Morning Rant - Special Guest Ranter [Weasel]

monkey 2 scaled.jpg

In a little over 45 days, we face what is arguably the most important election of our lifetimes. The most important, that is, until the next election, and then the one after that. The truth is there are no longer any unimportant elections. Accepting the status-quo and settling for whatever happens is how we came to find ourselves at the edge of the abyss. There is no more slack in the system, and no more room for error. The next misstep could well be our last.

Who is to blame? It is all too easy to simply fault the left, but rather more difficult to acknowledge we deserve at least some of the credit for the mess we're in. Quite a bit of the credit, actually. The change has been slow and insidious but right there in the open for all to see, beginning with the infiltration and corruption of the institutions of Western civilization in general, and those of the United States, in particular. The family, church, community, education, entertainment, media, and our judicial and political systems; all have been under assault for years. Aberrant practices and behaviors were first normalized and then glorified. Absurdities of logic have become commonplace and celebrated. Normalcy is now ridiculed, and merely sharing the cultural landscape is no longer good enough. Mere acceptance falls short and now only a complete submission to the ideals of the left is tolerated. Equality is a quaint notion when the left seeks to impose their bizarre notions of society through complete totalitarian control. This is the new reality. Our new reality.

Once the fundamental institutions defining a nation are weakened or destroyed, the fate of its culture is almost assured. This was not an accident, and we watched it happen. You think we're voting our way out of these circumstances at this point in the game? Think again. Today we are at best treading water. Will we recognize ourselves in 25 years?

10 Spot on, Weasel.

I absolutely agree, though I put it slightly differently. I put this as "the next election where the Democrats make significant national gains and/or win the presidency is the last election that ever mattered."

Seriously if you described the current state of America to a far leftwing activist in say 2000 they'd be amazed at how far they've come and probably not believe some of the things that they've achieved are things they even wanted...

From the infantile geniuses at Yahoo:

Whose voters are 'hidden' in polling data? 'Shy' Biden voters may actually outnumber Trump's

In fact, new data from the latest Yahoo News/YouGov poll suggests that shy Biden voters may now be more plentiful than shy Trump voters. Biden voters, on the other hand, tend to live in more politically diverse areas, with a much smaller number (44 percent) saying that all or most of their neighbors will vote for the Democratic nominee.

Politically diverse? Like California, New York, Illinois. That kind of politically diverse? I'll bet all of those "shy Biden voters" will vote by mail days after the election is over.

51 Things may very well get a whole lot worse with lots of bloodshed before they get better. If Trump wins (please G-D) the left will completely lose their collective shit. This time, however, Trump knows the game and has a hint of the depths to which the left will sink to attempt to undo the will of WE THE PEOPLE. I don't think he will play gently again, this time there will be mass arrests on federal charges. This time, the DOJ will be ordered to go after the financiers and other abettors for RICO, sedition, treason, etc. If we can prove Chy-nahs involvement, that is an act of war, those who assist Chy-nah are then, by definition, treasonous and should be hanged. . . . .or shot, their choice.

55 And I'd argue the specific event that launched us down this path is when Bill Clinton took information from the FBI files to leak that Newt Gingrich and his chosen successor were both having affairs - yes this was enough to end a Republican's political career in the 90s.

Who was the person that stepped into the House Speaker role after this operation? Dennis, the pedophile, Hastert - who the left knew at the time was a pedophile.

And that it why the Republican party because controlled opposition - the left had perfect blackmail material on the most powerful Republican in Washington and used it.

++++++++
It can, even if the opponent wants you dead. Where negotiation *cannot* work by any means - as we learned with the Nazis and the Japanese and the Soviets and the Koreans - is if you share nothing and have zero common ground. If you can't agree on any core premises, you cannot negotiate because there is no congruity in anything about which you care (or for which you will fight and die).

It is thus with the new Left. We share nothing. Not a single core principle is compatible. We disagree on nation states, on representative government, on speech, on faith, on assembly, on borders, on the source of rights, on education, on economic systems - on everything. There is nothing on which we agree, and that is why negotiation will fail.

If someone wants me dead but we agree on some core principles, I *might* be able to find a way out of that. If someone wants me dead and we disagree on everything, however, there is no way out but blood.

