So there is mens rea, and this is why it took two whole years before going for an involuntary manslaughter charge?

I am convinced that there are no competent prosecutors anywhere on planet earth anymore. They can do a whiz-bang job on white-collar process crimes, but only if they have a confession or don't care much about perjury, fraudulent evidence and testimony and frame-up by various government "law enforcement".

There really was never a law or defined right other than a right to privacy. We live in a strange republic that makes up so-called rights and then turns around and makes laws that clearly reduce and usurp Government Protected Natural Rights.

Every bit of that is an outright lie.

Rights are not discovered in the Constitution, in fact the framers were concerned that fools would later consider the Bill of Rights as a limited and definitive enumeration of Rights that are bestowed upon on us by the Creator.

Of course, murdering children is not something that God would recommend in His moral code, particularly when we see that children are considered, by the Creator, and by evidence of human history to be a blessing.

As for the juxtaposition of "abortion" with "care"? Only a hardened psychopath would consider murdering an innocent child to be a form of "care".

When USPS wants to close branches COngresscritters complain old people will not get their checks. 1. California get send around 50k checks per year. Texas around 40k and FLA around 30k. 2. It was either Cruz or Paul that said that 95% of physical check receiving SS people are fake, dead, or illegal.

Half cock allows you to freely spin the cylinder for loading and unloading. Full cock is how you get a 'hot' firearm, and in most cases, if this was a 'standard' SAA revolver, indexes the cylinder to the next chamber. Was the cylinder full of 'hot' cartridges or did it have just one 'hot' round strategically placed to index to the firing position when fully cocked?

WELLINGTON, New Zealand — Education Minister Chris Hipkins is set to become New Zealand's next prime minister after he was the only candidate to enter the contest Saturday to replace Jacinda Ardern. [...]

Hipkins, 44, must still garner an endorsement Sunday from his Labour Party colleagues, but that is just a formality now. An official transfer of power will come in the days to follow. [...]

The lack of other candidates indicated party lawmakers had rallied behind Hipkins to avoid a drawn-out contest and any sign of disunity following Ardern's departure.

Hipkins will have only a little more than eight months in the role before contesting a general election. Opinion polls have indicated that Labour is trailing its main opponent, the conservative National Party.||
Sure, no one else wants the job out of party unity.

186 Those people "fleeing" blue shit holes....

One has to suspect they're all not actually "fleeing." As in they've somehow seen the light and are bugging out.

The same phenomenon is occurring here in the Bluegrass from cities like Louisville, Cincinnati and Nashville. But the subdivisions with their McMansions are very much blue. Some of these transplants move straight into politics and swing local/city/county councils left.

It's one of the reasons some rural communities suddenly embraced having 5000 acres of solar panels instead of corn planted. They didn't vote for it, but the community council did... and guess who's on the council.

Me, I'm still trying to figure out how to spend that massive increase we just got to "compensate for inflation" (narrator voice: it did not compensate for inflation).

I'm surprised to be collecting anything, frankly -- I always figured the whole system would collapse before I turned 29, taking my many decades of "contributions" with it.

(and yeah, I know that's not how it works -- it's a Ponzi scheme).

Well, related, anyway. In that case the lawyer was the "broker" and the other character was the "brokee".

Not so much Ponzi as actuarial based. It currently 'works' by placing a heavy tax burden on 2.2 workers for every recipient. It will stop working when the glories of socialism arrive and no one works.

Right now, there is no actual vault with cash salted away. Every week or two workers pay taxes and it comes in one door at the SS administration. Twice a month that money goes out another door.

206 I saw a speculation last night that the Antifa org was ruthlessly rolled up using the Roe v. Wade leak as bait. Remember how nothing happened after the ruling finally came out, during Antifa primetime (i.e., the summer)?

I can see that. Antifa was already suppressed by the Rittenhouse verdict so might as well roll it up lest they embarrass the junta.

211 Back around 2005 while living in California we purchased a house and about 4 acres in a very rural area of West Virginia. In 2007 I bought a used pickup truck and drove it cross-country to have something to drive when we periodically went back. The locals were very unforgiving. CA plates on the truck were a dead giveaway. Even though we'd lived in WV previously these people did not know that, nor know us.

The CA plates came off and over time the locals realized we were not native Californians and things cooled down. But we had to make an effort to demonstrate we were not there to change things.

The "blue locusts" fleeing their own made shit holes don't try to demonstrate anything other than their superiority.

To answer my (and Wolfus's) question, the Sullivan Act was a New York State act, not New York City. 1911, not 1908.

The Sullivan Act (guns) was due to a Tammany Hall Democrat state senator named Timothy Sullivan. The Sullivan Ordinance (banning smoking by women) was due to a Tammany Hall Democrat alderman, also named Timothy Sullivan, but they weren't the same guy. Cousins. Went by "Big Tim" and "Little Tim", respectively.

219 I liked the one where he gave Aunt Esther a plastic bag and told her it was her Halloween mask.

The actress who played Esther was a stripper at one time. She and Redd Foxx had been friends for many years, going back to the days when they were both on the burlesque circuit.

Looking at the source code, it appears "vic/-" is followed by an open-strikethrough, ninety-five spaces, and a close-strikethrough. Not sure how that negates the space before the "at" though.
