The Morning Report - 6/7/21

XiKong.jpg

Good morning kids. Monday and first up is Joe Manchin's coming out yesterday and declaring his opposition to both nuking the filibuster and this H.R. 1 "For the People" Act that would effectively let Democrats rig our elections forever. At best, Joe Manchin's ethics are situational. Remember that SOTU speech a few years back when he rose to applaud Trump, then quickly sat down on his hands after catching a death-stare from Pelosi or Schumer or some other Commie toilet attendant. Way to be strong and independent, Joe. I get it that he's a Democrat from a red state, which in and of itself makes no sense at all especially with the changes to our culture and politics over the past 10-20 years. But something else is afoot that I don't quite understand. And that goes for the senator from Kinky Boots, Kyrsten Sinema, who seems to be of the same mindset as Manchin.

Meh, maybe it's just kabuki-bukkake theater; they'll take a principled stand while Pee Air Defecto and the Alaskan Snow Blower do the cross-the-aisle reach-around and take their place to pass the bills. Still, attempting to throw a pretty big monkey wrench into the dreams and schemes of the Kalorama Klown Konsortium could put a figurative target (and even a literal one, all things considered) on Manchin's and Sinema's heads courtesy of the Maoists now seizing control of the party. Then again, AZ and WV are not as far-left perhaps as NY and CA. It's why Cuck Schemer Schumer nodded along with Titty Caca AOC as she declared fewer prisons would decrease crime. As one commenter noted late Friday morning, by that logic, we should build fewer hospitals and maybe kill off all the doctors in order to cure all disease. Winning.

Anyway, there are a couple of other things that jumped out at me as I was wading through the sewage yesterday and this morning. While the Democrat Propaganda Complex attempts to both protect the image of Dr. Sigmoid Fraud, aka Anthony Fauci and thereby protect whatever credibility it has with the low-information crowd, and at the same time let him exit the scene quietly, the implications of the Chinese Coronavirus and its origins specifically from that Wuhan biological research lab are looming dangerously large.

In an exclusive story at RedState, Jen Van Laar reports that sources inside the intelligence community say a high-ranking defector from China has been working for months with the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). According to Van Laar's confidential sources, that high-ranking defector claims to have knowledge of special weapons programs in China -- that include bioweapons...

..."In DIA's assessment, the information provided by the defector is legitimate," wrote Van Laar. "Sources say the level of confidence in the defector's information is what has led to a sudden crisis of confidence in Dr. Anthony Fauci, adding that U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) personnel detailed to DIA have corroborated very technical details of information provided by the defector."

All of this raises many questions. Why, "suddenly," did the U.S. legacy media en masse turn-tail and start pointing fingers at China and doubting Fauci? Why did left-wing outlets like the Washington Post and BuzzFeed "suddenly" decide it was the right time to drop Fauci's emails -- just days after the lab-leak story was "suddenly" no longer verboten on social media? Fauci's emails revealed what we've been reporting here at PJ Media for months (mostly behind the paywall for our VIP subscribers to avoid the Gestapo social-media censors): that Fauci was working with a Chinese scientist from the Wuhan lab; that he asked Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg to help with COVID messaging; and that he signed off on funding for dangerous gain-of-function research in Wuhan...

...If any of this turns out to be true -- particularly the suggestion that China may have intentionally unleashed the most deadly bioweapon in world history -- you might want to begin thinking about where you're going to spend the U.S.-Sino War. If, as Housley claims, the FBI, CIA, and other federal agencies are swarming with Chinese spies, it would constitute the biggest national security failure in U.S. history -- and the most deadly.

The implications are terrifying.

Forget "the FBI, CIA, and other federal agencies are swarming with Chinese spies" as "the biggest national security failure in U.S. history." That distinction belongs to the individual currently and fraudulently occupying the Oval Office, Joe Biden. You can throw in for sure Clinton and probably Obama. The Bushies giving the Mongoloids most favored nation trading status and a seat at the WTO surely did not help matters either. It is now readily apparent to those who have removed the face diaper from their eyes that not only did this virus originate in China, as was known on day 1, but that it did not occur naturally in some medieval wet market trading in pangolins, lemurs, dogs and Lord knows what else, but was intentionally manufactured in a biological research laboratory in Wuhan. And the nature of that laboratory was and is weapons research.