68 It's time to think about what a national divorce looks like. Not the best solution, but I believe that we will be the battered wife in this relationship going forward. I am hoping that Trump wins by outside the range of cheating/bitching and whining but after that happens ... The left will probably threaten a NY/NJ/DC right coast split, and a Cali/Oregon/Washington left coast split.
Instead of by state, lets do it by county. If you look at the last electoral maps by county, the blight is limited to small areas which can't sustain themselves. Let the bastards go ... they can't be gone for long as they can't feed themselves without the support of the rest of the world. Let them burn up their own enclaves and bring misery to their supporters. Time to wake up.

71 I would like to pose a question to the group, and I apologize if it is off-topic. I read the very enlightening article in the sidebar regarding the unliklihood of widespread ballot manipulation. It appears very reasonable and knowledge-based, but I have a problem with an assumption baked into it.

One idea stuck out to me: the belief that no state wishes to risk not certifying their election results. Why are we so sure?

Pennsylvania (my state) may well vote for Donny T this fall, but the state is currently run by progs. The same could be said of Michigan. What stops these states from undermining the certification of their own election results should Donny T win them? Sort of like taking a winning touchdown off the board "after review."

I can certainly see progressives saying something to the effect of "We cannot guarantee our election process was fair, so we will not certify PA's election results. It's a shame Joe Biden had to win this way." Is there any mechanism to stop this from happening?

As an interesting point to consider - Reagan did poorly with blacks. If Trump is really getting 30% or such of their votes, he would likely be looking at a better 2024 right now then Reagan's 1984 election.

I was actually mulling something similar over last night... I mean, whose fault is this, really? Of course, the answer is: the Commies. They're the perps; the grievous crimes belong to them, and their GOP cuck enablers share some of that blame.

But here's the thing... we on the *actual* Right always knew they were criminals. We always knew their plan was to destroy our country and enslave us. We always knew that laws and democracy meant precisely jack and shit to them, and that they couldn't be stopped by Constitutional means. We knew it, and for years we told, and then shouted it at, anyone who'd listen.

When what we should have been doing was organizing to fight them. Street actions, black marias, the whole bit. Future generations will look back on this last 50-or-so years, and say that during the Communist takeover of the American republic, the Right knew and did nothing, and that our eventual physical destruction by the State was partly our own fault.

Like many people say about European Jews in the Holocaust today.

If they refuse to certify, either that state's electoral votes are not counted, in which case Trump wins (as all of those states are needed by Biden to win), or it goes to the House, where Trump wins. I guess the only outside shot is that the governors of those states send Biden electors even if the state voted for Trump, but I don't see that as a viable option.

130 I agree with almost everything Weasel said accept the conclusion. If we aren't voting ourselves out of this then this can't be the most important election ever. In fact, it's not important at all.

Cocaine Mitch rammed through 6 more federal judges this week, 4 in California and 2 in Illinois. The transformation of the federal judiciary under Trump is staggering and will have huge implications for years to come in many areas of our society and culture. A second term will further cement the deal with the likelihood of multiple Supreme Court picks. The courts were always the left's ace in the hole and they are losing it.

I do agree that we took our eye off the ball and allowed much of the rot to take place and it will take years to dig it out but I don't think it's impossible. What we need is to develop a will as strong as the left's and it feels like it's building. The fact that it took a real estate developer from Queens to show the way never ceases to amaze me.

Speaking out of my ass, it shouldn't change the result. Not sending electors doesn't reduce the pool of electors nor lower the number needed to win. Petty foolishness like that would only be successful in wasting time and throwing the election into the House where - IIRC, a party line vote by state still gives Trump a win?

Re: your question. I think the math (avoids flaming pineapples and tomatoes and screams of "No Math!") says that Democrats taking those EC votes off the table helps the Republican candidate reach the target number. Remember that the "winning number" of EC votes is a percentage of the total, so the fewer overall votes there are the lower the threshold of winning. Trumps lock on red-state votes is much stronger than Sleepy's lock on blue-state votes.

------------

The progression used to be: Mom stayed home, looked after kids, once kids started school, mom would look for a part time job that didn't interfere with looking after the children.

Then, that insidious doctrine came about, the one that said, "You can't make others happy unless you first make yourself happy." Couple that with making it much easier to get a divorce and you've got families being destroyed because Dad decided he needed to be "happy" and happiness was defined by a new, younger squeeze.

