You may have missed it last week, but the media decided that last week they would announce "Brian Williams' Renaissance" and his "Big Comeback," opining that he had regained the credibility he'd lost when repeatedly lying about being under fire in his Danger Man Walter Mitty fantasies. Ooops! I can't help but read "said Brian Williams' agent" after each of the anonymous quotes boosting Brian Williams in the Politico story quoted below.The Brian Williams comeback is complete. Almost....And now this lying leftist is on tv telling people, with Rachel Maddow levels of shamelessness, that the Mueller report left open the possibility of Russian collusion.
The return Williams to (cable) network anchor status has been so understated and seamless, that it would have been easy not to notice.... Williams's transgression is hardly mentioned anymore, perhaps because he apologized and accepted the punishment, or because of the time that has passed. Yes, it's OK, but it seems too ordinary. Later in my concert-going career, I started wearing T-shirts of bands other than the one I was seeing. I figured it might be a conversation-starter. "Hey, I like that band, too!"
If I was going to a concert today, I'd probably wear a SpaceX shirt or something.
Now if you're going to a sporting event, you'll probably want to wear the shirt of the team you're rooting for rather than the shirt of their opponent.
But I see no reason not to, say, wear an Eagles shirt to a Phillies game or vice versa.

See, if Barr is a crooked lying Orange-Man stooge, then the media can report on THAT and assess as politically motivated, and thereby ignore, any prosecutions the Trump Admin. takes against Comey, Brennan, Clapper, Nuland, Page, Strzok, Ohr-Twins, etc. In fact, I anticipate their reporting on it will consist almost exclusively of attacking Trump, Barr and anyone else involved, as destroying the Constitution and engaging in unjust political prosecutions.
