Alleged "Anti-Authoritarians" Call for Violent Fascist Repression of Their Enemies

At Breitbart: WashPost Columnist Max Boot: Blacklist Fox News "as We Do with Foreign Terrorist Groups"

Is National Review, Conservative Inc., and the entire c*ck daisy-chain satisfied that we have now ejected the "authoritarian" and ushered committed "anti-authoritarians" into power?

As Dave Reaboi said, do notice the almost perfect silence about their leftist allies all rushing to demand full-on fascism, after five years of make-pretend Grifter's Tears about Trump's putative "authoritarian" tendencies.

In a Monday op-ed, the Washington Post called on heavyweight telecommunications corporations to shut down conservative cable news outlets including Fox News, One America News, and Newsmax TV, comparing the need to do so with that of shutting down foreign terrorist influencers.

"There is a whole infrastructure of incitement that will remain intact even after Trump leaves office," Boot writes. "Just as we do with foreign terrorist groups, so with domestic terrorists: We need to shut down the influencers who radicalize people and set them on the path toward violence and sedition."
The essay then heaps praise on the recent purging of conservative voices on social media platforms by tech giants, hoping that broadcast media will follow suit.

The author then suggests that if key members of the Murdoch family, which owns News Corp and its sister company Fox Corp., won't comply [with forbidding employees to mention election fraud], then large cable carriers should have Fox News shut down.
"If [they] won’t listen, then large cable companies such as Comcast and Charter Spectrum, which carry Fox News and provide much of its revenue in the form of user fees, need to step in and kick Fox News off," states Boot.
The essay also targeted other conservative outlets.

This week, CNN -- where Boot is a fellow contributor -- began pushing for conservative media outlets such as One America News and Newsmax TV to be blacklisted.

- Newsmax's skyrocketing viewership will not be stopped by cutting them off from cable carriers. You can get it online, and I am sure they're telling their viewers that.
- OAN was the loser of the Fox meltdown, and their audience did not surge like Newsmax's did (it got better, but not like the earthquake-inducing Newsmax pivot). Calling them out will drive more people to find out more, since they're being tarred with the same brush as Newsmax. Those people may well find that OAN has a streaming option, too.

These people are stupid beyond belief and corrupt and evil beyond imagining.

By my reading of this, that isn't exactly what they're doing. What they're doing is worse. They're stripping allocated IP space from Parler's *host* - address space that just so happens to host Parler.

So now the choice is clear to Parler's new host (which is a foreign company domiciled in Russia): drop Parler or move them to another part of your address space.

I'll give you one guess as to what will happen if the host chooses door #2.

And go after the exchanges they will. If they decide to really go after Bitcoin (and I think they will, along with the others - especially now that Yellen will be Treasury Secretary), it won't be too difficult. First, the unleash their hackers to rob the exchanges of Bitcoin. This has happened before and a lot of people have lost a lot of money to digital heists. Once they've softened it up and damaged trust at the remaining exchanges, then they're free to move in with regulatory action to shut down exchanges they can. Then they can take more regulatory action through Revenue (also part of Treasury) to track back transactions on exchanges and mercilessly punish those who sold after the prohibition.

They might not be able to kill off Bitcoin and its analogues worldwide, but they can take the money from Americans (or at least isolate them from their money) and punish them for playing - and probably crash the market in the process.

Stockpiling is a buffer. It lets you absorb the shocks of a shorter-term disruption in supplies. It doesn't mean you can live off them forever.

It's useful for more than just insurrection or government crackdowns. Natural disasters happen too and three weeks of food and water is a nice cushion.

You can't rig elections forever - even in Biden's America. The mistake that the Dems are about to make is fighting the last war. They messed up by not acting when they could have in 2008 and they think that giving everyone what they want now is going to fix that.

The problem is that, like it or not, they sold America a 'moderate' in Biden. With all the debt right now, it won't take much for everything to collapse the deck of cards. Some of that is free or nearly free and takes mostly time - you can get a lot of manuals and literally every USGS map ever published free online and print them.

You can get a shocking amount of food on the cheap if you do your homework on what to get and how to store it. Nobody who pays a cable bill or for a couple of streaming services is unable to afford this.

If, like a lot of people, you don't have room for it - and have a couple of weeks of food on hand - it's time to understand that living refrigerator-to-mouth is a historical anomaly. The majority of the world's population that isn't currently starving puts a lot of effort into laying in food for the future; there is no magical circumstance in North America that makes us immune from the need to do that. Stack it in buckets in the hallway if you have to.

Those who need long term maintenance meds have a tough problem to solve, but OTC stuff is cheap.

These are hedges not just against disaster or conflict, but also against inflation.

Respectfully, I think it is because you have it wrong. It would be inexplicable if that is what this was about, but it isn't. Just like how Joe Biden isn't really the president, he is merely a symbol. This is about people opposing Biden's theft of the office. This is about people who disagree with the imposition of a leftwing globalist system. The people engineering, exploiting, riding along with or controlling that system are playing for keeps. It is right now, or it might not happen again for a century or better.

People questioning the integrity of the election or saying bad things about their titular figurehead are not being pursued because they cast doubt on the election. They're being pursued because they're not on board with the new way of doing things and thus represent an existential threat.

You can eat a lot of ridiculous stuff for long periods when it's the only thing to eat. That part goes just fine.

What comes of it is that you don't want to eat that stuff again for a very long time.

I'm speaking from personal experience here. The "prepper" hand-wringing about unpalatable food is overwrought unless you're deliberately picking foods you can rotate through on a regular basis. If you can afford to toss buckets of Rice N Beans every few years, that's less relevant.