That first generation of kids from broken homes were then taught "you can have it all." Two working parents, with a ton of income, even more debt, no matter you're paying someone else to look after your kids, no need to buy a starter house, get that big 4 bedroom 3 bath house...easy credit, because, two incomes!

You then wind up with two parents coming home, exhausted, dealing with the demands of children, running them everywhere to make up for the guilt of scheduling them in around work...and, due to these pressures, marriages start coming apart, and, men wind up paying this time around, because the first time around, they were the ones leaving.

Yay us!

It's possible that people living in overwhelmingly "blue" areas are seeing the occasional Trump sign and thus conclude that they're surrounded by Trump voters. (It's a real thing - in a space that is usually 100% one group, like women, it takes only a small percentage of men to make it feel like there's parity, there's some psychological multiplier thing that happens.)

OR maybe they're so profoundly embarrassed by Biden that they don't want to express support for him to their "blue" friends which will start the inevitable conversation that ends "you should vote for him anyway or we're all going to die."

Who knows.

I've argued for years that conservatives needed to punish the GOP to get them to pursue a conservative agenda. I argued in 2002, 2004, 2006, and on and on that conservatives should sit out the federal elections and let GOP take massive losses to prove a point. Yes, I realize that would give dems power in the short term, but what difference would it have made? The same results would have happened. the GOP is just a front for pushing more globalism/leftism.
The Election of Trump was something I didn't forsee, but acted in the same way as a "conservative voter strike" that I was pushing. And we have seen how the "conservative" pundits and GOP has responded. They are even worse than I thought. I thought their failure to deliver was more about electoral cowardice than them secretly being leftists/globalists. I was wrong on that count. We have learned that the GOP is a fiction - it exists to help further the same agenda the left is pushing, just a little slower than the democrats push it. Trump is trying to change that, which is why they hate him so much. The media, the GOP, the "conservative" press - they all hate Trump because he is not following their agenda, which is the left's agenda.

Posted by: pantsomime at September 18, 2020 11:34 AM (gd3bR)

224 The phrase "we are not voting our way out of this" generally (to me) imports the concept that we are going to have to fight/shoot our way out ... or that some level of civil war or chaotic "divorce" is inevitable.

imo, We can "vote our way out", but it will be incremental, the same way we got led down this dark ally, via external forces, combined with elitist shadow men (at cocktail partied) incrementally.

To get those votes to swing back toward America the Beautiful, will require cultural action. The Trump 2016 Earthquake Vote set the tone for confrontation of the DC Cartel and the Sharpton/Holder shakedowns. Notice how hard the left worked to deny the election results ... how hard our DeepState fought against that True the Vote woman, and their continuous coup against The Vote for Trump (for Liberty).

The left has found their riots are hurting them, their love of China is hurting them, their "defund the police" is hurting them. This is because they have not yet achieved Critical Mass for setting off the Nuke that was planned under a Hillary Regime. Dems are pushing hard on very unpopular concepts ... A landslide win for Trump would be a big step toward "voting our way out" ... a vote that shows America Land of Liberty has not been conquered.

But yeah, then all the cultural actions need to follow, but with some prosecutions of those shadow men from the top ... that would sure help. "Not voting our way out" seems too fatalistic to me ... Dems recognize they have to alter the vote, cheat the vote, lie to influence the vote, and with Biden they are failing. (lots of other down ballot choices though)

230 In a little over 45 days, we face what is arguably the most important election of our lifetimes.

Posted by: Open Blogger at 11:00 AM

Well said. And it is our own fault.

I think of the state of country like a home and voting like doing chores.

Think of a task list of things you want to do around the house. Cleaning, organizing, fix-ups, etc.

Think of cleaning, say, the bathroom. When you make a point to clean the bathroom every weekend, it's a small task. Because there's not a lot of mess that builds up in a week's time.

But if you miss a couple weeks and put off the cleaning for a month. Then the task becomes that much more difficult.

Same applies here. In an ideal world where everyone took each election seriously and paid attention to when things were just starting to get unclean and addressed them right away, things would be much easier to keep clean.

But when we've gone years, sometimes decades, ignoring the messes that keep developing and growing, then we get to the state we are in where each election is a monumental one.

The problem is that human nature tends not to worry about an issue when it's small. It's only when the issue becomes massive that we then start to worry about it and want to do something. And sometimes by then, it's too late.

