In the photo released today, notice there is nothing in the photo to give you context for size. If you go back and look at the photo taken in 2019 of that garage doorway, which does show this, you can see the entire thing is about the size of a man's hand.

So if it was a "noose" it would barely fit over a chihuahua's head.

Now why would someone use this as a door pull? Because it's a handy knot, it works, it doesn't fall apart, and no white person before now realized that this shape, even when it's tiny, makes certain grown men burst out in tears while they wet themselves.

It's an interesting perspective - a close-up of the rope loop with small people on the background, which makes it look more menacing.

Checkout pictures of it from an old NASCAR video where you see it from a distance w/a guy standing next to it. It looks like a door pull. The loop is only big enough to fit a hand, something that is NOT obvious from the just-released photo, by design.

I got over being afraid and angry at the stupidness going on in seattle. it was killing me. my bp was up, I was getting dizzy and nauseated all the time. My anxiety was through the roof.

I decided that I'm going to put my head in the sand, be kind to the people around me, find humor in the most ridiculous of situations and not cede my power to those who wish me harm.

I am carrying when I feel the need to, which is less now than it was three weeks ago.

291 One weird thing though, the rope in the newly
released "Noose" photo sure does look a lot thicker than the rope shown
in the original picture of the rope after its cut down. The original
rope looked like regular clothes line rope. This one is a lot beefier.

This is sofa king stupid. It's not just garage doors but any pull-up pull-down door. Go out driving on a highway and look at the back of any van truck or tractor trailer with a roll-up door: you will see a strap or a rope on all of them, usually with a loop in it. Why a loop (or hand hold, or handle)? Because a straight strap or rope sliding out of your hand (think similar to a paper cut) hurts like hell. So, there are literally tens of thousands of "nooses" traversing down highways and secondary roads as we speak. But as I said before, this is sofa king stupid.

Your plan and actions are wise. Can't let this crap drive you mad, but you have to be ready for anything.

I hate California with the fiery heat of a trillion exploding suns but the job is a decent one and keeps me busy. I travel up to Seattle/Bothell to see my 13 year old daughter every other weekend so that's good. It's been funny going from 4 people on an entire 737 back in April to packed flights of sheep-like humans wearing masks.

All in all, I'm good.
