There were just so many, it is not possible to charge them all. They were all low level people who totally duped the prosecution team. And their hard drives all crashed, and the backups didn't work. So there is no way to find out.

I can't urge strongly enough for everyone here to read her book.
It reads like a series of blog posts, because I think it is, but she does all the ground work, digging up all the ties that bind all these folks together.
It's absolutely terrifying how thoroughly warped this whole system is. I think even people around this here site who keep saying "deep state this" and "deep state that" don't really have a sense for it all.
We've all seen and heard the names. No one else I know has tied them all together as Ms. West has.

The Right Stuff is an interesting docudrama (?) but it isn't really a story. It also has pacing problems.
Amadeus...absolutely. A complete package of writing, music, cinematography and performances. A+

Not even close. The 70's had a few hits but so much trash as to be embarrassing. Sci-fi was pretty bad. Only Star Wars saved it. Actually, 1977 through 1987 could arguably be the greatest run of sci-fi films in history.

Question here, how does complete exoneration work with pleading guilty?
We all know why he plead guilty, but seems to me that he is going to be
in a "were you lying to me then or are you lying to me now" situation
with the court. Unless this is so bad that the court throws the book at
the federal government (and I'm not holding my breath on that) I'm not
entirely sure he gets off completely. Then again, I'm not a lawyer so
what do I know.

Read a lawyer crime novel that centered around pleading guilty and then trying to undo it. It seemed that for the plea to be withdrawn from the court, allowed by a judge, the facts leading to the false plea of guilty needed to be pretty severe. And that if the plea were withdrawn because of prosecutorial misconduct that bad things would happen to the bad actors. Said not a lawyer who read a book once.

This is probably an Errol Flynn era movie that I saw once. The plot revolved around a prince, heir to the throne, but the king was dead and his uncle ruling in his place or somesuch. The prince acts either mad or drunk all the time to appear to not be a threat. There is a ring which proves his claim to the throne iirc.
I remember it being a great film but I can only remember bits and pieces.

Flynn has been out on bond, but his lawyers, including the original ones that conspired with the FBI AGAINST FLYNN have bankrupted him.
I bet that part of his new lawyer's payment is that Flynn signed over the rights to his story as partial payment of his legal expenses.
She is very good, can't remember her name. She won the Enron and Arthur Anderson cases on appeal.

I've long been a fan of Black and White Noir films, and films generally from the Thirties through the Fifties.
My impression has always been, of that era. that even with marginal films, actors could be counted on to show up, do their job in a professional fashion and go home.
A professionalism I think is sadly lacking these days.
Side note: I think Fred MacMurray is the greatest actor that ever worked in Hollywood.

I've long been a fan of Black and White Noir films, and films generally from the Thirties through the Fifties.
My impression has always been, of that era. that even with marginal films, actors could be counted on to show up, do their job in a professional fashion and go home.
A professionalism I think is sadly lacking these days.

That's one of the big advantages of the studio system. Everyone's there just to do a job, and studios could keep tight leashes on people.
However, it's a bureaucracy, and bureaucracies tend to become moribund and stagnant, which is exactly what happened in the 60s and 70s.

The 80's have a lot of great movies and even more enjoyable movies.
The 90's had a few home runs but a lot of the content started going downhill. Dunno if it was the direct to video/cable trend or what happened.
2000's were even worse. Fewer and fewer great movies in the past 20 years. Frankly, fewer and fewer good or enjoyable flicks, compared to decades prior.
For me, the 80's were the sweet spot. You still had 70's art and T&A but you also had the sci fi fantasy boom. 'new' movies were still being made then, not just remake after remake.

I think you're about right. The Out of Shadows doc that was going around last week mentions 1996 as a pivotal year for "shadow" oversight of what comes out of Whoreywood. Plus it takes a couple years for things to spin out of there, so that would put it in the 1998 to 2000 range.