Weasel, your post put it rather nicely. We do bear some of the responsibility ourselves.

The Left has some very powerful weapons at their disposal. One of the most powerful is their incrementalism.

Back during the fight over the ERA, Schlafly put it very simply that if the ERA passed, women could be drafted to fight and we'd have gay marriage. While there is some room for discussion on the merits of each today, it was very different 40+ years ago. Laying it out like that a couple of generations ago forced the voters to confront that possibility, and they didn't like that result.

Learning from that, the Left decided not to take that direct approach again, and now they just say 'just this, and that's all'. That of course never happens, and we don't notice until where we're at today, and all the elites now think that showing Cuties is just fine and dandy, and you're a Philistine if you don't sit back and enjoy it.

Worth noting that most modern messaging still encourages men to be relatively responsible, while encouraging women to do stupid, destructive, and childish things.

Men leaving their wives for a younger squeeze is really only possible if they're wealthy(which is duh a small proportion of men).

They're rioting, burning down entire fucking cities, and they get *NO CONSEQUENCES*.

They protest at some random dude's house. He's in the window with a shotgun(?) and *HE* gets arrested.

They're teaching our kids to hate themselves if they're white, and hate their country no matter what their color.

And we sit here and go "dear me, whatever should we do?" or "someone should shoot these fuckers" and the one person that *does* has enough charges slapped on him to put him in jail for something like 127 years.

Voting is going to do *nothing* about any of these things.

262 Then, that insidious doctrine came about, the one that said, "You can't make others happy unless you first make yourself happy." Couple that with making it much easier to get a divorce and you've got families being destroyed because Dad decided he needed to be "happy" and happiness was defined by a new, younger squeeze.

Yay us!

I don't expect her to win but I think it's good that she has run. Too often the GOP lets seats go uncontested and her running has perhaps made the Dems toss some money into that district or at least made her opponent spend some money instead of just getting to pocket it. That needs to happen more.

Posted by: Buzzion at September 18, 2020 11:37 AM

I think the most important and influential part of her campaign is her message.

Remember that Ronald Reagan did not win the nomination when he first ran for President. But he kept on with his message.

Her message is extremely important. This is the first time we have prominent, influential Black Americans challenging the Democrat plantation message. And I think it's awesome.

The more people who see the messages of Kim Klacik and the Hodge Twins and Candace Owens and even Kanye West, the better. The more it will give courage to other Black Americans to start questioning the leftist narrative and thinking for themselves as well. Strength in numbers.

266 They don't truly believe in "free markets". They believe in America letting every other country rip off America. If they believed in "free markets" they'd support Trump's attempts to get China to be a "free market" - which would include IP protections, not using slave labor, not manipulating their currency, not dumping products at below cost, etc.

No, they don't believe in "free markets" at all. It's a complete lie to claim that trade between the U.S. and China involves a "free market" when China is anything but a "free market".
Posted by: pantsomime at September 18, 2020 11:37 AM (gd3bR)

They don't believe in free markets. They believe in free trade as the core principle. This is a bad belief. Free trade when you have parity in underlying rights is a net benefit. Asymmetrical free trade - where one party (us) has no restrictions and the other party (say, the PRC) has no property rights of any kind, slave labor, currency manipulations, state-run credit, tariffs and more - is insanity.

But even then, I don't have much hope in a GOP-controlled congress to actually push Trump's agenda forward. I see more lawfare to stop Trump's executive orders, more failure theater in congress, and attempts to simply stymie Trump and wait him out.

The large scale movement of middle class women into the workforce had two causes, and *either* would have had the same net effect of compressing average wages and maintaining essentially static household wages. The first was the "women out of the home, in a career, contributing for self-fulfillment" piece. The other, though, which is rarely mentioned, is the inflation driven by the spendthrift government that hit in the 70s and the (requisite) abolition of the gold and silver standard.

That inflation put paid to the single-earner middle class household, and would have regardless of underling social currents. People needed more money, and their earning power was being inflated away by braindead policy. That would require more entrants into the workforce even without other factors. The only reason the effective doubling of the middle class workforce didn't cause wage declines is because it absorbed the inflation. That would have happened anyway.