Given all of that, the big question is was this virus accidentally released or was it released on purpose? And if the latter, why? By the fall of 2019 when news of a pandemic in China started making the news, President-in-Exile Trump despite all the slings and arrows of obstruction and sabotage thrown at him had achieved the greatest economic boom in American history, had put a serious dent in the Chi-Com economy vis a vis ending suicidal trade and tariff regimes and was effectively confronting them on their imperialist designs on the South China Seas and elsewhere. Meanwhile, Hong Kong and other provinces less well-covered in the media were seriously defying Peking, and the Chinese economy itself had serious problems. Meanwhile the Democrat Party, the PRC's political soul-mates, was parading around an anti-American freak show of 20 candidates vying to see who would draw the short straw to get his/her/xer ass kicked in a landslide by Trump, who looked unstoppable especially after the New Year's present of taking out Iran's #1 terrorist mastermind. And then, as if by magic...

In purely biological terms, the virus itself is marginally more deadly than common flu especially in people most vulnerable to viral infections of the lungs. But, there were and are numerous therapeutic treatments available to alleviate symptoms obviating the need for a vaccine. Yet it was the fear of this that was weaponized by the Left, here and abroad, to grind to a halt the great reversal that Globalism had suffered because of Trump and those who believe in national sovereignty and independence elsewhere.

Cui bono? If this was deliberate, it was an act of war. The problem here, as this article illustrates is that those who are supposed to be in charge of our defense have acted and are acting in league with the aggressor nation that perpetrated this attack. You can go off on all sorts of tangents from here most notably the fate of Taiwan as well as the ramping up of repression of political opposition here at home. This is why Fauci has got to have his reputation preserved while at the same time having him depart the scene as quickly and quietly as possible, if possible. "I'm not saying it's aliens, but" don't be surprised to see more stories about alien encounters or, more likely, yet another shooting of an innocent black youth at the hands of white supremacist cops. Even better, another staged Reichstag Fire to distract the masses. Oh look: Trump has dementia because Tom Friedman claims he wore his pants backwards!!!

And that brings me to something I had wanted to not let slip by. Yesterday was the 77th anniversary of the D-Day landings, the start of "the great crusade" to liberate Europe from Nazi tyranny. And yet...

While Hitler lost, America didn't necessarily win. Socialism survived in the Soviet Union, China, Latin America, Africa, and Europe (in a soft form), and it is aggressively alive on American college campuses. Because the battle rages un, let us remember what it was that our Greatest Generation fought and died for, from the deserts of North Africa and the beaches of Normandy to the gates of Berlin:

The freedom of Jews to live their lives in peace without fear of persecution or violence in the streets.

The freedom from violence by Brownshirts who would terrorize and beat our citizens into submission.

Peace and freedom from the pillaging and blitzkrieg of our great American cities by evil forces...

...A government that does not politically weaponize its many institutions against We The People.

A government that does not seek to disarm its law-abiding citizens and make fighting tyranny infeasible.

A government that does not seek to turn our Armed Forces into a politicized paramilitary wing.

In 1945, we Americans believed that we had established those principles. Now, in 2021, we must ask ourselves, how has all that been working out so far? It was a nice run, anyway. Who saves us from tyranny?

After Veep Throat Harris tweeted "enjoy the long weekend!" without thinking the cost in lives, blood and treasure and the significance of that "long weekend," Joe Biden said nothing - not one fucking word - about the significance of what happened on June 6th 77 years ago.

What did Biden do? Make a speech about Tulsa and spit out bile about how racist and evil America is. I can't even...

20 "Unless this menace somehow passes quickly, this new reality is a game-changer for America's Jews."
*****

We have to some extent done this to ourselves. In my neck of the woods, members of my former synagogue were falling over each other trying to be the loudest to declare that Trump was evil for not allowing people from hostile muslim nations to move here. The logic was if we stop Iranians or Somalis from immigrating, Jews will be the next victims and be forced out. They decried the police even as the patrol cars sat outside protecting them (from blonds?) on the holidays. It's going to take more than a "menace passing quickly" to turn this around.
I passed Rabbi Spero's article about the lunacy coming out of rabbinical schools to many people, since you linked it. The response has been tepid to frigid. The BLM crap is pretty fixed in many lib minds, but this is the menace that needs to pass.
Yesterday I mentioned "Hebrews to Negroes" a book insisting that blacks are the chosen people (I think we choose and are not chosen). It had over 1K reviews, so I suspect this theory is gaining strength. All connected

22 I'ma go out on a limb here and speculate:

DoD in conjunction with NIH under Fauci initially teamed together to use gain of function research to 'explore the development of vaccinations' that would mitigate biowarfare agents.

