This filthy son-of-a-bitch -- starting a public war against his wife, now resulting in one of the child he should have been thinking of seeking emancipation from her parents.
After Kellyanne Conway's daughter Claudia Conway said on Twitter that she's seeking emancipation from her parents, Kellyanne and George Conway announced they will resign from their political jobs in order to focus on their family.There has long been a rumor/theory that George Conway's unconscionable behavior was spurred by the fact that the Conways are not in any real way a "married" couple any longer, and have effected a "Catholic divorce" -- a divorce in every way except legal and public aknowledgment thereof. They didn't want to make the split official for the benefit of the children. Whoa whoa whoa, you two. Kellyanne is at least partly responsible for his win, and she stayed loyal. She was never about herself in the way other Trump "loyalists" turned out to be. Many opportunities to shiv him, especially as a woman. But my God could you imagine the adulation she would receive?
Kellyanne is the one who came up with the brilliant idea in 2016 to regularly mix in extemporaneous speech with his stilted teleprompter reading - something no one in known history had ever done before. And which he still does as a rule - and the Biden campaign has now stolen for themselves. And likely many future politicians, I would imagine. I mean that act alone has got to be worth something. I disagree with this. Even though she's the type of person I automatically don't like she's been extremely loyal to DJT. It's not actually harder with kids. Kids do show that you fulfilled one of the reasons for marriage but not that you entered into the sacrament with the intention of "a complete gift of self" fully and with your free will understanding what you were doing.

I had great parents, even though they divorced when I was just 6. It was really their love for their children that kept us from being screwed up. They made it as pleasant as they could, and we spent nearly the same amount of time with each parent. Yeah, divorce sucks for kids, but so does growing up with parents at war with each other in the same house.
Best thing for the kids is for the parents to grow the hell up, act like responsible adults, and behave civilly to their child's or children's other parent, regardless of how they feel about that person. If the parents despise each other, that's their problem, and they shouldn't make it the kid's problem, regardless of whether they choose to divorce or stay married.

Here's the thing though. I think that on the whole, and especially under the circumstances, I've been a pretty good parent. My parents were horrific as parents. But the positive side was I learned what I would NOT do to my kids, and was highly motivated to make sure I didn't repeat that cycle of shit on them. So...point being sometimes people who had shit examples can still make be parents if they learned the right lessons from it.
Now...still trying to convince myself that I'm not worthless unloveable garbage is a totally separate issue. But that's a work in progress.

Wife decided she could do better. He tried everything, including counseling. Kids were grown so he finally gave up and they divorced. He's remarried to a nicer woman. Wife is still single.
This reminds me of the "we've tried everything phase". If it doesn't work, you can't say they didn't try.
