Inevitable – NOT Supporting National Anthem Protests Is Now A Racist & Cancellable Offense

Was there anything more inevitable than National Anthem protests evolving into a mandatory ritual, and that those who refuse to kneel in solidarity with their America-hating brethren would become the targets of punishment and angry mobs.

To be fair, not every college athlete taking a knee in protest hates the flag and National Anthem like the protest ringleaders do. When an entire team takes a knee, you can be sure that there are some who fear the doxing, punishment, and perhaps physical violence, that would befall them for not taking a knee. Many are simply too terrified to take a brave, patriotic stance.

But some aren’t.

Virginia Tech Soccer Player Files Lawsuit Against Coach, Claims She was Targeted For Not Kneeling

Kiersten Hening states in her suit that at a September 12 game against Virginia, (Coach) Adair made her the subject of a tirade because she wouldn’t take a knee with the rest of the starters before the match. The “campaign of abuse,” as Hening calls it in court documents, continued until she ultimately left the program on September 20.

At East Tennessee State University, the entire men’s basketball team made a habit of kneeling in protest during the National Anthem at away games. Coach Jason Shay supported the team in their Anthem protests. Per one ESPN report, the coaching staff joined in taking a knee during the Anthem at a game in Chattanooga. When word got back to Johnson City that the ETSU coach and his players were having anti-patriotic tantrums during road games, it didn’t set too well back home.

One of the persons who didn’t appreciate it was Joe Trujillo, the owner of Johnson City Honda. His dealership had been providing free loaner cars to Coach Shay and his staff. Had been. Past tense. Mr. Trujillo took the cars back.

From ESPN (no link, because ESPN is agitating for Honda Motor Company to take action against Trujillo):

"I just don't agree with the platform of kneeling during the anthem. Is there injustice? Absolutely there is. If they want to take a knee before or after, I'm the first one there," Trujillo told WCYB-TV. "My dad served 30 years in the United States Army. We're a military family. The flag ... means a lot to me."

So, if a coach making several hundred thousand dollars per year can advocate for on-court, in-uniform political protests, then certainly an auto dealer can make his own opinion known by not providing that highly-compensated coach with a free ride. Right? Nope. The media and the left-wing mob are coming after Mr. Trujillo.

“Once the information came out about Joe Trujillo pulling the loaner cars from Coach Shay and the assistant coaches as punishment because of their support and their actions of kneeling with the team that was just a gut punch,” said Katelyn Yarbrough, chairperson for the New Generation Freedom Fighters. “It’s incredibly demeaning and condescending and it’s just another symptom of the systemic racism that’s here in our community.”

Of course. It is “systematic racism” for a private citizen to not provide a free car to a coach making $300,00 per year – a coach who cheers his players on as they figuratively spit on the flag and shoot their fingers at Tennessee taxpayers.

Jason Shay has resigned. At least six players are seeking to transfer to another university. They won’t be missed in Tennessee.

Might be completely wrong, but I get the impression basketball and football have more Woke players because colleges are the main feeders for the big leagues and 1) college players are pampered and 2) they live in a toxic environment.

Will they have the balls to stand down, when ordered to shoot American citizens for what ever the current CCP-loving leadership orders them to do so? After the Jan 6 nonsense and fallout, it is going to happen IMO. Just a matter of when, and specific circumstance. But much less than the current Antifa riots that have killed many and burned down parts of dozens of cities.

Until Emperor Jay went all CCP, I visited the Marco Polo tavern in south Seattle every Monday for their half-priced wings and Manny's for $3. OMFG they were consistently good. I went back once after Emperor lifted the ban for in-house seating (albeit at 25%), and everything was different. Not gonna lie, I was at Home Depot this afternoon (along with the entire population of Tennessee) and when it came time to choose to check out I noticed that one of the open lines was staffed by a cute young lady and diverted from my original course toward the self checkout area.

On a more serious note, the tech base not accounting for lostech will probably stabilize at 1950s level for a while. There will be cars and electricity, albeit less ubiquitous, but probably no internet. Software for the sake of software will be a thing of the past, but software for the sake of keeping the trains running will be a thing.

289 Was texting with newly found daughter that I had adopted years ago. We discovered we were both water babies. I was on swim team for years, she did synchronized swimming. I watched and we texted during the events. That was a few years before she passed.
