Application of the law as you are implying it should work is also racist. "One size fits all" legal systems do nothing but serve the interests of the dominant majority, and acts as an oppressive force on those outside that majority.

The notion of justice as a blindfolded woman holding scales is profoundly and deeply problematic because such notions serve to perpetuate the debunked notion of objective standards for human behavior.

This attack on Ms. Cullors is exactly that: an attack. She has been forced out for daring to work against the oppressive structure that colonizes and occupies black and brown bodies throughout our structurally racist sociolegal complex.

Peter Schweitzer's book "Culture of Corruption" outlined other creative ways that libs siphon money from nonprofit operations. Biden's brother, for instance, set up a charter school (as well as setting up the Charter School Alliance), raising a bunch of money for it's operation. He happened to own the real estate that the school was based out of, and proceeded to charge exorbitant rents from them to line his pockets.

If Frank Biden is doing it, I can only guess how many other charter schools are doing the same thing.

There's very little difference, and there hasn't been for a long time. Fox is two organizations: news and commentary. The news side of the house has been center-left or left for a long time now. The commentary division has been conservative, but that is waning now with a couple of exceptions like Carlson.

But none of that matters. Fox is a symbol. They could air hagiographies of Karl Marx around the clock and they'd still be "right wing" in the narrative. The narrative needs its symbols. Reality doesn't enter into the equation.

Tbh. Something has happened at FNC. I think whoever they hired to change things is actually doing an impressive job with the new hires, new shows and the old shows. Of course there is the exception of Cavuto and Chris Wallace, but a majority of the shows are moving right

TV preacher Oral Roberts was the pioneer in this area. He used to send out free Bibles and tons of other books to anyone who wrote in and asked. No scam there, they really were free, and they were happy to send them to you (they'd hit you up for donations forever afterward, of course). Then he'd cry the blues about how many bazillions of dollars a year it cost to print and mail all that stuff. Again, no scam. He had receipts for every penny.

What he *didn't* mention was that the printing company that printed all this stuff, an extremely for-profit business, was owned by... Oral Roberts (I think it might have actually been in the name of family members, same scam that Bernie Sanders has been running).