Posted by: Darrell Harris

I think there lesson was a little different: to achieve their goals, they couldn't use the ballot box.The left understood before Breitbart did: politics is downstream of culture The Left redoubled their efforts to grab the schools and the entertainment and even business. When new ways of communications came up, they grabbed those too (the internet was a great conservative tool that favored us before Twitter and Google and Reddit.)

And then they pushed equal rights for women *in the culture*, and won overwhelmingly. (Women in the 50s and 60s felt sorry for Russian women because they had to hold down jobs AND raise children, for example. We went from that to women being horrified someone might them them unqualified for military combat positions.) And absolutely everything Schlafly warned about has come true, even her warning about bathrooms, which I remember her being mocked for at the time. And without any vote at all - it was a change by brainwashing people with a steady drumbeat of propaganda.

To overgeneralize, the right redoubled our efforts to organize politically to protect ourselves, and the left made a decision to grab the culture. We see now who made the smarter choice. It will take a lot of work to fix things.

And there most definitely are consequences. We now have the Minneapolis City Council whining "Were are the police?" as crime is spiking and the city is broke and broken. 305 Van Morrison (??!??!!) goes nuclear on the lockdown

The article is flamboyantly biased against him, but who would have guessed that Van Morrison of all people would be the first musician to do this:

https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-northern-ireland-54194408

"Northern Ireland's health minister has described three new songs by Sir Van Morrison that protest against coronavirus lockdowns as "dangerous".

In the lyrics, Sir Van claims scientists are "making up crooked facts" to justify measures that "enslave" the population.

"The new normal, is not normal," he sings. "We were born to be free".
...
Mr Swann said: "I don't know where he gets his facts. I know where the emotions are on this, but I will say that sort of messaging is dangerous.

"Our messaging is about saving lives.

"If Van wanted to sing a song about saving lives, then that would be more in keeping with where we are at the minute."
...
No More Lockdown is the most strident of the three tracks.

"No more lockdown / No more government overreach," the musician sings in the chorus. "No more fascist bullies / Disturbing our peace.

"No more taking of our freedom / And our God given rights / Pretending it's for our safety / When it's really to enslave.
"

Sir Van has previously caused controversy by denouncing what he called the "pseudoscience" around coronavirus.

Launching a campaign to "save live music" on his website last month, the 75-year-old said socially-distanced gigs were not economically viable.

"I call on my fellow singers, musicians, writers, producers, promoters and others in the industry to fight with me on this. Come forward, stand up, fight the pseudo-science and speak up."

Sir Van said his new songs would be released at two-week intervals with the first, Born To Be Free, arriving on 25 September."

These new songs are G-L-O-R-ious!

308 That inflation put paid to the single-earner middle class household, and would have regardless of underling social currents. People needed more money, and their earning power was being inflated away by braindead policy. That would require more entrants into the workforce even without other factors. The only reason the effective doubling of the middle class workforce didn't cause wage declines is because it absorbed the inflation. That would have happened anyway.

Good point.

I believe this was around the same time Americans got heavily into credit cards.

In the past most Americans would pay cash--even if they had to borrow the money from a family member.

314 Lot's of noise on how there isn't a single Second Amendment line in Trump's second term agenda. I think everyone realizes the alternative is the Democrats promised bans, outright confiscation and loading of the bench with anti Second Amendment judges, so there really isn't an overriding issue. But Trump's judicial picks have yet to prove their support for the Second Amendment and there are no specific items on the agenda. At best, that leaves a void.

Except that it's got nothing to do with intelligence, I want to agree with you. I'd say it doesn't have much to do with satisfaction either. It's just that some women really love small children and other women, even if they love their own, very sincerely do not. If given the choice between working at a daycare and living under a bridge, they'll start scoping out bridges.

And that's before making an assessment if you're reasonably capable of organizing your own life or desperately need the imposed organization of schedule and tasks that someone gets in a work place.

The rest of us aren't more dangerous than we've ever been, but we
might be a little more aware. They need to remember our side was and is
perfectly OK with Hiroshima and glass parking lots. We'll regret it was
necessary, though.

There's a trigger on our side, and it takes alot to set it off, and
it might be much harder today than it was 75 years ago. But I'll go to
my grave believing that it's still there and that when pulled the entire
world shudders.

I don't want that trigger pulled. I'll beg them with tears in my eyes not to make us pull it. But that doesn't mean we won't.

