Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | The Morning Rant![]() "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."So there is a civic (public) interest that proper modes of behavior, dress, and respect be taught in the public schools. But now such things are considered by Our Betters as outmoded, pathologically repressive or, ironically, unconstitutional. Everything that went into what it means to be a good citizen got tossed. Well, not 'tossed' so much as replaced by the progressive 'woke' equivalent. Progressives define 'moral' as' woke', which is mainly subscribing to the correct views regarding race, gender, and sexual behavior. So a moral person is a woke person and the more woke you are, the more moral you are. This right here is a pretty good example of the woke morality. Old-fashioned virtues like honesty, gentleness, respect, kindness, forbearance, and self-control are not important in a woke environment. Which is why you're seeing incidents in CHAZ such as the one caught by the video in the tweet below. Also this one. You watch those and you think, holy crap, whatever happened to impulse control? Even the hirsute hippies did it better with their communes and Woodstock and summers of love. They weren't running around shooting each other, Altamont notwithstanding. But then again, they were mainly middle-class and upper-middle-class white kids who, even though they thought they were being all liberated and rebellious and stuff, were still saturated with the bourgeois values of their parents, who had lived through the Great Depression and WWII and whose only crime was giving their children everything they wanted because they did not want them to suffer the deprivation that they had. And all it took was one generation of neglect, just one, and poof, the reserve of bourgeois values necessary to maintain Western Civilizational disappeared. And I'm not sure it's possible to ever get it back. Because, as G.K. Chesterton once said, “if men will not be governed by the Ten Commandments, they shall be governed by the ten thousand commandments.”" This suggests that the only way the United States is going to hold together is by some form of tyranny, and if that's the case, it will not be worth it.

Planned Parenthood fires top exec over allegations of racism
A top executive at the Planned Parenthood Federation of America has been fired over allegations of racism. The organization's board of directors announced Tuesday that they had "parted ways" Monday with Laura McQuade, who had served as chief executive of Planned Parenthood of Greater New York since 2017, the New York Times reported. The news came after allegations of both abusive and discriminatory behavior towards black Planned Parenthood employees. Hundreds of employees formed a group called Save PPGNY and spoke out against McQuade in the form of letters letters that demanded she be removed from her position. "We reject what we view as McQuade's Trumpian leadership style," one of the letters said, according to the Times, "and envision a Planned Parenthood where all our staff, in particular our black and other staff of color, are honored for their expertise and included in the decision-making ******** Someone wanna tell them about Margaret Sanger Posted by: Ghost Of Qassem Soleimani at June 24, 2020 11:48 AM (n/LcJ) 29

You Know This Would Be Coming
The same instantaneous infection syndrome happened when the Florida beaches reopened - there was a big increase in cases the very next day. Meanwhile, Multnomah County (Portland) is having an unprecedented wave of CCP virus cases. The Multnomah County Health Department says "only a handful" of cases can be traced back to the month-long nightly demonstrations in Portland. They don't tell you how many cases a "handful" is, of course, and I fully expect them to lie about it, if necessary. This is the same health department that refuses to break down CCP virus cases by zip code, because it would be stigmatizing to minority zip codes with lots of virus cases. one final note on the Flaming Skull, and the question, "is this over?" When a 3 judge panel makes a ruling, any active judge on the full court (currently there are 11 active judges on that circuit) can ask for a vote to rehear the case en banc (all eleven of them) without any need for any appeal to be filed. It takes 6 votes out of the 11 for the case to be reheard that way.
So, that's where the hesitation to celebrate too early comes from. Also, looks like Judge Sullivan has 7 days before he has to comply. Posted by: Tom Servo at June 24, 2020 11:56 AM (Kpl3J) 77

The power of learning about history is so amazing. You got to look at the how the slaves lived, see tgeir names listed and think about how it must have been for them. We also enjoyed learning about the plantation owners. Fascinating story all around. I even bought a book from them and I almost never by stuff from tourist places. If they shut down that plantation, they will erase the memory of all the slaves. I am convinced they want to completely erase history so that when they ramp up their atrocities, no one will be able to identify the evil and consequences of what they are doing. Posted by: t-bird at June 24, 2020 12:04 PM (AytXr) In South Louisiana today, "Island" can mean any bit of land that has creeks or bayous all the way around it, so that you have to cross water to get to it. Even if it's only 6' of water. It also can mean any high spot in a marsh. Posted by: Tom Servo at June 24, 2020 12:09 PM (Kpl3J) 167

My friend is in the medical field. He said the doctors at his hospital claim the covid tests are fugazi because the strand of RNA they test for is common to other coronavirus strains, AKA the common cold. Also, a person will test positive even if there is dead virus present.
Posted by: kallisto The PCR tests are looking for certain polypeptide sequences which are believe to be "indicative" of the Covid 19 virus. And yes, they can be in other so-called Corona viruses that you might have already had. And dead virus floating around in your bloodstream. We all carry small amounts of a lot of residual viruses in our blood stream. The PCR tests are supposed to amplify that, and if the "signal" is high enough, it's considered positive. It's a test, and not fool proof and not nearly 100% reliable. I think people on this here blog have commented about friends and relatives that have alternately been tested positive and negative. And yes, the PCR tests are not fool proof. A real viral test takes hours and is a lot of work. Posted by: Bozo Conservative....outlaw in America at June 24, 2020 12:15 PM (vcOmj) 205

