Indian farmers streamed fake pro cricket matches to Russian bettors for two week - Complete with fake sound effects and a professional-sounding commentator A group of Indian farmers set up a fake Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket tournament so convincing that they managed to trick a Russian audience into making real bets. According to a report from the Times of India, the fake games took place on a farm in the village of Gujarat, with 21 farm laborers and unemployed teens who were each paid 400 rupees (~$5 USD) and tasked with impersonating “pro” cricket players from well-known Indian teams. The farmers reportedly livestreamed the tournament to YouTube over the course of two weeks and even set up a Telegram channel dedicated to the games. Or was it? “Entitled” Starbucks Customer Slammed by Internet for Placing Order 3 Minutes It appeared that fewer and fewer people were enthused about going back to work in some industries following the COVID-19 pandemic. Maybe it's because many folks, after having some time to reflect on their career aspirations upon being laid off or furloughed from their jobs and being forced to stay home, they didn't want to return to their previous positions. Or maybe it had to do with the fact that those working during the pandemic faced a litany of more mental health challenges due to increased stress levels at their respective jobs. Or it could be that a lot of people discovered that they were being hosed and businesses could afford to pay them more than they were currently receiving, which there's strong evidence for considering that so many major corporations are increasing base pay for many workers, even if these merit increases are being outpaced by inflation. Let's be careful out there. n the hot months of the summer, plenty of people like to cool off with a chilled beverage, from lemonade and iced tea, to beer and refreshing cocktails. However, it turns out that one of the most popular chilled alcoholic drinks can actually burn you, and now, doctors have issued a warning to anyone who plans to drink a margarita outside. While enjoying the beverage, there is a risk of what has been dubbed a "margarita burn." If you're poolside, beachside, on your deck or anywhere in the sun, and you wind up getting a drip of margarita on your skin or hands and don't wipe it off, you might get a severe burn. The culprit is the drink's citrus ingredients, which have a chemical in them that, when mixed with sunlight, will burn you. On Tuesday, the Senate Judiciary Committee held a hearing on abortion policy in the aftermath of the Supreme Court’s ruling in the case Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. The Court overturned landmark cases Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey. In the hearing, a pro-abortion advocate, Khiara M. Bridges, who is a professor of law at UC Berkeley School of Law, told Missouri GOP Sen. Josh Hawley that it is “transphobic” for him to suggest that only biological women can become pregnant. According to her law school bio, Bridges specializes in the intersectionality of class, race and reproductive issues. “We can recognize that this issue [abortion] impacts women while also recognizing that it impacts other groups. Those things are not mutually exclusive, Sen. Hawley,” she said. “I want to recognize that your line of questioning is transphobic and it opens up trans people to violence by not recognizing them as –” she continued. “You’re saying that I’m opening up people to violence by asking whether or not women are the folks who can have pregnancies?” Hawley responded. “I want to note one out of five transgender persons have attempted suicide–” she retorted. Posted by: Javems at July 12, 2022 10:26 PM (AmoqO) Yep. Squeeze 2 limes and add 2 oz. of dry curaçao. shake, rim glass witht salt and enjoy. Easier and much better than any mix. (I think the ratio is 3 oz tequila, 2 oz dry curaçao , 2 oz. lime and if you need it, a pinch of agave.) It's not a mix you can buy at the store but is cheaper, better, and won't give you a sugar hangover. Posted by: LASue at July 12, 2022 10:39 PM (Ed8Zd) 172

Once your fall is long enough to get all the way down to your waist nothing is stopping you except grabbing the beams. The first thing, the ceiling looks like it had a ceiling medallion. Real ones are plaster, but this one was one of the plastic ones because you can see where it was glued. If it had a medallion, it had a light, and right where he went through there would be an electrical box and wires, and they aren't in the picture, and they sure as shit would be hanging. If doctors were honest with their patients and true to their hippocratic oath, they'd advise strongly against transitioning surgery.
In fact, they'd refuse to perform them. Go read up on the horrible, horrible ongoing issues with the procedure. Hair growing inside the urethra, the body attempting to heal up vaginoplasty results requiring more and more surgery, the long term cancer risks of ongoing hormone therapy, the blood clots and on and on and on. When you get past the funny drag-queen TikTok videos, the reality is much more gruesome. It's Frankenstein level stuff. In fact, if you are that parent or grandparent that has a child that is in "I'm gonna do it" mode, perhaps the best strategy is to semi-embrace it, but go to the consults and ask all of the questions they don't want people asking. Ask them to show pictures to your loved one of what the complications look like and make your loved one come face-to-face with what they will be dealing with. “I want to note one out of five transgender persons have attempted suicide–” she retorted. ----- That's because they are mentally ill and can never be happy for that reason alobe, not because somebody pointed out a simple inescapable fact of life. Every enabler who encourages them on their doomed 'journey' of hormones and mutilating surgery to its endpoint -- to the final discovery that the irreversible changes involved actually don't make the feeling of everything being wrong go away at all -- is helping to kill them. Everyone who points out the mad delusion of it -- is actually trying to save them. Posted by: Semi-Literate Thug at July 12, 2022 11:20 PM (5eizm) 334

But of course, the $180 was on hold for days after the cancellation. Then tried the other competitor app. Same thing. Another 180 or so on hold. So went and got on a greyhound. 150 mi to Cleveland was about 20 bucks. The lady bus driver stops at a rest stop and says, and I QUOTE - Don't nobody get off da bus! I'm just taking a piss! And she leaves. 20 people get off and go into the rest stop. She comes out. Sees people running towards the bus as it pulled away and she kept going.