Totally this. We have a long fuse because we know what it means. The left is out there burning down cities without a single thought about what comes after, because they are the destroyers. We know what comes after, because we are the builders, so we're a bit slower to act. The thing is, once we do act, we won't stop until there is nobody left to complain, and unfortunately it seems like it will have to go there.

The greatness of Trump (or at least one of them) is that he's fearless about going into the lion's den to fight for this in their Forum, the media. The Snuffalupagous's Town Hall this week is proof of that.

I defy anyone to name a national GOP politician who would do the same thing, in front of a hilariously biased crowd. That Tapper anti-gun one comes to mind, but Senator Dondi only showed up there to pander, IIRC.

Posted by: GnuBreed at September 18, 2020 11:59 AM (Z4rgH)

348 I posted some of this earlier today. But, I had some additional thoughts...

Has anybody noticed that the riots have nearly disappeared? 10's of thousands or federal and state police forces were unable to quell the riots that went on for months without any democrat leaders denouncing them. Then, the polling came in after Kenosha and the Democrats began to see it hurting them. Joe and Kamela each make one weak statement against rioting. And several weeks later Nancy finally gets around to denouncing them and "poof" the riots seem to go away. If they continue to be gone for a few more days, Trump and all republicans need to draw attention to this fact right up to the election. it is a clear connection showing the Democrats control the rioters.

They also cancelled the riots that they were planning to have for DC up to election day.

The messaging on this from republicans needs to be tight and draw the conclusions for the public.

1. If democrats can stop the rioting now they could have stopped it in May.
2. The riots have directly resulted in more than 30 deaths (many minorities) and approx. 2 billion in property damage (often the property of minorities).
3. Police across the country in Democrat run cities have heard the democrats praise the riotous "protests" and have seen the democrat leaders would side with the criminals who resist arrest and have, reasonably, become less proactive.
4. The reasonable response of the police has resulted in an estimated 710 additional deaths in major cities in June and July of this year alone (the vast majority of whom have been blacks, including many black children).
5. The Democrats encouraged/tolerated this violence against the minorities they claim to represent and care about because they calculated that the chaos, destruction and death would be held against the party that controlled the presidency and the senate.
6. They miscalculated because it became clear that Republican leadership took efforts to stop it, democrat leadership encouraged/tolerated it and the rioters were ideologically aligned with Democrats.
7. The democrats made no effort to stop the chaos, death and destruction befalling primarily minorities until polling began show it was not helping their election chances.
8. Therefore, the Democrats used violence for political gain and only stopped when it did not produce the political gain they expected.
9. Do you want to elect people who use political violence and sacrifice their constituents to gain political power? What lengths might they be willing to go to to keep that power should they ever get it? If they were willing to do that to their supporters - what would they do to their opponents?

While it's easy to mock this - and I do - there's a deeper truth buried in here.

Brown v. Board of Ed, in many ways, was the a terrible decision handed down to the black community. In one fell swoop, it neutered the HBCUs and started the dismantling of the best institutions that were set up as an alternative to Jim Crow.

In many ways, of course, it needed to happen. The second order impact of the decision, however, ended up hurting future generations a lot more, and affirmative action did further harm still.

Not sure how you're going to put Humpty Dumpty back together again after almost 70 years, but I'm pretty sure that NYU's approach isn't it.

Stats largely bear out that families which have been here for more generations and speak English vote more Republican. You can do an analysis of past waves of immigration and see that they pretty much all skew heavily Democrat. This is impermanent for the ethnic group as by and large they all ultimately integrate(Hispanics start identifying as white, Italians and Irish already do). Iirc the Democrats call this attrition.

There are a few notable exceptions to this when they maintain strong non-American group identities. But most immigrants become generically American(and of their particular state) given enough time(a few generations).

As an aside, just finished Conflict of Visions. I wish I'd read it years ago, Sowell does an amazing job laying out how the left 's Unconstrained vision leads to ends-justifies-the-means, and how the right's Constrained vision says instead "keep the process fair" (same rules for everyone) and the ends will be the ones we need instead of the ones we want.

The Unconstrained vision doesn't have a self-correction mechanism built into their vision of the world because that would mean they have limits placed on them. The right sees the world as auto-correcting due to our own limitations, i.e. human fallibility, whether we want it to or not. Including violently apocalyptic correction if necessary.

