When I'm enjoying Hawaii for instance, and all these beautiful women walking around that look like they were locked into a dumpster full of sharpies and rolled down a hill. God gives them perfect bodies and skin, and they vandalize it. Let's be real, even the best tattoos look like crap after 20 years. Some folks run out and get a tat for whatever reason, then there's the addicted kind. I even took a picture of a tattoo on some gal's back, I could not for the life of me figure out what it said. The script was so bad and the ink was getting so fuzzy. 2 good examples of why not to get a tat of anything popular culture. My Marine nephew got a tattoo of Ren (of Ren & Stimpy) because he grew up loving it and Ren yelling at everyone all the time. Then, John Krikfalusi in the R&S reboot made Ren & Stimpy gay. Then it turns out, John K. is a pedo and radioactive in the industry. Try telling that to a 6'8" Marine when he's back from deployment (I did, he took it well). Or, when I was at a concert once back in 1989, I saw a gorgeous young thing with a huge KSJO tattoo emblazoned across her shoulder. (this was a weird night when we noticed all the people suddenly getting tats before it was a thing). I said then and there - what happens if this beloved rock radio station ever changes formats? Well, you can look it up. About 20 years ago they sold, and switched to the finest mariachi music this side of Tijuana. But more recently, they changed their nickname to "Bolly". Hahahaha. That's right, if you want to listen to Indian show tunes, 92.3 FM has you covered. I have to wonder if she ever tried changing the tat, or decided to try to ride out the decades in hopes that the grandchildren wouldn't think Grandma was a total putz. Or "I meant to put a big black rectangle on my shoulder". I get tired of looking at things I've done, and other people have done. That's why being able to move something hanging on your wall is so much easier. I always figured if I did get a tattoo, it would be something like a tiny, angry Donald Duck.
