Trump Now Solicits Donations to the "Save America PAC," Which Promises to Support Only Real Conservatives and Oppose Mitch McConnell's RINOs

Good. It's time to defund the Conservative, Inc. Deep State.

For anyone who claims this is a grift -- and what is the GOP, exactly?

What it is an incumbent RINO protection racket, funded by tech monopolists, crazed archlibertarian billionaire ideologues, liberal Rockefeller Republican northeastern business and financial powerhouses, and other enemies of liberty.

Mitch McConnell controls who gets the money.

Mitch McConnell should not get to control who gets the money.

Meanwhile, the Grifting Old Pricks continue using Trump's name to fundraise, to give the money to anti-Trump neocons and assorted other corporate shills.

Trump's lawyers sent the GOP a cease-and-desist letter.

Trump attorneys sent a letter on March 5 requesting that the RNC "immediately cease and desist the unauthorized use of President Donald J. Trump's name, image, and/or likeness in all fundraising, persuasion, and/or issue speech."
It was one of many cease-and-desist demands, which the Trump team sent to GOP committees including the National Republican Senatorial Committee and the National Republican Congressional Committee.

The attorney for the Grifting Oligarchs' Pawns ignored the cease-and-desist and asserted that they would continue to defraud people using the federal mail:

The RNC "has every right to refer to public figures as it engages in core, First Amendment-protected political speech, and it will continue to do so in pursuit of these common goals," chief counsel Justin Riemer wrote in a letter sent Monday afternoon.

Meanwhile, Mitch McConnell was proud to announce he was voting for Merrick Garland -- after doing everything he could to block Trump from firing James Comey and appointing his own favored nominees.

Remember: When the Democrats routinely blocked Trump's nominees from taking office, Trump wanted to appoint them via the recess appointment power.

But Mitch McConnell played a game and pretended the Senate was always in session, declaring "pro forma" (in other words, fake) sessions, even when they were off for two weeks.

He joined with Democrats to block Trump from appointing his people to take over from the Deep State Democrats serving as Acting officials.

But when it comes to a Democrats' radical picks, Mitch McConnell is proud to vote them into office.

This is how the Failure Theater grift works. The GOP pretends to oppose the Democrats, but then permits the Democrats to stop any conservative nominees or laws.

They say, "Gosh darn it! We sure tried our hearts out, but those tricky-dicky Democrats outfoxed us again!"

And then no one in "conservative" media every asks they why they didn't use the power they have to push through nominations or laws, like, for example -- not staging a fake pro-forma Senate session which then permits Trump to recess-appoint a nominee.

Always the same fucking game.

Almost always rigged by Mitch McConnell.

Yes. It's well past time to defund the GOP.

Don't worry. Like National Review, the fundraising shortfall from conservatives will be more than made up for by big new donations from FaceBook and Google.

But it's important to create our own separate funding mechanism, one not controlled by the people controlled by FaceBook and Google.

i suspect, or at least the way i read it, PDJT will be giving the money directly to candidates. not to the GOP. and i figure if they are stupid enough to give THAT money to the gop, they lose trump.

it's a pretty decent plan i think. and it limits the chances of splitting the vote in the general but will PROBABLY force the gop to decide if they want to fight the president or not.

The counterpart of Karl Rove on the left was a guy named Bob Shrum who managed losing candidates in 8 presidential races either at the general or primary level and Bob's day was done with Kerry.

When that didn't happen McConnnell deliberately threw the GA senate races in order to try and tarnish Trump's reputation. None of it has worked. Trump is still popular, and McConnnell isn't. He might be hearing rumblings that a GOP win in 2022 wouldn't result in his ascention back to the Majority Leader position.

The grifter raised the public figure defense but the courts overruled it because he was using it to make money despite his claim that a certain amount would be given to charity.

In addition to the pigs breakfast he faced was the betrayal of Chris Christie who was initially in charge of the transition. Christie shuffled in GOPe approved people and killed the open source attempts at getting new blood into office via the submission of credentials. Even when Christie was fired from the transition and sent to the outer darkness of politics, essentially the only appointees on the shelf that had clearances, etc. ready to go were ex Bushies and Gopesters.

I thoroughly sympathize with people wanting to kill the GOP as a party. My only quibble is the unanswered question of what then as realistically, the GOP has to totally die which will take about 4 years (Whigs), maybe 6 years. Federalist party took 14 years to die.

Unfortunately, ordinary politics breaks down when two or more incompatible groups with incompatible desires try to use the system. The key to a peaceful republic is rotation in power, whenever one or another party decides to make its position permanent through legislation, then the other side has to either submit or fight.

Same thing with the rule of law, you cannot have a rule of law for one group and Calvinball for the other. The truth is broken people purposefully destroyed homogeneous nations and culture throughout the West and that ultimately will destroy the current political systems. A wolf and a sheep cannot legitimately vote on who is to be served for dinner.

The usual depressing response in history is that someone becomes El Supremo leader in order to crush the political disorder. If the nation is homogeneous, you can even have a return to normalcy for a time. If it is made up of dissimilar groups, then you get an emperor of some sort and coercion and force bind the empire together until it cannot anymore.

The issue with a party takeover is that it is dependent on rank and file base voters siding with Trump over time and Trump not making egregious errors on selection of candidates. Martin Van Buren created the modern Dem party by picking the majority faction controlling each state (at the time, there was only one party--the Dems), into the Andy Jackson faction. He gave them patronage and they gave him support. The issue is that the majority faction in a state might not be the one that you want to take office at the national level and are often resistant to reforms. The losing factions in each state then became the nucleus of the Whig party and beat Van Buren himself for reelection in 1840. But, as the Whigs were new, the presidential win ended up meaning nothing as John Tyler became president when Harrison died. Tyler sided with his former Democrats compatriots in office. The Whigs won again in 1848 but the same thing happened with Millard Fillmore becoming president after Taylor died.

The Dems disenfranchised the Republicans and the poor in the South through a variety of means but basically by manipulating the voting system and instituting things like the White primary, cumulative poll taxes, literacy and constitutional tests, moving polling places and precincts with no notice, and so on.

Notably, no second party arose and the real campaign was between factions in the Dem party. Third parties, such as the fusion movement or the Grange populist movements were quelled by election laws making it hard for them to campaign and substituting outright fraud which controlling all the state governments allowed them to do when needed.
