Bottom line is that the youth vote, which is the most heavily Dem vote out there, has not shown up and if they don't show up soon, the Dems will lost WI, MI, and PA badly.
In all polls, even the highly skewed media polls, the youth vote is way down from 2016. They've been avoiding reporting it by sticking with registered voter models.

In my corner of the State, there are still long lines at the early voting station. I've driven by a couple times (and said nope, lines too long, I'll wait) but I and others have observed - line appears to be mostly people in the Retired portion of the electorate, and mostly NOT wearing masks.

When the mask-mandates and lockdowns were in place, people were not getting tested unless they had symptoms. So less testing and less cases recorded.
Remove the lockdowns, BUT... require regular testing in order to go back to school or work or play sports and inevitably someone is going to test positive.
Does that mean the positive tests are bad? No. The vast majority are likely asymptomatic and no big deal. No hospitalization and no death.
Add to that that the recovery rate for the virus is 99.9% for anyone under 60 years old and there's pretty much no risk no matter how many cases exist.
So low testing with mask and lockdown mandates leads to low cases.
Open up and massively increase testing to inevitably find people test positive -- asymptomatic or not -- and you have a massive increase in cases.
And then the Left can point to this and say that the rise in cases means we need another shutdown.
Doesn't matter to them that we have 7 months of data showing this virus is not a problem for anyone under 60 years of age. And barely a problem for anyone 60+.
The Left is deliberately misinterpreting the data and then censoring anyone pointing it out -- i.e. when Twitter banned Dr. Atlas.

Of course, that's why they're doing it- to put people in a state of fear so persistent that they give up.

May not make ALL that much difference, but Kansas City, is weird in that the two cities are not really all that disconnected, it's just that one part is in Missouri (the biggest part, the one with the tall buildings and the sportsball stadiumes), and the other is a dirty shithole, with industrial buildings and poverty.
I'm guessing then, this the Missouri side.
And then one factor is, the city itself is Democrat run (because of course it is), but the state is red. If there is good enough reason to, then hopefully Gov Parsons calls in the National Guard to finally do something about this nonsense for once.

Bottom line is that the youth vote, which is the most heavily Dem vote out there, has not shown up and if they don't show up soon, the Dems will lost WI, MI, and PA badly.
In all polls, even the highly skewed media polls, the youth vote is way down from 2016. They've been avoiding reporting it by sticking with registered voter models.

Its hard to have perspective, but college-age girls now grew up entirely in the "girls can do no wrong and must always be promoted and supported while crushing boys" era. they have been told they are special and heroes and strong and fierce and cannot be questioned all their lives. They know nothing but absolute protection and encouragement, without any failure or correction.
These girls have been raised like Russian princesses. Everyone is supposed to be servile and obedient to them everywhere, all the time. They know nothing else.

In order for Biden to survive through the primary, he turned on every long held belief he said he had, starting with the Hyde Amendment.
I thought it would sink him then, as he tore up every reason to vote for him, but he just outlasted the rest of the Establishment and they coalesced around him to undo Bernie. That's not going to work in the general.

I knew people from KC, and the way they talked about it, I was never impressed. At all.
I like their stadiums. And the Crown Center, or whatever they call it, was supposed to be really nice. And they have a WWI memorial/museum, and the Negro League Hall of Fame (or just museum?).
So the place is not totally worthless. But good golly, does it carry the stank of being a second city with a chip on its shoulder.

There was a case a few years ago where some young woman in college got mad at a couple football star - I forget the exact reason - but she got in his face and start yelling at him in a bar.
He said something back to her and she slapped him, pretty hard for her I'm guessing.
He pulled back and gave her a right cross to the face. Just one punch. She fell to the ground and was out....and then in for 4 months of re-hab.
The football player went to jail for assault IIRC. But the point here is the different in ability to cause bodily harm on her part vs his.

Much more important was that a group which does NOT always reliably vote turned out bigtime to save Obama's ass - blacks. They famously did not turn out in big numbers to vote for Hill and Barris and Barnes doubt they will for Biden.
Another group which does not reliably turn out to vote is blue collar men. They once turned out in huge numbers for Democrats, but have underperformed for decades for the simple reason that no candidates represented their interests. In 2016, many of them voted for Trump, the first candidate in a long time who acted like he gave a shit about them. Barris and Barnes thinks they'll turn out in larger numbers this year - and they are a notoriously tough bunch to poll.
The Trump campaign strategy is not to try to turn those groups afflicted with TDS, but to get people who have never voted to turn out for Trump. Judging by voter registration numbers, that strategy might be genius.

