Your President, The Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Has Two Important Things He'd Like to Share With You

I assume he was kidding about that last point. If not, then this is impeachable.

But let's assume he was "kidding" -- actually pandering to the White Aspirational Urban Progressives that make up his base.

All this asshole does is:

1, Fail,

and 2, troll the Twitter #TrendingTopics lists to see what TV shows he should mention in order to pander to his frivolous, TV-crazed base.

In turn, his idiot progressive zealots -- who fancy themselves intellectual -- shower him with love.

Just.

For Watching.

The Same TV shows.

That They Do.

Astonishing.

Our first True Intellectual President.

He's Maureen Dowd with a flouncier jump-shot.

1 It takes a special kind of guy to use the word "flouncier", Ace..

8 Of course he's pulling for the women on that show. Like the ones in his administration, they superficially get treated as if they are part of the club, but get paid less. Also can't ignore the parallel that its Joan who gets whored Joan out to a client.

I remember a lot of truly ferocious outrage on the right back when Snuffleupagus was acting as a "debate moderator" in the 2012 GOP primaries, and asking ridiculously biased questions.

But really, people -- the guy is a career Democratic political hack, who works for a huge media combine that gets tons of lucrative favors and corporate welfare from Democrats. Would anyone in their right mind ever plausibly expect fairness from that?

Might as well get angry with a dog for rolling in nasty stuff. _It's what they do_.

What people instead should be angry about is that the cretinous inbred ossified Republican establishment VOLUNTARILY AGREED to have both primary and general election debates in 2012 be "moderated" by Democratic political hacks.

That is the actual scandal. That's what something can be done about.

147 78. Nearly everything Choom does is impeachable yet somehow, he's still in office. -- Titanium

There is no opposition given the US Washingtonian e pluribus unum transnational corporate uniparty.

It stands to reason that Republicans are as guilty as Obama, in different fashions perhaps, but in the same boat nonetheless:

1. reasoning why they're scared shitless of "impeachment" -- not even tolerating the "I" word in their vocabulary. Erased and the word "Lawsuit" juxtaposed in place. Revisionism is corruption, augmenting unaccountability..

2. reasoning that they want every bit of unaccountability for themselves as they provide Obama, just taking "turns" winning PARTICIPATION AWARD elections. Getting elected has nothing to do with supporting, honoring and defending the US Constitution; and everything to do with abusing and stealing everything for personal profits while in office, while yet "connected" with those in office.

Like Democrats, Republicans are power mongers with absolutely no intention whatsoever of responsibly performing their official duties. They'll give lip service and sometimes go through the motions for photo ops. But otherwise...

It's past time to disrupt Washingtonians' comfort zone, confront their existence with the awful results of their horrible "official" works.

The way to shut him down is to take away his left hand and might him move to his right. He can't do it in hoop and he can't do it in politics either.

Posted by: DangerGirl and her 1.21 gigawatt Sanity Prod (tm) at June 26, 2014 04:57 PM (GrtrJ)

Joan had an abortion, which we learned in a seen where she visited her lady doctor. Then she got engaged to an abusive guy who raped her, then joined the army, and in Hurt Locker mode enjoyed war more than being with her and "their" son. (Who was really the son of one of her bosses she was in love with.) Then he dies. THEN, she finally made partner by sleeping with a skeezy client who they desperately needed to please...and she pleased him. PPL love Joan but man has Matthew Weiner done a number on her character.

I know ppl act like MM is the greatest show of all time, but if you break down the actual plots is really just a soap with very good set dressing and costumes, and better acting/writing.

Kings long enjoyed this effect, with people despising what their lot was and hating what was done to them but always loving the king. Next thing you know, Obama will start stepping out in a zoot suit in a desperate attempt to look cool.

That photo of JugEars and Snuffalufagus pisses me off even more than normal for photos of the JEF.

It's on board Air Force One.

Snuffy is wearing a faggy pink/lavender shirt.

Both of them are deliberately dressed down; no tie, tie pulled down, no coat, sleeves rolled up.

Both are wearing microphones, so this is an on-screen TV interview.

Taken together, these things say:

Fuck You, America
XOXOXOXO
George and Barry