And yeah. Bridget Bardot might've well been the hottest of her time. Not necessarily "most beautiful", but HOTTEST.
But, she's aged into "activist's face", with all of the angst and anger etched thereon. She's still beautiful under the ravages, but she's paid a price. Thing is, she went all 1,000% animal rights, with every fiber of her being. Then, when she snapped to a clue and stood up to muzzie oppression, she was dismissed as a has been and a crank. If she'd have just counseled "care" for animals destined for slaughter, and banked her fires, her later stands against muzzies might've yielded better attentions. Society seems to afford "activists" only so much attention, before reaching for the Off Switch. Jim Sunk New Dawn Galveston, TX Posted by: Jim at July 13, 2022 12:41 AM (tkOps) 515
Actually vaporization or a crater would not be effects of an airburst nuke detonation beyond a fairly small radius - of course depending on yield of the device and a bit on height of burst. Just big bombs, not magic.
Of course it is not recommended to touch these things off at home, or to be anywhere near one when it goes off. "Nukemap" website can be played with to get an idea, or if you have the circular slide-rule type thinggie weapons effect calculator from the back of your copy of The Effects of Nuclear Weapons, that also gives an idea. This "supermoon" stuff is an illustrative example of how programmed internet hype works. The term "super moon" was coined by some astrologer years ago. Being an astrologer, than meant actual astromoners were going to roll their eyes with disgust. Sometime around 2011, the "supermoon" thing took off. They discovered that headlines about "Super Moon! About 15 years ago I had a job doing data entry from second hand reports, and I became obsessed with the idea that there was no way I could verify if the information I was given and in turn passed on in polished format was in any ways correct.
Decisions were being made that affected people's lives, and all I was doing was putting the gloss of "data" on it by my cleaning up of format and putting it in order according to a simple format style. I began thinking of ways to falsify and shade data, to make true things appear insanely stupid, and create the impression that false data was actually true, and could be verified from multiple sources, which of course all came from the same source. I have always been interested in art and artifact forgery, data forgery is a very interesting field. This was before easy access to photoshop and image editing by the way. Posted by: Infidel at July 13, 2022 02:04 AM (mn1Pi) One lefty with YouTube clips of his podcast, Jimmy Dore (used to be with The Young Turks), had some video of Biden from back in the early 1990's when he helped push through the Senate the 'have a quarter-sized amount of crack and go to jail for five years' law. Was proud the judge had no discretion at sentencing and didn't care about the reasons for the crack addiction -- just go to jail for five years. Then he juxtaposed that with clips of his perfect son in a room with a hooker weighing his crystal meth. To me, that's why Hunter Biden's drug use is a big deal and not just 'a family matter'. FJB was perfectly fine with locking up your family, but doesn't seem so inclined with his self-admitted -- and self-filming -- drug-using own. The absolute pit of hypocrisy. Thanks for the commiseration about my lying Dad. Was hard to get used to as a kid. As an adult, I'd just call him out on his bullshit, and that would enrage him.

Posted by: Romeo13 at July 13, 2022 03:00 AM (oHd/0) I don't know. Coupled with what his daughter's, Ashley, 'left behind at a halfway house' diary says about her Dad's sexual abuse, Joe has been a pedo for a long time. I mean, what adult father takes a shower with their daughter beyond a certain age, to the point where the daughter wrote in the diary "showers w/ my dad (probably not appropriate)." Couple that with the plethora of videos of Joe sniffing the hair of little girls right out in the open and in plain sight, it seems as if he felt untouchable (pun intended). FJB has never been a principled or good man. The media hyping him as some sort of 'moderate' during the election has got to be one of their biggest lies of 2020. And it worked for (on) far too many people who actually voted for the prick based upon that lie. Posted by: RickZ at July 13, 2022 03:17 AM (ldL4g) 618

Posted by: RickZ at July 13, 2022 03:17 AM (ldL4g) That's the big clue for me. Even if a child thought all that touchy-feely stuff was harmless and just "dad being dad," the pedo nickname would fit. Posted by: m at July 13, 2022 03:29 AM (QPyqx) 619

Posted by: m at July 13, 2022 03:29 AM (QPyqx) The reactions of the kids to Joe sniffing them in those videos is also quite telling. Very creepy. When it come to pedos, where's there's smoke, there's a raging forest fire. Posted by: RickZ at July 13, 2022 03:36 AM (ldL4g) 620

Morning, folken! I took time to look over the stories MisHum posted. My God -- some companies are demanding $13-14 for a pizza????
And the guy stopping at Starbucks 3 min. before closing wouldn't have been so bad. But his entitled attitude in his postings afterward, that was lousy. He could easily have hit a gas station/convenience store (nowadays they're all pretty much the same thing) and saved some money too. Anyway! I'm up to work out if I can manage it before the rain that's expected soon. Posted by: Wolfus Aurelius at July 13, 2022 04:15 AM (c6xtn) 627
I had a family member--a person who married in--who would pinch girls' cheeks really hard on first greeting. Really hard, and jiggle them back and forth, and for too long. I think about that when I see these girls squirming away from him; they know there's something wrong, but mom and dad are letting this happen.

I expect that is true.
Posted by: m at July 13, 2022 04:14 AM (QPyqx) From what I've read, they literally cannot help themselves. It's a very sick compulsion. Like serial killers have a compulsion to kill, pedos have a compulsion to molest. The two groups do not think in any way way approaching 'normal'. The only kind of rehabilitation that works is the kind of rehab Ted Bundy had in Ol' Sparky. Let's face it, FJB has been doing this whole sniffing/getting too close to little girls in public his entire political career. You can bet someone, or many someones, along the way told him he had to stop doing that. But he didn't. Because he couldn't. And now this sicko is our president. As much as I loathe Barry, he kept as much distance as possible between himself and FJB. Even ShitMidas knew something was off about Joe Biden, and that's saying something.
