dominance infrastructure - generally called "the patriarchy" - imposes these same standards on others who do not pursue them. No I don't think so. I believe that the lack of a VP in the 19th century was partly from there not being a mechanism to replace them. That changed with the 25th amendment. So only way you get president pelosi is if Harris goes and then Biden goes before a new VP is chosen

That is true. But it does lead to you having fewer and fewer friends cause you don't have time for them and you get resentful because they're no help and they sense that so they start staying away.

And then you find you HAVE to do everything by yourself and if you haven't found a partner of some sort by now, you probably won't find one cause I've found the best places to look for women you can get along with is those around your friends.

And after a few years (esp. If you have to move once or twice) you find you have no friends just people you wave to and your life is empty.

Not to be too grim about this, but the loss of one elderly Democratic senator (Kohl, Sanders, Feinstein, etc.) means they lose the majority until that seat is filled again. When Ted Kennedy died and Scott Brown replaced him, Obama lost his filibuster-proof majority. Something similar is not out of the question. It could happen at any time. Of course then that would make Murkowski the kingmaker, which would be awkward, but I think even PDT would agree to let bygones be bygones if she does the right thing when it matters.

Don't be so sure. With Harris as Pres the VP slot would be empty, meaning that the Senate as a whole is stuck 50/50. That gives McConnell and the GOP a lot of power, and if they can keep it empty through next year then they can hope to win an outright majority, which would give them a lot of leverage to demand someone of their choosing. And I wouldn't put it past him to want to screw over two former Senators whom he's had to deal with for years.

I've been linking to "The Drug that Cracked COVID" for a while now, and have linked to the Eastern Virginia Medical School's dot edu website showing their ivermectin prophylactic protocol so that people can talk to the doctors more easily without saying "a guy named Masturbating Pete told me that this anti-tapeworm pill..."

But what I meant was how disturbing it is that doctors/CDC/etc have actively worked to get people to NOT take arguably the safest medication ever invented.

Uh, the machines were using the HOME version, of Windows... no Domain involved. Which means all the Admin accounts were synced...

AND it means that local users, had access to ADMIN Accounts. They were also all connected via Wi Fi cards, which were turned on by default.

The Dominion software was also updated the NIGHT BEFORE THE ELECTION.

Yeah, pretty sure they were admin keys with all the privileges to do things even a proper admin shouldn't be able to do. But there is a enough evidence to recommend these vax's in kids and pregnant women? I know that wasn't his call, but its an odd "standard" where we rush in with a "vaccine" that really isn't, but don't want to recommend a potential antiviral treatment that has been safely used like a billion times already. There difference between those two positions is simply, and obviously, billions of dollars.

Even though there are clinical trials showing it's a preventative and treatment. I take the horse stuff about once a week and it seems to help clear my sinuses too. Don't just get off FB; you have to understand that the FB constellation includes HUNDREDS of other common apps that have business partnerships with FB. For all intents and purposes, they're one octopus - anything the partner apps know or gather, gets forwarded to FB.

You have to be EXTREMELY cautious about what apps you install. Don't just slap random shit on your phone because you want to be able to turn on your toaster remotely. If you don't need it and don't have a specific reason to trust the developer, don't fucking install it.

Millenials and Zoomers are every bit as bad as Boomers on this topic. And for fuck's sake, get a privacy-centric browser like Brave and a paid VPN.