Sometime after that, funding was suspended or terminated. Fauci did what every institution does and found a way to use 'contractors' to subvert that restriction and funneled monies to his buddy who in turn funneled that money to the Wuhan lab.

Simultaneously, China did what China does and kicked back some of that cash to grease the skids of the body politic. Lots of very high level people would need to be bought off including the Sate department, the DoD, congress and the Preznit. Those who could not be bought off were extorted or blackmailed to gain their cooperation.

The level of effort to conduct the research was not on par with the risk. The virus infected someone or several someones in the facility. The cat is out of the bag at this point, so China says fuck it, let's go with it and exports it across the globe. They have nothing to lose and everything to gain because the US has been working with them all the way and hey, shit happens.

It's obvious that Ryan's using his Faux News support to keep his name front and center despite being a complete failure at anything other than self promotion. What part of his never producing a real budget or cutting spending does he call a "focus on the economy"?

69 The Junta's desire to put multi family housing (let's face it, "the projects") in the 'burbs is, of course, a form of gerrymandering without Congressional approval. Like everything else they do it has the added feature of sticking it to Americans. Years ago, there was some nutbag eco group that didn't want housing to go up in what they deemed pristine areas. so they would burn it down as soon as it was framed. I see some people, highly pissed that there lifelong dream and investment is going down the tubes considering like action.

74 "-- particularly the suggestion that China may have intentionally unleashed the most deadly bioweapon in world history --"

Weapons, even bioweapons, are designed primarily to hurt the enemy. Covid-19 was the exact opposite. This was a virus intended to use on the Chinese (and perhaps the U.S., based on the source of funding) population. No country "weaponizes" a virus that eliminates the oldest, weakest and most spectacularly expensive sector of their adversary's people.

Covid was made to improve the economy of countries in a socially acceptable way. Just like in New York and Michigan, old people dying in nursing homes is OK compared to loading them into box cars and hauling them to gas chambers.

This virus obviously leaked from the lab prior to it being perfected. Both China and the U.S. had reason to spend money working on it.

140 I started observing ages of the few people who are wearing masks. It's almost entirely young people. Either those under 18 who can't get the vaccine (and also wouldn't be all that bothered by covid, natch) or young adults who surely have had the vaccine.

COVID is going to have damaged a large swath of this population, and they're going to be suffering with cognitive dissonance about it for the rest of their lives.

"It was the most dangerous virus ever. It killed 600,000. My best friend's uncle died of it after a lifetime of diabetes brought on by obesity. It was super dangerous, the virus not the obesity which was his choice and beautiful."

172 Here in south MS, masks are becoming rare. However, I have noticed something and I don't think it is confirmation bias --

Blacks are more likely than whites to still be wearing one. Now, my guess for this phenomena is that
A, Blacks here are less likely to have taken the jab(s) due to memories of the Tuskagee Experiment and
B, they think the mask is their last line of defense.

I'm not being critical at all, those are both valid responses.

Someday, I might see some vindication of my observations. Or Not. Oh well.

The pace at which masks are being dropped around here has actually surprised me. The huge signs on doors re: mask requirements have either disappeared or been replaced by tiny ones "requesting" mask usage in certain circumstances. Some are completely gone. The grocery stores have taken down their one-way aisle traffic signs and separate entry and exit doors. Stanley Cup is being played before live crowds, complete with parking lot tailgating parties. I still see some use of masks but mostly by elderly and African American customers. Virtually no one is using them outdoors. All of the local pools are open with no mask requirements.

It appears they started with a known virus that hit the old and weak disproportionately before using "gain of function" techniques to perfect it. In the U.S., studies have estimated that 5% of patients account for half of all health care costs (3.65 trillion/year), while the top 1% of spenders account for over 27% of costs.

If you eliminate a good portion of that 5%, or even just the top 1%, it solves all your budget problems. This could pay for the universal health care that Obama was looking for. So, I can envision members of the deep state enthusiastically approving the funding for this.

I think Hoyt's a fraud too, based on direct experience. And Correia by extension. I was a fan, but I think I wrongly assumed that because our enemies attacked them they were our people. That's not always true. I know they are both respected here, and I do hope I am wrong about them. But it's fitting a pattern I've seen before.

