Fauci says "I totally disagree with you," continuing to insist on two contradictory points: 1, we must all get vaccinated but 2, vaccination doesn't do anything and we should continue behaving post-vaccination as we did pre-vaccination.

And after that, an important thread that points out that John Hopkins University did a study in 2019 that found that lockdowns and masking were not effective in limiting the spread of an epidemic.

The cloth masks don't work either. The virus is small enough to go right through the material, or through the big gaps on the side. The whole thing is ridiculous. Half the people I see don't even have the masks over their nose -- just their mouth. Cops are allowed to detain you (not let you leave) for a reasonable amount of time before they arrest you (formally charge you with a crime). So there is a distinction there, legally speaking. And there is caselaw on exactly what "detained" means, IIRC it basically boils down to a "reasonable person would believe they are not free to go about their business" or something like that.

The best move is to say "I don't want to answer any questions" then walk away.

Just got a new Rav a couple of days ago. The actual ignition key retracts, so you have to push a button, like a switchblade, to get the key to pop out. Walking across the parking lot with my wife, I put my mask on, popped the button, pointed it menacingly at my wife, and demanded she turn over her purse.

Approval was slow before thalidomide. FDA touted its efficacy as a watchdog from the thalidomide disaster, but the only reason FDA hadn't approved already was their sloth. By the time they were within an RCH of approving thalidomide, data started coming out from Europe about its teratogenic action and phocomelia.

I became a suspicious character in my neighborhood when I let one of my children go trick or treating in an Indian Costume I won as a child. Full Head dress, buckskins. There has been some back chatter. And a weird millennial showed up at our door talking racist nonsense. A couple of years later son went as Trump and then the year after that my wife made him a fantastic Yosemite Sam Costume. Guns were included.

Additionally, I believe Fauci clings to this argument for masks even for those who've had Covid or are inoculated against it because he knows that once people can throw off the peer pressure shackles keeping us masked up, we will do so. There was no legal remedy for us. We checked.

Thalidomide and benedictin were a reason pharma used to confine early clinical trials to men, which feminists later howled about. The problem was that if a woman were involved in a clinical trial, and later had a child with a problem, she (or more accurately, her ambulance-chasing lawyer, such as John Edwards) could assert that the clinical trial caused the problem, and it was difficult/ impossible to prove it didn't.