Cannot recommend the book highly enough.

394 These idiots want to bring criminal law into this.

Of course, their lack of fidelity to anything prevents them from seeing that you can't actually convict anyone of criminal activity unless you *prove* something.

The Dems arguments that the President broke a law were so vapid in the Impeachment, that it does not even seem that they know what *proof* is. It's not jumping up and down and insisting that everybody who doesn't buy your narrative is a traitor.

However, unless we turn this country around, I am waiting for the day that we see a conviction not because anything is *proven* about him, but just because "he deserves it".

They tried to turn the whole benefit of the doubt thing 180-degrees on George Zimmerman. And whatever the left tries, just increases in frequency.

I imagine that unless Trump is followed by a Republican successor, Trump will be the first president indicted for "crimes" in his executive management. I don't think the Dems will *prove* anything, the worst part is that I am not confident that matters.

When I was not a Chrisian my standard for my own behavior, and what I tolerated from other people, slid steadily.

If you ceed the culture and social war by being "big tent", then how do you expect to win the political wars and keep our country? Serious question btw

416 I believe there's no way that we can stop the Democrats from getting back into power at some point.

The odds just are against that.

Thus we need no only to prepare to fight and win the next elections but to prepare the battleground and equip the army that will be needed when the Democrats do get power again.

Our first priority must be to stop them from removing our rights so that we will be able to fight.
Gun Control, Alien voters, vote fraud, other schemes whereby the winner is chosen by other means than winner take all in state/local votes. Preventing our enemies from salting out state offices with communists such as what Soros did with the AG's and the State Department folks who do the counting of the votes.

There's a lot to do and to prevent and during it all we must somehow flush the media down the drain and start being able to sue the social media when they censor people.

To be honest the last is the most important. If the media was even half way less partisan and actually reported the facts we would not be in such dire straits.

Frankly I'm a man who believes in direct action and I think that direct action is what is needed with the media.

They must learn that they will pay a large price when they lie and distort or simply not report the important stories of the day.

It's been a week now for Trump and Israel and few outlets have reported what is happening.

Already, I don't recognize ourselves.

419 The stated goal of communism is the destruction of Capitalism and installing a proletarian dictatorship.

The Kung Flu is the destruction part, the proletarian dictatorship is unfolding as we watch.

421 Whoever said that a cheating but very effective ploy by the governors of Democrat shithole states might sabotage the election by refusing to certify their state results if they went for Trump--on the bullshit excuse that they believed there was fraud so... was onto something. Consider this:. . .Supose the EV's are 260 D to 250 R, with 28 total from 3 states not counted because their corrupt governors wailed that they couldn't certify the results (despite a convincing Trump win in votes). At that point the Supreme Court would declare that the Dems had won, because they had a majority of the EV's actually certified... .. ..This is actually close to the margin in 2016, where a *total* of something like 140,000 votes would have tipped Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin to the Dems. All those states are Democrat-ruled. My guess is that at least one among the army of lawyers already on payroll for the Dems has already hit on this strategy... .. .. Now here's the problem: There is NO mechanism to force a state to certify its results if the state simply *claims* vote fraud. Note they don't have to prove it, just *claim* it. And there's not enough time between the election and inauguration to investigate thoroughly anyway... .. .. I think this is a VERY real possibility. And if the Dems decide to do this I'm damned if I know how to prevent it. And think it's been amply demonstrated that they'll do absolutely anything to win the presidency.

422 Even though I believe Trump will win I am not hopeful that he will prevail. Perhaps filling RGB's seat will be the defining moment when the election is protected from the left's fraudulent recounting and deep state coup.

What part of fighting for our way of life do you not understand? We no longer have the luxury of intellectual debate. The other side is willing to destroy cities and kill to prevail, and election fraud is nothing to them, they consider it a fair outcome. Debate that.

424 You don't debate Marxists, anymore than you would debate a pack of hyenas. Follow closely now:

They

Don't

Care

They are control freaks, you cannot reason with the Ctrl-Left. They will never leave you alone, they will never stop.

The only lesson Marxists understand is the plunge from a helicopter.

425 And the blogger is correct - conservatives just want to be left alone to pursue family and career. Like the Ents of Tolkien, it takes too much to wake them to action.

We have enabled the Marxist Left, because we lack the will to act.
