Kamala is the logical choice for VP for Biden, and maybe even Bernie. It scares me, but I honestly think Biden will pick her, she's an African American female and ticks a lot of diversity boxes for him. Bernie could easily pick her as well (although he seems to be fading.) Warren won't, I don't think Warren would want an all female ticket.

There were thousands and thousands of hours invested in investigating this guys background. Multiple times, especially the last time he was appointed - supreme court. It is an outrageous thing to say that despite all those investigations he is still said to have done it "just because we haven't proven it". No proof is needed outside the courtroom. These slanders and FakeNarratives are to drive public opinion ... it is a well funded and coordinated SlanderOperation, run by a coordinated effort of our own FBI/CIA, congress critters, media, and BigMoney (Soros in particular). It is one giant PsyOp that started back in Soviet infiltration days, and the gangsters are networked throughout media and government. Also, she isn't African AMerican and Biden has better polling numbers with AA voters than she does, so again, adds nothing. Posted by: Sock Monkey... going boldly...somewhere...when I find my keys at September 18, 2019 01:10 PM (R3pi1) ---------- Virtually every prosecutor views it as a stepping stone to higher office. Not that they're ALL willing to frame someone to do it, mind you, but a significant portion will do anything for a high conviction rate. Once you get to a state AG, their eyes are on the governor's office or (or the Presidency at some point). And among people like that, there is no honesty or principle to be found. 232 163 OT: Interesting long article about 737MAX crashes at NYT Mag. Long story short: pilots suck, airlines suck, aircraft are great. I don't know if that's true or not, but interesting reading. Surprisingly, in 14,000 words, they don't blame Kavanaugh even once.
Posted by: gp, Decaffeinated By Popular Demand at September 18, 2019 12:50 PM (mk9aG) Remember, pilots don't fly planes as a general rule. They suggest what should occur with fly by wire and computer control. If only they had the simulator time that the Malaysian Airlines pilot had, ya know, the one that flew into a black hole. "Remember, pilots don't fly planes as a general rule. They suggest what should occur with fly by wire and computer control."
That is covered in the article. My impression, since the beginning of this whole fiasco, has been this: If sensors on the aircraft are faulty, don't fly it with passengers until the problem is fixed. None of this "two out of three agree" crap. Don't fly aircraft with broken components AT ALL, no matter what pressures the airlines and schedules put on you. Pilots and mechanics should stand united on this. I had the displeasure of working on one of the first second generation mainframes, the Philco 2000. Because our tape drives and tapes were faulty, we would run jobs multiple times looking for repeatable results: two out of three, three out of five. That is a horsesh!t way to do things, especially when lives are on the line. Posted by: gp, Decaffeinated By Popular Demand at September 18, 2019 01:17 PM (mk9aG) 286
