Instead of a throwaway, fun game I would occasionally watch, among other things Mr. Goddell decided one year it would be cool to turn it into a middle school gym game where two people pick the teams and pit them against each other. What a train wreck. I stayed far away from that.

Even before things went truly awful, Mr. Goddell was proving to be a bad commissioner. I miss Paul Tagliabue and above all Pete Rozelle.

Krogers here in Kentucky has started to scan driver's licenses too, although it's inconsistent. Years ago one of the Krogers, in a different county here had a "cheat sheet" of DL numbers on some sort of watch list. They would take my license and flip through the pages to see if I "was on the list." I finally asked the store manager what all that was about and he said the list was provided by the country sheriff and included people who were prohibited from buying booze (beer in this case.)

Mrs VIA made a purchase the other day for $7.03.

Cashier began to panic, but Mrs VIA calmly told her that the change would be $13.00 even.

But noooooooo, the girl could not accept that answer.
After three tries with an honest to goodness calculator, each time coming up with the answer of $13.00, she accepted it, and gave Mrs VIA her correct change.

So that is about 81 million peeps 96% protected. So 3 million may still get V. And that leave about 250 million 0% protection.

So if we did 1 dose then about 160 million 70%. So 48 M may get V. Plus the 170 unvaccinated.

Reminds me of the very antique method of buying liquor still in effect when I moved to Ontario back in the 80s. The government liquor "store" wasn't what you'd recognize as a store - it was just a bare walk-in display room, with the available bottles standing on shelves with a price below them. You'd fill out a little form, requesting the item you wanted, hand it to a clerk at one desk, then he'd pass it to the backroom and a little later someone would come out carrying your booze and you'd meet up at the checkout. Almost like filling a prescription. Ontario Beer Stores still operate on that model.

But, *Biden wouldn't wait and set out on his own, so I kept trying to guide him back to the proper path. Yet, every time there was a clear shot back, he'd take the wrong direction and kept falling into mud or knocking buckets of paint all over himself. He kept getting trapped in corners with that stupid senile look on his face. At one point, he couldn't figure out how to walk around a bucket. All the while, the people we met kept telling *Biden how great he was and telling me what a great job I was doing even as *Biden kept getting covered in more and more mud and paint and shit. all I could think was that this idiot was going to get me court-martialed.

Finally, we met up with the official greeting party in the Commissary, where *Biden had got stuck in a rack of white dresses and was smearing them with mud and shit, etc.

Everyone said what a great job, *Biden was doing with the dresses. And then *Biden came over and told me, what a great job I did, and shook my hand and told me he was going to make me a General.

I played a $5 slot machine by accident once. Waiting for the wife to come out of the bathroom and for whatever reason I thought it was a nickle machine. Put my 20 in played a few times and it started spitting out tickets. Won over $3,000 in five minutes. Never went back.

I was at a Walmart about a year ago, and I wanted some red spray paint. It was locked up in a glass case, so I had to ring a bell and an 'associate' retrieved the can for me. When I asked why I had to go to that trouble, he pointed out the column two feet away. It was 'tagged' with spray painted graffiti of various colors.

That is the only acceptable answer comrade. Look think of it tactically when you are sitting across from an agent who is probably a partisan democrat in the case of the FIB you cannot point out the "real truth" which is he is part of a demonic cabal because it is a "personal attack on his beliefs" and will cause him to pain you as "a problem maker." If you declaim both parties doing it he knows subconsciously his party is a racial cuck conspiracy and you will have made purchase on his psyche with minimal exposure to retribution.

I have to accept what will allow me not to lose my clearance I guess and that is assuming someone does not birddog me for wrongthink.

It sucks, my family is working to be ready so none of this matters to our lives.

Barkley is brave in his position to point out AT ALL that the donks are dirty, pointing out both sides are is the limit that we can go to and not face retribution.

The hilarious thing is the uniparty as we discuss here all the time is laughing their ways to the bank and giggling at the destruction.

I am sorry.

269 Pete Buttplug filled a spot on the checklist making sure all bases were covered. Women of color, VP check, Transgender, Assistant health something, check...on and on it goes. Qualification, not needed.

272 240 Some more info on the video I linked above:

@Geopolitics_Emp

Canadian police tried to shut down a POLISH church on Easter. The Polish have a PROFOUND understanding of totalitarianism (fascism, communism) and sent the police away!

That goober needs to be taught to respect police officers. I am disappointed that the police didn't kill him and everyone in there. They ARE just following orders. Passover? What an excuse. You dumb goober. My brother's a cop. (ding!)

Actually, the moon is a quarter moon today.

Yes, I too possess a calendar and am capable of reading it, but thank you for your concise and helpful correction nonetheless.
My sincere apologies to anyone who was misled by my thoughtless description of how something looked off my deck in the predawn hour.
Posted by: sock_rat_eez at April 04, 2021 07:46 AM

I didn't get that from any calendar. As I was heading out this morning to buy ice, I happened to notice the moon, and it was this beautiful half moon, with the terminator dividing the pale orb precisely in half. I thought to myself that you'd never find a more perfect example of a quarter moon and a moment's further thought, based upon the knowledge that today is Easter and of the knowledge of how the date of Easter is determined, led me to conclude that it was the third quarter moon.

I like looking at the moon and observing its phases and trying to guess whether it's waxing gibbous or waning crescent or which quarter it is. That's my thing.

274 @55 I vaguely saw that video of Pete being a fraud. Big question is did he remove the seat before he mounted the bike?

I denounce myself.

275 I really think these corps are so entrenched they feel they can crap all over us and we will have our little hissy fit and then eventually just shrug and come back to them.

And they are probably right. I think I saw that FoxNews ratings were creeping back up. Hell I still watch Netflix cuz I love movies.

276 Speaking of Fox, I see Chad Pergrum (of FNC) doubled down on twitter, describing Republican Jan 6 rioters as insurrectionists and yet again claiming Brian Sicknik died defending the Capital.

This has gone way too far, I hope, even for Chris Wallace to defend. Who runs the Washington bureau? Is Pergrum his or her idea of an honest journalist? Holy moly.

Someone should tell "Chad" there that if the entire GOP base is responsible for the CHR then we should be attacking the NoI yes?

God I hate these people.

Contrary to the liberals Fox News has never been a conservative news org.

279 Trying to remember when the last time I came into contact with a cop.

I think it was 05 or 06. Had been working in the yard all day. Taking a break on the front porch with a beer. Across street neighbor cat came slinking over looking for a place to shit in the yard. I jumped up and fired up the hose on it. After a bit I went in to start dinner. Turns out the 4 yo kid from across the street saw that and freaked out. The mom called the cops. I was gobsmacked and asked the cop if he didn't have better things to do on cinco de mayo.

Guess I'm unsociable.

280 Happy and blessed Easter, horde. He is risen.

Which is totally acceptable as he was alone in the tomb. However, the maskless social gatherings that occurred henceforth are most troubling.