The only way forward, and it it going to take way longer than 2 weeks, is to educate her on the actual facts of climate science. There are many good resources on it. But she is unlikely to listen, since she is coming from a religious conviction, not from a logical one. And it would put a lot of pressure on your marriage.

First everyone was worried about Ohio and Iowa, but then those moved safely into Trump's column.
Then the worry shifted to Florida and North Carolina, and while those are tight, the momentum and tilt favors trump.
Next was the panic over Michigan and Pennsylvania, and now it looks like those are breaking Trump's way.
Finally, there was a belief that Minnesota and Wisconsin might not come through, but the tide is turning there from people on the ground reporting enthusiasm through the roof and a ton of unseen Trump voters just waiting to cast their ballot.
And that's what election day will look like. Ohio and Iowa will be called soon after polls close, then Florida and NC will be called, then Michigan and Pennsylvania with the election all but certain after that.

By the time Biden has no choice but to concede, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada will all go Trump. Shoot, he might even steal Colorado. Either way, before the polls close out west, Trump will have won.

NY too. I also have a few neighbors who told me they are not voting. Some of the really pissed off ones told me they are voting for Trump. That includes my one neighbor who told me that Cuomo killed his mom, who died in a nursing home of COVID. I don't think people who actually lost a loved one are buying Cuomo's bullshit. Imagine that.

On the plus side, federal judges have decided that mail in voting cannot be extended past Election Day. That is a huge win for the GOP in WI, MI and OH. PA is the state I'm worried about, because Biden has to take it.

This is why I fully understand Trump not releasing his taxes. 95% of the public wouldn't understand complicated tax law that includes income from foreign sources and how it might affect US taxes and would have zero interest in actually learning.
Trump has been audited on a regular basis for decades. He's never been in trouble for his taxes but it won't stop haters from hating.

The missus and I routinely vote conservative. We do not agree on everything, but we both were never going to vote for Shrillary, nor will we be voting for Joe.
Two areas where we disagree are Planned Parenthood (she's for it; I'm again it), which would lead to a major blow up between us if we decided to pursue the matter further, and the use of WuFlu masks and lockdowns (she's for 'em; I'm agin 'em). That last subject and my stance seems to deeply puzzle her, but perhaps that's because I say, time and again, "It's a contagion and part of nature and it'll have to run its course."
With all that, however, she and I are the only reliable conservative voices in her immediate family, with perhaps her youngest brother joining in. My own family, scattered from here to Dubuque, is reliably conservative, down to through Boomer generation. Matters get sporty with the younger 'uns, however -- many have imbibed the Flavor-Aid. .

First everyone was worried about Ohio and Iowa, but then those moved safely into Trump's column.
Then the worry shifted to Florida and North Carolina, and while those are tight, the momentum and tilt favors trump.
Next was the panic over Michigan and Pennsylvania, and now it looks like those are breaking Trump's way.
Finally, there was a belief that Minnesota and Wisconsin might not come through, but the tide is turning there from people on the ground reporting enthusiasm through the roof and a ton of unseen Trump voters just waiting to cast their ballot.
And that's what election day will look like. Ohio and Iowa will be called soon after polls close, then Florida and NC will be called, then Michigan and Pennsylvania with the election all but certain after that.
Wisconsin will be the next domino, with Minnesota being the big talking point since it'll be the first time it flips red since 72.
By the time Biden has no choice but to concede, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada will all go Trump. Shoot, he might even steal Colorado. Either way, before the polls close out west, Trump will have won.
And then maybe, just maybe, the people who didn't want to vote for Biden anyway but only cared about stopping the orange man, maybe they'll be so angry in California they'll take to the streets to cry and burn their couches, while republicans in the Golden State hand Trump the mother of all gifts.

As of now, the courtrs are allowing mail-in ballots to be counted 7 days after 11/3, even those without a post mark. So MN will be one of the States that Trump might win on election night but will be lost after the fraud kicks in.

Where I am the Trump signs outnumber the Biden signs by about 100 to 1. Or more. I have personally seen about 5 Biden signs in Grayson County. Trump signs, however, are pretty numerous. And being this is North Texas, you know the families here are pretty much armed and ready.