Good friend of mine (and love of my life) recently got her world set on fire, turns out her husband had been cheating, wanting a divorce after using up 20 years of her life. He has a boat, and all their friends would routinely go fishing with him (mostly the other husbands and only a few other wife). And he brought the mistress along every time. So... her female friends knew what was happening, for at least 2 years, and never said a damn thing.

266 I am not a China triumphalist. It has problems almost as bad as the United States, some perhaps worse. Both are deeply troubled nations although the rot within this country is more visible.

That written...

China is the most serious threat the American people have ever faced. The reason? It's Fifth Column controls the Imperial City. Its most dutiful whores, Biden and McConnell, are the ostensible leadership of the nation. The corporate police state that has seized power is subservient to the PRC.

I don't know whether Gen. Flynn was joking or not, but a military coup by the loyal remains of that decayed institution may be necessary to prevent mass murder. Whether such a horribly flawed, castrated military can pull it off is another question.

And, yes, the virus was intentionally released. That has been as equally obvious as its laboratory origins for a long time. The only question that remains unclear is whether the American intelligence services helped its spread. Again, the most likely answer is "yes" based on what we have seen.

If the Left can impose the fiction of the "1619 Project," as the founding date of the American experience, then I suggest that a "1865 Project" would be far more appropriate and accurate. Like it or not, the Civil War is the central event in our historical and cultural journey, and set the stage for modern America. The Income Tax, mass conscription, the end of chattel slavery, the entrenchment of the two party system. There's a very good case for the idea that the American that we live in started in 1865, and the Abolitionist Movement is front and center.

Probably true of the big Illinois cities, but not so much in the countryside. It's a beautiful, rich land, in spite of Chicago.

And, after recently visiting a rapidly growing red state (the traffic, the sheer number of people, the cost), I am good with living in an area with a small population. I was happy to get home to Illinois.

NB: where we are, taxes are low, crime nil (countryside) and housing/COL pretty cheap.

Hey, if that's sufficent for you, that's great.

However, we have chosen to live near family so that we can have regular in-person interactions, such as a weekly 'Nana Fun Day' where my mom would pick up my son from school on Monday's and they'd spend the afternoon together, going on adventures, etc.. Also makes it easier to spend holidays and special days together with parents, siblings, other nearby family. I chose to move back to my home state after living across the country from them for 15+ years.

The other reason is: aging parents. I drove mom to the hospital when my dad had his most recent heart attack (he was fine). They were also a huge support when hubby went through cancer treatments.

That's why one my choose to be near family despite the location being blue state/less than ideal.

If Bezos is having personal problems, I doubt his ex-wife is the one causing them. More likely his current GF, the over-stretched, gold-digging, much-married 'ho he dumped his loyal and decent wife for.

80% off is nice, but there is a 180% chance that the wife would shoot me if I even suggested that. We actual have pretty nice furniture that just needs reupholstering in a new color scheme, but that's crazy expensive too. One wing back chair takes between 5 and 7 yards of fabric, costing about $150 - $300/yard. Then labor is equal to the fabric cost. Not cheap for the same chair in a different color.

394 Why, "suddenly," did the U.S. legacy media en masse turn tail and start pointing fingers at China and doubting Fauci?
I think they are trying to get ahead of the story so they can soon call it old news and say we all need to "move on".

This is dangerous ground though as the response of a non-Clown world would be at least a complete, world wide embargo of China, if not war.

395 We know there was an intentional SPREAD by China, after the initial release.

And they also, intentionally, withheld info on the nature of the virus from our scientists that delayed research and treatment.

And our own "scientists" /CDC intentionally refused to investigate or validate treatments with strong anecdotal evidence of benefit and hugely-proven safety.

There is so much blood on so many hands that, once again, we are in "scandal overload." So many wrongs of so many that it's difficult to even frame the events for the MSM-consuming, no-attention-span-iPhone-addicted sheeple.

If we dig into the consent issue per the Declaration of Independence....and the failure to bring forth an opt out clause for those that do not consent....this government has never, not been tyrannical.

JJ... I'd love it if you or anyone else would address that.

The so called native Americans certainly didn't consent.

If the root is decayed....so is the tree.

It's all garbage and legalese double speak. Calling things by their proper names.
