Former National Review "Reporter" is So Fucking Ignorant He Doesn't Know That Joe Biden Infamously Lied and Plagiarized His Claims of a Workin' Class Coal-Minin' Background

Former National Review "journalist" Tim Alberta is so devoid of basic knowledge of political history, and so in the bag for progressive Democrats, that he praises Joe Biden for repeating his infamous claim, both false and plagiarized, that he was the first in his family to go to college:



Here, let me Wikipedia that for you, Professional Political Journalist:

Major controversy beset Biden's candidacy, beginning on September 12, 1987 with high-profile articles in The New York Times and The Des Moines Register.[22] Biden was accused of plagiarizing a speech by Neil Kinnock, leader of the British Labour Party.[23] Kinnock's speech, delivered to a Welsh Labour Party conference on May 15, 1987, and then rebroadcast during the UK 1987 general election, made reference to his background and that of his wife Glenys. It included the lines:


Why am I the first Kinnock in a thousand generations to be able to get to university? [Pointing to his wife in the audience:] Why is Glenys the first woman in her family in a thousand generations to be able to get to university? Was it because all our predecessors were thick?
Biden's speech made reference to himself and his wife Jill, and included the lines:


I started thinking as I was coming over here, why is it that Joe Biden is the first in his family ever to go to a university? [Pointing to his wife in the audience:] Why is it that my wife who is sitting out there in the audience is the first in her family to ever go to college? Is it because our fathers and mothers were not bright? Is it because I'm the first Biden in a thousand generations to get a college and a graduate degree that I was smarter than the rest?[23]

Biden went on to duplicate other parts of Kinnock's speech, such as their forebears' ability to read and write poetry, their strength in working for hours underground in a mine only to come up and play football afterward, and their being limited by lack of a "platform" upon which to stand.[23]

Biden had in fact cited Kinnock as the source for the formulation on previous occasions.[24][25] However, he made no reference to the original source at the August 23 Democratic debate at the Iowa State Fair being reported on,[26] nor in an August 26 interview for the National Education Association.[25] Moreover, while political speeches often appropriate ideas and language from each other, Biden's use came under more scrutiny because he fabricated aspects of his own family's background in order to match Kinnock's.[17][27]

Following the Kinnock attention, reports came from the San Jose Mercury News of Biden giving a February 3, 1987, speech to the California Democratic Party that reused without credit passages from a 1967 speech by Robert F. Kennedy, and of Biden giving 1985 and 1986 speeches that did the same with a passage from a 1976 speech by Hubert H. Humphrey.[28][29] In the Kennedy case – which got the greater attention, since there was film footage of both versions that television news programs could play side-by-side – Pat Caddell stated that the reuse without credit was his own fault, and that he had never informed Biden of the source of the material.[28] It was also reported that the California speech had taken a short phrase from the 1961 inaugural address of John F. Kennedy.[29]

Rather than being a deadly-effective line, this is proof of Biden's unfitness for office.
This is scary: Joe Biden has now incorporated plagiarized falsehood into his active memory of what really happened in his life.

Joe Biden did not live a hardscrabble life: his grandfather was an oil executive.

And members of his family did go to college, even back when very few people went to collge.

So this is all a lie, a lie first plagiarized in 1988 and now repeated yesterday because Joe Biden's brain is nothing but Alzheimer's, lies, and memories of groping underaged girls.

And left-liberal National Review reporter Tim Alberta praises him for it. Because So Conservative.

As I've mentioned, National Review's previous reporter, Robert Costa, went gonzo leftwing the moment he started working for the Washington Post.

Does this keep happening to the National Review because they're stupid and can't do a basic background check, or is it by design?

Could it be -- now hear me out on this -- that the "conservatism" the Establishment favors is in fact a very liberal one, one that can change its spots into actual Democrat progressivism with a moment's notice, except for their one "conservative" conviction that everything should be sacrificed for the Only True Conservative Principle that their donor-corporations should pay no taxes and not be subject to antitrust law?

But he multiplied it through production and investment. Which means he was worthy of it. If were unworthy of it, it would be gone. That is how inheritance works. If you're not good enough for your money, it will vanish and take you with it (there are exceptions way out at the end of the "scorekeeping rich" scale, but those are extremely rare).

Honestly, I doubt this will even have to be a factor. Joe Biden's breaking mentally and his policies are a laughable attempt to catch up to MAGA. The President probably has no interest in administering consequences for corruption when an coup attempt has barely been addressed.

I was the first to go to and finish college right after high school (one did night school later and got an MBA eventually, the other never finished and has had a remarkable career...set of careers really...anyway) and look where it got me! His paternal-side grandfather was an office manager working for an oil company. You can locate pix of the home his father grew up in; it was an ordinary middle-class house. You run back several generations on his maternal-side and paternal-side and you see men in common-and-garden bourgeois jobs earning a living as salesman and office supervisors. I think there's a late 19th century railway worker in there somewhere. Biden may very well have been the 1st person in his family to attend college as tertiary schooling was not typically to be found in the personal history of the sort of people his immediate ancestors were. NB, in 1928, less than 10% of those between their 18th and 25th birthday were enrolled in tertiary schooling, and for many of them, tertiary schooling meant hospital nursing schools, junior colleges, normal schools, c. Only about 6% were enrolled in 4 year colleges, universities or stand-alone professional schools.

BTW, Fred Trump, Sr.'s tertiary schooling consisted of night classes at a technical college. It was his younger brother John Trump who was so extensively educated and so accomplished in scientific and technical research. It was the next generation - the grandchildren of Friedrich and Elisabeth Christ - who all went to college. These people were born during the period running from 1931 to 1948 and most counted as contemporaries of Joseph Biden.