The thing about war, whether it be cultural, spiritual or physical, is both sides are sure they are right.
But objectively, only one side is truly correct. If you are going to do battle, you will have to accept the fact that you are going to have to do some unsavory things that you wish you didn't have to in order to achieve victory. I wish I could just reason with my enemy. But if they are unreasonable, I have a couple of choices. Cede ground or defeat them by whatever means necessary. Our side, the side of the Constitution, Jude-Christian religion, traditional family structure and freedom, has to this point only ceded ground save for a few court rulings. But our cause is correct, and at some point we Re going to have to fight by whatever means necessary because our territory is shrinking. We can only be the reasonable one in an unreasonable relationship for so long. Posted by: Bitter Clinger at June 24, 2020 12:16 PM (V29A+) 217

And yes, the PCR tests are not fool proof. A real viral test takes hours and is a lot of work. Posted by: Bozo Conservative....outlaw in America at June 24, 2020 12:15 PM (vcOmj) Yes, the reason HIV PCR tests are so reliable (and expensive and time consuming to perform) is that the viral properties are so unique. Coronaviruses are a dime a dozen, and the ONLY reason we might expect the tests to be specific enough to locate this particular virus and not others is if.... it's genetically altered. In a lab. Progressives define 'moral' as' woke', which is mainly subscribing to the correct views regarding race, gender, and sexual behavior.
The thing is, this could work... if they were consistent and ratoinal about it. If they developed a structured, systematic morality and code of behavior and stuck to it, then it could work to create a unified, functional society. It might be based on falsehoods or absurdity, but it could work to run a nation around and provide a moral skeleton for a culture. The problem is, they wiped out the old morality which was providing that skeleton and could allow liberty to flourish... and replaced it with jello. Every day practically, the rules change. Just this week we went from "defund the cops" to "call the cops if someone uses fireworks" Every week its a new contradiction or reversal of a previous rule. Arizona Senator Martha McSally introduced legislation on Monday that would encourage Americans to support the tourism industry following the COVID-19 pandemic. The bill, called the "American Tax Rebate and Incentive Program Act" or American TRIP, would provide tax credits to Americans who spend money on lodging, entertainment, and other expenses related to travel in the United States and its territories. The proposed legislation, if passed, would provide a $4,000 travel credit for individuals, or $8,000 for joint filers, through January 1, 2022. It would also include an additional $500 credit for dependent children. However, the travel destination cannot be less than 50 miles from the taxpayer's main residence. 228 Thinking more about whether the Flynn case is really over, it comes down to whether the full DC Circuit is political enough to keep this going on, or whether they decide it's a shitshow time waster that they can be free of if they just ignore it from here on out.
________________ Keeping this case alive may end up hurting Obama more than helping him. We now know that it was Obama himself who ordered the FBI to go after Flynn. Think about that: an outgoing president who despises the incoming president and has a personal grudge against the incoming president's NSA pick, orders the FBI to start a criminal investigation of the incoming NSA for the high crime of . . . making a phone call in the context of his job. This was a gross abuse of power by Obama and his minions in the FBI and DOJ. And keeping this case alive is only going to draw more public attention to the blatant political corruption at the heart of it. There is no doubt that the D.C. Circuit is political. But the majority of those judges are leftists who will want to protect Obama, and keeping this case going does not really serve that end. "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."
To expand upon this point a little bit, isn't it unusual that all of the great movements for independence were undertaken in an environment where this type of morality existed, even if it wasn't so in practice? Ghandi would have been executed and forgotten if he espoused his doctrine during the Roman Empire, or in medieval China or Japan. The British Empire allowed his protest to take place peacefully. MLK simply asked America to live up to the principles of its founding. When moral people saw their fellow citizens attacked by dogs and police, their outrage accelerated the necessary change. This could not have happened in the USSR. Our current environment of freedom of expression allows the very elements of its destruction to thrive here in the USA. We simply need to have our eyes open to the fact that once these insurrectionists get what they want, those freedoms will end. To them, democracy and free expression are like a subway, and once you get to the ultimate destination, you get off. This needs to be opposed at every corner. ...It's depressing looking at this collection of lost, bitter, angry souls. Some of them looked like they're possessed: https://twitter.com/MrAndyNgo The " separation of Church and State," itself an incorrect interpretation of A1, morphed into "separation of God and Society." Deliberately. And all that's been going on is the direct, intended result. Posted by: Michael J. at June 24, 2020 01:11 PM (Rbu5d) 416

Purdue University President Mitch Daniels needs to be sued until he loses EVERY fucking thing he owns. Find shit on his family's Twitter accoutns and sue his wife and kids , too. If we don't start fucking up these commie cowards in court, we are going to lose. Posted by: deplorable unperson - Black Lives Matter is a terrorist organization at June 24, 2020 12:41 PM *sigh* Why does it always seem whenever my alma mater is in the news, it's for some fvck-up. Only good news regarding Purdue I remember reading about here was Tri-Corner Hat Girl. Seems such a long time ago now... and so far removed from the days of pride in the school for being known for astronauts Gus Grissom, Neil Armstrong and others. She'll have to be (un)dressed appropriately, of course, but that shouldn't be a problem once we loot some Victoria's Secret shops.

Andy Ngo is going to get himself killed. It's very sad. He's doing great and important work and no one will help him when he gets beaten next time, and eventually to death.
It's shameful. A depressing statement. Posted by: Joe Mannix (Not a cop!) at June 24, 2020 01:40 PM (hYcqw) 422

Absolutely shocking, chimps chimping out. Only conservatives can see this as surprising, everyone else knows that's why this never gets attention. If they show it people will tune out this racial BS.

You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this matter to be really something which I think I would never understand.
It seems too complicated and extremely broad for me. I am looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the hang of it! Posted by: Yvonne at June 25, 2020 06:06 PM (7BnjM) 426
