Despite Claims by the Democrats and the Media (But I Repeat Myself), Iran's Foreign Minister Clarifies: I Only Learned of Israel's Covert Attacks on Our Operatives in Syria from John Kerry

The word went out from the Democrat High Command, by which I mean the media, that no, the Iranian Foreign Minister already had knowledge of Israel's actions from the media, and from Israel itself.

NeverTrumpers like AllahPundit immediately amplified this narrative, because all NeverTrumpers ever do is amplify what they see their leftwing heroes saying on Twitter.

But a key source -- the foreign minister himself -- says this spin is untrue.

He says he got this information from John Kerry.

Leaked audiotape of Iranian foreign minister Javad Zarif indicates he had no knowledge of covert Israeli military strikes before former secretary of state John Kerry provided him with the information, new details that contradict the State Department's recent defense of Kerry.

These details are likely to further fuel calls from leading Republicans for Kerry's firing or resignation. The New York Times reported that Zarif said on the tape that Kerry told him Israel launched 200 airstrikes against Iranian interests in Syria. The Times did not provide further details on that issue. But an independent translation of the audiotape commissioned by the Washington Free Beacon shows that Zarif went on to clarify that he had no prior knowledge of these Israeli strikes before Kerry told him.

"Kerry told me that Israel had launched 200 airstrikes against you [Iran]," said Zarif. "You didn't know?" asked his interviewer. "No, no," he replied.

These new details contradict top State Department officials, who have repeatedly said the information was already in the public domain and not classified.

Quick, Democrats, pump out a new cover story so that NeverTrump has something to write about today.

So the Democrat/Media stance is that treason is okay if the treasonous actions did not lead to our enemies getting new intel.

Does not matter if Iran knew this information already. John Kerry assumed they did not have the information already and committed treason in giving them the intel.

There is a very clear answer to this question in the context of actual reality, of course, but I ask it even knowing that answer because it's astounding that no one in the press - not even in the parts of the press that are ostensibly opposed to the administration - is asking it.

Why does a special envoy for climate have access to this kind of intelligence in the first place? In what manner is his mission of envoying for climate enabled by that access?

Bigwigs get to keep their security credentials supposedly so that they can be asked for advice in the future without having to issue them a new one.

One would think you could instead have a system of emergency or temporary issue(technically clearances in general are temporary with set expiration dates) clearances.

109 Even apart from the latest revelations (that are doubtless crimes under a number of national security laws) I'm reminded of how Sally Yates used the pretext of "possible Logan Act violations" to start the whole, illegal sh*tshow investigation of INCOMING National Security Advisor Gen Flynn (for doing his job and establishing a relationship with foreign adversaries).

Meanwhile back at the ranch Kerry quite publicaly maintained a steady stream of meetings with foreign heads of state, including if not especially Iran, to ACTIVELY undermine actual US foreign policy.

The Logan Act is probably unconstitutional. But to the extent it has a letter and spirit it was grossly violated by Kerry.

173 Not entirely off-topic, because it's a display of (French) patriotism. But, speaking of "leaks", does anyone have an actual copy of, and hence, a translation of the letter that the French Generals wrote to Mrs. Robinson's young lover?

'Cause I'd love to see an English version of it, with minor edits for Americanism, be circulated throughout our Officers' Corps. A litmus test, if you will. A first-pass-cut, as to which of the Brass might yet be American, vs. those of the Obama era, soaking in fail. I really want to see a sortation along those lines, and make the results of such a sifting be a VERY public, and widely published list. Make America Great Again? Yep, but we're gonna have to clean out the Obama-ites, just as Obummer purged what Patriots he could in his eight years.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - As the mostly local crowd at Churchill Downs watched Race 4 this Thursday, one horse with a local connection caught the attention of bettors and onlookers.

The favorite heading into the claiming race for three-year-old fillies this afternoon, Breonna, won the fourth race of the day.

The filly's owner is JS Stables, LLC, a racing stable owned and operated by Janelle and Sam Aguiar.

Sam Aguiar, best known as the founding attorney at Sam Aguiar Injury Lawyers, is one of the attorneys representing the family of Breonna Taylor. The Race 4 winner, Breonna, was named after the Louisville native shot by LMPD officers during a botched raid at her apartment in March 2020.

Yes, the part about anti-racism being the fuel to stoke the fire against France's own population...that part of the playbook is the same.

IIRC the Day of the Jackal was based on a true story. The generals wanted to take out DeGaulle for abandoning Algeria.

259 > All this talk about primary challenges? What? We don't do voting anymore in this country.

Doesn't matter if it's a real primary or not.

I expect things will be bad enough that they'll want to change the frontwoman regardless.

Especially since no one really likes Commie-Lay anyway. Not even her fellow Democrats.

Her usefulness came to an end when she became too unattractive to give beejers.

262 I've found a site which touts its documentation for a religious exemption from the COVID vaccine. I haven't downloaded anything, but it looks interesting, partly because the documentation has an impressive appearance to flabbergast the Karens, and also because it does not *require* you to pay anything: https://tinyurl.com/y7xadrtw

This is the Marcionite Christian Church. Are they a legitimate church? I don't mean their doctrine. From my point of view, if they really exist and my "religious exemption" can be verified by a bureaucrat, that's good enough. Of course I don't want them showing up at my door or sending me rafts of emails either. Any experience?

There's a clip of Kerry's lawyer recalling the night of the election. Kerry receiving a phone call saying they were *optically* counting in some important state.

Kerry looks up and says, 'it's over'.

They, both parties, knew the machines were rigged back then.

266 I had an idea for a story.

A group of intellectuals came together to bring about Utopia. Hey collected at the stop of Mount Everest and managed to flood the world so that Everest is the only land mass above water.

As this happened, a boat managed to survive the incredible rise in the oceans, and the survivors follow the lone radio beacon in range, taking them to Mount Everest. It's been weeks since the planned flooding, and when the survivors reach Everest they find that there's been a bloodbath among the intellectuals, having all turned on each other.

272 This happened while Trump was president, right?

There was a shadow government operating separate from the official federal government that allegedly Trump and his cabinet led.

To repeat the obvious: It doesn't matter who wins on election day if a large portion of the federal government operates on its own, and in Trump's case, at war with the elected POTUS and his Senate-approved Cabinet.

Stolen election? No, captive government. The coup already happened, it's all theater at this point.