I definitely can, including the part about getting slightly lost back stage in the old theater, only we one upped it and burned the building next door down on the same night. I have a constant running background process of pitch it down an octave. I've had voice training specifically to try to address it. When I'm ticked or tired? Woosh all that goes out the window.
I also speak very quickly and slur my words. It's now been a week and a half since I've spoken to anyone other than the 'rents briefly every day to make sure they are okay and Bander every night (pity Bander, he gets all the pent up screeching towards) and I despair at what will happen if/when I ever speak to people again. I presume I will be unintelligible.

Studios want that China market. This means appeasing the Chinese censors but even more important than that as far as content goes, they have to dumb it down. This isn't because the Chinese are stupid, but most don't speak English. So when they get an American movie, they have to subtitle it. In order for it to subtitle well, it has to translate well. And it is far easier to translate simple language and ideas than complex language and ideas.
I suspect that the desire to make English-speaking movies portable to foreign audiences - and particularly very foreign audiences like those in East Asia - has resulted in a lot of simplification and removal of nuance from the stories.

For an eleven year old me that was more then enough.
She also lead to teh sexy chicks in scifi of the late 70s and early 80s (Buck Rodgers on TV and Flash Gordon movie) so poor lil Carrie has a special place in my heart.

I saw Bottle Rocket before anything else he'd done, and anyone familiar with his work won't be surprised by it, but I was expecting something else, and was most pleasantly surprised when I didn't get it.
This past weekend I watched "Next of Kin," which is the first film of Adam Egoyan. I bought his collection, based on one of your threads, I believe, and knowing nothing of the filmmaker, I had a similar experience there. I though the movie would go somewhere else, and I am so grateful it didn't. I have to watch it again (it's very short), because I think I will get more out of it, not waiting for something to happen that was never even remotely going to be part of the film.

As I said, the Flynn matter is not separate from the Russia hoax, it was central to it. Same group of people from the FBI/DOJ and same people from the Obama executive team.
Remember that famous January 5, 2017 meeting in Obama's office that Susan Rice wrote her "everything by the book" email about? She was there, so was Comey, Sally Yates and Slow Joe Biden.
It was right after that they started falling on Flynn. Joe knew.

Well, yes, you are absolutely right. They abused the FISC under the fraudulent pretense that this was a national security thing.
But it was a criminal conspiracy to misuse the FISC this way.
Which is why it seems foolish to have Joe involved.
I mean, consulting with a lawyer is legal. But if I use the pretense of consulting with my lawyer to plot with him a means to do crimes, well attorney / client privilege goes out the window. Because we are conspiring together to do crimes.
Hey, it happens. Attorney/client privilege gets abused at times. (See Lynn Stewart) But just because me and my lawyer are doing a criminal conspiracy under the guise of attorney / client consultation ... that doesn't mean it's a good idea to have other, unnecessary lawyers involved or privy to this.
And that's why I think it would be foolish to have Joe involved. He wasn't running for president, Hilary was.
Just my two cents.

FYI, I'm finally getting over the virus... Have been sick for about the past 6 weeks... it definitely takes a while and follows the pattern of feeling better then feeling worse...
Have recently started actually coughing up a small amount of crud from my lungs, which is always a sign my body is successfully fighting off the infection...
Still not 100%... but I take a daily dose of Emergen-C mixed with Super Greens powder, and now that the sun is finally shining I'm trying to get as much outdoor time as I can... it seems to help...
I've found that drinking lots of water also seems to help some, and I have an Albuterol inhaler / Mucinex DM for when things get really bad...
Hang in there... try to get as much sleep as you can and avoid alcohol / caffeine (these seem to make it worse for me...)

Seriously, you need to get tested again because if you are Chink AIDS positive, the sooner you get on the Hydrochloriquine + plus Zpac + zinc, the better chance you have at a recovery with minimal damage. Fucking doctors are putting patients too late on this cocktail for nefarious reasons.
