Jack Dorsey Says That Censoring News About Hunter Biden Was a "Mistake," and Claims Twitter Isn't Running a "Censoring Department."
He Refuses To Tell Congress Who Made This "Mistake."

Liar.

All they do is censor and deplatform.

Twitter doesn’t have a "censoring department" that blocked The Post from tweeting last fall, CEO Jack Dorsey said Thursday -- but he wouldn’t reveal who was responsible for the blunder.

At a congressional hearing on misinformation and social media, Dorsey said Twitter made a "total mistake" by barring users from sharing The Post's bombshell October report about Hunter Biden’s emails.

Twitter also locked The Post out of its account for more than two weeks over baseless charges that the expose used hacked information -- a decision Dorsey chalked up to a "process error."

"It was literally just a process error. This was not against them in any particular way," Dorsey told the House Energy and Commerce Committee.

Weird how these "mistakes," "blunders," and "process errors" only seem to befall conservatives, and especially before an election, when the rabid left is making more and more demands for censorship.

...

But Dorsey dodged a question from Rep. Steve Scalise about who decided to freeze the 200-year-old newspaper's account.

...

"Their entire account to be blocked for two weeks by a mistake seems like a really big mistake," Scalise, a Louisiana Republican, told Dorsey. "Was anyone held accountable in your censoring department for that mistake?"

"Well, we don’t have a censoring department," the bearded and newly bald-headed tech exec replied.

When Scalise interjected to ask who made the decision "to block their account for two weeks," Dorsey claimed, "We didn’t block their account for two weeks."

"We required them to delete the tweet and then they could tweet it again," he said. "They didn’t take that action, so we corrected it for them."

We didn't "block" them -- we just locked their account until they deleted the tweet that could have hurt Joe Biden. They refused, so we "corrected it" for them -- that is, we deleted their tweet for them.

This is called "censorship." But our Tech Monopolist Masters call it "correcting wrongspeech."

Scalise wanted to know if Dorsey would also lock leftwing accounts tweeting out misinformation, like those false accounts of what he said to the Georgia Secretary of State.

Once again, he refused to answer a legitimate question from Congress:

Dorsey would not answer affirmatively either way: "Our misleading information policies are focused on manipulated media, public health and civic integrity," he said. "That's it."

Meanwhile, Conservative, Inc. cheers the censorship -- because they get to engage in their favorite hobby, tweeting to strangers and keeping their DMs open for possible chances to get young trim or young dick, without being bothered by too many icky conservatives.

11 I think a lot of the left's front people are left out of the loop on purpose. We literally have a shadow government and shadow corporate management that is calling the shots. In Twitter's case, my guess is the VC and hedge fund firms with major investments are collaborating by using Twitter as a sounding board.

Same as I think Soros is the front person for a lot of wealthy oligarchs as a way to translate dollars into political power.

And then the General just shot Gates in the head when Gates started trying to explain why the tech wouldn't work?

For some reason that hilarious scene popped into my head when I read this post.

I think my Grandfather who fought Nazis in NW Europe and my Great Uncle who fought Japs in the Philippines would understand why this thought popped into my head. Of course, they fought to guarantee my right to have my vote count. A right I no longer have.

That's something, BUT note there's more than one way to buy off Conservative, Inc. It seems wrong to lie like that though. However I WILL NOT get a vaccine that has been tested using aborted children's cells.
My Dr. Says none of the vaccines are safe for me to have anyway. Because of the type of cancer and MS that I have. If it is only vaccine theater, well it will help people feel safe if I wave my "card" at them

As some moron said here a year ago: WE are not required to set ourselves on fire to keep YOU warm!

We live in a totalitarian state with arbitrary laws and enforcement. You're thinking needs a serious paradigm shift: your primary objective now is to survive by any means possible, and try to maintain as much human dignity and liberty as you can.

Everybody should have a value hierarchy, and near the top of that should be non-cooperation with anything that diminishes human dignity.

I'm gonna guess that it's like most left-coast tech corporations and the employee breakdown looks something like this:

5% overworked peons that make the actual product, probably mostly H-1Bs.
15% SJW political/social quota hire "engineers" cooking up new ways to screw over users for the lulz. Because they suck at the technical part of their ostensibly technical job, their shit is incredibly buggy and easily hacked.
30% techbro middle-managers who fill out TPS reports and fight each other for internal bragging rights
45% marketing sluts who, by their powers combined, almost manage to match the persuasive power of a single Don Draper
5% head-office staff who hate this shitty existence but put up with it for money

...gee, this is starting to sound an awful lot like that infamous 'inverted pyramid of labor' the old school socialists were on about. Funny, that.

I know a couple of people I would like to say that to, even though I don't generally pull the "cancer card". But just because I don't play that way doesn't mean it isn't more inconvenient for me to have cancer than it is for them to Karen around.

I love the finale of Mad Men, with Don Draper being the one who came up with the "I'd like to teach the world to sing" Coke commercial.

At the end of one his famous "finding himself" junkets, he winds up at some commune sitting around with a bunch of hippies chanting. Then, "Ding....Ding, ding!", the light bulb goes off. And it ends with that Coca-Cola commercial.
